"Had a fantastic experience at Capital Grille in Charlotte. My husband and I were celebrating our 3rd Anniversary and wanted a romantic evening out. C.G. did not disappoint! Made a reservation at 7. They called us a couple days ahead to verify reservation, asked if it was a special occasion, and explained their dress code, and that valet parking was available. We arrived a bit early and had a delicious champagne cocktail at the bar. Friendly bartenders and guests surrounded us. Very nice ambience. We were seated at our table in a timely manner. Service was excellent. I ordered the Filet with the Roasted Beet and Goat Cheese Salad, both were out of this world! My husband had the Bone-In Ribeye and New England Clam Chowder. He raved about both. Two things were less than perfect...our table was very wide and we were sitting across from each other. Made it very difficult to talk quietly to each other. The other thing we noticed was the dress code was not being adhered to by several of the guests. Thank you for making our anniversary so special!"
"We were greeted with "Happy Birthday!" at least three times. (It was Sydney's birthday!) We were seated in a beautifully adorned little cozy box/private area. The drinks were wonderful, I got a No-jito (Non-alcoholic Mojito.) Our server Shervon was amazing! Knowledgeable and attentive! The steak and potatoes blew me away! It was absolutely delicious ! It was AMAZING!!! Totally Recommend! Xo, A+S"

"My family brought me here for my birthday. The atmosphere was festive it was a few days before Christmas. Before we were seated they decorated the table and left a birthday card I ordered the steak tartare which was excellent they make it table side my family were not fans of raw steak but tired it a they were amazed at how good it tasted. My entree was the seafood tower which more like a seafood loft but all of it was very good quality seafood. I would definitely eat here again if I win the lottery."
"My wife and I are in town for a wedding and house shopping. This was our first visit. We stopped in early afternoon to make reservations for dinner and the hostess was very helpful. Our server was excellent I wish I remembered his name. My family and I split a meat and cheese board which was excellent. I had the Rueben. I am very particular about my Rueben's but I have to say it was one of the best I've ever had. My step son had the fried chicken and my wife had the scallops. They said their dishes were also top notch. We will definitely be back!"
"We had an amazing meal at Chillfire. The service was great from the moment we entered until we left. Especially our waiter. The food came out fast and was delicious. The restaurant was beautiful. Restrooms were clean. Everything was perfect. I was afraid there would be a long wait given it was a weekend evening, but the restaurant is much bigger than it looks from the outside. There were plenty of available tables and staff, even at 6 pm on a Saturday. We had the poutine appetizer which was very good. It was piled high with toppings and piping hot. I was a bit surprised that the fries seemed more like McDonald's fries than the ones cut in house but they were cooked nice and crispy and worked well with the gravy. For entrees I ordered the Oak Island, which was a 6 oz filet with scallops and side of creamed spinach. My husband ordered the prime rib that was one of the specials that day. He was going to order the queen cut but the waiter said it was only $4 difference for the king, so why not go big. He chose the potato hash as his side. Everything was delicious! The scallops were cooked perfectly, as was the filet. It had a perfect sear while still being a perfect medium through the center. The bacon vinaigrette was a perfect sauce, sweeter than I expected from a vinaigrette which I thought complimented the scallops well. The prime rib was a huge cut and cooked to be a perfect rare. I'm not usually one to order rare myself but being prime rib, it seems to be the way to go. I tried a few bites and it was very tasty. Especially with the au jus to dip it in. The potato hash was a great choice for fhe. The sauce was so creamy and the portion was huge. We both left miserably full but enjoyed every minute of it. I'm already planning my return trip!"
"First time but not the last time I'll be visiting. We attended on a Saturday, and we were promptly seated. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance had low lighting & it's very romantic. The drinks we're delicious & the alcohol was nicely distributed .We started with the seafood tower, crabcakes & stuffed mushrooms. Follow up by the Lobster tails ,Tomahawk steak, mashed potatoes & creamed spinach. 5 stars all around. Food was presented timely, it was hot & delicious."
"The porterhouse steak here is a meat lover's dream. It's cooked to perfection with a smoky char on the outside and a tender interior. The creamy spinach on the side was the perfect pairing."
"Red rocks is great. Our personal favorite for a nice sit down in Huntersville. The Sesame Tuna is fantastic. I always sub the risotto for mashed potatoes."
"My fiancé's grandpa is a regular patron at Red Rocks so anytime we are in town to visit we always make time to go to Red Rocks (they even have a burger named after him!) The servers are always so kind and friendly, and the ambiance is great for a family outing. We came in for brunch/lunch and we had a lovely time!"
"Was able to attend an event here and had a solid overall experience. Considering the full private room, the servers did a great job of getting orders and serving food fast and efficiently, and without making mistakes (which was impressive as people came in at different times). I got a ceasar salad, shared a steak and salmon plate with my fiance, and tried the chocolate tarte and dulce de leche blondie for dessert. The highlights for me were the steak and salmon, which were both perfectly cooked. the steak literally melted in my mouth. The chocolate tarte was also delicious. However, the ceasar salad was a little boring, and the sides for the main plates were just mashed potatoes and literally three asparagus all piled together. That being said, if you're looking for a really good steak, you'll get one here. And while I didn't get to try a cocktail this trip, the menu options looked awesome and I would definitely come back for a nice drink."
"Came for a dinner and was very impressed with the space inside. We were greeted and promptly seated. We got wings as an app and they were crispy and delicious. As my main I got the shrimp and grits per recommendation of the server and I am glad I did. The grits were creamy and the dish as a whole was absolutely amazing. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the corn and crunch was a perfect addition. Overall the food was superb and fantastic service."
"Service at the bar was TOP TIER! I went in alone and sat at the bar; I was looking for small bites and good beverage... Opted for their Wagyu Carpaccio and Oysters. Both were FABULOUS! The oysters came with an assortment of accouterments, including a pomegranate vinaigrette, traditional cocktail sauce, and shaved horseradish ice ( this was my favorite of the 3). I washed it all down with a double Casamigos...Highly recommend this restaurant for a great atmosphere and food!"

The service was amazing. The food did take a while to come out but when it did it was impeccable. The salmon had the most crispy texture on top and was moist and juicy in the inside. The calamari was also good. Our service Nicole was so kind and knowledgeable regarding the generous pour wine selection. All of the wines that were sampled paired well with our dishes. The restaurant was a little loud but it was a Friday night .

So there is a lot to unpack here especially having dinner on a jammed Saturday night in January. The four of us arrived about 20 minutes early of our reservation so to pass the time of course we went to the bar to order a round of drinks. Kudos to the bartender who came around the bar to us to take our order. That was a nice touch and start to the evening. After 20 minutes or so (again we were early), we were seated in the back area. It was a secluded area that allowed the four of us to have a conversation in their booth. That was a real nice touch! Our server was amazing and very helpful on the food and wine suggestions in addition to sharing what the specials were.We started off with the Crispy Shrimp Deviled Eggs and 6 daily suggestions of the Chef's Oysters. Both were great but we loved their take on Deviled Eggs. So good. The only negative was their Wedge Salad. I love a Wedge Salad prior to a steak but my god there was waaaaay too much Blue Cheese Dressing. It was overwhelming to the point where the crunch of the salad was not available. My order for steak was their 45 day Dry Aged Bone In Rib Eye which was delicious on the outside but a tad tough in the middle. I ordered this medium rare and I think the issue is the hot plate its served on. We had this issue before in Houston at another steak restaurant and asked not to have the steak served on a hot plate as it's supposed to rest instead of "keeping it warm". I should've sent it back but I didn't since my Casamigos drink was kicking in.They acknowledged it was our anniversary so that was a nice recognition by offering a comp dessert. Thank you.On their website they mention how they prefer a jacket and button up shirt. However I did see a mix of people who took hold to their dress code and some who didn't so in other words don't overthink their dress code. Dress to your comfort but don't look like you rolled out of bed.Valet parking is available unless you wish to park at a nearby garage and take the short walk.

We arrived at 5:30 pm, but the place was already halfway packed. There were several seats (at least half a dozen?) open in the main room. Still, we were escorted to the back room since the remaining tables were supposedly booked by folks that made reservations. The back room was cold and had this stark, uncozy ambiance (possibly due to the raw flooring?)...despite some good art on the walls. Also, the hard chairs were not comfy in the least. Oh Well. This time, we started with the Fried Calamari appetizer...then we decided to share a plate of Short Rib, along with a side of Brussels Sprouts. Then ended with their version of Creme Brulee. For drinks, my husband got some beer, and I tried this mocktail, Summer Berry Splash (or something like that).Well, as always, everything was DEE-Lish. Unfortunately, the presentation of all the dishes, from appetizer to dessert, was just NOT good. Very sloppy! Maybe they got too busy in the kitchen to care??Not only crudely presented this time, the Short Rib dish was just a lesser version than the last time. The meaty portion seemed smaller, and there was definitely less Risotto...and this time, the carrots were just yellow...not a mixture of orange and yellow carrots. Good thing that it tasted just as good...though it didn't look as good. See both pictures of this Short Rib (last year, and today), and you'll see what I mean. My husband was very disappointed with the Creme Brulee. The crust wasn't hard enough...nor warm enough. The entire dessert was cold! Plus, what's up with the topping? No strawberries or blueberries...just cream??Hostess was somewhat snotty in attitude and borderline rude, but the waitress was quite friendly and courteous.Obviously, there were some disappointments this time. As much as I like this restaurant (one of my faves in Rock Hill), I wasn't too impressed this time. The entire dining experience was sub-par...and the food presentation was bordering terrible. Am truly hoping that it was just an off night...so I'll just dock 1 star this time. Hopefully I can upgrade this review on a future visit.

My husband and I had Friday night plans that fell through, but when you have a babysitter (thanks, Gramps!) you make the most of it! I called to make a 7:30 reservation about 4:30 the same day. We would have been happy to sit at the bar, but when we got there, our table was already available, so we got a bottle of wine to split. The server told us about the off-menu appetizer special that we always get: delicious bang bang shrimp. It had been a while, and we were excited about the new menu options. My husband had The Rockefeller (6 oz filet with fried oysters and creamed spinach), and I had The Oak Island (6 oz filet with 3 scallops and mushrooms). I was a little surprised about the mushrooms because they were barely sautéed and a little garlic seemed to be the only seasoning. I would have loved them with the Pinot reduction on the scallops, or some balsamic vinegar. Regardless, we had a great meal, and decided to have dessert while we finished our wine. I couldn't pass up the coconut creme cake (good with strawberries added on top, but not necessary for those of us who love coconut cake). My husband got the bread pudding (a huge portion) and we took bread pudding home to thank the baby sitter. The atmosphere was great for date night: great service, and quiet enough to hear each other.

Fleming's was a delightful experience that delivered on its fine dining promise. The interior exudes elegance, setting the perfect tone for a special evening. Let's talk about the food--the roasted sweet potatoes with brown sugar were absolutely to die for! The flavor was simply incredible, and they paired perfectly with the chipotle mac & cheese. The mac & cheese had a lovely crust on top and a creamy texture at the bottom that made it irresistible. I didn't order any meats this time, but I'm already looking forward to coming back to try their certified Angus beef ribeye. The blueberry lemon drop was another highlight. It looked gorgeous and tasted just as good--definitely a drink I'd recommend on your next visit! Our server, Allyssa G., was outstanding. She was attentive throughout the night, ensuring our water glasses were always full--a rare but much-appreciated touch. Her excellent service deserved a great tip, and I was more than happy to oblige. To top it all off, my party and I celebrated a friend's birthday on the evening of January 15, 2025, and Fleming's went above and beyond to make it special. They surprised us with complimentary champagne for a toast and gifted my friend a small box of chocolates. This thoughtful gesture was the best birthday offering I've seen at a restaurant. Kudos to Fleming's for making the night unforgettable! Here are pictures of the restaurant, the menu with prices, and my food and drinks.

Their T bone steak was a standout! It was cooked to perfection, with a nice balance of fat and meat. The staff was friendly, though the wait for our food was a little longer than expected.

1- amazing and kind service 2- warm welcome 3- beautiful location and view (outside)4- the food portion was big (I tries the lemon chicken dish) and flavorful. But next time I won't order that dish as I didn't like the lemony sauce. I like the lemony aspect of it but I felt too fatty and salty.

"Best Hibachi I've had in Charlotte! The soup and salad were a 10/10. The chicken and steak could use a little more sauce but we're still good. Had a long wait but there's a bar with several tvs to sit while you wait. The restaurant was clean and had cool effects for birthdays and celebrations. Definitely would come back again!"
"I had an anniversary dinner here and found it to be just okay. First, there was a party of really loud people behind us (not the restaurant's fault) which made it hard to hear my partner. Second, we had to send back the grouper because it was raw the first time but it also wasn't completely done the second time either. The bright side was that the mule and mussels were excellent."
"This place is AMAZING! The hubby and I came here for Christmas dinner because we wanted to break from tradition. The ambience was great sometimes it is nice to come to a classic restaurant as opposed to a more modern setting. Our waiter was a man named Alex and he was so professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We started with the steak tartare and lobster, they were so good I forgot to take pics, lol! For our main course we had steaks, it seems like a sin to come to an steak house and not get steak. Everything was great, I wish I could give it 4.5 stars. Will definitely be coming back!"
"Omg we love this place, and drive an hour to get to it . Please open another restaurant near Matthews !! . First of all I cannot tell you how good the salad bar is . We've been coming here for at least 6 years and it Is always fresh and delicious. I challenge anyone to say there is a better one. With new owners taking over in the last year, the menu selections have gotten better, and the food is always hot and delicious .I even think the cocktail menu got beefed up. On this night, I had the fried shrimp and loaded tots, and hubby had the porkchop .Both were so good. I've also had the 1/2 roasted chicken and it was amazingly moist. We will continue to drive the miles to get there, because we are drawn in by that super fresh salad bar."
"Excellent food and service. The ambience is romantic and a great place for a date night. The pace is relaxed. Excellent wine choice.Very pleased with our dinner. A hidden gem in the Arboretum."
"Nice and lively - with live music!Very friendly service but slow because it was a busy Saturday night. The food depends on who you ask! We are a party of eight and some really enjoyed their meal but others didn't. The burgers were over cooked; the short ribs were great; the shrimp and grits were perfect; the chicken pasta was good; the tuna tar tar chips were good."
"A good friend and I frequently go to lunch at Ichiban. I would say 6-8 times in a year. We have always enjoyed our meals: shared sushi rolls and sashimi Usually a tuna roll, and then a special " roll of the day ". A good house salad starts us off. Then the rolls and then an order of sashimi The food is always right on target. We have never seriously thought about going somewhere else for sushi. Why would be - the restaurant has comfortable tables and booths. Add some sake. Well ...... two hours later and we're full and content"
"I'll keep it short. Love coming here for great sushi and hibachi. Prob the best sushi in the area! The customer service is always top notch. If you sit at the hibachi tables ask for 007. He's great! The other staff is always awesome too! Yummy food and you won't leave hungry!"
"When I'm in the area, Sake express is always my go to place for many years now! Do not get intimidated by the long lines, they move pretty quickly with their fast service. Their hibachi is hands down the best in town. So good!!!"
"I was disappointed with the soup salad and meal... The soup was so bland and the salad dressing was like soup. The scallop and shrimp were cooked to perfection. This can only be a lunch spot. It is too expensive for dinner and lackluster food."
"Will, I wanted to give you another chance, so tonight I had the 10 oz Ribeye, it was delicious cooked just the way it is supposed to be. I have eaten here several times, once I was not happy, but 1 out of 5 with 4 times being great, I have to give 5 stars. By the way there is nothing better than having an owner that is passionate about his food, I met him when I came in and he is passionate! Well done!"
"I took my mom to eat here because it was close to the hotel we were staying at and I was happy I did. The staff was extremely friendly, the food was good and a nice size portion, and the place was clean. The French toast really stood out because it was really tasty. They had a senior menu choice which was discounted. The coffee was the only thing that we found not good. Overall, a great place to visit."
"the view here is to die for! The food and service is exceptional!! Came here for my anniversary dinner and it was a fantastic experience!"
"The food, service, value, and atmosphere were all outstanding, but it wasn't my choice to come here (was with family) and despite all this, I wouldn't return for one reason:OBNOXIOUS TRUMP PICS EVERYWHERE.But the staff can't help that, so I'm only deducting one star from what would otherwise have been a perfect rating. A shame the owners can't be more professional."
"Stopped in at Pier 51 for some Friday night seafood. My family loves Pier 51, the food is so fresh and the service is great. There's usually no wait to be seated, unless you come on Saturday during dinner time or Sunday where family's and groups come after church and there's a discount if you bring the church bulletin and they give a daily 10% senior discount."
"New to the area & wasn't sure what to expect, happy to find a new go to dining spot. The food was good, a few hits & a few misses, but still would have me returning! The hits: calamari appetizer was crispy & delicious, the NY strip steak was cooked to our liking and side dishes yummy. The cheesecake was creamy and def the dessert to get. The misses: shrimp cocktail was limp & watery, felt like it was poorly defrosted from the freezer. Would skip next time. The steak & shrimp scampi dinner was underwhelming. Steak was thin so hard to cook more on the rare side & shrimp, an addition of linguini would improve it. The chocolate cake was dry & only saving grace was stealing strawberry topping from the cheesecake. Service both at the bar & in the dining room was great, although bartenders were a little slow once we weren't the only patrons at the bar. Their bread served warm with dinner gets a special shout out. It's the closest thing to bread from NY/NJ I've found down here! They get it from a Greek wholesale bakery (Artos Bakery) in uptown area, but do sell the small loaves for $4.99 if you wanted to take one home!Feels more like a NJ diner then a fancy steakhouse, but I'll be back with the family next time and get a few extra loves of bread to bring home!"
"Let me start by saying for us, going to Bones Jones is 3 hrs round trip and it's absolutely worth it. You get quality food, most of which is local to the area and you taste it. You're not getting box Mac and cheese here. Everything was thoughtfully placed on the menu by Bones himself and you'll catch him in the kitchen many days you visit. The beef rib is new to the menu and we've been to TX and had it. Have had it quite a few places and this one SLAPS! Great smoke, amazing seasoning and bark on it. My husband and I both left with a clean bone. And if you still have room, get the cheesecake or to go is an option."
"Weirdly it's located in a plaza. It's a bit far away from where I live but the parking is definitely better than parking at Uptown where Chima was. So the concept is very similar to Chima. However, they have the buffet and salad bar. From the buffet, I got the Brazilian cheese bread, spaghetti, a Caesar salad and their potatoes salad. Everything was great except the spaghetti. I'm not a fan. Their meat selections was very good. I was surprised not to see any fish selections. But hey I'm ok with it. The customer service was phenomenal. She was alway on top of things. And very accommodating. For the ambiance. It's nice that I didn't have to dress up., because I really wanted to wear paternity pants with all the food that I was eating. However, my only complaint is the music. For a Saturday night. It being a full house. I can't even hear myself think. And there were 8 ppl at our table. So there wasn't much room for conversations.. but other than that it's great:"
"If you're local to Rock Hill/Fort Mill, this is a fair alternative to Nakato's, in Pineville. The chef's put on and excellent show at the Hibachi tables and the front of the house is attentive. It's usually not incredibly busy, so the wait time is nothing like Nakato's, which is a major plus! The building is a bit old and could use some updates, but if you're itching for an onion volcano that might warm your face, Sakura is a good option."
"Just the right place for brunch. Great food options and awesome service. Loved the overall experience"
"Very good food . Larger servings . I would recommend to anyone . If I had a complaint it would be that they could use more wait staff"
"AsAs we go here often and take many out of town guest. The staff is always great. Food is alway a good Portion and taste great. A great value for the buck."
