"I have found my new little pizza restaurant. Went on a Wednesday evening for dinner and had no issues. Service was great and the food was top notch. My boys had the kids spaghetti with a meatball and they both devoured their meals. My husband and I split the pizza and a Caesar salad. Man, $20+ is quite steep for a pizza, but it was well worth it. It was delicious! We'll definitely be back."
"Okay so 3 stars is being kind and I only give them that because the wait staff and was really nice. If I had to judge the place just by the wait staff they would get 5 stars however the food.. yikes. Okay so we stopped by a few weeks ago and I had a Greek chicken salad small size, my daughter had chicken fingers and fries and for our dessert a piece of chocolate cake. The chicken Greek salad had one tiny tomato on it - when I say tiny I mean like the size of your thumbprint. It was not enough food for a meal and so we ordered the chocolate cake slice to help with that and because we love chocolate. Y'ALL. This thing felt like it had been in the fridge for at least a few days (very cold). It wasn't moist at all completely dry and even the icing didn't have a good flavor. Maybe we will be back in a year or two to see if it's improved but for now our business will go to the Italian place in downtown Kings Mountain."

"Stopped while on business, restaurant right across the street from hotel. Probably one of the best Italian places I've been in years, definitely top 5 and I've been around awhile! Shout out to Megan, she goes above and beyond! This place is definitely worth checking into."
"When I heard that Slice of Napoli had sold their business, I was legitimately dismayed. My favorite spot for pizza, calzones, and hot sandwiches suddenly gone? Say it ain't so! But, I definitely had hope for the future, as I learned the people who bought it also own long-time Winston area favorites TJ's deli (in the same shopping center) and Duke's. I also learned they kept the recipe for pizza sauce intact, and many of the menu favorites.I finally decided to shed my woe, and roll into the freshly named Pizza Greco. This name is accurate, as in addition to most of what you remember from Napoli, there is now a nice selection of Greek sandwiches and foods like Gyros. The space inside has also been seriously upgraded making it feel larger, as well as new upholstery on the booths, which was vastly needed. Drinks are now Pepsi products and self-serve, and it's all counter service, which I also like a lot. My one negative on the drinks, is the tea is no longer brewed, and the replacement brand has a strange smokey flavor I don't like. For food, my wife ordered a regular calzone with pepperoni, and I ordered a regular stromboli which comes with up to 3 toppings. I went for pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms. After about 15-20 minutes, our giant pizza burritos were up and piping hot. They were, as they were before, MASSIVE. We each had half, and enjoyed the other half later for dinner. The taste was awesome, still plenty of high quality cheese, hers both mozzarella and ricotta. Toppings were definitely not skimpy, plenty of all types in mine and hers. If we had one complaint, not enough of the delicious sauce for dipping! We each needed another full cup to finish our other half, and be mindful, there is a 50 cent charge for extra sauce. In general, the prices are higher than what we saw before at Slice of Napoli, but really, that was because they were so much lower than anyone else in the area. Current prices at Pizza Greco are on par with what you'd find at most other similar restaurants in the area. It's impossible not to compare the two, but this will be the last time I do it. I'm happy to report that Pizza Greco is going to make you happy when you visit, and we look forward to visiting again!"
"Staff are always courteous when placing order for pick up and when we pick up order! Son loves the wings and we are huge fans of the buffalo chicken pizza! It's a family favorite for us!!!!"
"This is a Local place. They have a check in offer you get free mozzarella sticks so it's a nice added touch to eat here. They are pretty good too!I have noticed there is also a special on line for Groupon as well. The menu here is pretty big and a wide variety of items to pick from. From Subs to Italian food, vegetarian, and more! There are a few dishes I have had that are speghetti based, I really like the Speghetti A la Venus and seem to get every time I come.My Mom had a sub and enjoyed it here.Tried the steak quesadilla and it had a really nice flavor. It is a Family ran local business and a lot of locals frequent here and if asked they recommend coming here. The menu clips are examples of what they have , there is so much more. They are open a bit later than alot of places close by.It's a pretty good place if your looking to have a wide variety of choices."
"Best pizza in the East! Just like being in Jersey at the boardwalk! The lasagna is magnificent! Small place and everyday atmosphere but food is wonderful! Don't miss it because it's quaint!"
"Went there today with my family of five. We ordered two pizzas. There was a large party there but they had just received their food and the other patrons were done eating. So it was us and 3 other people who came in after us. It was later in the afternoon on a Sunday. Service was so slow. For a while I thought there was only one lady working the bar and the whole restaurant (who was working her booty off), but eventually I saw two others. Sp i didnt quit understand what was going on. Anyhow, we eventually got our food. And to be honest, we were not impressed. We ordered the Margherita pizza and a pep and mushroom. The crust and pizza itself was very blandand minimal toppings. I didnt grab any ohotos because inwas too hungry to rememberthat today lol..... Will definitely stick with Empire as our go-to pizza spot.Perhaps other food selections are better. But the food paired with the service and other reviews I've read will still me away in the future."
"Monday is burger night! You can't get a burger here any other day. Six dollars for a burger on Monday! If they did burgers other days they could easily charge twice as much. Yes, even one "side" included for just six dollars! I hope I'm not ruining the special, because it is special! Who goes out Monday night, right? Keep the special, add burgers to the menu for the rest of the week! It is very tasty, highly recommended! I have eaten other foods here. The Greek and Italian food is also delicious. This night I did takeout. Service is all round excellent! You won't be sorry if you go! Look at the lettuce and tomato! *Ate my fries on the way home!"
"The biggest thing I can speak of is this place's customer service and accommodating children craziness. The food (sliced pizza X 2) was delicious per my kids. Myself and older kid ate Chinese takeout from next door with plans to eat outside - but the bees were too many to eat comfortably outside. The Chinese place doesn't have seating indoors. So we went inside at pizza locale and they allowed us to eat our two plates of Chinese food inside the restaurant - albeit my other two had their pizza. We purchased sodas and were very appreciative. Although I personally have not had there pizza the service and tummy rubs the kids shared following their lunch slices makes me want to return and dine the whole family. Thank you for your understanding!!!"
"Food was so good I forgot to take a pic!! I ordered the chicken parmigiana...so good! Service was great. I've also been here for brunch which was also really good. Family style Italian dining with an authentic Italian vibe. Yesss"
"I'm not typically a fan of Italian food, but Mario Italian Restaurant completely won me over. The Seafood Diavlo was exceptional, with a fantastic balance of protein to pasta that left me impressed. It's definitely going on my list of recommendations! Our waiter, Travis, was incredibly helpful and added to the experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right amount of natural lighting to make it feel welcoming. I'll definitely be back!"

Ok, I am not making this up. This stromboli is the best stromboli I have ever had in my entire life. The dough to meat to cheese ratio was *perfectly* executed. Each bite was full of all the ingredients which is a big win for a stromboli roll. As usual, we ordered way too much food and we also tried a grandma pie as well as a white pizza. I loved the dollops of marinara on the grandma pie. The white pizza was a little bland for me, but then again it is a pretty mild flavor profile up against the grandma pie. I'm not kidding, we were eating pizza for 3 days after this! The pizzas were huge. I'm definitely going back here.

Amazing service that's hard to come by in this area. The food was so flavorful! The Mare was full of delicious seafood. Our 13 year old said the meatballs were the best she's ever had. Lasagna, chicken Parmesan and the tagliatelle were all hits with the family. And I can't stop thinking about the tiramisu! I can't wait to go back (after we eat all the leftovers we brought home)!

Really enjoyed this place ! They've done a great job inside. Move and clean and well stocked with everything you need . Great menu ! Something for everyone . Pizza by the slice I warn you are huge ! Friendly service and some orders are made fresh to order. Like my chicken souvlaki. Which was really good fresh veggies and nice marinated chicken and great tzatziki. I only wish their pita wasn't as chewy . I like them softer. They come with fries which are nice and lightly seasoned . My friends had the Greek salad which was also fresh and full of veggies and lots on nice fresh feta. They also give you two whole tubs of dressing .The cheese pizza was like I said huge. But nice thin crust. Crunchy and perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Well worth a try. The folks here have done a nice job of keeping a mainstay going at this location. Super clean inside and a few outside seatings as well. Great lunch spot or to go or dinner. They really have a great varied menu .

Best pizza and food ever in Catawba County! Authentic Italian pizza. The cornmeal used in the crust crushes it 100%! I must impressively say that they also have the best hamburger in town! Crazy lunch deals. Love the owner. So authentic. His staff is awesome. They also sponsor our YMCA sports teams. Never heard a bad word said about Amalfi's.

Finally made it to Richie's Italian Bistro in Riverwalk. The staff, the vibe, and the food was a great experience. My hubby is a New Yorker and really enjoyed the pizza. He didn't critique it like he does the other "fake" pizzas . Very nice establishment with big screens by the bar and karaoke in the corner from 8-12 midnight. Richie's staff gave us excellent customer service. It's a win for us! We will be back with friends.

"Love Oggi so much! Everything I've had here is delicious. Service is fantastic, waitstaff always makes you feel like royalty. Cute place, check them out!"
"Great pizza. I just wish they would offer delivery. Chicken fingers and their chef salad is also very good."
"Went here for a little solo dinner and it was so good! Everything came out fresh and hot. It was busy even on a weekday so you know people must like it. The Arancini was delightful. It's fried balls of rice and cheese so it's obviously going to be good. The sauces it came with were also really tasty. I also got the chicken parmesan calzone which is the love of my life actually. The dough is great you can tell they put a lot of time and love into it. The sauce is really balanced. Marinara sauce can often be too sour or acidic for me but this one absolutely wasn't. So much cheese as well. Just overall a great experience!"
"One of the best pizzas I've had outside of NY! They say 1 slice is equal to 4 slices but I'm not sure what type of pizza they are comparing it to... I was able to finish almost 2 slices and I wouldn't normally be able to eat almost 8 slices of any pizza but the slices are very large!"
"We ordered take out and EVERYTHING was fantastic! Can't wait to come back! Chicken Parm and Marsala were delicious! Plentiful servings as well. Highly recommend."
"I had the chicken Milanese with pasta and it was excellent. The cheese bread was excellent as well. Service was great. I would go there again."
"This was our first time here. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. I had the meaty pizza and my wife had the lasagna. Along with some breadsticks to start, everything was great. This will be a regular place moving forward."
"I don't event know where to start, between the food, the drinks, the dessert and service, everything was outstanding. It reminded me of a super traditional Italian restaurant with a modern but still authentic twist. We got pizza, beef short ribs and Caesar salad with shrimp, everything tasted homemade and fresh. We celebrated someone's birthday and even got a free dessert. We went for the cannoli cake, picture a deconstructed cannoli but in cake form! It was one of the best things I ever had! The restaurant is in fort mill close to carowinds and such a quick drive on the highway from clt! Don't sleep on this one, if you are looking for a nice Italian feast!"
"Pizza crust was fabulous. We ate outside but the servers were fast and very attentive. My steak salad was perfect and while I meant to have it as a side with a piece of pizza, it was almost too filling with flavorful, shaved steak. Def enough for a meal. My daughter got the kids spaghetti and the marinara was fresh and homemade. Would absolutely come back!"
"If you love authentic Italian then you must try Basilico-Italiano. I chose to go on a Sunday for lunch to try their homemade lasagna. It is made on Sundays only. Appetizers are also half price from 12-4 on Sundays. My 6 year old can make a meal of meatballs, so we started with the large order of baked meatballs. When they arrived I could not believe they were the size of baseballs and beyond exceptional. Probably the best meatballs I have had at a restaurant in Charlotte. Our server, Michael paced the arrival of our plates perfectly and was attentive. The restaurant itself was cozy and reminded me of the Italian restaurants were have been to in NY. My Mom and I chose to share a small order of bruschetta and a small harvest salad. Both were fantastic! Finally we all split a small order of lasagna. We were stuffed and there was still half of the plate of meatballs left and half of the lasagna. All will be delicious leftovers. I cannot wait to go back and try more of their amazing menu."
"Now this is amazing pizza!!! As a discerning NY'er who has been searching far and wide for excellent pizza, I tried this place after picking up some things at Walmart. I can't tolerate too much tomato sauce so I ordered a small Bianca, and another pie (16" I think), half pepperoni. The gentleman who helped me was so nice and actually recommended I order a pie when I almost ordered four slices (which would have actually been more expensive and less slices). I was so grateful for his help and walked out with two fresh pies. When I got home I couldn't even wait to take my light jacket off to eat one of the white slices, it was DELICIOUS!!! Next I had a pepperoni slice with which I added some hot honey that we had in the house, equally as delicious! There is plenty of roomy seating inside to have lunch or dinner, they offer a few desserts which I can't speak to, yet, and their prices are fair. I'm so glad we found them!"
"If you are looking for a good Italian restaurant with great prices and service, go to Medo's. We had manicotti and ravioli and they were both very tasty. The bread sticks with their homemade sauce was delicious. The can't beat the prices for any local restaurant."
"This was our first time dining in and it was a great experience. Our waitress was new, but super sweet. I'm assuming one of the managers/owners/ or something was there eating with her family because she was able to help our waitress with questions. It just felt like a family environment. They love kids which is great because I have a toddler. The food is excellent whether you eat there or take out. I've had pizza, wings, and most recently the fettuccini Alfredo... yes, I know that's not real Italian, but I'm pregnant and it's what I wanted. It was a great creamy sauce."
"First trip to Frankie's--We did take out pizza and were absolutely surprised how much we liked the pizza. The crust was flavorful and the toppings were not overpowering but flavorful. This is probably my new favorite in the Granite Falls area. We will be repeat customers."
"Everything I've tried so far, I love. The pizzas truly remind me of Italy. Our new go to place!"
"This was my first time going here. It's kind of hidden in a shopping center and looks very small from the outside. It's much bigger inside. I ordered a Stromboli classic and it was huge. I ordered a small. It was very good and cooked perfectly. My wife ordered a custom calzone and she loved it as well. Our waitress was absolutely great. Great service and was on top of everything we needed. She overheard us talking about it being my birthday and gave us a free cannoli to split. She even had them write happy birthday on the plate. It was overall a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place for you."
"Places like these make me miss my hometown. This place is legit awesome! How many Italian/southern restaurants exist?!! I came here around 5 pm on a Sunday. It wasn't crowded at all. We had the option of getting the buffet at $9.99 or the menu. Since I wasn't familiar with the restaurant and I didn't feel like getting up, I opted for the menu. They had a lot of great selections on the menu. Alfredo, pasta, lasagna, fried chicken, etc. I love the variety of the menu. I got the shrimp Alfredo. It was about 15-20 mins prior to the food coming out. The Alfredo smelled amazeballs!!!! It was some of the best Alfredo I ever tasted. Definitely no complaints about this place. Every time I'm visiting family, this will be a go-to spot for sure."
"Great pizza. Nice crispy crust, not too thick and doughy. Wings were a disappointment."
"Best veal parm ever!! Magnificent meal. Delicious Italian Wedding soup-chocked full. No complaints. Wonderful dining experience!"
"My friend and I both ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. The serving size was amazing for the price. The sauce was so good I was dipping the garlic bread in it. Speaking of the garlic bread, my friend took one bite and said "Oh my god. It's the perfect amount of garlic." My salad was so fresh and the homemade ranch in the cup on the side was amazing. We also ordered a side of fries on the side to split and they were perfectly salted. Our waitress checked on us multiple times and made sure our drinks never stayed empty. We were so full that we had to take the rest of the food in to-go boxes to devour later that night. We went on Sunday about 4:30 and did not have to wait, and the ambiance was quiet and peaceful. I recommend this place on Sunday if you're planning a romantic date."
"Just go there. It's fantastic. Been there a few times now and the food is great. One of the best cheesesteaks in North Carolina. Don't forget the fried portobello mushrooms!!!"
"We love this place! Their Lobster Ravioli is incredible! In fact, my wife and I believe it is the best we have ever had!"
"Amalie's is a popular restaurant in K-ville and I understand why! While passing through one day we stopped to have dinner, the decor definitely reminds me of an old school Italian restaurant. We ordered the Mozzarella sticks to start and also received bread to start. Those mozzarella sticks could not have come out more hot! I love when my food comes out piping hot. The bread was also really good, I saved most of it for our entrees. We ordered the gnocchi bolognese and the smoked chicken ravioli. Both came with the option of a soup or a salad and we both got salads. The salads were quite sizable and came in a chilled bowl, I'm already sold and I haven't even gotten my entree yet! The entrees were awesome. My gnocchi was cooked perfectly, not sticky, and definitely hot! The raviolis were large, definitely filled well, and the pink sauce they came in was delicious. At first the price concerned me but the quantity of food and the addition of bread and salad included definitely makes this meal worth it. We got a piece of tiramisu and limoncello cake to go and that sealed the deal. Their tiramisu takes the top spot out of all the tiramisu I have tried. The limoncello cake is also something you shouldn't pass up! 5/5 100% returning"
