We ordered the pulled pork butt plate with sides of broccoli and mac and cheese, and also added on a side of battered onion rings. Everything was delicious and flavorful, with my favorite being the garlic broccoli. The service was also kind and fast for a Sunday. The reason for 4/5 out of stars instead of 5/5 stars is the richness of the food- Mac and cheese and broccoli were a bit more oily than I'd prefer.However, it was an authentic North Carolina BBQ experience and I would come back here again!

Love eating here every chance we get and the service is top notch. And they were accommodating to allow us to eat outside with our pup.

We arrived at the restaurant on a Sunday for lunch, not knowing that they had a buffet option. After taking a look at the buffet bar, we decided to go for it! There were all sorts of delicious options, from BBQ pulled pork to country-fried steak. For the price point of $20-25 per person, the food was definitely of high quality. It wasn't your typical buffet where everything is just deep-fried with some seasoning. I could tell that they put a lot of time and effort into getting their recipes right.Some of my favorite items included the grilled steak. It was perfectly seasoned and char-grilled to perfection. The breaded chicken breast was also delicious, with moist meat and a crispy coating. The pulled BBQ pork was also a standout, with a flavorful bark and fatty meat.Overall, the customer service was fantastic. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they were always happy to refill our plates. And the sweet tea was amazing! It was the perfect blend of sweet and tart, and it was so refreshing.I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable buffet meal. The food is high quality, the customer service is great, and the sweet tea is to die for!

This is super weird. Sorry. Maybe your religion isn't so great in the first place if you have to bribe people with discounts for sub par food.

DO NOT EAT OR DRINK HERE!! This place is absolutely disgusting.... And the food is complete BS, don't believe anything the menu says. This is nothing more than low quality Monarch Foods par cooked crap!! Here's a list of what we experienced...THE DISGUSTING GRAY COLORED "brisket" MADE MY WIFE SICK....DO NOT EAT HERE!! SHAME!!Coleslaw smelled and tasted of BLEACH...y'all should be ashamed of yourselves...Food Lion paid a ton of money because of this cheat....what, moldy coleslaw or something else?The prime rib was NOT smoked in house, but rather Monarch par cooked...smoking for a few minutes doesn't count, stop pretending!! SHAME!!Baked potato that was visibly OLD and how about the PRETEND BUTTER....stop it with that Monarch low grade vegetable oil crap....SHAME!!Homemade hush puppies? You should really tell the truth...SHAME!Drinks....moonshine is GOOD, Bloody Mary's are GOOD, don't try to mix them, it's TERRIBLE! Whatever my wife had was also "undrinkable"....it required a full glass of pineapple juice AND about a dozen lemons AND an extra glass to mix it up in and make it bearable...NOPE!Apparently there's a buffet...holy cow...I went over to take a look and grab some lemons....DON'T DO IT...GROSS!!Ambiance....skeezy, sleezy and scuzzy! I've been in much nicer tweaker biker bars all over this country than this S@$T HOLE! Restroom needed SERIOUS attention...come on!!Service... well the hostess needs to go on home and get her attitude right. The only reason this dump got a single star from me was because of our waitress. She was very nice and what she didn't know, she at least tried to figure out.I DON'T THINK THIS PLACE COULD OR EVER SHOULD PASS A HEALTH INSPECTION. I WAS SO DISGUSTED AND DISAPPOINTED!!

Very large restaurant with an equally large menu. We both ordered off the menu and did not do the buffet. We both ordered burgers, huge portions and we really enjoyed them. Big drink menu as well. Service was not bad either. We were sat instantly on a Friday night as well.

One of the best BBQ places in Charlotte. We always bought it for lunch as it was so convenient and I got hooked.

Morganton deserves better. We tried again. This time we used the web based ordering platform. It was easy enough to negotiate and the order was placed with an approximate time given for the food to be ready. I was there on time. Could find no hostess or anyone operating take out pick up. Very slow customer night. Not more than a dozen or so patrons. No one waiting to be seated. The salad bar was a disaster. Brunch bar had closed three hours earlier and the breakfast food had been sitting there for three hours. Food spilled everywhere on the salad bar. Nasty.My food was finally boxed and given to me 35 minutes later than promised. Order placed at 5:30 finally left the restaurant at 6:45. Waitstaff was apologetic. Gave me free drinks as a peace offering.Just seems as though management here just doesn't care.

Went last night for the meat buffet. Got there at 715 buffet was completely out of food. Question the waitress several times she said the owner was working on getting food out. When they did bring food out so many people were waiting it got gone as quick as it came out. The mashed potatoes when they came out they were very cold. After so many people were complaining about no food on the bar. They started closing the pans on the bar. Shouldn't advertise an all you can eat buffet if you can keep it stocked. Good way to loose customers.

Restaurant appears to be closed permanently. Exterior looks abandoned and the parking lot was empty / doors were locked when we arrived for lunch.
