Caroline's Oyster Bar

Caroline's Oyster Bar is tasty and the ambiance works well! Great margaritas, oysters rock, brisket appetizer, and the Caesar salad was delish to boot. I wish we were in town to pop in for happy hour, but cozying up the bar to enjoy the vibes and dine was fantastic during a recent JW stay. Cheers!

We stayed at the jw for the cowboys game. Wanted a few apps and drinks before our later reservations at a steakhouse down the street. We didn't have reservations at the oyster bar and asked to sit in a booth at around 5. The host told us they're all taken. And said we could sit outside in a booth and it's heated. We said fine even though it was 30 degrees. We ordered oysters and a Greek goddess salad and a few drinks. Everything came out quickly and surprisingly good. We left within 45 minutes. Those booths I inquired about were still vacant. Sucks hotel guests don't get priority on seating especially for quick apps.Make reservations if you want to go regardless of time.

My friends and I stopped by Caroline's after a fun afternoon at the museum of illusions. We opted to sit at the bar and have a drink.Service was friendly. And the staff were attentive. I cannot speak to food or anything like that as I did not eat during this visit. But, what I saw others eating looks good and I definitely plan to visit again in the future. It's a beautiful place and they have heaters on the patio for the cold winter ahead!

Stopped by for a quick bite and it was a great idea! Cute ambiance, good service and the apps were great! The salmon was creamy and worked great with the fresh chips. The hush puppies were yummy and I wanted more with the dip

Had a great time at this spot for a chill girls' dinner! The open oyster bar was a fun touch--we loved watching the shucking in action. We ordered a variety of dishes, and most were delicious. The oysters were definitely a highlight--so fresh and flavorful! The only downside was the collard greens, which lacked seasoning. Other than that, everything was great. Service was excellent, and our server made the experience even better. Would definitely come back!

I was very satisfied coming here! Everything was delicious and so fresh! I tried the oyster Rockefeller and that was my favorite! The service was excellent as she gave us great recommendations! The inside is decorated well and very intimate! I would suggest coming here for date night or if you're craving seafood! Very good and fresh food!

Still 5 star good after 3 years, time for an update.I've been back several times since my first visit 3 years ago and this visit was exceptional.After some glitches with OpenTable and making an advance reservation ahead of Falcons at Panthers it all worked out with the assist from Amberlea, one of the Managers.It was a 430p Sunday kick-off & my Sister met me there right at 3p and it was not very crowded on the patio.Megan, our Server was great, she has a great sense humor and was very good at explaining the fresh oysters and made some good recommendations from the menu.Mary had the bbq brisket and I had the grilled Cobia with Collards on the side.It's such a great spot for pre-game where you get an upscale casual meal with some fresh air on the patio and an easy walk to BofA.I like they have changed up the menu and added some additional entre options, the Cobia was fresh and excellent and the Collards are always just right!

We love coming here. It's on the 2nd floor of the JW Marriott. If you are staying here or not, these is a great foody spot. Try some oysters?

The ambiance at Caroline Oyster Bar is lively and fun, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. We arrived 30 minutes early for a reservation of 5, but despite the restaurant being completely empty, they refused to seat the two of us until the rest of our party arrived. We waited outside for half an hour before finally being seated when most of our group was present.Initially, the service seemed promising with a detailed explanation of the menu and some good suggestions, but things went downhill quickly. Our server frequently walked past us without checking in, and it took 10-15 minutes just to get her attention after calling her over. At one point, someone from our group had to physically walk up to her to ask her to take our order. When the food arrived, it was missing sides and condiments, which added to the frustration.As for the food, it was okay--nothing terrible, but certainly not memorable. It might have been more enjoyable if the service hadn't been so poor. Hopefully, this was just an off night, but based on our experience, they have a lot of room for improvement, especially when it comes to customer service.

The food was fantastic I mean absolutely marvelous. The service was amazing our waitress was super kind and helpful and made the experience ten times better. The ambience was quite nice the way they had the decor was just amazing it made you feel like you are worth more than the world's biggest diamond. And again the service was great. Will definitely come back next time I can
