"This is the OG location as the server put it and I've passed it so many times but never visited. This spot is very quaint and intimate and romantic. It can be a girls night out or a hot date and night cap. Ordered the olives and chips and everything is shareable over either wine or cocktails. They have been around a long time so the ambiance and service reflects that. We were immediately greeted and did not need reservations this particular evening so we were seated immediately. Spacious so you're not in your neighbors convo. Will return for sure."

"Was able to attend an event here and had a solid overall experience. Considering the full private room, the servers did a great job of getting orders and serving food fast and efficiently, and without making mistakes (which was impressive as people came in at different times). I got a ceasar salad, shared a steak and salmon plate with my fiance, and tried the chocolate tarte and dulce de leche blondie for dessert. The highlights for me were the steak and salmon, which were both perfectly cooked. the steak literally melted in my mouth. The chocolate tarte was also delicious. However, the ceasar salad was a little boring, and the sides for the main plates were just mashed potatoes and literally three asparagus all piled together. That being said, if you're looking for a really good steak, you'll get one here. And while I didn't get to try a cocktail this trip, the menu options looked awesome and I would definitely come back for a nice drink."
"We have frequented Mambo since they opened in their first location. We haved moved to another state but always make sure to visit while in town. They offer a full bar. Their mojitos are a favorite! The staff and owners are amazing. A family dining feeling. The smells are mouth watering. You can't go wrong with ropa vieja. It is like a stew your Grandma would serve you. My absolute FAVORITE is yuca con mojo. The yuca texture is just right, not mushy. The mojo flavor and fresh garlic; chef's kiss. A must try when in Salisbury."
"This restaurant was unexpectedly amazing!! I'm traveling from Los Angeles (and I almost never leave Yelp reviews), and I didn't expect to have such great food! Great service also! We sat at the bar and could see the chef preparing our food, it was cool!Crispy pork belly, mussels, oxtail empanadas, braised lamb shank and sangria"
"The elevator was broken so 3 flights of stairs isn't a huge deal but it looked like it was deterring other people from following us down the hallway to the stairwell. The climb was so worth it that we went back two more times during our weekend getaway from Atlanta! The bartenders were all so kind and professional, and the ambiance is seriously awesome. The bathrooms were clean, and the whole vibe was just fun and youthful (I'm only the former.)"

Everything I had here was excellent!! Not one thing I didn't enjoy. The soft, dim atmosphere makes for a good romantic evening or a girls night out or even a date for one. I loved loved loved our waiter. He was the highlight of the night. He exuded joy and was absolutely hilarious. He made sure we had everything we needed and took such good care of us. We ordered a lot of food and nothing was leftover. From the brussel sprouts, to the feta dip with pita bread. Everything was so good! Make your reservation and go. You won't regret it!

After trudging out to Ballantyne to see what was going on at the new IKEA Plan and Pick Up Point, we crossed the street for a relaxing adult beverage. We were warmly welcomed on this Sunday afternoon with multiple football games on their overhead televisions.A beer for me and a mocktail for Mrs. K. which we enjoyed with their baked brie. This was a really nicely presented plate with a wheel of cheese that held up nicely alongside a sliced apple with candied pecans drizzled in honey. While the toast points with it were nice, they were a bit crumbly and a small loaf of French bread might have gone better.Overall, we had a very pleasant time at Queen City and look forward to returning. As well, they're on the Delta Airlines Dining Rewards so I earned some bonus points![Review 83 of 2025 - 4058 in North Carolina - 23651 overall]

I'd never been here but had a gift card to Indigo Road Hospitality group restaurants. It was Queens Feast 1/2025, so no better time to check out this hip, intimate, but yet classic upscale vibe steakhouse. Our reservation was for 2ppl at 6:30 pm on Sunday, the last day of Queens Feast and throughout the evening it got pretty busy. It's not super fancy but not casual. The atmosphere is dark and intimate, deff good for a date night. However, there were families & groups of ladies dining, and a 70th birthday dinner in their private dining room. Our server, April was fantastic and super cool! We ordered a bottle of Robert Hall Cab and it was good! For the price point, I've learned it's more economical to get a bottle of wine than individual glasses or cocktails which were $16-22 each. They also have a book of more expansive wine options to choose from on the higher end. I ordered the Oysters Rockefeller for my appetizer, it came with 2. It was my first time having them and they were tasty. For my entree I had the Surf and Turf, which was a 6oz CAB bistro steak and 3 grilled shrimp. It was delicious but the portion was not what I was expecting and it didn't come with a side or accompaniment like some of the others entrees did. So I ordered the Mac & Cheese and it was sooo good, creamy and cheesy! For dessert I selected the Dulce de Leche Cheesecake which was delicious. My husband had the CAB meatballs w/polenta appetizer which I sampled and I wish I had gotten them! His entree was the Steak Frites. His steak was the same CAB bistro I had... but those herb & truffles frites were the best I've had: the perfect crisp! The Dark Chocolate Torte was the dessert he chose and it was too rich for him, but I enjoyed the dense dark chocolate and chocolate crumb crust. I would return and check out Oak Steakhouse for a special occasion or Queens Feast again. Maybe the lunch menu has some different & budget friendly options to checkout as well.

Mambo Grill & Tapas is goes to extraordinary lengths to transport you right into the heart of Cuba with its colorful, festive atmosphere and its flavorful food. I came with a Cuban friend, who assured me that the flavors here are as close to authentic Cuban as you could get. Everything was savory and aromatic. Service was very cordial. While it's got good seating accommodations, it can still be considered a divey restaurant. FYI If you come during the busy hours and are stuck behind a large party, you may have to wait a while for your seats and food, so do be cautious about that when deciding a time to eat here.

Elevated tapas. Alice was very nice and helpful explaining everything. They have two ipa's on draft to choose from. Shrimp had a great grilled flavor and the corn salad was refreshing. Croquettes had a nice sweet and salty dimension and the homemade dipping sauce was on point. Short ribs were fall off the bone tender and the sauce that came with them was a perfect complement. Only four stars because it was a bit pricey for tapas.

We came for happy hour. Half off wine and whiskys (that are under $20). Service was very friendly. Ambiance was nice, but the men's restroom is a bit of a mess (at the time of posting, there was graffiti on the wall and the faucet was ripped out of the sink). It was chilly yesterday, but there is outside seating. I am sure that this place is hopping when it's nice outside. Cool spot to check out in DT Greenville.

We were staying at the hotel for one night where Nine & Fettle is located and decided on a nightcap in the bar. It's a nicely designed boutique-y space that matches the overall flare of the hotel. We were just looking for drinks and their cocktails looked pretty fabulous. Watching the bartender actually make them to was a pretty fun production, especially when he got into double-handed shaking mode. The drinks we got were okay. We selected the Pirate Jenny IV and the Down But Nut Out cocktails. Both were beautiful to look at, but not sweet at all and a little hard to drink. I'm not a fan of an overly sweet cocktail but both of these lacked any kind of sweet element to balance out the other flavors and make them go down a little more easily. There are also many other cocktails we could have chosen so it's possible others have a little bit more balanced flavor profile. Kudos also to them for having a "mocktails" section so anyone who doesn't drink can feel included in the fun.Although we didn't eat anything I loved that their food menu not only had plenty of options for vegetarians and gluten-free diners and those items are prominently labeled as such. (This was just the bar menu too...there are more such options don't the main dinner menu.)Not sure if this place is a destination on its own, but you'll do well if you're staying at the hotel to stop in for a meal, snack or drink.

"Cute breakfast spot in the Canopy by Hilton. Very contemporary. Had some coffee and a scone. The restaurant provides sitdown service as well as a grab and go bar. It's very well lit, making it very easy to do a little work. They also offered dinner. Positive experience. They are not open for lunch."
"Well deserved 5 star review...which I rarely give. My husband and I stopped in for drinks after dinner one evening. They identify as a pre-prohibition speakeasy. It's small, intimate and well appointed with a gorgeous bar. The menu is seasonal and features small plates, desserts, classic (era-appropriate) drinks, and house drinks - modern take on the classics. Sit at the bar the first time you visit to watch the bar tenders work their magic. They have all sorts of bottles with syrups and essences and even use real egg white for frothy drinks. If you are looking for super sweet martinis or other drinks, this is not the place for you. They don't make anything super sweet and will tell you as much. Try their version of an espresso drink - which actually contains espresso and is definitely unique. The French75 is divine. Although we didn't have any, the small plates looked amazing. I'm excited to go back and try them. The creme brûlée is fantastic and perfect for sharing. The service was flawless and the bar tenders are very knowledgeable and enjoy sharing. Hint: For $8, you can "add a round for the kitchen staff" to your tab in support. This place is a hidden gem in downtown Greenville - I'm hoping it stays that way!"
"Such a nice and inviting ambience. I could hear the music from the stairs. It was sorta hard to locate once I parked but I was sooo ready for the live music. The bartender was so nice and personable. We were there to celebrate my co-workers birthday. The food was great and it was just enough food where I wasn't full but it was filling. The band was awesome! The blue lighting and the small venue made it very intimate. The band engaged the audience the entire time. I loved it. I plan on going back next week."
"Came in with some friends to grab some drinks and a little snack before we went off to grab dinner. My friend had recently just visited Oak & Honey - she noticed that the menu had changed (which we confirmed and it did!) They have a new chef!My friends got the blood Orange spirtz and I got the Honey I'll Be Home Late. Both drinks were good, but they went down pretty fast! I am curious to try their margarita sometime. It's a very beautiful restaurant/bar. I love the seating and the decor on the inside. It seems like a great place to get the girls together to have some drinks. The bartenders were very nice and friendly! You can sit anywhere you want and you order up at the bar. I think this place is in a great location & would come back again to try some of their food. We did get the truffle fries with the aioli dip - delicious but definitely pricey! You will spend a chunk of change!"
"The servers seemed as if they hate their job. The shrimp and grits were not tasteful. The musicWas great and the hookah was great."
"I'm not sure what has taken me so long to write this review as we have been coming to Kid Cashew for a couple of years now, with our most recent visit, a couple weeks ago. What we love:*Baked Spinach and Feta Dip*Meatball Trio*Cast Iron Mac and Cheese*Lamb Burger*Rotisserie Chicken*Croque-Madame Sandwich - only offered at brunchWhat we dislike:*Service is and always has been chaotic with food. We always order a lot, and meals and shareable plates always comes sporadically. Since I usually go with my husband, it's not the biggest deal since we eat off of all the plates. However, to have one meal come, then eventually another, then eventually another, and so on, it's just feels chaotic with all of the constant interruptions. We ordered 7 items this last visit, and it was 7 interruptions within a 10-15 minute window. If they could fix this to serve everything together, or have most everything served together, I would be happy to give Kid Cashew 5 stars.*Prices on website are outdated and incorrect. For example, one item we ordered is $8.95 on the website, but the price at the restaurant is $11.95. I definitely recommend Kid Cashew as they have some excellent food options. Just know to go early, as it can get very busy quickly. As a plus, they are dog friendly on the patio!"
