"Just the neighborhood water hole. Great food great atmosphere great staff. Added photos for your enjoyment. Been coming here for decades."
"Aesthetic: No frills sports bar with a large variety of wings, sandwiches, bar fare, and a full cocktail bar. Experience: Wow, I was impressed with this spot! I came here after seeing a picture of the caraway bread online, and it did not disappoint. The Beef on 'Weck was incredible, it was a tender beef sandwich with seedy caraway bread and a side of au jus and horseradish sauce. I'm honestly obsessed. The wings were a great value as well, we happened to stop by on Wing Wednesday where the deal is only $1 per wing! My favorite flavor was the Gold Rush, a mustard based bbq sauce. I loved it all, and our waitress was super sweet! Conclusion: Get the Beef on 'Weck, it's perfection! This is a great sports bar, I highly recommend it."
Our lean, slow-roasted beef is piled high. A weck is a Tuscan roll with kosher salt and carraway seed baked on top. Plain roll available on request. Served with choice of creamy horsey sauce or straight horseradish on the side. Add au jus.

"Phenomenal! Wow. We were so excited to visit this place because of its daily deals. Let me tell you (two double mimosas later) I am loving ittttt! Amazing establishment. Great music, television. The service was amazing. Food was so good. Buffalo Mac was great, but the Beagle Bowl took the crown! Amazing amazing amazing. New to town? Come here! Bring your family friends and say hey I know a place. (That's what I'm gonna do).The double mimosas are hitting very nicely."
"Excellent Food, Service, our waiter was awesome & we got seated right away. The place is always busy. Very clean & you'll always see friends to talk to in there."
"Cedric's Tavern is in a cute area of the Biltmore property called the Antler Hill Village and Winery. It has a good size outdoor seating area, inside, and nice size bar. It was packed, so we had a 30 minute wait. Our server Tom was great. We had some wins, some misses, and some flat out losses. First up they brought 4 waters and there was about 4 ice cubes in each. I don't understand why restaurants are getting so greedy with the ice! (Loss). Next up the jar of pickles came. Best fresh house made pickles I've had. Crunchy. Vinegary and full of flavor. (Win). Next up our cauliflower with beer cheese. It was served cold. Under seasoned and hardly any of the cheese sauce. (Miss). A runner brought us a bowl of the beer and bacon almonds. We hadn't ordered them but since she had set them down she left them. Salty with a touch of sweetness. (Win). Our final app was the baked Brie. Described as mini baked Brie until bubbling... our Brie was the opposite of bubbling, it was cold. And the crostinis were also cold, not buttery or toasted and borderline stale. The cranberry pistachio compote was good. (Loss). The last of the food that I had was the pork burger. Something I've never had before and would never make at home. It was described as a blend of estate-raised pork, bacon and roasted garlic, topped with Irish Cheddar, Guinness mayo, sauteed sweet onions, and pickle chips, served with a side of Tavern chips. The tavern chips were ice cold. And had zero salt on them. I don't know if all of our cold food was the chefs fault, the expediter, or the runner but it was an issue. An issue that we didn't complain about so shame on us for not speaking up. The pork burger was good. Seasoned, warm, and served on a buttery toasted bun with a good amount of the Guinness mayo. I did pull almost all of the sautéed sweet onions off because there was too many. (Overall plate was a win/miss). Feedback from my friend's on their food: Pub Burger, awesome. fish and chip; fish was greasy but fries with malt vinegar was good. Wedge salad good minus the cherry tomatoes. (It's not tomato season yet). My Oh George cocktail was Crown Royal, Grand Marnier, and ginger ale. It was a good sipping cocktail. Overall it's a nice spot inside the Biltmore property to dine. We'd all go back. I would just be more vocal about the cold food if that was the case again."
"If you want to enjoy a fun and unique dining experience this is the place to go. Set in the French sector that is full of small restaurants with great variety. It is located across from a local park Romare Bearden. I recommend the fish and chips and a choice of beer. It is exceptionally flavorful. Their other fare is delicious as well. I haven't tried them but many recommend the chicken wings. It is at times quiet and intimate. Then at other times loud and noisy. They also have small tables outside. Either way you will enjoy yourself. The individuals working there are kind, polite and very helpful. It is also very clean. You can sit up front and look out the large windows and watch people go by and also see some of the local characters in the area. Just enjoy a unique experience in downtown Charlotte."
"Nice atmosphere, attentive staff. Good food and drinks. Waitress was helpful about menu. Definitely will visit again."
"I've been to RiRa a few times but recently went for a Texas Longhorns football watch party. There are lots of TVs and tables in the upstairs bar, and also bathrooms! I tried the everything pretzel rods. The cheese sauce was really good and they give you a big amount for dipping. I didn't care for the everything seasoning so I scraped most of it off. The other menu items look really tasty! Parking in uptown can be tough if you don't get lucky and find a meter spot."
"We arrived for a very late dinner after leaving the hospital. We were a party of 5 and everyone was super satisfied with our meal. We were seated right away on a Friday night. The server was a little slow taking our order but the food came out fairly quickly. The fish and chips was the best we've had outside the UK. The fries were excellent and the burgers were great. And the steak and mushroom pie had a flaky crust though not the biggest serving. All in all it was a nice meal and we would go back."
"Good simple bar food. Had a few appetizers for a quick lunch. The mozzarella sticks were good hot and crispy. Had the chips and salsa. A little below average. I would skip it for another choice. The wings- delicious. Order the Buffalo Mild and they still had a little kick. Service was pretty good for being so busy. Would go back again and also try some other options."
"Went here for a couple of drinks and a pizza. Dani our bartender was really friendly, fun to talk to, and made it a great experience overall. Beers were very good. The wrathchild hazy is fantastic and they have some of the best mead outside of San Diego I have ever had here! The passion mead was my favorite. Great flavor. Had a new Mac and cheese pizza on the menu and it was fantastic. Really good sized bar pie, crust was crispy and Kenny the kitchen manager was also really friendly. Great experience with a good ambiance. Will definitely be back!"

Great "whole in the wall" local restaurant, with a great vibe. We knew walking in that the food would gonna be good. The lunch menu was simple. 4 apps, sandwiches, salads, and soups.I ordered the London Broil Sandwich as recommended medium. I added mushrooms and sautéed onions, add tomatoes. It was a little chewy just as the waiter started but good and the hoagie bread was soft and yummy. The loaded potato soup was creamy with cheese and crumbled bacon on top. The hubby ordered the Half Pound Burg with the three cheese blend, sautéed onions, and bacon, and bit was it a lot of yummy, crispy bacon; he LOVED it. The onion rings were cooked to perfection, light, fluffy, and delicious.

Stopped in for a late bite and what a good stop it was. The service was so friendly and welcoming. We started with the wings and fried pickles. Both were very crispy and tasted good. The burgers were cooked perfectly (medium) and tasted great. Definitely worth checking out.

Consistently amazing food!!! Copper's NEVER fails us!! I eat their Salmon frequently. I get mine without the Citrus Glaze, and get it blackened instead. YUMMM!! It's comes on tops of a moist black bean cake and green beans, however, they are always willing to change those out for other sides, if you wish.

Located in uptown, it's a dive bar in a strip of other dive bars, that we locals call the French quarter. walking distance to the ball field. The food is really good, and I was pleasantly surprised with this chicken dish. It's easily a 10/10 wish there were more cider or wine options but again, it's a dive bar. I recommend it for food for sure!

I've seen some not great reviews here, so I may be lucky that I had a great experience. The only issue was a pretty decent wait time for a server to get to our table, and it took a bit for our food to arrive. But I don't hold that against them, especially on a weekend night in downtown Charlotte. They have all of the favorite Irish pub menu items. I tried the pub Rachel and wow, it was amazing!! The mashed potatoes were also delicious! They have beer and a full bar, so there are drinks for everyone. Our server had an Irish accent, so I had to ask where she was from. She had just arrived here from Ireland two weeks ago. She told us that the company that owned the restaurant is based in Ireland and they expanded to Charlotte, so they offer employees to come here to work for periods of time. She wasn't the only employee that had traveled from Ireland to work in Charlotte, so it really made the vibe even more authentic. I thought that was the coolest thing ever! Parts of the bar were even brought over from Ireland to the Charlotte location. The vibe is totally that of an Irish pub! We had such a great dinner experience there that we went back the next night and took friends with us.

"In town for business and here are my thoughts :Service was good ...had a grilled chicken sandwich and frings ..they were tasty ..Unsweet tea was good ..really no complaints and a straightforward good experience."
"I ent here for a special fundraising event for first responders. Purchased a VIP ticket that came with a buffet of crab legs, salmon, oysters etc. when I eat crab legs I think of them being hot and served with butter which these were not. They came on ice and no melted butter or even a cracker for the claws. When asked if they had any, was told no. However they still had great flavor in spite of not being hot so that's a plus. Also the VIP area was upstairs, and there are no bathrooms upstairs. So if you have to constantly go, you're running back and forth downstairs. I just found it to be an odd set up. But anyways the staff were friendly and the place was packed so obviously it's really popular. There was an 80s tribute band playing outside that were really great but got a bit cold so couldn't stay long, but from what I understand live music is usually indoors."
"I enjoyed Angry Ale's for what it is -- a no-fuss, no-frills neighborhood bar.And just like the bar, everything is solid: The service, the food, the drink drinks. I love how casual it is. It's like they expect you to come in and just be at home. Even if you're sitting outside on the patio, they want you to see yourselves and a waiter will come to you, inside the restaurant, you can choose to sit at the bar or at a high top, or a booth. Do not expect fancy bites here. You will find American classics, like sandwiches, wings, nachos, etc.Definitely a good spot to watch sports. Parking is tight - they have a small lot. But there is parking along the street."
"This place is our vibe! The staff is always nice and always helps with our drink choices. We have come a couple times and every time is just great! They have games, karaoke, music and sometimes just chill, depending when you come. Oh, we love the egg rolls here! Highly recommend you come on a Friday night!"
"Westbille Pub is a great spot to grab a local brew & some late night munchies! The fries and hand cut & delicious. The chicken fingers were panko breaded & tender. We chose the sweet potato savory waffle fries for our third choice & they were yummy! This is a great place to go with a big group of friends, on a date, or with the family! The staff is always friendly. There are games to play while chilling. Go check this "locals" spot out in West AVL!"
"Came here per my friends suggestion to accommodate the proximity to her home.. otherwise this place probably wouldn't be on my radar. Seems like a nice sports bar and appeared to have a variety of beers on tap. For the food- also quite the large variety which always leaves me skeptical when it comes to quality. I ordered the wings and also an order of potato skins. 10 wings is $13+.. which seems expensive! There were a variety of drums and wings in the bunch. I was served one small serving of ranch. The wings were ok.. but to me don't justify the price point. They were average size. The potato skins are what was most disappointing. They reminded me of the frozen kind you buy at the grocery store. There were also no green onions or chives served on top. They were so bland and tasted microwaved tbh. I wish I had snapped a picture. Service was nice and friendly. I love their covered patio and ample parking."
"Easy call, my FAVORITE wings in CLT. I don't need to go anywhere else to get wings whether is dine on or take out. The sauces are AMAZING! Parmesan garlic, sexy sauce, lemon pepper hot, BBQ all slapped! The ranch and blue Cheese sauces are high quality! Don't change nothing!! One night I went in for the first time that wasn't a sports game and the staff was super cool and friendly even the young homie who fried up the wings was a vibe! SOLID spot!!"
"First time there we felt right at home. Staff was friendly and welcoming, and the drinks were reasonably priced. We sat outside on the patio since the weather was perfect, but can't wait to go back and check out the Poe decor inside. A lot to take in!"
"Great local spot! Very popular and always a good crowd. Awesome spot to watch games. Bartenders are efficient and friendly. Would recommend if you are nearby."
"Rail House is a brewery clearly devoted to the military community from the moment you walk in, although it may not look it from the outside or in my pictures. The meatball sub was a first time Go at this station. The list of beer crafted here also has a military theme. I didn't taste it yet but I got a growler full of Knights Golden. Will update with an AAR when mission complete."
"Voodoo Ranger on draft and Chicago style hot dogs with tots. Perfect. The boys had tacos which also looked good. GREAT service, friendly staff."
"Cozy place to sit and have either a specialty coffee or alcohol drink. They have outdoor seating too. Our Salted Caramel Lattes were made quickly and tasted great. Would have enjoyed sitting and people watching as it would have been a perfect spot to spend an hour. We took our coffees to go but will be back another day to take advantage of this spot."
"Dive bar indeed! Great vibe in here, drinks made well too! Great place to have stumbled into when visiting gville. Recommend"
"Food is good. Lunch service hit or miss. One server that works lunch isn't very attentive even if it's slow. She disappears and just doesn't check- in at all. This is our third time with her."
"Good hotel bar/tavern. Hotel does an hour long happy hour. Also have a pretty good wine and cheese setup that starts at 5pm where they give out a variety of reds and cheeses along with grapes and strawberries. Staff is really friendly here. Myself and my team had the wings which were very good as an appetizer. They also have Mountain Dew which is a favorite of one of my employees so he was extremely happy. I did the blackened chicken fettuccine Alfredo which was vert good. One of my guys had the cod and the other had the bbq chicken. The a la carte entrees come with two sides which both of my team had mac n cheese and vegetables. They wee very satisfied."
"I have eaten here & gotten several take out orders. It is a small restaurant with inside, outside & limited bar seating available. The drinks are delicious! My favorite dish is the Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta, it's very flavorful & a generous portion. My friend has ordered the Caribbean Jerk Boneless Wings & enjoyed them every time. The Garlic Parm Fries are also a great appetizer."
"We stopped by for the first time to give it a try. Not disappointed at all!! Fried pickles, Carolina Burger, Mild Buffalo wings and fries (we asked for extra crispy). Burger cooked perfectly at medium, lived the roll. Wings were also cooked perfectly, a lot of meat, tender and flavorful. Fried pickles were really good too. I'm not a big French fry fan but I LOVED the crispy ones in catchup with pepper sprinkled in it!! If you've not been, definitely give them a try. We will be going back to try some of the other sandwiches and sides. Oh Iforgot the Brussel sprouts - oh my gosh, they were so good! Really, they did a great job on the seasonings and the flavors across the board. The burger was excellent. We will definitely be back! Oh, and I should add? I loved the music they played as background noise, it was the perfect volume not obtrusive. Definitely my genre by the way, my personal opinion lol!"
"Great hole in the wall and love the regulars! Bartenders only like guys though, and the pool tables are broken. But it's a great experience besides that.!"
