We've enjoyed our dance lessons here. Now we can actually get up and dance at an event and not just hang onto each other and stumble. We've learned so much and now are not going to sit and just watch other people dance. If you've always wanted to learn to dance, get to Fred Astaire!

We have been going to Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Greenville for a couple of months now. Allysa is fantastic. She not only knows her stuff, but she makes it fun, and meets you at your level of expertise and focuses on what you want to get out of the lessons. Many people there seem to be very serious and into competitive dance, but not us. We are only looking to learn to dance a few popular dances so when we go out to social venues, we can dance and look good. Allysa has taken my husband from being a reluctant student to a man who very much enjoys dancing and who looks forward to going to the next class. He's even begun to lead and stay with the beat so I am not tempted to lead! We highly recommend Allysa no matter whether you're a novice like us, Oran experienced competitive dancer.

What a great place! I couldn't dance at all and took the 5 lesson Father /Daughter dance course. It was great! My daughter and I put on a good show at the reception and had a great time. My instructor was Sofia and she is wonderful as are the rest of the instructors there.

If I had limitless money, I would be there every day. The staff at FADS Greenville are top-notch professionals. They are also charming and gifted teachers. Their students consistently win regional and national competitions. The community of students is great, too... you will feel welcomed and encouraged, and you will have a lot of fun.It may seem expensive, but you are paying for 45 minutes of one-on-one coaching from professionals at the very top of their art. There is also, I think, absolutely nothing better for poise, posture, confidence, and how you present yourself to the world in general.

Don't be afraid to give dancing a try with the people at FADS Greenville. The teachers will put you right at ease and the fellow students are very welcoming. We are like family. I have been a student at the studio for over five years and it's changed my life. You will be receiving excellent instruction from some very accomplished dancer-teachers. They work very hard to help you achieve your goals and to also push you further than you think you are capable. Dancing helps you to gain confidence and poise -- no matter if you want to dance socially or competitively, or even bring confidence to your everyday interactions. It's a FUN way to exercise, while also being stimulated mentally and socially.Do yourself a favor and give them a call. Hopefully, I'll see you on the dance floor! :)

I saw an advertisement on television a few years ago about "ballroom" dancing. I noticed it involved Latin dancing. My impression prior to that was that it meant boring old dances. Boy, was I wrong! I called, scheduled an appointment, and met my beautiful instructor for our first dance. She asked me which three dances I wanted to begin learning. I told her I thought the Latin dances were cool. Within months I was dancing those and more. I have learned 11 different dances, which I dance proficiently. I lost 10 pounds and 2 inches off my waist. I own my own business, and am a busy professional. Therefore, getting into the dance studio on Haywood Road in Greenville is something I look forward to every week. The instructors there are some of the best in the world. They are friendly, courteous and professional. Many have competed and won in national championships. Each Thursday night, 30 to 40 students, their guests, and their instructors dance for an hour and a half in an open dance in the studio. This gives each of us the opportunity to dance with dozens of partners to enhance our proficiency, but mostly for fun and entertainment. Joining Fred Astaire in Greenville was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Do yourself a favor, call the studio like I did, and get started. You won't regret it.
