Cedric's Tavern holds a special place in my heart. My husband and I had our first date there, we took our children there on their first trip to Biltmore, and it has become a place to celebrate special occasions in our family. The ambience is delightful. The Irish pub + sports bar + old-fashioned kitchen is splendid. The people who work at Cedric's are so kind and personable. The food is delicious. My personal favorite is the fish and chips!

Another great lunch at Cedric's Tavern with fabulous service by Chris. The husband and I shared a pork burger and the soup of the day-- a lentil potato offering that was delicious. Portions are large enough to share if you don't want to over eat. Nice atmosphere and always a pleasant experience.

Great location in Antler Hill Village. In the summer months your meal here may be enhanced by the live band in the central village square. Interior and exterior dining options are available. The vegetarian selection is a bit too limited for my taste, but everything I've tried has been very good. The pretzel rolls with mustard butter are fantastic. Service is consistently superb. Dogs are allowed on the patio. Cedric's is a relaxing and worthwhile way to finish up your day at Biltmore.

Came here recently while visiting the village hotel and the Biltmore estate. We stopped by and had a couple of different items. The ambience was OK. My wife really enjoyed the beet sandwich. I had the pork chili, which I wish was a little bit spicier. The surface was outstanding. The waitress Jess and manager Heather were able to correct a mistake in my order. Would come here again but maybe try different item.

Cedric's Tavern is in a cute area of the Biltmore property called the Antler Hill Village and Winery. It has a good size outdoor seating area, inside, and nice size bar. It was packed, so we had a 30 minute wait. Our server Tom was great. We had some wins, some misses, and some flat out losses. First up they brought 4 waters and there was about 4 ice cubes in each. I don't understand why restaurants are getting so greedy with the ice! (Loss). Next up the jar of pickles came. Best fresh house made pickles I've had. Crunchy. Vinegary and full of flavor. (Win). Next up our cauliflower with beer cheese. It was served cold. Under seasoned and hardly any of the cheese sauce. (Miss). A runner brought us a bowl of the beer and bacon almonds. We hadn't ordered them but since she had set them down she left them. Salty with a touch of sweetness. (Win). Our final app was the baked Brie. Described as mini baked Brie until bubbling... our Brie was the opposite of bubbling, it was cold. And the crostinis were also cold, not buttery or toasted and borderline stale. The cranberry pistachio compote was good. (Loss). The last of the food that I had was the pork burger. Something I've never had before and would never make at home. It was described as a blend of estate-raised pork, bacon and roasted garlic, topped with Irish Cheddar, Guinness mayo, sauteed sweet onions, and pickle chips, served with a side of Tavern chips. The tavern chips were ice cold. And had zero salt on them. I don't know if all of our cold food was the chefs fault, the expediter, or the runner but it was an issue. An issue that we didn't complain about so shame on us for not speaking up. The pork burger was good. Seasoned, warm, and served on a buttery toasted bun with a good amount of the Guinness mayo. I did pull almost all of the sautéed sweet onions off because there was too many. (Overall plate was a win/miss). Feedback from my friend's on their food: Pub Burger, awesome. fish and chip; fish was greasy but fries with malt vinegar was good. Wedge salad good minus the cherry tomatoes. (It's not tomato season yet). My Oh George cocktail was Crown Royal, Grand Marnier, and ginger ale. It was a good sipping cocktail. Overall it's a nice spot inside the Biltmore property to dine. We'd all go back. I would just be more vocal about the cold food if that was the case again.

Dinner time still on Biltmore estatesWe ordered Bbqd flavor Wings & split a Pub Burger. The flavor of the burger was outstanding, even without any additional condiments it would have been great. Whatever secret spices they use to flavor the meat comes bursting through to your taste buds. A generous portion of fries with a soft crunch on the outside while being tender in the middle.Wifey ordered a Hot Honey Rum Chata which she said was wonderful. I had Desarano Ameratto Over. The wings had a great marinade flavor. Cooked to perfection, with bbq flavor sauce on top.A little messy but scrumdiddlyumptious nevertheless. The staff was fantastic from beginning to end, even though there was a long wait of 45min, so we took seats at the bar, after waiting 20min!4.5 starsCedric's Tavern you have been ...Tongue tested

I was not impressed.. the restraunt is clean, dark, (hard to read the menu at night)The Brie app was good. I had the bison burger. I ordered it medium. It came out rare with a bun toasted until it was hard. The fries were also overcooked. My wife liked her halibut.I will not order the bison burger here again. We had to ask for lemon to put in our water several times before they brought any.If you are looking for fountain soda other than cola or sprite, this is not the place.I may return and try the lunch menu.

Following the Back Stairs Tour and a visit to the Winery at Biltmore Estate, we were tired & famished. Cedric's provided a warm dark wood environment in the barroom. Starting with the Warm House Made Pretzel Rolls we were 'on a roll'. The perfect combination of mildly crusty pretzel covering on a toothsome interior served with a cheese dip and German mustard got us off to a great start. Tami chose the Soup of the Day - a tomato bisque - which was savory and filling. I couldn't resist the Meatloaf Sandwich which proved to be old school delicious. After the winery sampling, I couldn't resist a question of an Alexander Valley Cabernet to aid digestion. Perfectly sated & happy were we.

Stopped in for food with my boys. A nice enough place with lots of space, a big bar, lots of dark wood, but lit up well enough that we could see. We were thirsty and got the kids sodas while the adults had beverages... mine was non alcoholic. The bartenders were cool, friendly and courteous... We decided to eat here and they gave us tables in the bar area. When we got the menu it was filled with "specialty" foods. Everything had a twist or something different to it. There really wasn't anything for the kids and the prices were really high. We just were not feelling it. We decided to pass... just not what we wanted.I'm sure the food is good... the place is nice... but after all day at the Biltmore we wanted something just simple and hearty. By the way there is a good BBQ truck that smells wonderful just outside...
