"Wanted something different for lunch and Banh Mi Brothers had a great solution to my craving. Ordered the Porchetta - Heo Quay at the counterand about 7-10 minutes later they brought the sander to my table. The bread can really hold up to the meat and sauce. The meat itself was flavorful. The kimchi provided a cool, crispy contrast to the meat and bread. Put it all together and there's a lot going on in this sandwich!There are several tables inside and even a few on the patio m. With the quick service this could easily be a go-to for a quicker, tasty lunch."

"Great spot worth making an effort to seek out. I finally got down there to try the roast pork belly they've introduced recently. It's available in banh mi fork or by the pound. I got the banh mi. Absolutely incredible. Have had the grilled pork previously and that is awesome, too. They have other Vietnamese delicacies and treats available--iced coffee is delicious and they also have some boba drinks. People there are fantastic, as well. "We stumbled into Be's Noodles on a whim one Saturday afternoon and I'm so glad we did! We got chicken pho, beef pho, and a lemongrass bahn mi to share. The bahn mi sandwich was incredible! The meat was packed with flavor and delivered a sort of spicy/sweet experience. The pickled veggies on top of the sandwich added a fresh crunch that I kept going back for. I'm not a big pho person but this broth was the most flavorful and savory that I've had in recent memory. The chicken in my pho was overcooked and chewy but other than that, everything was really tasty! The pho portion is huge and we both left with leftovers. The bahn mi was about the size of a footlong sub so I don't think I could have finished one by myself. We want to go back and try some of their appetizers!"

Their broth is phenomenal - both depth and flavor. The meat is surprisingly tender and delicious. Portion sizes are good. Service is usually quick, with the exception of my last visit. I have been disappointed by many places in Charlotte for pho, but this place does it right. Best pho in Charlotte! Highly recommend!"

"I'm almost always craving Pho only this time I wasn't near my usual spot so I gave this place a try. I was pleasantly surprised, the food was great. Sometimes places can skimp on the seafood especially shrimp but I kept finding pieces when I thought I had eaten them all. The server was great, and patient with my son trying to order his specific order of nuggets with a side of ketchup . Their cocktails are pretty good too. I can't remember what I got because I asked the server for his recommendation but I know it was a margarita. There were other families there and I expected it to be loud and overwhelming but it wasn't at all. There's enough space between everyone that you don't feel on top of the other tables. I'll definitely go back if I'm in the area."

"Love their vermicelli entrees. Excellent portions which makes the price fair. I always get combination plate and they didn't mind me substitute the meatball for extra pork. I tried someone different tonight and got Mongolian Beef from the Chinese section of the menu. It was spicy and the beef a little tough but edible. I didn't realize it on the menu but the text is in red but a bit spicy than I'm use to. Mustard sauce spicy. It's great they had Chinese egg rolls and they are huge. The service is attentive and fast. I made my order quick tonight and they were busy but it didn't take long at all."

"Preface, we've ordered take out from here 3x. This is our first time dining in. When we arrived, we were greeted and seated immediately. There was a big dinner party next to us and the waiter informed us he can put in our order when we are ready because it will take a little more time due to the party. I was craving Thai food because of their bold, deep, savory and spicy flavors. We ordered dishes from the menu that we have not had before and let me tell you it did not disappoint. We ordered the Rice n Spice wings, Som Tom with Crab (Spicy), Roasted Duck Curry, and the Shaking Beef. Dinner was delicious and every bite was sooooooooooo good!!!! If you're in the mood for Thai food this is the spot!!"

It's a real hidden gem--nothing fancy, just a cozy, authentic spot that feels very much like a classic Asian eatery. You seat yourself, and the staff brings water to your table.I ordered the Pho Dac Biet, Goi Cuon (fresh shrimp rolls), Goi Cuon Dau Hu (fresh tofu rolls), and Tau Hu Xao Xa Ot (tofu with lemongrass and hot pepper). Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The pho had a rich broth with generous portions of meat, and the rolls were light and refreshing. Cannot forget the peanut sauce, it brings a lot to the rolls. I absolutely love the way that they fry their tofu. It is DELICIOUS! The spring rolls, vegan or not, are definitely worth the price and the very first thing I would suggest any new customer try! Their bubble tea is frozen, more like a smoothie, but the taro is amazing! The waiters are so prompt, patient and friendly. The atmosphere is casual, and the pricing is very good even in today's economy. Plus, they have take out and a drive thru! Closed on Tuesdays! Vietnamese cuisine is not for everyone, as it has a very unique flavor, but if you're a fan of Pho or anything else- you must try Saigon Garden! Ps. It's a great addition to the area and just minutes from Birkdale Village. The restaurant is spacious with murals throughout. They have so many options on their menu - appetizers, soups and salads, sushi, ramen, pho and hibachi and a kids menu. They also have a great lunch menu with combos and specials to choose from!My favorites were the Spicy Dynamite Mussels, the Tonkotsu Black Ramen, the Volcano Roll sushi and the sashimi spread! The flavor was very good.... but not as good as Lang Van. The strawberry boba milk tea was the best part of the meal. So much flavor ! I also got a chicken and rice dish. Wowza, this was unexpectedly spicy. I love spicy food, so not a problem for me. However, for other folks, be warned. The chicken was dark meat. Both items had large portions. The menu looks interesting and I'd love to return and try out more items. I will definately be back !"

"My wife and I got there at 5:15 Friday pm. Third couple to be sat down. Ordered within 10 mins. 2 sushi rolls and a order of Crab Rangoon. An hour and ten minutes later, the rolls and Rangoon come out. Food was good. But not worth the wait. No communication from staff the entire time we were waiting to explain why the wait was so long, or anything. And they don't serve alcohol! If you are going to make someone wait that long, the least you could do is keep them happy with some alcohol while they wait. And there's a Mexican restaurant next door that does, so I know it's not due to their location. The napkin holders said they had all kinds of beer and wine, so those were evidently bought off of ebay or taken from a previous restaurant that did serve alcohol and they were too lazy too remove them before putting them out. Not very special of an atmosphere either and the service was non existent. Definitely need to step up their game and they could be a lot better. Don't let complacency sit in."

"I think Lula Banh Mi and Pho recently opened the Arboretum Shopping Center. Compared to the original Lula Banh Mi and Bakery, this one offers noodle soups, which is really nice! I had heard a lot of good things about Lula in terms of their banh mi, but I never tried it until recently and I am glad that I did. The restaurant itself is a decent size and there are several tables and chairs for people with different group sizes to come and dine-in. The service was good and quick, I did not think that my food took too long to come out. I ordered the Lychee Fruit Tea at regular ice levels and 75% sugar levels. I am glad that I lessened the sugar level because I thought that my drink tasted pretty good. I could taste the tea and the lychee flavor and it worked well together. I also got the Crispy Pork Belly Banh Mi. Usually, I go for cold cuts but I was intrigued by this combination. I really liked the taste of the pork belly (which was very crispy) with the sandwich itself. I also liked the pickled daikon and carrots, which I feel help carry a banh mi. My only complaint is that I wish there was more aioli in the banh mi that I got as it felt a bit dry, especially with the crispy pork belly itself being the main star of the sandwich. I split the Egg Rolls and Chicken Wings with my friends which were both yummy! The Egg Rolls were perfectly hot and crispy and the house fish sauce paired well with it. The Chicken Wings were really juicy and crispy, which I liked dipping into the sweet chili sauce. I would come here next time to try another banh mi, perhaps a cold cut, to really test which restaurant has the best banh mi, haha, and to try their noodle soups. But I think everyone should definitely check this new spot out! There is a lot of good food on the menu."

I was tempted to give 3 stars but recognize that, at this type of place, you need to set your expectations appropriately. It's a very casual, almost street food like, atmosphere with Keno papers on each table and overworked speakers blaring unusual soundtracks sometimes consisting of just sound effects of fireworks. But the employees were nice and the pho was good. Definitely prefer Pho Hoa across the street for pho, but I'd like to come back here again for the banh mi."
