Cabo's Mexican Cuisine And Cantina

We liked Cabo's! The interior is huge with lots of TVs giving it a sports bar feel. Their menu offers Mexican cuisine as well as other Latin American dishes like Lomo Saltado and Cuban sandwiches.This is the closest thing I've found to ACP in Charlotte. I don't know why it is so difficult to find chicken, cheese and rice but it is. Their Pollo con Queso lunch portion was actually huge and very filling! I liked that it came with veggies as well as a side guacamole salad. The menu includes a lot and the portions are big for the price. We both said we would go back!

Nice convenient location. Staff is attentive. Restaurant always clean and flows well. I like th try have regional favorites to experience more Latinx Culture. I love the nachos and fajitas. I've had a burrito but carrots and zucchini is stuffed inside. Usually lots of texture and takes a while to cool down while eating. Waiters can accommodate if you don't want it or less. No issue. Tres Leche, flan, and looks like coco flan/cheesecake available as a few desserts and more. You can order online, by phone, or in person. There's 10 min parking if you can grab a spot but plenty of parking.

Ambience is good - Mexican style decors. Food is ok- we got saltado - steak little tough, not enough flavor but it's ok. We also got the drinks - they are ok too. Of course they serve free nachos and assorted salsas

I really liked this spot. Hidden gem near Rusty Onion on Pineville-Matthews Rd. I got the combo with two beef tacos and a beef enchilada. It was all gone in a matter of minutes. Everything was well coached, well seasoned and full of flavor. Their complimentary chips and salsa were in front of me before I even really sat down. The service was also top notch, super friendly and attentive.

Loved the Mango frozen margaritas. Fast and friendly service. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Two weeks ago on a Saturday night we visited one of our faves from a few years ago...Cabo! The restaurant was pretty busy and lively but there was no wait. We were seated immediately.When the young host led us to our table and we discovered a heap of visible trash, napkins, and food bits underneath it. Instead of sitting down we asked someone to sweep it up, then we took our seats. Once we were finally settled, we decided to order a few drinks for the table. One of them was a specialty spicy martini that was supposed to be a feature. To our disappointment, it had absolutely zero spice. It was basically just ice and juice. I remember the good old days before Covid when this place served the most amazing frozen pina coladas. Unfortunately, those days are long gone. The pina colada we ordered was a complete letdown. In fact, all three drinks were terrible, and we barely managed to drink more than two sips of any of them. We ended up accepting that it was a Saturday night meant for water and good times only. None of the food was good, not even the taco salad, which is usually hard to mess up. The beef in it was more like paste. Hopefully they were just having a really bad night. The next time I spendi $125.00 on dinner and drinks, it definitely won't be here. I can only give it two stars, and those stars are solely for the waiter who provided top-tier service despite the poor quality of the food and drinks.

I've been coming here since it open. I'm usually working in the evening so this is the first taco Tuesday. I've been able to come in a while. Omar is bartending always does an outstanding job. Wants to make sure that you're happy. Lots of cool drink specials. And tacos. Come in and see Omar and get a great margarita

The new owner is absolutely amazing: young, energetic, responsive and hustling hard as is the staff. Food was fresh and plentiful.

I reserved this spot for my sister's surprise birthday party & the service was great & the food was delicious. My sister was very pleased & Cabos is one of her favorite restaurants. The staff Elizabeth, Omar, Laura, Ronald & Arthur all provided excellent service. Thank you Vanessa

The Best! I've been in Charlotte for 30 years. I've followed these guys through different names as they have excelled in business here. Food is exactly what you would expect from The Best!
