"Highly recommend this place for a nice casual dinner spot! Everything was absolutely delicious, we did have one problem where our appetizer came out with our dinner but our waitress and the supervisor came over right away and apologized and took the appetizer off of our bill which I thought was very generous. Super relaxing atmosphere and amazing service! Also they have amazing gluten free options! I had their gluten free pasta and it was delicious!"
"Fresh, flavorful, and made with care--Capishe delivers Italian comfort food at its best. The house-made pasta is silky and satisfying, the pizza dough perfectly crisp, and every dish feels thoughtfully crafted with quality ingredients. It's the kind of food that keeps you coming back. The ambience matches the food--modern yet welcoming, with exposed ceilings, hanging lights, and sleek industrial floors that give it a cool, urban feel. It's casual but charming, making it a great spot for anything from a quick bite to a leisurely meal. No fuss, just really good Italian. Capishe?"

"Due Amici is honestly top 3 best pizza in Charlotte (in my humble opinion of course). This family owned, New York-esque shop offers a huge range of items but the star of the show has to be the different (pizza) pies.Order at the counter, wait for your large slice or slices to be warmed (if they aren't fresh out the oven) and be prepared to enjoy. Pro Tip: Grab some napkins, because you're almost guaranteed to get a little messy. They offer various toppings and extras for the folks who need a little something more on their pizza. The service/staff is always spot on, they keep the seating area neat & clean and wipe down the tables frequently. Parking normally isn't a problem, but keep in mind there is a movie theater next door so Friday & Saturday evenings can attract a small crowd which can make parking a little more competitive. Overall, Due Amici is a quality spot that brings a little slice of NY to North Charlotte definitely worth a visit."
"My experience was just okay. Intermezzo was on my list and driven by a lot, but I never stopped in. On a rainy Friday night, I decided to stop in. The hostess wasn't the friendliest but did give me an honest wait time. She sat me out on the patio, and it was a bit chilly even with the heaters, but I made do. The cocktail was my favorite part of the meal. I don't remember which one it was, but it was good. The server was nice enough but a bit slow coming and going, and could have been more attentive on a cold night. I ordered the piroska, which is essentially a stromboli with sour cream. While the sour cream gives it a nice twist, it's still nothing to write home about. While eating, I decided that I wouldn't order again and was underwhelmed by the experience. It was also overpriced given the mediocrity of the service and the food."
"Love their slice pizza, and steak sub. Cannolis are a plus! Always quick, familiar and friendly faces! The ambiance is adequate."
"Food is always good. Eggplant parm and chicken parm both were delicious! Had enough leftover for dinner for the next night! Service also friendly and fast."
"The best pizza I have had in Charlotte so far! I ordered the T. rex (which is essentially a meat lovers pie) on a Friday night. It took about 25 minutes to prepare. $24 in total. The pizza was delicious. It had such a generous portion of meat! The cheese was so fresh. The dough was the perfect texture. Each bite was soooo good! The 16" pizza was 8 slices and good for 2-3 people. Parking is a bit of a disaster, but once you get there, it's great! Indoor and outdoor seating."
"A great restaurant in uptown Charlotte! Check out the quality of this food! So good! Would recommend!"
"This place is not what you would expect from Sanford. We moved here from MPLS where there is so many different restaurants on every corner. I admit we are missing that aspect of our new city. So someone recommended La Dolce and I'm so glad they did. They had great pizza! The vibe is laid back and you don't feel like you are in Sanford. I wish they had a house salad rather then the specialty salads as nothing is better then a plain salad with pasta. M"
"Met up with my father for dinner. Had a late lunch so just ordered a salad...little did I know how massive these salads are!!! Served in a pizza crust baked into a bowl shape, this thing was way more than a single human needs, but tasted grate. Loaded with big chunks of bacon, this wedge salad is packed full of flavor. The salad is made up of iceberg lettuce with Roma tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles and a delusions blue cheese dressing, and it could honest feed 2 people as a whole meal. With optional add ons, you could get chicken added for an additional cost, but I did not need it. Ive always loved this spot, great for a romantic Italian dinner or an amazing pizza lunch buffet. I would recommend, and will certainly be back!"
"My husband and I recently visited this pizza spot, and I was amazed at how the pizza transported me back to the authentic taste of New York-style pizza. The cheese was exceptionally flavorful, and the balance of sauce was just perfect. We also tried the chicken and shrimp piaccota special, a delightful off-menu item they happily prepared for us. The shrimp were large and succulent, and although the chicken was a bit thin, we thoroughly enjoyed it, especially paired with the delicious sauce. The service, provided by Angelica, was outstanding--sweet and professional. I highly recommend this place to family and friends."
"I have nothing but good things to say about the food here. You will not be disappointed. Osteria LuCa is tucked away in Park Road Shopping Center. It's a small restaurant (a little loud and overcrowded), but I will forgive all that because of how good the food is. But be prepared to wait--whether you have a reservation or not. Every time we come here (with a reservation), we've had to wait upwards of 30 minutes before our table is ready. This place is packed on evenings and weekends, and they overbook. The food is worth the wait, but I sure wish they could honor reservation times."

The restaurant was nicely decorated with candles and flowers on the tables, and everything was so delicious from the drinks to the appetizers! Our table's favorite item was the white truffle garlic bread, which we will definitely be back for more. For my main course, I ordered the chicken parmesan. The flavor of the chicken was pretty good, but the texture was dry. The pasta it came with was also a little hard and it lacked flavor. As a result, I ate a piece of chicken for each piece of pasta so that the chicken offered some flavor to the pasta.Service was pretty good and fast. In fact, our appetizers came to our table not even five minutes after we ordered them!

My friend grabbed takeout pizza for my visit recently so my rating is only based on the food. The pizza here was fantastic and definitely what I was hoping it would be. I highly recommend takeout if you're in the area.

Random stop because the original place we went did not have food that day - and boy, what a find in Charlotte! The inside is super cozy, old school feel. They also have outdoor heated seating in the winter. Service is amazing, our server was very patient and helpful with our indecisiveness. If you can't decide one, the large allows half half choices And on Wednesdays, they do half off any bottle of wine!

Dined here for the first time and was not impressed by the salad. The chicken was cold and seemed like it was bought and not cooked on site. The pizza comes in two sizes and the smaller one has an option of an ancient grain crust. The pizza itself was flavourful and my party loved theirs. I was disappointed that they didn't have wings because that's always my go to when visiting pizzerias. The hostess was kind and gave me a side of pimento cheese which helped the taste of the salad. If you like pizza, this is a good local place to try and support.

Came here on a double date and had a fantastic time! My friend had been here previously and they raved about it so decided to try it out. Definitely upscale and had a nice chill vibe to it. Located in uptown next to Merchant and Trade rooftop. We actually walked in around 8 and were able to be seated without having a reservation. Everything was delicious. We tried everything from their Mussels, calamari, pork chop, steak, salmon, and fries. Everything was absolutely delicious and tasteful. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive (failed to get her name). We decided to get their dessert also. Chocolate torte and tiramisu. Both were very flavorful and definitely hit the sweet tooth craving afterward. Overall, I had a great experience and will be back to try other dishes.

"My girlfriend recently relocated from Huntersville to Troutman and while researching places to eat and drink I found Pellegrino's. Perusing their website it was nice to see they were originally from New Jersey as that is where we were both born and raised. Besides the food we were excited to see they also baked fresh bread and made homemade fresh mozzarella. We stopped in a couple of months ago and ordered a plain cheese pizza to go and a loaf of bread. Both were excellent. We returned to have lunch a couple of days ago and the pizza was excellent. On both occasions we had the pleasure of chatting with the owner. It was funny finding out that we frequented some of the same drinking establishments in NJ. Nice people and I highly recommend trying this place."
"I'm not a huge pizza fan but this place has good pizza! They serve more NY size slices, with just a little sauce, and mostly cheese. The service is usually pretty quick too. We've tried many pizza places and this is still our favorite in Charlotte."
"The pizza was amazing! We don't go out for pizza often because we have a pizza oven and make our own pizza most of the time. We did the margarita and made our own custom pizza. We also had the Cesar salad - also delicious. The service was just okay. At first, we asked the sit outside. All of the tables were covered in pollen and we had to ask to have them wiped. None of the umbrellas were up and it was super sunny so we ended up switching to be inside. The service was fine but didn't go out of their way to help you."
"I had high hopes getting pizza from Rosario's again thinking it may have improved. Don't get me wrong, this is still the best pizza in the area that I have tried but I was somewhat disappointed. We ordered a Sausage New York Pizza to go. The last time we ordered this a few years ago, it had strips of cured sausage all over the pizza. This time the sausage came shredded up on the pizza. It was a huge disappointment having shredded sausage on a pizza. When I got the pizza back to the house about a mile down the road, it wasn't hot at all. You might be thinking, "well maybe he showed up late to pick it up." Nope. I had to wait about 5 minutes after I paid for the pizza before it was ready. Overall, the pizza tasted ok. I liked the crust but the cool pizza and shredded sausage was a let down."
"Tried PS for the first time over the weekend watching NFL Playoffs. Ordered pizza with peppers and chicken breast. Super good, seasoned well, nice/hot and I believe 8 slices. I would highly recommend, I will definitely be ordering from them again. Also tried their bourbon chicken which was also good. A bit bready for my liking but flavors were there. I would definitely try it again."
"Tony's is the best place for no frills Italian food that hits the spot. I typically get the eggplant parm platter and it is a generous helping of eggplant, spaghetti and a side salad. It's normal for me to get two portions out of a serving. My fiancé enjoys their calzones because of how generous the sizes are and though there's an up charge for the premium toppings, they seem to include quite a bit of each ingredient. The staff is friendly and service is quick."
"If you love authentic Italian then you must try Basilico-Italiano. I chose to go on a Sunday for lunch to try their homemade lasagna. It is made on Sundays only. Appetizers are also half price from 12-4 on Sundays. My 6 year old can make a meal of meatballs, so we started with the large order of baked meatballs. When they arrived I could not believe they were the size of baseballs and beyond exceptional. Probably the best meatballs I have had at a restaurant in Charlotte. Our server, Michael paced the arrival of our plates perfectly and was attentive. The restaurant itself was cozy and reminded me of the Italian restaurants were have been to in NY. My Mom and I chose to share a small order of bruschetta and a small harvest salad. Both were fantastic! Finally we all split a small order of lasagna. We were stuffed and there was still half of the plate of meatballs left and half of the lasagna. All will be delicious leftovers. I cannot wait to go back and try more of their amazing menu."
"Many people may enjoy the food here, but it isn't for me. The calzone & pizza I had were drenched in olive oil and excessive garlic, leading me to believe that it might cause agiata later on. There was no discernible difference in the texture of the crust and body of the pizza. The flavors were decent ,when it was possible to taste them under the overwhelming assault of garlic saturating my taste buds . Perhaps Aglio Napoletana would be a more accurate name ?"
"Amazing pizza and food! Lots of unique beers to purchase on the shelves or enjoy at the bar. Love watching the soccer games here. Patio is lovely with the breeze and picnic tables. Good place to chat with locals and peek the dog bar across the street. Upstairs is larger with games and lounge areas."
"We dine here whenever we're in town. Great staff and service. Their specialty pizzas are delicious and so are their pasta entrees. The margherita pizza is our favorite. Their specialty pizzas are huge so do share."
"Order a cheese pizza to go. It was quite salty. Not sure if they changed the ingredients. It used to be my favorite place to get pizza."
"Went here for a couple of drinks and a pizza. Dani our bartender was really friendly, fun to talk to, and made it a great experience overall. Beers were very good. The wrathchild hazy is fantastic and they have some of the best mead outside of San Diego I have ever had here! The passion mead was my favorite. Great flavor. Had a new Mac and cheese pizza on the menu and it was fantastic. Really good sized bar pie, crust was crispy and Kenny the kitchen manager was also really friendly. Great experience with a good ambiance. Will definitely be back!"
"What a delicious spot!My husband and I both opted for the hangman's rare roast beef. I got the small and he got the large. The small is about the size of a burger and the large is HUGE!!! My husband eats all and he could only finish half! The horseradish is delicious and the roast beef is tender and so fresh. I loved the French fries, which have to be hand cut! The little girls loved their hotdogs and were asking for seconds. The environment is casual, laidback, bar type environment with indoor and outdoor seating. Kid friendly! Our waiter was so kind and helpful! Definitely a must visit while in wilkesboro."
"Just had the best turkey sub! Toasty roll with perfect amount of provolone,! Lettuce, tomato, mayo , oil and vinegar"
"We ordered take out and EVERYTHING was fantastic! Can't wait to come back! Chicken Parm and Marsala were delicious! Plentiful servings as well. Highly recommend."
"I visited this community restaurant today. It's delightful and quaint with staff who is extremely friendly and attentive. I had angel hair pasta with mushroom marinara sauce. It was really good. The sauce was a nice blend of sweet and tangy. The garlic bread and garden salad was (with house balsamic vinegar dressing) was good too. The salad was freshly chopped. I definitely recommend this restaurant."
"For a pizza place, the beer was damn good. The pizza wasn't as good as I was hoping for: the crust was great, but there wasn't much in terms of toppings (I got the four cheese topping pizza, and I liked the mix, but it maybe covered a third to two/fifths of the pizza).I'm not a big fan of the restaurant itself, either. It was claustrophobic, and the wooden chairs are not comfortable on - well - your butt.I might try it again, although probably not unless the friend I was with wants to go there again; she liked it more than me, so I just smiled and said it was great. I really did like the beer thought - that was exceptional."
"We were searching for some Italian food on a random Sunday and we're out this way so I discovered this restaurant, and I am so glad I did! The chicken Parmesan was absolutely delicious!!! I would definitely love to go back just for that! The portions are a great size, I am with chicken and pasta, no salad. 5/5. I did have to ask for bread, but it was worth the wait! The lasagna was also a 4.5/5. I personally didn't love the pizza crust, so I wouldn't go back for pizza. It was hard, not chewy at all, how I like it unless it's super thin crust. Service was great, our server was super sweet. We will be back!"
"I have found my new little pizza restaurant. Went on a Wednesday evening for dinner and had no issues. Service was great and the food was top notch. My boys had the kids spaghetti with a meatball and they both devoured their meals. My husband and I split the pizza and a Caesar salad. Man, $20+ is quite steep for a pizza, but it was well worth it. It was delicious! We'll definitely be back."
"Luisa's might be my favorite pizza in Charlotte. The marinara and the cheese are just so good. I recently got a build your own pizza with just extra cheese and it was 10/10. I ordered delivery today to my job for a coworker's going away party. Luisa's does not deliver, but they use a third party app called Slice. I ordered 2 days ahead for a certain delivery time and our pizza was delivered right on time. My only complaint is that it wasn't hot. It was lukewarm at best which is odd because we are only about 6-8 minutes drive from Luisa's. I don't think it was Luisa's fault which is why I'm still giving 5 stars. Other than that, delicious!"
"Food was delicious! Small inside but comfortable and in nice weather outside seating. Service was good but could have been better. Had to ask for ketchup and extra napkins twice+"
"First time here after the previous rebranding of the past restaurant. We booked a reservation for a Friday night and was seated fairly quick. There was plenty of seating but not a huge fan of the low table that we were sat at. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. No issues there. We ordered the carbonara and Alfredo pasta. I'm big on saucy pasta so I'm happy about that. You can tell that the pasta was made fresh and al dente (it was slightly chewy). For drinks we ordered the Tiramisu martini and boy let me tell you... they were made strong. Overall I would say we had a good experience."
"I actually ate here yesterday. It was so good I had to double back. I initially went to the other location on Mt Holly- Huntersville Rd, I was disappointed from my experience there. I wanted 2 slices of Italian sausage pizza. They told me they don't offer Italian sausage per slice just cheese and pepperoni. Keep in mind I was just at the other location at Overland the day before. And I've never had this problem before. I didn't argue, I politely left. I was gonna go to Davinci's but I wanted to give them another shot. So I went back to the Overland location and received my order with no issues. Consistency is a big deal for me. All locations need to be on the same page."
