Canopy Cocktail Bar & Garden

This is one of the BEST bars in Charlotte to grab a great cocktail. Their cocktail program is IMMACULATE. You can go in and ask for any profile alcoholic or non alcoholic and they will make it happen! My friend and I went a few weeks ago and Shelby made a great cocktail for us! I prefer to go before it gets super packed and they remove the bar chairs. During the late night and early morning hours they get VERY busy and sometimes will have a line out the door, so be ready for that. It's not super often that I go since it can get a little packed, but when I do, I know the cocktails will be fire.

This is the cutest outdoor bar! The atmosphere is beautiful, unique, and the bartender was amazing. When we stopped by, they had JUST opened so we had the place to ourselves. I bet it gets packed here, though, as the surrounding area is quite busy. We parked at a lot down the street, It's behind the train track so parking could be a little difficult. There seem to be a couple of garages near by, though. For drinks, we had the Three Wiseman and Fizz The Season. Very booze forward but tasty and enjoyable. The bartender was extremely skilled at his art and carefully curated our cocktails. We also had a little photoshoot while here, and it's the perfect spot to do so! I'd love to come back here and try other drinks. Highly recommend!

Really neat place in South End. Easy to miss if you don't know it's there, but very relaxed. Drinks were great, I had a gimlet and it was perfect! Not too strong, but the gin was not overwhelmed either. Bartenders were all super friendly as well.

Cool bar on the Rail Trail with indoor and outdoor seating. There's an awesome two sided fireplace in the lounge area. The bartender made me a custom drink which was pretty good. We came on a Sunday around 8pm and there were just a few people there.

Great ambiance and music, but the drink prices were so shady. Cocktail menu lists pumpkin spice espresso martini for $17, I asked for regular espresso martini and paid $24 for it. Would HIGHLY recommend confirming prices before ordering, this was a horrible surprise to close out the night with a ~$100 tab for 4 drinks.

Nestled nicely in Southend, found this location just from walking around one evening. The outdoor bar and seating is very cozy, meet up with friends after dinner or before heading out somewhere. The indoor bar gave me speakeasy vibes without having to know all the passwords or secret doors. Seating is cozy and comfortable there too. The bartender mentioned that they have several rooms available that can be rented for private events. The drinks were tasty and crafted well. They range from about $13-$16 depending on what you order. They also have a full bar, so of course you can always get your signature drink.

Waited 30 minutes at the bar and was not served. Bartender with painted nails and man bun took 10 min per drink. We left before we got a drink

It was a weird experience. We sat by the fire and needed an extra chair. The server said we could grab one and then some random girl in earmuffs came over and said we needed to move it back. There was maybe ten people in the whole bar. When we asked why she said "you're 60 and acting like 5 year olds" really, just for needing an extra chair? We had seven people paying $15 per drink and we were actually having a good time. The manager came and acknowledged how rude she was but he didn't do anything. He seemed like he didn't want to deal with her. It was pretty disappointing because it could be a nice experience but the service was like they didn't want people there (it was about 5:30). Our server was cool but the earmuff girl said "it's her first day, she doesn't know what she's doing". I wouldn't want to work there and a lot of us won't return. They need to rethink how they treat people.

Had a horrible experience here. Bartender was extremely rude. Truly, the entire staff that night was rude and entitled. I will never go back.

We have been there a few times. Both Thomas and Dave are great. The last time we went was for an invitation only event to help benefit those in Western NC who suffered such great loss from Hurricane Helene. It was such a nice evening hosted by Canopy and Bacardi.
