"The Coterie Concept is such a fun place to grab a glass of wine or take your girlfriends out for a wine tasting night! The space is tiny but so cute and the decorations bring it to life! They have really great wine to chose from and you're right in South End which is within walking distance from so many places! This is a great spot to support a local black-owned business and drink a yummy glass of wine! They have live music and other events from time to time too!"
"Great wine shop! Whether you are stopping for a bottle to take home, or to enjoy here - you can't go wrong. Great prices and wonderful service. Often there is live music on the weekends. Cheers!"
"Updating my review for Petit Phillipe. Since my last review about 2 years ago, I have fallen even more in love with this place!! Everyone is so friendly and knowledgable!Make sure to get on their email list. Each week they send out the winery they are featuring in the flight for the week. They explain the winery, owner, story, and type of wines. Additionally they give the breakdown of the wine flight. We almost always do the wine flight. Additionally they send out wine dinners all the time. They usually partner with Lumiere. We are actually signed up for one next week!!This place continues to be on one of my top favorite places in the city list. Awesome local owners that really care about giving you a great wine experience!"
"Such a hidden gem in the NC vineyard tour! The stories behind the wine and learning some history while trying new wines was an absolute blast. My favorites were 'old dirt road' and 'share cropper's dream' the muscadine wines were fun to try too! Also they have local honey and cute gifts. They have such cute events planned throughout the year, check them out!"
"Beautiful setting and absolutely wonderful & delicious wines ! The sommelier, employees and owners are fabulous & very knowledgeable ! We will be back very soon !"
"Landed a Groupon deal. We were lucky enough to go on a quiet day. We shared a nice bottle of wine and enjoyed the tree top view. Cute little vineyard"
"This bar is open for business during Covid. With the recent mandate, they will eventually close at 11. The owner describes this spot as a socialSpeak easy. Food is not served here, but there is typically a food truck outside. Membership is $10/year and you must show your card. Members Only is the signature drink - champagne concoction served with cotton candy on top. This is a great place to meet up with friends or have a date."
"A small group hosted a wine tasting at The Hidden Bin and it was fantastic. The location next to Table 31 is great for ordering some apps or entrees. We sat in the breezeway between the two spots. There was live music out there and the wine tasting was perfectly balanced and paced. We didn't feel rushed, learned a lot about the wines, and found a few favorites to purchase. They have a great selection of wines ranging from all types and prices. Tables inside and outside. Great prices! Great location! Cheers"
"Excellent customer service and flavorful wines! We visited their beverage truck at the NC State Fairgrounds. The two employees in the truck greeted us and informed us of their business and available products. They offered canned wines, wine slushies, and wine slushy to-go mix. We tasted each of the 4 canned wines and the slushy. I personally liked the blackberry wine best. The slushy was refreshing and sweet, perfect for a NC summer day. The employees were friendly and patient. They answered all of our questions and are clearly passionate about their business. We chose to purchase the refillable slushy cup with $5 refills at any of the events they attend. Later in the day we returned to purchase to-go slushy mix to make in the future. All you do is put it in the freezer! Overall, we had a great experience here and recommend these wines to others!"
"Very busy grand opening. A few home brews and a few guest taps. Several IPAs and sours. Great for summer consumption. We drink mainly porters and stouts. Will revisit as their menu changes. Great outdoor space and loads of free parking. Located right on the soon-to-be bike/hike trail."

This place is a hidden gem - that's not really hidden. It's tucked in the lower level of a building that has a few businesses including Beard Papa'd and Urban Sweets. It's a Black owned wine store that you can also book to host private events - think baby showers and birthday parties. They hosted a mixer - there were about a dozen people there having wine and discussing relationships. It was very chill. I'd definitely go back. The owner said they periodically have live entertainment. The wine selection isn't huge but it's good!

Nothing but good vibes at this cozy little gem. I stumbled across this place searching for a wine tasting yesterday and boy was I in for a treat. I called before I booked the wine tasting online to make sure they had space. I was greeted by the owner via phone and he gave me options in paying for the tasting. Nice, vibes before I arrived. Everything was set up very nice and the host definitely took you on a journey behind each wine tasting. As, you can see we also had a scrumptious piece of strawberry cream cake that was paired with a glass of Tribaut Rose Champagne. I really had a great time. You definitely want to try this spot.

Soooo many wines choices. The employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. I've been to a few wine tastings and they are fun. Now... the chocolate shop inside petit Philippe is called 20 degrees... they have the best chocolates in Charlotte. I often pick up a mixed box and indulge.

Family owned and run vineyard off the beaten path that is a must-see. We did a tasting for $12 and were able to sample all 9 wines! The owners behind the bar take time to explain each wine and share their story. I enjoy a nice glass of wine but usually pick a sweeter Moscato type wine, but I liked every single one of their wines. Normally, I found dry to tart, but these dry wines had such delicious, crisp flavors, I loved them. My personal favorite was the blackberry wine with Sanctuary a close second. In short, no matter what wine you get, you can't go wrong. This is a beautiful property. You can sit in a rocking chair and look out to the vineyard, the screened in porch, or grab a seat in the tasting room.

We visited this winery on April 16th and will definitely return. The wines were excellent - we love dry reds and Curan Alexander doesn't disappoint. Rita was an excellent host. We arrived early on Saturday afternoon, an hour before the posted opening time, but Rita welcomed us anyway and was extremely friendly and knowlegeable.. if you go, take time to walk the grounds. The family has gone to great effort to restore the property, and has placed markers of historical significance throughout the property. It was a great experience.

Stumbled upon this spot prior to getting Pho. The gentleman that helped me KNEW his wine. Tons of options by the glass plus more than you can imagine to buy. Great WI-FI, great service, quiet (at the time I was there to work) place.

"Okay, this a great place to socialize and sip on some nice wines. Covid did slow things down a bit, but they are gearing back up according to the owner, and will be having their wonderful tasting events as well an many others events soon. They have a good selection of wines, and try to keep a balance between some of the finer selections and some more modestly priced wines. Fo someone like myself, who worked in the wine world for years in both Sonoma and Napa, I can tell you there is a wine here for everyone. Folks around these parts may prefer sweeter and often less complex wines and this shop tries to keep wines that appeal to those taste buds. But if your liking is a big bold Cabernet with tannins they got them too. And their wines from other parts of the world are fun to dive intones well. The other thing I can attest to is that they go out of their way to give great deals on even the expensive bottles. It's a difficult business, trust me, and if the spendy stuff doesn't move it wont keep the lights on and they seem well aware of this and accommodate their patrons wallets as well as tastes. But best of all they are extremely helpful and downright delightful to be around. When you visit here you will never feel like you are in a store...but more like you are in somebodies home who happens to sell wine! Oh and I almost forgot, we just joined their wine club. Yes, they have that too and events for members. Bottom line, if you want great wines, a friendly place to make new friends and you don't want to feel like your credit card just caught fire....this is the place."
"I stopped in while waiting on my take-out order from Harvey's. B Squared is located downstairs from Harveys and they share owners. This is a tasting room/bar serving wine and beer. I saw two hard ciders of interest, Apple Strawberry and Apple Blackberry. Being a Blackberry lover, I had to sample it. I enjoyed the flavors of it and decided to take home a four-pack, two of each. Single bottles were $4 each with a discount on multiple purchases."
"Catawba farms was a quaint and overall pleasant experience. I will say that prior to arrival, I spent quite a bit of time trying to scheduled a group of 12 for a wine tasting. I called over and over and kept being told I would get a call back from the owner. Then when I put a message on the Facebook page the day before the event in a last ditched effort, I got the 'why are you putting us on blast' treatment. Even though I was pretty polite about it. The owner who gave the wine tasting and who I also talked to on the phone was a little 'eeyore' like and not the most upbeat during our tasting. The wines were a mixed variety. Some were delicious (I loved the cabernet) and some were not very enjoyable at all. They did have muscadine wines which is a little off the beaten path and added to the variety of the spread. Alot of the ladies liked the peach flavored wine and also the puleezling (reisling). The farm area was adorable. There were chickens, pigs, and horses. The cover patio area was very tasteful and rustic chic. I'd definitely recommend this place for special events and live music if you are local to the area. The other staff is very pleasant. Much more so then the owner in my opinion. My group did have a good time and enjoyed their souvenir wine glasses very much."
"Dog friendly, absolutely beautiful place. The wines are good for the area. Just a wonderful friendly comfortable spot. A must stop to relax on the back patio"
"Great sweet wines. The staff is very nice. Love to sit outside and Fo the wine tasting. Very cheap prices."
"Wine was worthy of the drive . View even more ! What a lovely place ! Food was good but just normal bar food . Staff was amazing and very helpful!"
"Awesome wine tasting and dining experience. They have a wide variety of wines and the food from appetizer to dessert can't say enough good things. The service was also outstanding. The Salmon dip is excellent. It is fresh salmon. The dip made at the restaurant, great flavor. It comes with toasted baguettes a marriage made in heaven. Very filling. The Burntshirt salad with the vinaigrette was delish. Fresh crispy and the vinaigrette was light, not too sweet just perfect, large portion. The fish and chips, very flavorful & crispy the potato wedges are seasoned they were excellent. Couldn't stop eating them. The Burntshirt burger a must try! Juicy and full of flavor, comes with potato wedges. The white chocolate bread pudding was absolutely delicious! Not to sweet not to bland. Huge portion but we finished it all. That's how good it was!! BTW we also enjoyed their wines. I would highly recommend them and whenever we're back in the are we will return"
"What an awesome place in ft mill. Music, trivia, Brunch, Spacious. Aisle spot to meet friends. Super friendly staff. And great food!"
"Great, low-key place to either grab a bottle of wine to go or have a glass with friends. Great service. They have a few snacks available for purchase. Dog-friendly! Will definitely return"
"This vineyard is very beautiful. The inside of the tasting room is pristine, comfortable, and cute. They have an outside patio area that's covered in the back. It's gorgeous. It's so relaxing to sit back there and have a glass of wine. The owner did my tasting and you can tell he loves what he does. He's so nice to talk to. I enjoyed the tasting a lot. They have some great and unique wines. Especially some of the muscadine was not what I was expecting and worth a try. Gorgeous property!!"
"Kurt is great as is the rest of his staff great cozy spot to grab a drink if you are looking for great beer and wine. Also a good place to stock your bar or grab a gift on the way to a party. They even have gift bags for wine if you are short on time! Small snacks if you need one and a big cozy couch to hang out on. Live music sometimes too!"
"What a wonderful bucket list item right in my own backyard. Lastnight I had the pleasure of having a 4 course dinner with wine pairing in a local vineyard in Concord,NC. The dinner was Autumn/Fall inspired by Chef Treasure Williams and all the wines were from Dover Vineyards. The wines were available for purchase that very night. The food was amazing..the chef out did herself. Her pumpkin tiramisu was the stuff that dreams are made of. As for the wine my table mates and I all loved Cyrils Blend ($30) and the Mellifera ($60). The Cyrils Blend reminded me of a juicy balanced Argentinian wine and the Mellifera is a late harvest wine which has a sweet dessert taste."
"Lovely family run business with an extraordinary and eclectic variety of wines from around the world. Great price points, great, friendly service and an amazing selection of wines "on tap" that allows one to sample some high end wines at a very reasonable price point."
"We visited this AMAZING vineyard and tasting room on a Saturday afternoon. Jamie and Tracy are so kind and authentic. The wines were great and the pear wine slushy was perfect for a summertime treat. The property is peaceful, beautiful and natural. This place would be perfect for a wedding and reception, bridal shower, small family reunion etc. make time to visited on a Saturday or Sunday or book for a special occasion! Can't wait to go back!"
