HIDDEN GEM IN BALLANTYNE!!! Food portions are awesome and the prices are unbeatable. The drinks are so fun and come in the best presentation. The servers are so fun and entertaining and make the whole experience incredible! MUST TRY!!

Casa del Tequila is an upscale Mexican restaurant with prices to match. Actually, the prices aren't even listed on their menu which I thought was odd. The ACP Tejano was OK and included grilled shrimp, chicken and beef served over a bed of rice with queso over top. The beef unfortunately was really chewy so I only ate the chicken and shrimp. For $21.95, I expected better. My husband ordered verde enchiladas and he said they were not great, but fine. We didn't try any of the drinks or appetizers other than salsa that was delivered to the table. We are really struggling to find our go-to Mexican restaurant down here in Charlotte.

Made a reservation for 8pm on a Saturday night. Arrived at 8:00 on the dot and still had to wait 20 mins to be seated. Since it was National Margarita Day of course I had to partake in the buy one get one. I ordered a strawberry lime and a blueberry. The strawberry lime margarita was refreshing, the blueberry was a little too sweet for my taste. To eat, I ordered my go to of pollo con crema. It was a little salty and tasted more like a cheese sauce than a sour cream one that I'm used to at other places. After dinner, our server Enrique brought us complimentary shots. I would return in the future to try something different as the menu was vast.

We had the Chimichanga for lunch, which came with guacamole. Not many restaurants include that without an upcharge, so that was nice. The Margarita was good. The service was speedy and efficient.

I wanted some tacos and to try a new place. This place has $5 tequila shots daily and weekly drink specials. The food was good and service was fast, maybe because I came at closing. Be sure to ask for pricing because the menu does not have pricing.

From Arizona. Here on business. So good had to come back for a 2nd visit. As good as any restaurant out west. Amazing margaritas and would highly recommend the Blanca Enchiladas.

This is a restaurant located in the Ballantyne area. I passed by this restaurant offered in and finally decided to try it. There's plenty of parking in the share parking areas. The staff were friendly and attentive. Staff Made several suggestions. The food was OK for me. Nothing was too tasty but basic. The tacos could've been made with onion or cilantro could've been added as a garnish. The Monterey tacos was a large portion to consume, so definitely have leftovers. The place was clean. I did not see one female employee the entire time I was there. This place to me, it's missing a flare. came on a Saturday afternoon and it was empty. The bar was fully stocked up tequila and whiskey if you want a vodka, they are limited. Hope you enjoy.

Food is very good. Not great but solid . Skinny margarita was very good but not a lot in it for the price.

Solid Mexican Food. GREAT service! They appreciate your business!Please note I am from San Diego where we have amazing Mexican Food. It is hard to find good Mexican Food in Charlotte when I'm there on business.This isn't quite San Diego flavor but I WILL be back regularly when in town! The Chipotle Enchiladas were very flavorful! Chips and salsa were the best in Charlotte! Good prices for the amount of food...did I mention the great service? Like it hot? Ask for the hotter salsa. Dining room was clean and bright.Try it out - it impressed a San Diego traveler.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. Have taken friends here numerous times. They loved it. The staff is awesome.
