We were in town and decided to do a little shopping and what teenager likes to go shopping so we found this cool little arcade close by that we can pay either $7 for one hour or $12 for the entire day and that's a no-brainer. The entire day is the deal to choose. This time around we got to meet the two owners and they were an absolute pleasure to speak with. Funny enough this is not just for kids. Grown adults will be transported back in time with some of the old arcade games as well as pinball that they have in this cool location. It seems like they had hundreds of games there and all the arcades are in great working condition. Everyone in the arcade younger old was having a great time and this is exactly what we would expect from a small town. What a genius idea for either kids to have fun with their parents or shopping or for the whole family to get together and enjoy a day of gaming and laughs. If you're in the area, we highly recommend you check this place out and if possible, speak with the owners, they're great people.

I love pinball and my kids love video games. If this sounds like you, come check this place out!!Okay - I know it's not The Asheville Pinball Museum (or the Appalachian sister Museum) but it's still a pretty neat place to spend an afternoon. For $6 an hour per person you can play on an hourly basis - otherwise $10 for kids and $12 for grown-ups for all day play. We were there four 4 hours and barely blinked - we were having such a blast! Not a big selection of what I would consider "good" pinball machines - and by that I mean ones that I personally would find appealing to play - that doesn't mean that you wouldn't like them. Probably my favorite was the World Cup Soccer one. Where this place is strong, is on the arcade game side - tons of gun games like Time Crisis, House of the Dead and Area 51. Lots of fighting games too - Rampage, X-Men, Ninja Turtles. There was this really addictive game called Toobin' too. I love free play style on games like these because we actually were able to beat House of the Dead and X-Men without having to spend $20 in quarters!!Star Wars Bathroom, Nintendo Stations, wall of Funko Pops, friendly staff, reasonable prices and lots of fun = pretty cool place!

So many vintage video machines and pinball machines. $12 adult entry allows you to play at your hearts content. This will be a go to place on those not so nice days. Owners seem to really enjoy the gaming industry's and take pride in all their machines. They said they will be constantly expanding as they add more and more games. Stay tuned!

This place is incredible. It's got an incredible selection of new and old pinball games and arcade cabinets, including some rare games like Super Mario Bros pinball. The games, for the most part, are in excellent condition. Buy the wristband for the best value!

I have traveled across NC and SC for vintage arcade pieces to play that I can no longer play here, and Carolina Arcade Museum (in which I'll be referring to as CAM) is one of the best arcades I've ever visited within reasonable distance from my house; about as far as driving from Spartanburg to Greenville without the horrible I-85 traffic. As an adult, $12 gets you a wristband to play all the classic arcade games and pinball tables your heart could desire. The staff is excellent, the environment is family-friendly and they have very strict rules: no beating on their games, no profanity, and finish the game you play until you lose your last life. Plus there are no age-restrictions unlike a lot of those "barcades" in Charlotte that require you to show your ID at the door, etc.I killed time playing Captain America and the Avengers, Maximum Force, Time Crisis 1, Star Wars Trilogy Arcade, and Jurassic Park: The Lost World pinball. They've even got consoles and booths to play. All games are maintained regularly and will rotate around often, so follow them on Facebook for updates.Honestly, if you want a trip down 90's memory lane with well-maintained games and pins, C.A.M. is way worth the drive from Spartanburg or anywhere close to Forest City. Definitely coming back.
