"OMG! Ordered a build your own bowl, on DoorDash and it was bursting with flavor! I went with the greens and grains base opting for the cumin jasmine rice and spinach & kale mix. My toppings included cucumber & tomato salad, purple cabbage slaw, Sumac onion, chickpea and roasted red pepper salad, Tunisian hummus and Shawarma chicken as my protein. As a sauce girlie I had to have the tzatziki, Lebanese garlic sauce and the Harrissa yogurt. All the flavors meshed together perfectly! I now have a new fav Mediterranean spot and will be adding Yafo to my weekly lunch line up."

He also wanted to watch the Hurricanes and Golden Knights.We rolled in about 830p and the place was packed, even the bar.We got seated and waited for our Server and we waited.Finally a young lady came up and said she would help us but we would be her last table, she was end of shift. From there we had probably one of the best dining experiences in the area in a long, long time.Lindsay was on her game. She quickly got our beverages, brought menus, answered questions and offered suggestions. James doesn't get a lot of que in NH, he was impressed since he's from the South and can't find this quality and selection in NH, especially with the sides like the collards and corn bread.What followed was an amazing meat feast of brisket and BBQ and the best sides we could imagine.Lindsay is a great asset to this business. She's polite and professional, she smiles and is articulate. Quite exceptional, that she's been here since they opened over 4 years ago.After she brought our food and we were surveying all the porky fineness on our table, Lindsey said 'The Hurricanes will be on this screen' as she pointed to the large HDTV, 'will that work for you'? I would definitely love to go back just for that! The portions are a great size, I am with chicken and pasta, no salad. 5/5. I did have to ask for bread, but it was worth the wait! The lasagna was also a 4.5/5. I personally didn't love the pizza crust, so I wouldn't go back for pizza. It was hard, not chewy at all, how I like it unless it's super thin crust. Fair warning for small children: The ice cream case is the first thing that greets you in the door. It's 1950s diner kitch with well portioned southern home cooking at a fair price. The fried chicken, turkey and gravy, and salmon cakes were all delicious and definitely homemade. The sides were decidedly a mixed bag. Mash potatoes, sweet potato mash, and fried squash were delicious and homemade. The greenbean casserole and mac n cheese were straight from Stauffers and disappointing. The corn bread muffin was stellar. I didn't taste the hamburger, but enough left the kitchen to assemble a small cow so I can assume deliciousness. If you choose wisely and aren't in a rush, this is a homey worthwhile meal."

"Before I start, I want to make note that my pizza was delivered, and my husband used to say grading a pizza place based on delivery isn't exactly fair, unless delivery is all they offer. Pizza is best piping hot or cold from the fridge and not a lot between. Okay. Onward. I have been meaning to try Levantes forever but it's in a part of town I don't frequent (and if I'm close by chances are I'll get a Cookout tray, double up on cheese bites). So feeling disinclined to cook tonight - and hey, give me a break; last night I made spinach and mushroom risotto from scratch - I finally took the plunge. None of the specialty pizzas really grabbed me so I did a CYO (create your own) with mild Italian sausage and red onions. Ordered a large, regular sauce, so I have leftovers, else really why bother?Now, as a baker and a good second-generation Russian-American lover of bread, I must first and foremost have a good crust. I grew up in the northeast so a thin, chewy dough is my preference. Gold star here, Levantes. The crust was properly bubbled and brown and toothy and solid enough that I really want to try their calzones. Next is the sauce, which should have only enough sugar to blunt the tomato acidity. Again, gold star. The sauce should always complement but not overwhelm a pizza with cheese. (Pizza marinara is another matter.) Speaking of, the mozzarella was quality, and if the dough, the sauce or the cheese is lacking, I will turn up my nose at a pizza faster than a toddler with Brussels sprouts. Only quibble was with the sausage. I like ground sausage and expected it but what arrived was sliced. Also a bit salty. Neither of these things to me was significant enough to deduct points. Toppings were generous too. I kinda want to give Levantes four stars but I am betting anything getting it fresh and hot would take me to five stars, so they get the benefit of the doubt. Will update my review when I get to try a calzone. Good pie, Levantes!"

I love their spot in optimist hall because it's the perfect spot to have lunch at one place, grab a cocktail somewhere else, and have a dessert at one of the other vendors. The best part is you can sit inside or outside, so you can decide what you are feeling that day! The service is always friendly and attentive and quick! I would for sure give it a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend to anyone who is either visiting and needs somewhere quick to go on their lunch break or any Charlotte natives who are in the mood for a delicious chicken sandwich :)"

The burger was cooked to the right temp and all came out as promised. The negative is that it had frozen Bubba burger vibes and accompanied by frozen Sysco fries. Overall the taste was fine but I'd rather save the junk food for something worth splurging on. This was not it. Service was great."

I got two slices of cheese pizzas, two pepperoni pizzas, an order of 6 garlic knots, fried raviolis, and a large Philly cheesesteak sub. I had quick service and everyone was friendly despite it being a busy day for them. Really appreciate that! Also, my father-in-law commented on how hot the Philly cheesesteak is which is always appreciated with to go orders! You also can't go wrong with their giant pieces of cheese and pepperoni pizza. No complaints there, tastes great as expected! It was also unbelievable how amazing the flavor of the garlic knots are.
