"Very good ice cream. The one in the picture is vanilla with sprinkles and cake. They even had two vegan flavors if you can't have dairy."
"Went here on a Thursday afternoon; I was the only person there until a family followed me in. The workers were in the back for a bit (I believe chatting), and sort of just looked at me and continued their conversation. I stood there awkwardly for a minute or two until someone walked over to take my order. The appearance of the business was super unique. I loved the aesthetic and the mural. I ordered the Mint-oreo milkshake ($8.25) and waited about 6ish minutes for my order. It looked very appetizing, and tasted just as good. I ended up almost finishing it before I even got home.If I lived here, I could totally see myself being a regular in the summer. I also would have totally loved to try that Apple Pie milkshake.Side note: I saw in someone else's review that they thought the set-up of this business was weird, and I have to agree. The flow inside is a bit odd. I'm not sure why they don't just bring the items to the front, but it wasn't too much of a hassle just to walk to the back to grab my drink and leave.--------Overall:*Mint-oreo milkshake: 9.8/10*Service: 6/10*Appearance: 9/10Total rating: 8.3/10 (or a 4.1/5, rounded to 4/5 for Yelp)Total spent: $8.93"
"This place has a little bit of everything! From coffee to ice cream to local goods! I loved walking through the shop and seeing what all they had to offer. It's super cute inside and very welcoming. There's lots of space and table to work or meetup with friends. It was a real chill atmosphere that I like a lot.I purchased some local honey that we love. It was really nice to be able to buy it there. We usually buy our local honey from the farmers market but sometimes it's hard to drive down there so this was super convenient for us. We also ordered a few of their seasonal lattes, mine was just okay. I also tried a breakfast sandwich, that was just okay too. Not bad, but lacked some flavor. I think next trip I'll stick to the sweets and see how those are. They had a large selection of sweets and that is right up my alley. I'll definitely come back to check out more items and a differnt coffee. Great spot overall!!"
"Great little spot just a few steps off Main Street. Delicious ice creams and lots of space for sitting to enjoy your treat right there."
"I've been waiting to try this place; honestly, it did not disappoint. Service was friendly and prompt, and the ambiance was super cute and bright. It would be a great place to work or study. I ordered the matcha soft serve in a cone, which was so good. It's not too sweet and comparable to my matcha soft serve in Little Tokyo in LA. I am so glad I finally made it, and I look forward to returning. If you're a matcha fiend like me, this is your spot."
"Parking is limited, however the staff is wonderful. It's nice to always try beforeYou buy lol . I love that their ice cream rotates monthly but they keep the top sellers year round . It's so bright and welcoming. I love this location"
"I got a cookies and cream paleta for free before the Charlotte FC game, and it was absolutely delicious! Creamy, flavorful, and a perfect treat on a hot day. After trying this, I can definitely say it's worth a visit. I'll be coming back soon to try more of their paletas!"
"Great service and really sweet staff. I am looking forward to making this a place to come to often in Charlotte. Very thankful!!"
"Food is always good. Coffee even better and stellar service. Would definitely recommend for a quick breakfast or afternoon pick me up."
"Just cute is all I can say. Old fashioned ice cream that floods you with nostalgia. Lots of flavors and huge scoops. It's clean and simple as it should be since it's about the ice cream and not much else. It's great for the family with plenty of outdoor seating - tables with umbrellas- a deck with ample seating and park benches here there and everywhere. It offers rides and a few other attractions for the little ones. My chocolate raspberry was rich and delish in a old fashioned chocolate dipped cone. Be sure to check out the train riding the train up above- nice touch!"
"Wow... I am really surprised this place has a three star rating. It was exactly what I hoping it was. An old diner/soda shop for the 1950s and it delivered! It is super cute inside and they still have the eat at counter, which is a rare find these days. The waitress was tentative and made great suggestions for our meal. I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and it was great! I could have used a bit more Buffalo sauce but I didn't ask. The sandwich was nice and toasted on a hoagie bun. The wife had a Ruben and it was delicious per her opinion as I don't get down with Ruben's. The fries were okay, we had the curly and cottage variety. Next time we will go with our daughter and get a milkshake! I am sure she will love it and we are excited to go back for another round."
"Wonderful friendly staff. Great care and attention to food and service. A beautiful place environment to dine in. Recommend the big red sandwich it was delicious. We can't wait to return."

My review is only based off one item. The oreo milkshake. The shake is made with real ice cream. So thick you need a spoon and a straw. Comes with whipped cream and oreo crumble on top. I opted out of the whipped cream but def needed the oreo crumble.Did not disappoint! Comes in one size and I ended up devouring the whole thing. THIS PLACE IS CARD ONLY!Parking is an open lot with a lot of other establishments so be prepared to drive around for a min.

I really enjoyed the ambiance, service , and coffee selections here . This is a perfect place to have a cup of coffee in a REAL cup and take in the day , chit chat with a friend or conduct business. Armani was our cashier and server and was extremely pleasant. I really liked the sofa area .

I go by this place all the time, and finally was able to go inside to try. It's a small ice cream shop located in a shared shopping center. There is plenty of shared parking. The staff are friendly. They have a whole case of dairy free options, which is amazing. I was able to try the peanut colada and the lemon lime basil ended up getting them in the lime basil which was a nice treat. Some of the toppings you desire may be in the back. The prices are a little bit steep. Will definitely come back and try again another day. Hope you enjoy.

The strawberry cream sandwich and the Matcha Kuromitsu Kinako latte were amazingly delicious! I can't recall all that was in it but I know that I thoroughly enjoyed it

These desserts are amazing, and every single one of us came up with an interesting combination. We were all looking our little wooden sticks at the end, not wanting to miss a drop. The quality of product is great and the price is reasonable. The staff was really pleasant and patient with all the kids and their choices. Indoor and outdoor covered seating was offered in a clean fresh environment. Though parking was a bit of a challenge it is a unique treat and worth it.

Nothing is overly sweet and they definitely do Japanese ice cream correctly. The inside is adorable and clean. One big down side of this place is the parking. It's located in Plaza Midwood so I usually have to walk a few blocks after searching for parking for at least 30 minutes. I guess it's a good way to burn off the calories you will be consuming. There is also a Vietnamese restaurant next door that this place share a wall (more like a window) with and we always creep on what the patrons at the restaurant are ordering. Overall, it's a great place to walk to and grab an ice cream or bubble tea.

"Good ice cream and serving size. Could use soft serve custard. Very clean and the staff were nice and helpful"
"What a gem of a place disguised as a hole in the wall off a small strip mall on W Sugar Creek Road! It's a small walk up window where you order. There is no place to sit and eat so think of it as a grab n' go. They are only open for lunch and dinner, and not late dinner so you have to plan appropriately to make it during their business hours -- 11am-7pm! They are also closed Sunday and Monday so keep that in mind!I came towards the end of the day on a Tuesday around 6pm (they close at 7pm) and I did have to wait for about 30 mins total. There was one person in front of me and we waited about 5 mins to order and then once we ordered it took about 25 mins. There were several people waiting in their cars that had already ordered, which to me a wait is a good sign... people don't wait around for bad food! I have heard they have quite the line of people typically lining the sidewalk on a regular basis so I know I'm lucky it was only a 30 min wait as it sounds like it can be much longer! So what I'm saying is... be prepared to wait, but don't fret -- it's definitely worth it!I know what you're thinking... can we just skip to the good part already -- THE FOOD!!! Ok here we go, I ordered the DBG Burger with fries and a drink. I customize my burger do you have cheddar cheese, pickles and onions and for my drink option I went with the pineapple lemonade (and yes that pineapple lemonade was as good as it sounds!) -- The burger was good! Loved how the onions were diced, but the flavor wasn't too strong. I asked for extra pickles and got them! Cheese was fully melted. Not to mention the bun had a little salt on it spicing up the flavor. All in all it was a good burger. I'm not big on fries, but DANG! I couldn't get enough of the seasoning on them! Finally, the Pineapple Lemonade was so delicious, it is NOT to be skipped! The staff was so pleasant and super nice! So that was just icing on the cake and honestly made up for having to wait a bit :)Next time I can't wait to try the nachos or Philly fries and maybe the hot dog or grilled cheese... but only time will tell! All in all... I am sold and will be adding this into my restaurant rotation!"
"My neighbor recommended this place. My hubby and I have been twice. Good home made ice cream, and the staff is always very polite. Several flavors to choose from as well."
"We went on Sunday and I had a milkshake and my wife made a small sundae (which was plenty big for one person). It's a family-run business and it's neat, clean, and fun. There are about 7-8 soft serve stations to choose from with multiple combos. I had a chocolate-vanilla shake with fresh coconut and whipped cream added and it was EXCELLENT. My wife had a Tahitian vanilla sundae with numerous toppings including peanuts, cookies, hot fudge, caramel sauce, and whipped cream. Dynamite. The owner is teaching his kids how to help the customers and its great to see the whole family involved. We will definitely be going back to support this local small business."
"Just got a Peanut Butter Overload ice cream cake from here for a birthday celebration. It was a big hit with everyone! So yummy!! Highly recommend!"
"I needed some cake. Cake is one of my weaknesses. Smallcakes makes the most moist and delicious cupcakes around. These will fall apart as you try to eat them, but you'll be savoring every crumb. The cakes are perfectly flavored and baked and the frostings are sweet, smooth, and serve as the perfect compliment to their cake pairing. The staff is friendly and fast. They get orders out the door here. You can dine right inside or take your Smallcakes on the go. Pricy but the quality is so worth the cost. Go grab some today. You will not be disappointed."
"My absolute favorite burger in charlotte hands down! It is walking distance from my boyfriend's apartment which is quite dangerous :D The staff seems nice but I have never really interacted with them because they have those self-serve monitors. I have never thought of the place as dirty, it is always nice and clean."
"Shake Shack is the new family burger place that offers milkshakes, different lemonade drinks, and crinkle fries options. White truffle burgers were the big feature, so we to give them a try. The sauce added a nice savory flare to the cheese, burger, and fried onions on topped. What I like about their burger they are filling, but don't give your stomach that after heavy bloating feeling you regret. Now, I always get the cheese fries. I am not a big fan, but what's a burger without fries, especially crinkle one. I think it may be the grease they use on them. The staff is always nice and walks around to make sure you are OK."
"Amazing ice cream! Friendly staff. The best is the sea salt caramel when it's in season."
"Located a mere stone's throw from the wildly popular La Unica and even closer to the highly rated El Cafetal, I figured this little inconspicuously situated Mexican joint might be a hidden gem. Armed with a $10 off coupon, my wife and I decided to try dinner on a weeknight to find out for ourselves.I ordered a chicken burrito combo that was huge and loaded with shredded chicken but I found it to be pretty bland and lacking in red sauce. The cheese queso was average as were the chips and dip. My wife's tacos were okay as were the sides (beans and rice). As a matter of fact, everything was just okay including the service and atmosphere. The thought of returning does not excite me."
"This is an institution! It is now $1.50 cone and it is soft serve chocolate, vanilla or a swirl with both-waffle, sugar or cake cone. You can also get your scoop in a cup with free sprinkles or a free dip in chocolate! The owner is so nice and she has many other sweet treat options. Parking is minimal-"
"I wanted to add an update to my first Review.I have made Tita's a favorite of mine! Alone with a delicious coffee, a sweet treat or empanada.....this is an amazing way to spend "Me Time!" Always the Best in the Yummy department....and equally importantly.....is the peaceful - "sit a spell" atmosphere.Make it your special place, too!"
"This is a charming place nestled in the mountains. The food has a southern and home cooked vibe. The place itself is pretty small but there is seating outside. I went a couple times during a trip to NC. The servers were really kind and helpful. The restaurant is right next to a river, too. The prices are good and if you're looking to make memories at a greasy spoon type place this is definitely worth a visit!"
"Ordered the Chicken parm for the 3rd time. Delicious. Good size portion and lots of delicious cheese. A little too much sauce for me (but tastes great) but next time I'll ask for them to go a little lighter. Their Garlic Knots are the best I've had, very soft and warm and lots of garlic. The girl with the dark hair in a ponytail is very sweet and nice, always smiles warmly and says Thank you (big pet peeve of mine when someone doesn't). Good stuff!p.s. doesnt open until 4pm daily. If they were open for lunch I'd def. stop by but they must have their reasons. If they did a lunch buffet I'd bet they'd hit it big (so long as they worked at marketing it)."
"This is a perfect hometown BBQ spot with friendly service! As a bonus they even have a bakery that shares the space."
"I went to Goodwill to do some bargain book hunting. Love that! Some of the worst books I have ever read came from Goodwill, but so have some of the best, especially Witch Child and Sorceress (sequel to Witch Child). On this day, not only did I find good books (I think), but I got some excellent frozen custard across the street. I'm not sure if I had ever had frozen custard, but this was really good! Only one problem...I paid cash and received three coins as change: a quarter, a nickel, and a penny. No big deal except I was wearing my swoosh pants (for the gym) that have a hole in the interior lining in the right pocket. So, the coins jingled as I walked to my car. You can't remove coins from inside the interior lining unless you take your pants off. Solution: Eat the frozen custard, go to the gym, and take my pants off in the bathroom at the gym. No sweat! (No pun intended) When I arrived at the gym (still jingling), I exited my car, locked the door, and put my keys in my pocket. Yeah ... that pocket. Now I couldn't get into the gym or my car. I only had one option....I went to the few trees between the gym and the office building and took care of it there, but it's kind of strange to sit in the middle of a small batch of trees midday pantless while hunting for coins and keys inside the interior lining of those pants. Nobody saw me, which made it a little less awkward. However, I would recommended using caution when visiting Goodwill to hunt for books while wearing swoosh pants. You never know where it might lead. As far as the frozen custard goes, definitely recommend."
"Wonderful spot! The people working there seem like very generous spirits, the latte I had was great, and they bake all their own stuff in house!I'll have to update after I try this cinnamon roll tomorrow morning, but it looks great..."
"Had breakfast here today and was delighted with my food. I ordered a baloney, egg and cheese biscuit. The egg was fluffy and the thick slice of baloney was twice the size of the biscuit. Everything was perfectly cooked. The staff were not particularly friendly and the place is not fancy at all. Rolls of paper towels placed on each table serve as napkins - my kind of place! The iced tea didn't have enough ice in it to properly cool the contents but the flavor was very good."
"I went for the first time as a Yelp elite event and couldn't wait to go back!I did a sauna at Beem and then decided to get another because it's so good. This time I went with a cookie and cream one and had it dipped in dark chocolate and then topped with Oreo. Can't wait for the weather to warm up a bit and enjoy these more often."
"In the area and wanted dessert so we gave Handel's a try! You have to order outside and they will call your order. They were very fast and efficient. There was a variety of flavors to choose from, as well as waffle cones and bowls. I got a small brown dough scoop in a cup. The employee at the window informed me that the small was about 2 and a half scoops, which was about 5 ounces and that was perfect for me."
"Part of the string of places owned by the Moyer Family and all are unique and excellent.Original Two Scoops was on Central Ave in Charlotte and then the opened in Mooresville on Williamson Rd. In the meantime, the same group had open spot in Langtree up here at Lake Norman. After about six month or so, they closed the location on Williamson Rd and consolidated it into the Langtree Location. You walk in and Moyer's is to your right and Two Scoops to the left. Some separation but not muchBoth are excellent and I've gone to Moyer's several times during Covid.Have not hit the Ice Cream part that often but in the cases that I did, itw was excellent./Strongly recomment"
"My favorite is the mushroom Swiss burger. Then a blueberry heath toffee small concrete mixer.Would I come back? Several times.Recommend to family and friends? Definitely"
"This place has been on the same corner for many years. During the summer there always seems to be a line of waiting patrons. People keep coming back so they must be doing something right. They sell soft serve ice cream, hand-dipped ice cream, snow cones, sundaes, banana splits, milk shakes, and all of the normal array of ice cream creations. Today I got a scoop of honey roasted peanut butter ice cream. It was as amazing as it sound. The prices are very reasonable. They even have picnic tables for you to enjoy your refreshments right there!"
