This place is alright. For two players it was $90 bucks and for the price I would have expected the course to be kept up. This place is made for the 55+, but let younger folks in (with un approving looks). The golf carts are mediocre at best and barley make it up some of the hills. The people there are usually nice, but some are just rude and arrogant. My friend and I where confronted by an older man for no reason whatsoever and where yelled at. I am shocked and amazed at the lack of respect by some of the people here and it really degrades from the Golding community. I will not be returning Please Sun City, take care of your golf course.

Wow, this is such a long course, just a shade over 7,000 yards from the white tees!Really surprised at the length of this course since this is in a Del Web 55+ community. They do have green tees which are closer but almost near the red ladies tees.I played on a Monday and it had rained on Sat & Sun so the course was still a bit soggy. Because of this I almost had the course to myself. There were just a few other golfers who started on the front and they started me on the back so I had no one in front or behind me. The green fee was $42 bucks. The guy on the phone laughed when I asked about a senior discount. He said "everyone who lives in this community is a senior so no, we don't offer one". Overall the course is in great condition, the fairways, greens and tee boxes are in good shape. It seems there are always those few who refuse to repair their ball marks on the greens. It's such a shame since it ruins the putt line of all who follow. It was cart path only because of the rain and it's such a long course so it made my round almost a 4 1/2 hour extravaganza. The staff is great, the gas carts run well and are in great shape. They let you take the carts into the parking lot to get your clubs. They have several bathrooms scattered throughout the course. It winds through the large neighborhood and would be extremely difficult to walk. It's scenically beautiful and I saw several deer, rabbits, red tail hawks and squirrels as I motored along the cart path. There are a few holes that are severe doglegs which create a blind shot. There is some water and quite a few fairway bunkers and green side bunkers. There is a lot of elevation change so you get some great vistas but the challenge that goes with it.

WORST course conditions. Horrible conditions from the tee box through the fairway onto the greens. There are too many well-kept courses in the area that I would recommend instead of playing here. In addition, there is a significant amount of sand missing in the sand traps. We were basically hit dirt shots out of the traps. Such a shame they do not care about the course. Management is inconsiderate and does not care about the golfers' input (we've tried multiple times). We can't even grab an edible lunch on the turn; we wouldn't feed what they serve to our dog. Maybe if golfers STOP GOING HERE they will wake up and start taking care of the conditions. It is a challenging course which is why we went back. And please do something about the RESIDENTS who think they can jump on the course whenever they please. Oh yeah, that would require spending money to hire Rangers. We won't be back.

This course is in terrible shape, especially during a time when most courses are looking their very best of the season. The tee boxes are destroyed, the fairways are covered in growth, every surface is hard as stone. The course is very hilly and there are drainage covers sunk into the bottom of deep craters all over the fairways; the course is so hard, balls that land 15+ yards from a cover will roll back and into them. That's just the course...every resident seems to have a cart and they just jump on the course and play a hole. Not single residents, but foursomes that patrol the cart paths looking for some space to squeeze between registered golfers with tee times.Additionally, we saw someone with the refreshment cart once the entire 18 and that was on the first whole.I can't see trying this place again for a few years...it would take two seasons just to repair the neglected turf.

Played the morning of 8/15/20. Tees, fairways, and rough were in pretty decent shape. The greens were AWFUL! They were slow, guessing mainly because of the rain the night before, but my biggest complaint about the greens was all of the patches of dead grass and in some cases hundreds of crab grass roots that were mowed down. For the overall experience, the $78 to play is just too expensive. I couldn't pay the $69 online rate because another in our group booked through Golf Now. It would be a huge undertaking and shut them down for 6 months, but these greens need to be torn out and replaced with the tournament Bermuda or whatever everybody else uses.

I honestly would rather know that holes 13 and 14 are closed when I check in at the clubhouse. So you're charging $70 weekday and only have 16 holes... I was wondering why the parking lot was empty. Last time I play there for sure

As a PGA Professional, I strongly recommend playing this Track. Challenging Layout and consistently good Course Condition. Although we are coming out of a Hot Summer, the Bent Grass greens are healthy and still rolling true. I can't wait to see them in the Fall when they can get them rolling fast again. I rank Carolina Lakes a top 3 best public course in Charlotte area. If you haven't played it or not in awhile, come check it out!

New to the area. I would put the conditions on the same level as private clubs from where I came from in SW Indiana. I absolutely loved this course.

DO NOT waste your money here. They have completely let this course go. I have never played a course in such bad shape and still has the balls to charge a premium rate. The greens are "recovering" per the pro shop is the biggest joke. Literally any and I mean any course in the area is better than this dirt hole.
