This is easily one of the coolest and most beautiful parks I have taken my children to. Both creative and esthetically pleasing, you really must bring your children here. Restrooms are here as well.

The kids and I love this place. Listen...I've lived in several states, I've seen all types of parks...this place does NOT disappoint. There are so many unique and completely fun pieces of playground equipment. Rope walks, sliding swings, rope wall, etc. Additionally there are great picnic areas and shelters, grills, and a zip line course. But also a greenway to ride bikes or walk yourself or your pups. And, let's add the multiple baseball fields that are a great place to practice with your peers or your kiddos. I absolutely recommend this gem. Its an awesome, FREE, place to spend a beautiful day in Morganton.

Off the beaten track but the best public playground EVER! Bring snacks and drinks. Pack a picnic. Bring a blanket and lawn chairs. Pack a frisbee , a kite, or a drone. There are picnic areas and big clean public restrooms. Lots of parking makes it convenient. You will want to stay and play for hours. Hint: peagravel paves the play areas so don't wear flip flops.

I've been here a couple times. Mainly for frisbee golfing, but they have a bunch of other things to do as well. The park is kind of a hidden gem. It's out in the sticks in Morganton, but it is a VERY nicely kept park and extremely beautiful. One of the nicest I've ever seen at least. There are a few sections to this park and I have not been to all of them. From passing by, it looks like a sand volleyball court, a baseball field, possibly some soccer fields, a rock climbing wall, and I've heard through the grapevine that there is ziplining on certain days here.... I'll have to try that out if I have a chance to come back...There is a nice 18 basket frisbee golf course that makes you walk at least a mile if you go through all of them. Being someone who doesn't particularly enjoy just straight up working out or running, this is probably the best exercise I'll get. And it's a bunch of fun. Word. And there are some paved trails for those who want to go on walks or bike rides. I haven't yet traversed those trails but I think there's a 5k trail and a 10k trail. Finally, there is a pavilion and a playground that is designed like a nice little lodge. I like this park. Have you not noticed?

This park hides a nice disc golf course. Not the longest tees, but you'll definitely feel challenged threading your disc through thick woodland and hooking your throws around sharp turns. There's a lot of fun to be had on this hidden gem!

This is a wonderful park. It has rope courses perfect for the youngest member of the family. There are also zip lines. Picnic shelters make it the perfect spot for an afternoon picnic. The playgroups are handicap accessible. Great walking trails and a freesbe golf course.

This is probably the nicest, cleanest, most well designed park we've been to in over ten years of baseball tournaments with our sons. It had plenty of parking, large, well groomed fields, lots of shade trees for spectators, paved paths between fields, clean bathrooms (with toilet paper!), and a well staffed and stoked snack bar (even selling bags of ice!). We constantly saw maintenance people riding golf carts, emptying trash cans and cleaning up, and we really appreciated spending three days at a park this nice. We didn't use any of the other parts of the park, but saw golf and frisbee courses, zip lining and playgrounds. Friends told us there is also a water park on a river nearby. Compared to some places we've been with overflowing Porta-Potties, ragged fields and no snack bar or shade, this one was a delight and we hope to come back again soon.
