"Visiting our son at college and he brought us here as it was the only place he knew of open after 10pm Monday. Fantastic service. Delicious food. Several no meat options, like the veggie quesadilla with cowboy caviar- can't get that just anywhere! Menu is a little pricey, not for the average college student. Quality of the food is outstanding. This may be our spot when we're in town."
"I always find it difficult to find healthy food that's actually good. Flower Child checks all the boxes! It's healthy, and actually feels healthy, it's light, and it has great flavor. The best thing of it all is it has something for everyone! If you go with a group, regardless of any dietary restrictions, this place can't miss!"

"I was randomly craving pizza and found this place. I'm so glad I did. Ordering was super easy. They have a spacious patio for seating and they're situated next to Sea Board, which had a great drink selection. We got wine and beer and enjoyed our pizza right in front of Sea Board. Great experience."
"Mean sandwich, so tasty and worth the drive. I had a hot pastrami sandwich and it was so freshening to have a really classic proper pastrami on marble rye. I felt like I was in a real Jewish NYC Deli there for a second. Atmosphere is about average. Food (Black Angus Pastrami on Marble Rye) is excellent. Service was excellent."
"A pleasant surprise in Concord. I didn't expect to find a Peruvian restaurant when I ran a few errands but when I saw it I had to give it a try. When I walked in you could smell the great rotisserie chicken. The menu options are not impressive yet it has everything you would want for lunch or dinner. The location of the restaurant is also not all that impressive but it is convenient for those who live in the area - easy in and out. The restaurant is more of a fast-food type restaurant. Not very impressive as it is not decorated in any manner; rather plain. I wasn't planning on staying so it was ok for me. You place your order then sit or wait for taking out. I had the chicken and I was not disappointed. It is a nice replacement for Viva Chicken. I really enjoyed it and would recommend you try it."
"Good old fashioned sandwiches and fun takes on baked goods. Grab it to go and head to a nearby park for maximum joy."

We had a great experience at Foothills downtown!! I am here visiting my mom for the holidays and mentioned that I was in the mood to try a beer flight somewhere, so she suggested this place. Needless to say, it was great! We sat in the bar section which had a great vibe. Our server helped me pick out some options for the flight-- they were all amazing!! I tried the Carolina Blonde, Happyum IPA, Jade IPA, and the Dead and Berried brews... great suggestions. My mom got the blueberry lemon martini which was also the perfect blend of sweet and bitter while not being too strong. We ordered the pretzel appetizer and fish and chips, which were both amazing, leaving us with no complaints. Beyond that, our server had exceptional service. He was attentive, took our orders quickly, and made it a point to keep checking back to make sure we were enjoying everything. Everything was great! I will be back the next time I am in town :)

If you are looking for a clean yet flavorful meal this is the place. There are many types of cuisines represented in their menu, the staff is nice and the restaurant is beautiful. I will be back.

The reviews are right. The ordering was effortless. It was served up on time. And the taste - perhaps some of the best pizza we have had.

Fairly priced and great tasting Peruvian(and now Colombian) food.My partner and I came right when they opened so they were still getting things prepped. I loved their chichamorrado drink. I ordered the 1/4 dark meat chicken with black beans and yuca frita(for additional cost) and my partner got the bandeja paisa. The chicharron was so crispy and the carne was smoky and flavorful on the bandeja paisa. The rotisserie chicken was smoky and moist and the sauces paired well with them. My only complaint is the black beans were too watery, I had to fish them out with a fork in their "soup." The staff was friendly and nice. The food came out in a timely manner. A good, quick, inexpensive place for lunch. I will have to try their ceviche in salsa amarilla and arroz chaufa next time.

I don't know how long I've had Bedder Bedder & Moore bookmarked. It's been years. The challenge is that they have a very narrow window of opportunity and I'm just not in LoSo at lunch time. But I managed to make a way and here we are.My order was placed on the app and about 20 minutes later, I popped in to pick it up. Unwrapping back home, a perfect Italian hoagie was there. Just the right balance of ham and salami and pepperoni with provolone, topped with roasted red peppers and LTO and oregano and oil & vinegar. Oh, so much flavor and taste!Served with a small bag of Utz chips and two pickle slices, it was just the lunch I needed. Maybe I won't wait so long to do this again.[Review 1851 of 2024 - 3728 in North Carolina - 22873 overall]

We checked out this 2nd location of Flower Child at this new strip, "The Bowl'" in Ballantyne, Charlotte...quite bustling already! We got there super early for dinner (5:30 pmish?), and there was already a line...busy-busy!! We chose to sit outside on their patio...which turned out to be quite nice.I ordered the Chicken Yakisoba, and my husband got the Chicken Enchilada...and we also shared 2 sides, Broccoli and Mac 'n Cheese. Well, everything was every bit as good as I had anticipated. Truly SO fresh!! All the veggies looked sparkling new, ripe, and freshly cut! I even loved this drink, Watermelon flavored Sangria (?). There were actually quite a few tempting items on the menu...and I found it hard to choose!I would have preferred ordering at the table, but this is a casual eatery where you stand in line, and order at the counter. However, I came knowing that. The thing I found extremely annoying was their food delivery system. We had to walk back to the counter twice to ask about our items! (?!?) They didn't deliver the drinks in a timely manner...and totally forgot the sides! Normally, I would dock a star or two for something like that. But given how new this place is, and how things probably haven't ironed out just yet, I'm going to let it go. The foods were so good...again, SO impeccably fresh, I have to drop 5 stars! We both were impressed with this place, and vowed to return!

Incredible flavors abound at chickorico! The chicken was tender and juicy. I recommend trying the chicken salad and beef empanadas for a delicious lunch if you're looking for a lighter meal.

"This place is one of my favorites in Charlotte. The atmosphere is eclectic and has a cool vibe. The food is off the hook good plenty of amazing options, including excellent vegetarian and vegan options. It's order at the counter so the service is always spot on and the crew that runs the food to the table is very attentive. The only thing missing when I ate there earlier this was heat. It was frigid in there so cold that I had a hard time enjoying my lunch. I inquired as to why it was so cold and the response was "I know it's really strange how cold it is in here. " Everyone in the restaurant was bundled up because it was a pretty cold day in Charlotte not sure what's going on, but I'm not going back until the heat's fixed. The lack of heat is the reason they lost a star."
"The food was delicious and served in a very timely manner! Everyone seemed happy... customers and staff. My chicken, rice and empanada was really good!! empanada. Lovely decorated place."
"Long awaited trip to crisp was extremely disappointing. It's very small inside but they keep the line moving quickly. I ordered the Asian Salad and it was extremely disappointing. Chicken was flavorless and dry. The dressing lacked the punch of flavor this salad really needed. The quantity is plentiful but was left wanting to "doctor it up" somehow because I was hungry."
"Great new spot in uptown for healthy eats! On my first visit, I had the cilantro chicken quinoa bowl but added jalapeños, onions and mushrooms. I'm happy I added the jalapeños especially as I like spice/heat and think the bowl would have been just a little bland without them. Service was super friendly on my visit and all the food was incredibly fresh and colorful! Prices were reasonable. Not much on the menu over $10. I can't wait to get back and try the lavash flat breads. Healthy pizza?! Sign. Me. Up! Again, SO excited to have a spot for fresh, healthy food in uptown. Fun that they offer breakfast in addition to lunch! I hope they do a good enough business to extend their evening hours. (Right now, they close at 5pm. I'd love to see them stay open until 6:30pm or 7:00pm.) It would be so nice to have a healthy option to stop in for a salad, grain bowl or lavash flatbread/wrap before evening shows at Blumenthal."
"Good food and great service....if you are looking for an All you can eat Nigerian place to eat...look no further this is it."
"Great value for the money for the Beef and Lamb Shawarma plate. I got a side of yellow rice and hummus. The hummus came with pita. The first few bites of pita had a drawback taste but it went away. Not sure why it tasted old. I wasn't sure if it was the hummus so I tried it by itself. Anyhow, the rest of the meal tasted good. I was happy they have the iconic whipped garlic. I hope to try the Talapia in Garlic Sauce people are raving about at other locations. The entry and waiting area isn't too appealing but around the corner the dining area is clean and seat cushions compliment the Mediterranean culture. If you like Le Kebab, you'll enjoy this place. They even have Knafeh!"
"I have eaten here & gotten several take out orders. It is a small restaurant with inside, outside & limited bar seating available. The drinks are delicious! My favorite dish is the Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta, it's very flavorful & a generous portion. My friend has ordered the Caribbean Jerk Boneless Wings & enjoyed them every time. The Garlic Parm Fries are also a great appetizer."
"A great little health food spot with very friendly employees. Maybe a hair pricey for the area, but I assume that this area thought it would be more popular.I only got a smoothie this time around, but I'll be back to try some sandwiches and such. They did have some unique smoothie recipe ideas which was a fresh take for me. All of the ingredients looked fresh and all of the employees were more than eager to help with a smiling face.I will note that there were some "fun facts" on the wall that maybe needed some asterisks beside the word "facts". "Apples give you more energy than coffee", I've tried both and I disagree, I guess it depends on your definition of the word energy. "Broccoli contains more protein than steak", no, no it doesn't. Not by weight at least and that is how people would make this comparison. People aren't all that bright these days and don't need iffy "facts" to confuse them. JMHO."
