When this operation first opened, I tried it with my family and was sorely disappointed. I did not go back for years until a friend talked it up. Since that revisit quite some time ago, this has become one of my favorite restaurants in the local area; in fact, this is my "go to" place for a quick lunch or dinner.I usually order fajitas or the El Volcan (my favorite), but I occasionally change it up and try other dishes. For a fast, inexpensive lunch, try the Speedy Gonzales or one of the multitude of lunch specials. You'll find the food to be extremely well priced- lunch or dinner costs far less than most restaurants and the quality and flavors are very good.Staff is courteous and friendly.I personally feel that this is the best Mexican restaurant in the Denver area.

I would give this experience zero stars if I could. I ordered extra queso but didn't find it in my bag. When I asked the host for a cup, she smiled and assured me it was included, saying it was on the food. However, both of my entrees were drenched in queso sauce, making them soupy and unappetizing. It felt like either an attempt to be an asshole because extra sauce was ordered or an attempt to mask the taste of the burnt food (still tasted like charcoal btw). I'm very disappointed with both the quality of the food and the price I paid.

This one missed the mark for me. I hate writing less than glowing reviews but unfortunately, there's not much I can rave about here. The waitress was nice and food came out fairly quick. The tacos were loaded with meat and flavorful. But that's about the extent of the good things to note. The restaurant itself was uncomfortably hot and the music was louder than necessary. To be fair, that's usually a given but even after requesting a seat on the patio to avoid the heat of the interior building, the music seemed to be even louder outside. It made it hard to even read over the menu and made the breaks between songs feel like a welcomed repreive. I don't want to be one to harp on every little thing so I'll just note that for the price, the food and restaurant as a whole was not up to par. Right off the bat, I had my concerns when the salsa was practically flavorless and the chips were stale. I decided to order the "Little Mexico" plate since it was a sampling of many items and I figured it would give me the best idea of how the food was here. My husband had the Al pastor tacos which seemed to be a solid option. They were loaded with meat and he seemed to enjoy them. There was even enough leftover to take home for lunch tomorrow. My dish was hot and loaded with food as well. It could've really used a side of guacamole salad or something like what accompanies other dishes to help break up the amount of cheese and other heavy ingredients. We ended up asking for a side of guacamole and sour cream, which helped a lot. The guacamole was really good and if I visit again, I will be sure to order it. Overall, the dish was ok but not something I would order again. The tamale was the obvious standout so it was worth trying just to know what I would want to order next time. Overall, everything seemed to lack flavor which is surprising in a Mexican restaurant. For nearly $50 for two dishes and two drinks (no alcohol or appetizers) I would rather eat elsewhere. I have yet to find a solid Mexican restaurant in this area so I had high hopes but the search continues. Maybe I just caught them on a bad night but given how many restaurants are in the area, I'm not sure when I'll work them back in for another shot. Hopefully others have a better experience. If you decide to check this place out, I would recommend the guacamole and/or tacos. They also seem to have good drink specials if you're looking for a place to have drinks.

Jacquelyn was our server. She did an outstanding job with a smile. The food was unbelievably fresh and good. This was the first time I saw food hit the table looking just like the picture.

Casa Garcia, you are so convenient to my house and I wanted to like you more but it's always just ok. And because there are so many Mexican food choices around you have to be more than OK to get my repeat business on a consistent basis. On my visit last night, we sat on the patio which was enclosed and heated, but I still was cold. And I'm not someone who gets horribly cold so I imagine a normal person would be very uncomfortable out there. My fault, we chose to sit out there instead of waiting on a table inside, but just know that before making your selection. Our complimentary chips and salsa arrived quickly with our drinks. Service is swift and neutral, not friendly or unpleasant. The salsa is ok, lacks spice and the chips had an odd chemical flavor, perhaps old oil? The cheese dip we got was delicious.I got the Taco Loco, which is basically a taco salad. They just shape the bowl into a huge taco shape. It was...you guessed it...just ok. Nothing special at all. I wouldn't get it again. The rice was more promising, but needed some of that cheese dip and salsa to add flavor. If you are looking for a place to grab a bite and don't expect much else than rapid food that is edible, this place will be just fine for you.

This restaurant has an authentic Mexican look to it. The food is pretty good for NC. Coming from San Diego which is about 30 minutes from the Mexican border, it's hard to find something that I'm used to. The salsa that they serve with the chips has good flavor but is not spicy at all. I ask for the spicy salsa and that's only a little spicy. The chips are really good and fresh. They also serve chicken breast which is always a good thing. They have some unique items on the menu and some include liquid cheese which is more Tex-Mex or is it NC-Mex? I'm not sure. The prices here are ridiculously low especially for the lunch menu. Such a great deal. Service is good and they do get busy at lunch time.

Stopped by here for lunch one day last week, and while it took a few minutes to get my server to finally settle down from running around (must have been no school because a lot of families were there at the time) I was shocked at how fast I got my food. Got the cheese steak burrito, and the carne asada was good, not amazing, but it was tender and had good flavor. My only real issue was waiting for service when I needed a refill, my check, and even when I went to the counter to pay. But definitely a place i'll be willing to try again since I'm in that area often for work

The staff are rude, i came here on my lunch break hoping to relax, i stood at the host stand for 10 minutes while all the waiters walked by, they didn't acknowledge me or let me know some one will be right with you. Very rude!!! I'm in town for a day and this is not how I wanted it to feel.
