I typically stay uptown when I go to Charlotte but I wanted a change of scenery, so I chose the Canopy Hilton in Southpark.The lobby has a modern, eclectic vibe with its airy atmosphere and yellow/gold and turquoise accents. This hotel is very clean and bright. The rooms, adorned with charming turquoise accents, are simply adorable. I opted for a one-room suite and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.This spot is within walking distance of so many restaurants. Pleasant stay. Will stay again.

Not the best experience, cold water showers, overall a disappointment . Good location

So, tried to book on ID90 and got to hotel with no confirmation. Michelle (MOD) and Kira were PHENOMENAL! Not only did they match the price but told me how to remedy the situation. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful downtown area! Love it!!! If you're in Charlotte, COME AND STAY HERE!!!! Tell them I sent you!

I debated on my rating and decided on a 3. The hotel is modern, which is always a plus and the room was clean. My issues with the hotel, the guy that checked me in apparently was either having a bad day or hated his job, either way he was my first introduction to canopy Charlotte and I wasn't impressed. My next issue besides the dirty cup under my cabinet was when I attempted to get late check out as a Hilton Diamond and was denied. Now I get it hotels book up and are sometimes full which is what I was told; however, I was able to go online and book a room, so you're not full. In addition 80% of the rooms on my floor were empty. I don't like being fibbed to especially when I put effort into booking at specific hotel's consistently and have had Diamond status for years. The positives are the restaurant and bar staff, thanks Chase Location is great and convenient but the front desk staff absolutely needs some work.

A very nice hotel in Charlotte! I loved the comfortable beds, the very friendly staff, and the good amenities. I didn't like the difficult to open main entrance doors--especially with luggage--and the confusing parking situation. I would definitely stay here again!

Canopy by Hilton is a definitely a 5-star location! I had not known it was located here, but it's VERY modern and sleek! Bright colors, sleek lines...it's a really great hotel and that's just from the entrance and downstairs area. Visited for a work meeting and was pleasantly surprised at the venue. Upset that I didn't get a chance to snap more pics, but that gives me a reason to visit again! LOL!In the lobby area, there are multiple seating areas with an fireplace and modern room dividers. There is also a restaurant and bar/cafe area which is very spacious. Passing that area takes you to the banquet rooms, which are also spacious. They are neutral-colored with multiple, modern chandelier fixtures (not just the typical pot lights). Outside is a patio area with grass-style wall art and backdrops with seating areas for relaxing.It's located in Southpark, behind the Zoe's/Ruth's Chris buildings. Plenty of parking in the adjacent garage and around on the street. They also do valet for guests as well. Staff was awesome and accommodating throughout the visit!I would definitely recommend using Canopy as a venue for an event! I can only imagine that the rooms are consistent with the rest of the hotel and very nice!

I had a two-night reservation with diamond status, but when I arrived at 9:30pm, I had to wait an hour for my room! No eye contact, no apology, no empathy from the front desk when they said they had a bunch of late checkouts. When I went to check out two mornings later at 6am, no one was at the front desk. I found a staff member in their kitchen who told me he couldn't help me and I would just have to wait. When someone did show up at the front desk, once again no eye contact, no apology, no explanation. They looked at their computer the whole time. And - the door into my sleeping room wouldn't close correctly!

The drinks at the bar were amazing! The bed was super comfortable, the hotel in general was clean along with the bathrooms. The complimentary water was good. Staff & waitress were friendly as well & also in a good location. Ruth's Chris steakhouse is also within walking distance! I would stay here again!

Cleaning rooms and replacing items daily (towels, tea bags) non existent, dirty, hairs in thr bathroom sink. Do not recommend
