"Wanted something different for lunch and Banh Mi Brothers had a great solution to my craving. Ordered the Porchetta - Heo Quay at the counterand about 7-10 minutes later they brought the sander to my table. The bread can really hold up to the meat and sauce. The meat itself was flavorful. The kimchi provided a cool, crispy contrast to the meat and bread. Put it all together and there's a lot going on in this sandwich!There are several tables inside and even a few on the patio m. With the quick service this could easily be a go-to for a quicker, tasty lunch."

"Went here on a Thursday afternoon; I was the only person there until a family followed me in. The workers were in the back for a bit (I believe chatting), and sort of just looked at me and continued their conversation. I stood there awkwardly for a minute or two until someone walked over to take my order.The appearance of the business was super unique. I loved the aesthetic and the mural. I ordered the Mint-oreo milkshake ($8.25) and waited about 6ish minutes for my order. It looked very appetizing, and tasted just as good. I ended up almost finishing it before I even got home.If I lived here, I could totally see myself being a regular in the summer. I also would have totally loved to try that Apple Pie milkshake.Side note: I saw in someone else's review that they thought the set-up of this business was weird, and I have to agree. The flow inside is a bit odd. Ample parking, fast and friendly service, and super reasonable prices for healthy meal options.I ordered the Garden Of Eden Flatbread, which came with choice of side. The plant-based chorizo and potato soup was flavorful, but the flatbread made my day. I thought it wouldn't be filling enough because it's pretty small, but the soup-flatbread combo kept my tummy happy until late. Outdoor seating was icing on the cake.Will definitely be back the next time I travel through Charlotte for work!"

"Really great pho place!! My favorite recently shut down and this was highly rated, so I decided to give it a try. It has quickly topped the ranks! It's really the only place I'll go to because the flavor of their broth is so tasty and they give a generous portion, plus no shortage of toppings. There's plenty of seating inside the restaurant, so you can eat in or get takeout. Takeout has never taken more than 10 minutes for me to pick up, so they are on it! Keep that in mind when ordered. "This was my first boba tea, and I was excited. The place was immaculately kept. I noticed an impressive 97.0 sanitation score. The woman behind the counter was helpful and patient. Truthfully though, it was hard to understand everything she said due to her accent. After she carefully went over the different options I settled on a small pineapple/coconut boba. The tea was amazingly cold and delightfully refreshing. Not too sweet... A unique taste that I loved. I liked that each tea was made fresh to order, and the way they sealed the top of the cup so no spills! The wide straws were novel and just right for consuming this drink. The first few sips were great, until it just wasn't anymore. There were so, so many boba that it interfered with the enjoyment of the drink. At one point the boba seemed to be replicating itself. With each sip this experience morphed into a high-end drink nightmare! The boba tasted like chewy pebbles of goo that expanded in my stomach. It caused my stomach to ache. I began discarding the boba into a napkin until I finally gave up and tossed the entire drink out. I didn't even have 1/3 of it. I felt wasteful but really... No treat should be this much work! Five dollars directly in the trash. Will I ever drink boba again? There is a probability.Will I request less or NO boba? Certainly."

"My Story Cafe is a "must stop" spot any time I am in Charlotte. I stumbled upon MSC when exploring the uptown area during the summer of 2023 and still dream about their Vietnamese coffee. Best $8 I'll ever spend. This morning I stopped in on my way out of town and they were sold out of VC so I tried the Cuban espresso on a whim and was blown away. So sweet and the flavor of the coffee was dancing on my taste buds. The service can't be beat - the owner is so kind and generous. "Apples give you more energy than coffee", I've tried both and I disagree, I guess it depends on your definition of the word energy. "Broccoli contains more protein than steak", no, no it doesn't. Not by weight at least and that is how people would make this comparison. People aren't all that bright these days and don't need iffy "facts" to confuse them. JMHO."

I ordered a breakfast bagel - I thought it was going to be a bit bigger. There were a few crumbles of egg and bacon; it was mainly just cheese on the bagel. Also, it was microwaved for a couple of seconds, which made the bagel chewy. I was hoping it would be toasted. The taste was ok. I wouldn't order it again. I'll try something else next time. The coffee was pretty good - I had a drink that contained espresso, and it was strong (which I prefer). It's definitely better than Starbucks. I will be visiting again."

"I really wanted to love this place but unfortunately I left quite disappointed after my first visit. When I walked in, I was promptly greeted. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They went through the menu and provided recommendations. I ended up ordering the lobster mac and cheese which is quite pricey (~$24). When I got my food, it was barely lukewarm. The inside was basically cold as if it wasn't cooked all the way through. Taste wise....it was okay. Nothing remarkable. It comes with a truffle oil on top which I think just made the meal greasy and didn't really add anything in terms of taste. I also ordered the mini chocolate chips which were really good and were the best part of my meal. Ambiance - had light music playing in the inside which was nice pop music, not too loud or distracting. Parking - this restaurant is located in a strip mall/shopping center so there is plenty of parking available."
