Ordered pulled pork and Brunswick stew!Got coleslaw and buns! The stew was great first time trying this one!

Greeted with a wonderful southern smile. Charming establishments with really cute pig decor. And a Tuesday BBQ Plate special. We tried the special and it was a nice deal. The sides were top notch and a good variety to choose from. The BBQ wasn't our favorite. It was pre-sauced and a bit on the salty side. Next time definitely trying the chicken, it looked delicious!!!

Wow. Loved this place. Brisket sandwich, ribs, red slaw, and Mac and cheese were our favorites. Quick and friendly service and a very clean restaurant. Loved it all and wish we lived closer.

Oh BBQ! This is a perfect stop while driving through on the interstate. The portions are generous and the house-made sauces are awesome - especially the cheerwine BBQ sauce. We were excited that we could buy the sauces and take them home. A plus: the platters come with hush puppies automatically so you get to pick two additional sides. Melvin's is a come as you are super casual spot. If you're anywhere near the area, plan a stop - you won't be sorry.

The staff is exceptionally friendly. Could not ask for more. The place is simple but quaint. The food is very good. I got 1lb. of brisket and it was excellent. Lots of smoke flavor and quite tasty. I definitely recommend this spot.

I absolutely love this tucked away secret in Spartanburg at Harrion Circle. The food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is great and always have a smile. If you want some good food with a friendly atmosphere this is the place.

This place was great! Everything we tried we enjoyed! I had the Brisket and Pork combo plate with potato salad bbq beans. Everything was delicious!

We split the ribs and bbq pork dinner with red slaw, fried okra, and hushpuppies. The serving was large-took 2 pictures. Okra was lightly breaded-so good! They said that the onion rings have the same light breading. The red slaw tastes like pepper cabbage-yum! The white slaw is more creamy. The ribs were very meaty. The pork melted in our mouth-we tried the mustard sauce-a bit spicy and very tasty. They had a-lot of to go orders went out. Another customer said they were famous for their chicken. They offer larger orders for parties-did not sell out on July4! SummaryBest BBQ place in Spartanburg so far! Generous portions! Fantastic service!!!

Found this place while on the road and stopped in to try. Ribs were really good. Brisket was rather dry but had a good flavor and was smoked well. Service was quick and friendly. Would stop in again if I'm through the area again.

I walked in and was immediately attended to. My drink was brought within seconds and my order taken promptly. It's a very cute and family friendly place as you would expect for a bbq place is the Carolina's. The food came pretty quickly and is absolutely delicious. I can't decide my favorite sauce but I think it's either what seems like honey mustard or the cheerwine bbq sauce. It's two completely different flavors but they are both very good! I think it just depends on your mood. The brisket did not disappoint. It doesn't need any sauce at all but it does taste good with all of them. If you are thinking of stopping in, I highly recommend it!
