"I have been at Kate's Skate quite a few times 1) for private skating lessons by Coach Steve 2) for the 1st on Oct 16th for 30s and up night from 7pm to 10pm. The place have alway been kept up when I was there. And the last couple of weeks. They have been remodeling the place in stages. From changing the carpet out to the new counter. The staffs have alway been kind to me. Since they help with putting on new wheels. Changing out my skates bearing and I even met the owner Bill. Who assisted with the new padding and shoelaces to my new skates. They are knowledgeable and Bill suggested that I can get a inexpensive gel shoe padding if I don't want to spend alot of money on theirs. However, the rather get the proper padding for my skates and not padding for shoes. Also I'm just more comfortable with Kate's products because they have been around for years. They kept the skaters safe and at peace when there are a large crowd. So this is definitely my go to for indoor skating."
"Thanks to Kate's for keeping it real! I hadn't skated in 20 years but a bunch of friends were going so I tagged along. Most of my time was spent practicing not killing myself. Just staying upright in the never ending parade circling the rink offers plenty of exercise. There's always a little danger involved. It was crowded in the afternoon and kids seem to splat on the floor every other second right in front of you. But they pop back up like it was nothing and keep skating. I think everyone should tie on some skates, have a corn dog and a snow cone every few weeks and remember what it's like to be away from computers and TV and enjoy the simplicity of movement and being alive."
"We came here for a kids birthday party and several tones in the past. It is a great place to spend time with you family/kids and be a walk back in time as well on a pair of roller skates. Now, it you are like me, you should wear pads. I mean, it got so bad I had to leave the rink because I was afraid my flailing arms world strike a kid and throw him across the building. It's true, and can no longer skate like I did years ago but It was fun trying. The young staff staff that works there are all very friendly and polite. They have a snack bar that looked like they a a big selection of offerings but we had pizza for the party so I did not sample. Throughout the time I was there they had organized games on the rink that was a blast for the kids. They were able earn something to trade in for prizes. It was a blast, kids and adults were having a good time."
"I think every skating rink in Greenville has patched floors but this ones not as bad as the others. Could be better. Cheap to skate. Decent music (can't play certain music tho). Speed skates and rollerblades allowed unlike a few other rinks. Practice area and roller assists available for newbies/kids."
"Had to plan a quick birthday party for my daughter, she really wanted to go roller skating! They were very accommodating and even let me book the night before! I will say it was costly for the amount of product for the cost! I wouldn't suggest others to plan on the fly like I did. But if your in a bind they can help u out! And don't go there for the video games!!!! Some are broken, without any signs letting you know. So it just takes ur money!"
"The skates are poor quality and rink can be intimidatingly crowded, but we enjoyed it. The lights are magical and make for a fun date night or family outing. Just be aware that the skates are tricky."
"Extreme Ice center is a great play for free time, skating for individuals, families and friends. The center is huge and easily accommodates the needs for hockey tournaments and other large scale events. When you come here, you can bring your own skates or rent skates for $5 and admission is $10 for the whole day. I brought my daughter and her friend here and they loved it. They had a great time and there was plenty of space for them to "skates" or fall down! Extreme Ice also provides private training for people who would like to ice skate and they offer rentals for parties. A mistake that I made is not checking operating schedule because there are many events. The first time I showed up, there was a hockey tournament so we had to leave but I was prepared the next time."
"Back to school fun with friends!!! They had a blast!! All the top hits and then some. Food, friends, fun! Party room available for birthdays. $150-$250 price range. Not bad compared to most other kid friendly places."

It's nice to have a decent rink in the area but I hate that this one is located so far away. There used p be a location on the North side of town, but I never cared for the fact that the floor was concrete. At least this location has hardwood floors. The parking lot was full when we went, so we had to park at the Lidl across the street. It's time for skates to expand their parking lot. They have adult skating on Thursday and Saturday nights I believe, and on a recent visit, the rink was jam packed. I don't own my own skates so I did have to rent them, but I was happy to see that they've invested in new skates since the last time I've been. Makes sense since that was years ago. They've also added a climbing situation for kids which I'm sure keeps them busy on family nights. Plenty of seating, good options and skate supplies. Can't wait to go back although I never look forward to the drive.

The customer service is always excellent. Everything is always so clean and the environment is welcoming. The concession stand has a great variety of snacks and food. The prices are very fair. If it's your first time skating or if you're looking to get back into skating the have a great pro shop!

Nice, clean, well run facility. Friendly and helpful staff that are always available. Well stocked snack bar, arcade games and a decent sound system. Very helpful pro shop. Love taking my kids there for an afternoon of something that isn't slouched in front of a computer.Only criticism I have is the bathroom facilities need a sprucing up. Hand dryer in the men's room was broken last time we were there.

What a cool skating rink! Ok so this skating rink took me wayyy back. The 1980's vibe, the no wifi, the skates, the concession stand, the colors and decor! Outstanding. Put your phone down and put and skate. I havent skated in about 5 or 6 years so I was very tense. I came on a Tuesday and it wasnt crowded at all. People of all ages were skating from 4 to 70! I love this!!! For $5 and free skates, I will definitely return for more practice.

Great place to come out and skate. Also great arcade games . I do wish they had an animatronic band for entertainment. An animatronic band would go very well in that kind of place .

Had a great time with the family!! Friendly staff who stopped to help on of the kids when they fell (numerous times) and great ice surface. The hot chocolate from Pink Mamas warmed everyone right up! I have to say as well, the cake pops are my absolute favorite and the apple cider was delicious as well!

We are here most weekends, and sometimes during the week for youth hockey games. Extreme Ice is a good operation with loads of instruction, classes, rental equipment, birthday parties and their wonderful bar and snack bar upstairs. there is also a down stairs order window, but using the upstairs bar allows you access to balconies over each of the two main ice rinks.Service is generally at the bar or at the windows. Sometimes an employee will circulate taking orders.Their menu has grown over the past few years into a very nice assortment of sandwiches, burgers, salads, appetizers and pizzas. Prices are very reasonable.Nice people, good food, good portions and fast service.

I do not understand what these other reviews saw. I had rented out the facility for a sorority event and had the best time ever. They were the easiest people ever to work with and a great price as well. Every staff member was so nice and helpful and was always trying to see if anything needed to be done. I would 100% recommend Roller Sports to my friends who are looking for a fun thing to do with friends. Also Roller Sports is one of the only roller rinks in town that has an actual website and email address.... this is a BIG reason why i decided to book with them. They are legit. Don't let the haters hate.

"My girls were down here for the weekend so I decided to take them ice skating. It was our first time trying ice skating. They all had so much fun. My youngest niece had the red thing to help her but she eventually got brave and tried it several times without it but of course she kept falling but for right back up. The sun was beaming down on the rink so the ice was melting pretty fast. They did have a young worker out there trying to push it off to the side so that it wasn't so wet. All the workers were extremely nice and helpful. Each time someone fell down, they'd rush over there to make sure you were ok. We skated for about an hour which is plenty of time out there. Definitely give it a try."
"Place appears to be very kid friendly. All kids working their way around the rink. Looks like your typical skate rink from back in the day. Nothing but smiles on all the patron faces. Descent little food stand to meet your basic hunger needs, pizza, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, etc."
"We are regulare here as a grandson and granddaughter play on hocky teams on the rink. This snack bar has really come along over the last few years and is now a very nice operation. They sell beer and wine along with soft drinks and they have recently expanede their menu. It is far more than junk food.French fries are excellent. They are, I think, the twice-fried variety whereby the fries are lightly cooked in oil and then recooked to bring on a well cooked, lightly colored, potatoe that taste very good. You can do the ketchup thing or have some ranch dressing or BBQ sauce with them.I had a hamburger ($14) and it was well worth the price as it included fries. The meat is 100% beef and is a thick patty, cooked well, but now charred or overdone. It was really good.We had all five of our grandchildren with us and they gobbled down quite a variety of food. The bartenders are friendly and you can pay with card or cash and they will run a tab for you, as they did for us. And you never miss the hockey taking place on the ice 10 feet away."
"As I teenager it is very fun place to come and hangout with your friends and skate the workers are very nice and funny"
"Omg this place is nostalgic for me! I spent many Saturdays here as a kid. Was in town for a birthday party here and this place looks exactly the same! Nothing has changed over the years. The music was great, the arcade is small but has decent games. The staff were welcoming and on the floor with the kids! The pizza was decent and the food was cheap! Not good but okay lol."
"I brought my four year old for her first time today. We came about 30 minutes before they close. The owner was very nice and let my daughter try it for free. They were playing good music and I didn't hear any cussing in the music. There were some other kids skating and it looked like they were having so much fun. I saw the owner interact with some other people and he seemed just as nice with them. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the carpet was really dirty. It looks like they're trying to spruce it up a little at a time so, I'm hopeful the updates keep coming. We'll definitely be back!"
"Went on a Thurs night this pass week.. I brought in my own skates so it was only $8. And it's an adults only night. DJ D-Smooth spin old school R& B and hip hop all night.. Since clubs and bars are closed. This is the closest we can do to listen to sole great music and "semi-dance"! Everything look clean. Staffs were helpful.. and the rink is well taken care of"
"Owners are working really hard to bring back a nice place for kids to skate. Lots of specials so keep an eye out."
"Oh skating! I was never a skater growing up in the 90's but my wife and kids love it! First thing I noticed out the gate was that there was no funky smell! You all know what I'm talking about! Like old sweaty feet! Definitely one thing I have noticed at other places. So that was a huge plus! My kids brought their own skates. Entry fee wasn't bad at all. It was busy! This was on a Saturday. Half the day they have younger crowds and the other half older crowds. They rent walkers for $5 for those who are learning to skate. Keep yours close someone will take it! They sell out quick so get there early! They have a small arcade area and a jungle gym playground area. Which has a height limit. There were a few birthday parties going on at the same time. From what I could gather they offered private rooms and the DJ would announce important information to each of those parties. The food was typical- like pizza that was pretty good! The shaved ice is my family's favorite! The music is up to date. Which is great because no one wants to skate to Conway Twitty. They sell skates and of course rent them as well. Everyone was friendly. They have lockers if needed. The bathrooms were clean. Our overall experience was nice and would recommend this place for sure. Enjoy!"
"It's been about a year since I've taken my daughter skating and this past Saturday we came here to have some fun! I checked o lime and saw they open up at noon so I made sure to get there close to opening. We arrived at like 12:05pm and there was a LINE! Turns out the bulk of those people were there for a party and one of the workers at the front called up people who were not apart of the party to a seperate line and we rolled right in. Admission and skates for myself and my daughter came up to $15 and they gave us tickes for the skate. I'm not sure the break down on that price but I thought that was pretty decent. There were private rooms for party, benches you can eat your food on and a gaming area too if you wanted to take a break from skating and have some fun. Music was jumping as we walked toward the area all the skates were at. We provided them with the tickets and we traded our shoes in for skates. The skates were actually pretty fly. I'm used to old raggedy skates when I go skating but these were far from that. My daughter wanted to be a big girl and try skating without the skate trainer device but after 42 seconds she was like nahhhh. We went back to the front where they keep the skate trainers and I rented one of those. That ran me another $5. We had lots of fun going around the rink. She fell a few times but kept getting back up to skate some more. I liked that. We skated for about 45 and then she was over it. I'm def gonna come back here by myself so I can really get my skate on."
