Cellar & Ale

Great little wine bar we visited over the weekend. Short menu of charcuterie boards, sandwiches, flat breads and some apps. Although we were straight off a plane and starving, the 3 person board might have been a bit small but tasty. Nice beer and wine selection with attentive staff equals a good time with friends and family.

Thank you to the owners for being so kind and helpful last night. We had a large group and there was a lot going on. They were so incredibly accommodating and made the night perfect. (We've been a few times though and they're amazing every time.) The wine selection is spot on. I recommend the charcuterie and the figgy figgy, but everything looked equally delicious! You can choose a bottle of wine or beer, read a book, and relax into the evening. A Matthews is a must!

Their two by two board is larger than expected. Enjoyed the service and red wine. Definitely a hidden gem.

A stellar sandwich and casual, friendly atmosphere. Clearly a place that's somewhat quieter for locals to hang out after work. I like that they had unique beers, wine, and kombucha to take home.

Cool little spot with about 10-12 varied draft choices and large selection of can beer and wine wide selection of wine. The menu is limited but all good. Service was on point and friendly.

Ohhhhh I LOVE this place! And I am allergic to wine and don't drink beer. I had the fig flatbread and it was fresh and tasty. Quality ingredients. Quick service. My bestie had a sparkling wine that came in the cutest little bottle. It is pretty big inside. I love the maps of the wine regions of France in the hallway to the bathroom. Atmosphere was great. We went on a Thursday afternoon and it started getting packed by 4!

We will certainly be back here! Tucked away off Main Street, the staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming! The cheeses we got on the two by two were delicious and i loved the variety we had to choose from and build our own board! Can't wait to try all they have to offer!

Glad I stopped in! The Matthews Wine Cellar has a really nice selection of Old and New World wines carefully cultivated by the owners and staff. We enjoyed a California red blend (Oak Farm Tievoli) which was really nice. They have a bottle shop, but they also do wine by the glass, beer, and mixed drinks (including $5 mimosas). MWC also has a kitchen with an elevated menu of nibbles. If I hadn't been on my way to eat and stopped in while waiting in a reservation, I definitely would've tried a couple of things. The pretzels and Buffalo Bleu Cheese Pub Chips caught my eye. Hopefully, I'll try those soon! Give MWC a shot if you like great people, wine, and a comfortable atmosphere.

Love the place under the management change. My wife and I have enjoyed multiple date nights the last few months and are big fans of the hummus app and Sammie #2. The staff are all very nice and make us feel very welcomed. We were just planning a group outing with some friends to come back here later this month.

Such a warm and welcoming place. Food is delicious, I can't get enough of the lemony hummus and the whole family loves the pretzels. Great place!
