Cannon Water Adventures

We had a great time. The guys were awesome. Unfortunately a storm rolled in while we were out, and the guy in charge gave us a small refund to adjust for the time lost. We were happy without the adjustment, but the display of terrific customer service and honesty made the experience even better. Lake Norman is beautiful and these guys will be the service we use anytime we're in the area from now on!

Great experience for our first time on Lake Norman. We did a 2 day boat rental, was ready when we arrived and the kids helping us were thorough. Boat was a little "used" but you get what you pay for, the prices were pretty reasonable. Enjoyed checking out the sights and eating lunch waterfront. Boat was key for this visit!

These guys are great! Jacob did my family a solid and went Over and above to ensure we had a great experience on the water. Their location is spot on and a perfectly located to see all of Lake Norman. I can't say enough good things about this crew. Use them you won't be disappointed.

The staff was helpful, friendly & courteous. I failed to make a reservation, my failure, but they tried to accommodate me. It didn't work out for that day. I was so impressed with the atmosphere & staff, I booked a kayak for the next day. I will be returning again & with more friends! Although I didn't get to kayak day 1, I was welcomed to hang on the deck to enjoy my food & beverages. Thank you!

We rented a tandem kayak from Cannon Water Adventures for the afternoon. We reserved online prior and filled out the waiver online prior as well. When we got there, there was a super quick exchange with the lifevests and kayak/paddles. The employee also gave us a quick rundown of how to use the kayak. Very friendly staff with a quick exchange so we got the most out of our reserved time! Definitely recommend!

When it comes to canoeing, kayaking, or boating on Lake Norman, what isn't there to like. I reached Cannon Water Adventures to rent a kayak. However, once I saw they had a class, I opted to take that before my solo adventure. You see, I got hooked on rowing from a Dragon Boat race two years ago. It was past time for me to venture out on my own. After my one-on-one session (no one else signed up for this hour) with Bob, I was on my own. I ventured out for the next hour and loved every minute of it. I practiced the techniques recently learned and also spent some time relishing in the relative peacefulness of the lake in the early morning. One thing I did not practice was getting back on the kayak after a fall. It was a cloudy day with a bit of rain so I will practice this technique on a sunny day. Kayaking is all that I thought it would be and more. I have already made another reservation for a kayak later this week. After that, a friend has offered me the use of her kayak any time as she does not use it often. II plan to wear it out! If you are in the market for a lesson in kayaking (singe or tandem), Cannon is the place to go. It is a family-run business located at the Mountain Creek Marina.

We recently had a large family reunion on Lake Norman with lots of kids and cousins - all ages. We rented paddle boards from Cannon Board and without a doubt, they were a huge hit with the whole family. Stephen delivered and picked up the boards and prices were very reasonable. We rented for 3 days but wish we had rented for the whole week. Was very glad to opt for the delivery/pick up option.

Great SUP gear, the best prices on the lake, and exceptional customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to rent from them again.

I've rented from Cannon Board Co twice now and had great experiences both times. The boards are in excellent shape and feel no different (in my novice opinion) than non-inflatable boards. The boards were delivered on time and we enjoyed chatting with the owner about how he got started with the company. He clearly cares a lot about his customers and their experience, and went so far as to design his own boards so people could have the best experience possible. We'll continue renting from Cannon Board Co. whenever we're in the area!

Great location and great people (and Max the dog adds to the experience!!). We will definitely be back.
