Caribbean Fusion Food

I happen to be riding by and saw this food truck. If you know me you know I'm a sucker for Caribbean food. Listen if you've never almost bitten your fingers off after eating a dish here's your place. The food is Ah-mazjng!! I've eaten here twice and that's not enough. I've had the brown stew chicken, curry chicken and a beef patty. All simply amazing. Not gonna sugarcoat anything it is a bit pricey but we'll worth it!! You better go get you one of these....lol!!

**This is a food truck.**I am a sucker for jerk chicken or pork. Today I attended an event at Sip Co this evening. While walking around looking at the vendor tents I caught a heavenly smoky smell coming from nearby. It was coming from the Caribbean Fusion Food truck. The food truck had smoke easing from the back of the trailer where the jerk chicken was cooking. I ordered the special- a jerk chicken sandwich with a side of chips and a drink. My friend got a Caribbean chicken wrap with chips. I also got an order of sweet plantains as a side. The jerk chicken was flavorful but not as much heat as normal. It had a great smoky flavor. The chicken wrap was good and came with two different flavor sauces. The plantains were delicious but they were stingy with the amount they give you for $3. Overall, our meal was excellent and satisfying. The employees were very nice. It was difficult to hear with the generator running but they somehow got our order correct. They have a 98.5 sanitation grade posted. I hope to dine with them again.

We saw this food truck was visiting our apartment complex and thought we would give a try. So glad we did it was so good. The wings were juicy and the mac and cheese was so creamy. The plantains were like a soft chip. The oxtail was soft and moist. And the rice with the juice from the oxtail set it off. The cabbage was colorful and delicious. The service was nice, friendly and helpful. The sign for the menu was easy to read. The staff wore mask and people were social distancing. If they come back I will try them again. Next time I'm gonna do that Jerk Chicken sandwich. If you get a chance you should try them.

What is up! My QC FOODIES! Now yall know i gotta go hard on this joint! 100% fresh and I mean extremely fresh and hot food. Pulled up to the spot and the grill was hot and there was smoke coming out and I did not forget about the amazing aroma coming out. Great customer service from the chef to the cashier. Food is 100% authentic and fantastic. You can tell they make sure they put everything in their dish. Ps. Make sure you grab a small container of the gravy!

Just ate here near Pineville-Matthews. Delicious, authentic food! The jerk chicken and six love jerk wings had the perfect amount of spice. The rice and peas with curry sauce went perfect with the chicken. Our favorite actually ended up being the egg rolls! Perfect crunch and the mango salsa served with them gives the perfect amount of tang.You can tell that the owners are truly invested in providing a fun atmosphere and delicious product. We will definitely be on the lookout for their truck again!

10/10 the BEST wings I have EVER ate in my life. I got the Double Six meal with some Mac and cheese and plantain. You can dip anything in the sauce under the wings and it's just all around one of the best meals I've had...and I eat wings just about every other day, so for these to be top tier #1 best wings is a BIG DEAL!!

During the Juneteenth festival, I waited almost 30 minutes to order at this food truck, and when I got to the head of the line, they were out of bottled water. And I'm lucky I only wanted jerk chicken, because they also ran out of most of their other menu items.

Was excited about the food but ended up disappointed. It has some potential but overall was somewhat mediocre. Was most excited about the cajun fries but it was just fries with a little seasoning. No jerk meat. No jerk sauce - just fries and they were $6. Some friends had the cabbage and said it wasn't well cooked. They do make the food to order which is nice. I'd be interested in trying again if they switch up some of the recipes.

I have no idea why people have given the food at Caribbean Fusion Food more than one star! The truck was at my apartment complex on our "food truck night". It was TERRIBLE. I am literally sitting here feeling sick! The rice and peas tasted two days old. The curry chicken was EXTRA LIGHT on the curry and dry. The mac and cheese was not "mac'n" or "cheesin" (take a look at the pictures I included). It was dry, the noodles were not sticking together and it tasted a little like old cheese, peanut butter mixed with watered-down bleach and corn starch. GROSS!!I If they were still outside, I would ask for my money back! I have NO IDEA where others who gave them good reviews have eaten before, but they must have NEVER had authentic Jamaican food. OMG. I feel so sick! If I ever see this truck anywhere else, I will quickly walk or drive by.

Great wings! I got the six love with 2 sides. The wings had good spice and were saucy. For my sides I got mac and cheese, and sweet plantains. The Mac and cheese was OK, it wasn't overly seasoned but you aren't coming here for the Mac and cheese. The sweet plantains were really good. Fresh, and caramelized just right! I will definitely visit this food truck again!
