"I Love coming here on the weekends. My daughter and I always get a few hotdogs and salted pretzels. The pretzels are nice and soft and I feel like I can eat a ton of them. I like how you can see them twisting the pretzel dough up before cooking them up. The hotdogs and banging too. I like to go crazy on the toppings. It never takes long for the food to be ready and we usually dine inside. I'll def keep coming back."
"got an extra day off work because sometimes it happens that way and went looking for a bit of race fun. turns out the car track wasn't open but the snack shack down the way was so there I was looking for something to go with coffee :-)found a spot at the counter and sat down to the sad reality that breakfast wasn't a thing here but lunch looked promising. the menu was showing a variety of sandwich options but the hot dogs caught my eye... dog and fries... and a combo means I'm drinking for free!!wasn't too long before food showed up: two real beef dogs on toasted top split buns adorned with mustard, onions, and pickle (passed on ketchup, slaw, mayo and some others) and a fair pile o' long skinny fries. not sure where the meat sticks come from but they rate with late century Best's Kosher; just a little funny business in the spice pack don't you know...I'm not from around here so I have to ding y'all for no relish and I can't get a coke-float... but if them burgers live up to the hype and I can manage some chili cheese tots we can probably fix that ;-)"
"I have tried to get by this food truck now quite some time.A friend of mine has talked about their food for a while.Well this time they were there.Weather plays a big role in them being open. While waiting in line Boone Doggies offers several combos or just get you dogs.Choices of spicy mustard,Kraut, pickled jalapeños,plus the norm must, chilie, slaw,or ketchup. You can get hand cut fries or chips.I chose the hand cut fries. My wait was not long as these guy's were busy.I chose a combo of two dogs must,Chile, slaw and onions, with the hand cut fries and a drink.$8.00.I wanted to try a Sausage dog with spicy mustard and kraut. But their supplier was out.Oh well will make another Trip. The buns where toasted on the grill with a hint of butter I do believe.Boone Doggies chili is very good which is a must for a good dog.Nice white slaw and a gracious amount of onions topped it off.A generous amount of hand cut fries seasoned just right topped off my order. You get your can drink out of a cooler sitting at the window as you get your order. As I set in my truck eating my food thinking man oh man this as good food as my friend had said it was. Can't wait to go back and try Boone Doggies again Soon.Take Cash.On the corner of Stratford and Clemmonsville Rd."
"Dairi-O is a local favorite!Food is always fresh and hot and I have yet to find something I don't like on the menu. Their burgers and hotdogs are amazing and they have several topping options to choose from. Chili is great quality as well.I often time get the chicken strips-they're white breast chicken and not full of fillers like what you'd imagine at a fast food restaurant. The homemade ranch is also a showstopper.Definitely stop by, you won't be disappointed. This location is consistently great and is conveniently located."
"I've gotten take out twice here since we moved to Denver back in July but what do you expect during a Covid Pandemic. Had a lot of take out since last March. It's pretty much like the other Cook Out restaurants in the chain. Did not have to wait long to place my order but then again, this is one of the least busy stores in the Chain.Order was correct and I ate it when I got home about 5 minutes later.I like Cook Out because it reminds me of the burgers my Father used to cook on an old Char Coal grill back when I was a teenage.Fries need some work because they are overly soggy and greasy. Needs a bit more salt as well. All in all, as far as other drive throughs in Denver, this is one of the best. Other fast food restaurants in the area are exceptionally slow. This one at least moves."
"Perhaps a more appropriate name for this place would be Oscar's Fine Folks, Good Food, and Rummage Sale.I say this because the people who work here are genuinely nice and honest. I know they are honest because I was accidentally overcharged for my meal and the order taker brought the overage to me while I was eating. Wow. Sadly, that kind of honesty is rare these days.As for the food, it is just good.:Cheeseburger: somewhat bland and just nothing to get excited about. Hot dog: also averaged out to be good with an average tasting wiener, very good slaw, chili that was fairly bland and very dry, and a bun that was nicely toasted outside but a little soggy inside. French fries: excellent.Sweet tea: pretty average; it needs to be strongerAs for the rummage sale, the fine folks at Oscar's also have for sale a handful of a hodgepodge of items from used clothing to antiques. Very odd.Oscar's is located in a part of High Point that is overall pretty industrial and run down but has a smattering of new/renovated buildings. It becomes pretty busy with local traffic, mainly people who work nearby, during the lunch hour.I am totally with Erik S on this one. I was really excited to try it, and the people and atmosphere are neat. But when you get down to what it is really all about, the food, Oscar's falls a little short."
"Aaaahhhmazing EVERY TIME! We always stop when we're in from Florida.. the service is always fantastic/friendly service. Wish you could still eat inside.. But, I would eat it anywhere"
"The food hear is very tasty and the prices are incredible. They have been here at this location for eternity and are the nicest people with great service."
"This is the place for dogs! They also have fantastic hamburgers & many side options as well as milkshakes.Today I had the double cheeseburger which was just out of this world good! It was served hot & had very fresh & flavorful ingredients. It was cooked perfectly & was more than a meal.I also added two Relish Dogs, relish & mustard only. They were good but were not hot. They have signed a lease on a location near downtown Fort Mill in the space that was formerly the Subway. It will have a drive-thru window and projected open in mid to late August."
"Great food! Good service and nice staff. Good value for our meals. Easy parking Clean area. Good for family."
"Walked in for the first time and immediately felt like family. The staff was amazing. Super friendly and extremely helpful. Food came out really quickly and hot. I ordered the slaw dog and the Mac and cheese dog and both were simply amazing. I also had an ode of baked fries that went well with the bbq sauce I splattered all over them. I didn't get any beer, but they have a beer wall... let that sink in! The also have an area where you can toss an axe. The gentleman showed my and my fiancé how to throw the axe and we had a ball. They also have multiple tv's with all kinds of sports being shown. This is a great spot to come and just hang out for a few hours. I will definitely be back!!!"
"This historic luncheonette has been serving delicious food for over 50 years, and the staff feels like family. I loved the all-the-way hot dog with onions, mustard, and chili, along with their bologna cheese sandwich and cheeseburger--everything was fantastic! The place is really nice and cozy."

This was the first time eating here. Been to the shopping center many times but never tried eating here. Got the single burger. It was really good with the homemade chips. Great service and well. The restaurant was way bigger than I expected. Very clean bathroom as well. I'll definitely eat here again. I recommend you give it a try.

Incredible! Best food truck in Winston Salem. Someone kept telling me these were some of the best hotdogs ever, and needless to say, the food went beyond the hype. Even just a basic dog with mustard and onions will be delicious. Their chili dog is excellent too. The prices are very fair. Two dogs for $5 or two dogs, fries, and a drink for $7? Most food trucks would be $10-12 for that food. The fries are thinly cut, salted, and great. There are several options available and while I didn't try it, an off-menu item is the jalapeño hot dog, which is supposedly quite good. Service is great. Incredibly friendly. Check their social media for locations, but they're usually on Stratford by Exxon.

All for giving fast food 5 stars if the food is delicious, restaurant is clean and service is excellent and this is what this Dairo consistently provides!Visited today and had a delicious, filling meal with the family after a visit to Tanglewood Park. The cashier, Gail, was very kind and made us feel welcome. Our order was accurate and hot! The restaurant was clean and love the music choice of Christian music as well.My husband and I got double cheeseburgers with seasoned fries and they were delicious as always as we expect from Dairo. My one daughter got a junior hotdog meal and my other got a junior hamburger meal. They definitely could have shared as the portions are very large! To finish it off, you can't go to Dario without ice cream, I got a soft served dipped cone, my one daughter got a milkshake and the other got swirl soft serve. The ice cream is creamy and just perfect in my opinion. The portions are also huge for ice cream too!

Cook Out hit the spot tonight!! We loved the grilled chicken and barbecue sandwich trays. While there were ample Cajun fries on one tray, I was only served a handful of onion rings. The shakes were both awesome- the banana pudding is a must try! Reese's cup was almost as good. We left with very full bellies!

Excellent food despite looking like a run-down building and pot hole filled parking lot. Great service and worth the visit

This place has been around since 1957 and is a small restaurant on the Court House Square in Downtown Lincolnton. It's a favorite of the locals and the lunch menu runs heavy on Dogs and Burgers. It's a local favorite with a good lunchtime crowd and it appears to be a favorite with the Firefighters.I went a long time ago when I was active in politics because we had some functions at the Court House and it was just a short walk over but that was something like 40 years ago.A review by a fellow Yelper, Sam J. reminded me of this place so I decided to give them a try. Their hours are limited from 5am till 2 pm and not open on the weekend. With this in mind, tried on two occasions to hit this window only to find them closed both times. The first was a Monday and there was a big funeral in town with a massive Funeral Courtage with most of the Fire Department Equipment in the Courtage. Someone suggested they were closed for this. The following was the next week on a Friday and closed again. Did find that evening that they had a Facebook page and they had posted that they were going to be closed that day. I never refer to Facebook when I am looking for Restaurant Hours or Menu.Bottom line is consider calling first like I did on Wednesday.Walked in and got in line to order at the counter. Took a few minutes but I ordered the #2 Combo with is two dogs all the way (minus Coleslaw - in NC, coleslaw goes on everything) a bag of Chips and choice of drinks which in my case was a 7-UP.Gave me a cup of ice, my 7-Up and bag of chips plus a numbered tent for my table. Found a table and sat down and waited.Took a while but eventually my number was called, and I went back to the Counter to pick up my lunch which was in a Brown Bag. Went to back to my table and proceeded to lunch. The two dogs were excellent with generous amounts of delicious Chile but a bit on the dry side. Copious amounts on Onions as well. The Dogs themselves were some of the best I have had. Nice and plump with great snap and flavor. In other words, the Dogs were great and at $3.25 for the Combo, price cannot be beat.Service is good but since everything is made to order, not instantious so you have to be patient. It is worth the wait however.Ambience is casual and it's more of a hole in the wall but often those are the hidden gems with great food and prices. That's the reason they have been here since 1957.

"Some friends recommended that I try the Burger Barn so I stopped by here on my own for a late lunch. It's a small place in the parking lot of a gas station and there's only one table for outdoor seating. It seems like this is really intended for takeout although since I was the only person around I went ahead and ate at the table. The food was very good. I stuck with a very basic lunch: A cheeseburger basket with french fries and an Arnold Palmer. The burger was good. Not the biggest burger but it was clearly cooked while I was waiting and it was very fresh with a nice flavor to it. The toppings were all fresh, too, and complemented the burger nicely. I had chili on it and enjoyed it. The chili is kind of sweet but had a lot of flavorful and really added a lot to the burger. The fries were the best part. They're larger fries (though not wedges/ steakhouse fries) and they're cut into long rectangles. They looked really nicely cut and had an excellent flavor. Not terribly crispy but good; clearly homemade like fair fries. They has a few different options (hotdogs, cheese steaks, and wings. The price seemed a dollar or two higher than what I'd expect but the food was hot and cooked fresh so that seems reasonable."
"Found this spot a little while back and it is incredible spot with great food and is also a mart. I got there right before they stopped serving the chicken sandwich, which is now only served at the food truck at slow play. The chicken sandwich is the main hit here. So tender, flavorful and juicy. Mac n cheese is a huge hit, super creamy and seasoned. Came back and had the wings with loaded tater tots and both are good hits as well. These guys just know flavor and seasoning. Food is very on point and people that work there are very pleasant and nice. They also have rap snacks and 99c Arizona tea! Must try!"
"Excellent food and service! Good old fashioned burger joint!Favorite lunch is grilled cheese, fries, and cole slaw. With a milkshake if I'm feeling expansive LoL!"
"I love little divey, hole in the wall type places like this except for this one. I am giving them three stars because they have really good homemade cheese straws and cinnamon rolls. As for their hotdogs, which by the way are my favorite food, I do not care for theirs.Their homemade chili is sweet. Sweet chili isnt for hotdogs or it isnt for me, one or the other. Their all the way is mustard, onions, chili, they dont do slaw. If they did I would forgo the chili and go with slaw but they dont so I quit going. I tried multiple times to like the hotdogs, I just cant. Their chili comes in mild and spicy. They have a 5.00 special that is 2 hotdogs, drink and bag of chips. Use to get 2 bags of chips but they cut it back to one. Not sure why though probably money. If you eat in there you can refill your water or tea cup multiple times otherwise you get a canned drink to go.They have short hours every day they are open to begin with and I wont even post them because I can go by on a day they should be open and they arent so good luck. If you love good cheese straws and xinnamom rolls, this is your place. If you are like me and lo e a great hotdog, we have better places around the area."
"Still love this place. The best classic Carolina burger ever. Their chili truly makes it. They also have good breakfast sandwiches as well. Make sure you bring cash because it is cash-only. They have an ATM but you'll be charged a processing fee. Definitely one of the last Charlotte classics in town and I will be devastated when they leave us."
"When my Mother was alive and was a resident at an Assisted Living Center in Lincolnton, my Sister Martha would take her out for Lunch several times a month.BBQ King was one of her favorites. Her favorite menu item was Sliced BBQ with a Lexington Style Sauce. Personally I prefer Chopped BBQ with the Eastern NC Pepper Vinegar Style myself.Several of my friends love BBQ King as well and I think I went one time maybe 40 years ago. The have been around since 1971.All of the meat is smoked on site starting in the very early morning and everything is prepared on site. A couple of weeks ago, my wife and I drove over for Saturday Lunch. It's a through back to an earlier time for BBQ Houses but it's a nice touch. In honor of my Mother, I ordered the Sliced BBQ Plate with the Lexington Sauce and a side of Red Slaw and Onion Rings. My wife ordered the Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwich with a side of French Fries. The BBQ was good but in the end, next time I'm going back to my Chopped BBQ with Pepper Vinegar Sauce. This is a taste I acquired when I was in College back in 1960's in Eastern NC.My wife loved her Hot Ham and Cheese Sandwich and the Fries were good as well.Note that this is one of the places that does not accept plastic. Cash Only but they do have an ATM on premise. Fortunately I had cash on me where I did not have to bother with the ATM but just so you know, Cash only but they do take checks. Only other place I know that operates with this business model is Randy's BBQ in Troutman and Statesville. Will be back and give it another try later this year when it warms up and then I can sample the Chopped BBQ"
"Customer service okFood okLocation okNo complaintsAmbiance was ok If you are in the area definitely check it out"
"If you are l near Spencer, perhaps to visit the NC Transportation Museum, then a nice place to stop for lunch is Roger Dogs. Cute inside, it is staffed by the owners, who are altogether kind and exceptionally helpful. I ordered a regular dog all the way and the quarter pound all beef "Pam Dog". Sporting a masterfully toasted bun that matches up to PB's, the regular dog toppings were generous but not messy. Chili, onion, slaw--all were beautifully assembled and tasted very good. The Pam dog was a standout. COVERED in homemade pimento cheese and lined with jalapeños, it was delicious. The pimento cheese leaned a little sweet but was very good nonetheless. The dog itself had a great, smoky, classic taste. They have Cheerwine from the fountain or in a bottle. The only thing that bummed me out was that they don't have fries. The price was very reasonable. Roger Dogs is located within walking distance of the NC transportation Museum. Unfortunately, Roger Dogs is also located across the street from the most abandoned, desolate strip mall I have ever seen. However, it is my understanding from the locals that the mall is run by a landlord who did no property upkeep but continued raising the rent. So businesses left. But the city is supposedly purchasing it and is planning to revitalize it, including building a beautiful park similar to one there in yesteryear. I hope it turns out to be as enchanting as I envision it..the bustling museum, the innocent shouts of children playing, the doleful sound of a distant train, the redolence of a crisp autumn day...It sounds so idyllic. ...and if you find yourself there, I know where you can get a really tasty hotdog."
"I went to Goodwill to do some bargain book hunting. Love that! Some of the worst books I have ever read came from Goodwill, but so have some of the best, especially Witch Child and Sorceress (sequel to Witch Child). On this day, not only did I find good books (I think), but I got some excellent frozen custard across the street. I'm not sure if I had ever had frozen custard, but this was really good! Only one problem...I paid cash and received three coins as change: a quarter, a nickel, and a penny. No big deal except I was wearing my swoosh pants (for the gym) that have a hole in the interior lining in the right pocket. So, the coins jingled as I walked to my car. You can't remove coins from inside the interior lining unless you take your pants off. Solution: Eat the frozen custard, go to the gym, and take my pants off in the bathroom at the gym. No sweat! (No pun intended) When I arrived at the gym (still jingling), I exited my car, locked the door, and put my keys in my pocket. Yeah ... that pocket. Now I couldn't get into the gym or my car. I only had one option....I went to the few trees between the gym and the office building and took care of it there, but it's kind of strange to sit in the middle of a small batch of trees midday pantless while hunting for coins and keys inside the interior lining of those pants. Nobody saw me, which made it a little less awkward. However, I would recommended using caution when visiting Goodwill to hunt for books while wearing swoosh pants. You never know where it might lead. As far as the frozen custard goes, definitely recommend."
"The lotta burger is out of this world. There is a reason this place is ALWAYS PACKED!! Try it !"
"Second time in NC and discovered a hidden gem. 10/10 food truck! Food, service and vibes were amazing. The home of the PURPLE hot dog!! Never heard of such a thing and it was amazing! It's basically a cole slaw the owner puts on the hot dogs and fish. Such amazing taste and it works so well on hotdogs and fish. Discovered the truck after a night out at Moon Shiner-z in Burlington. So he's definitely in that parking lot on the weekends sometimes. I don't know if that's the only place he's stationed, but upon doing some research he does events! I posted those pictures as well to help. 100% recommend this food truck!"
"First time going to this location of Cook Out, and I would rate it one of the better ones. I used to frequent Cook Out for late night snacks or a shake during college. Now, I go for a good fast food burger where I can get some crazy awesome things as my sides. I mean who can go somewhere and get a corndog or quesadilla as your side? My favorite sides though are the seasoned fries, onion rings, hushpuppies, and quesadilla. I will say I am not a huge fan of the grilled chicken sandwiches. I like the shakes, but you have to know ahead of time they are more like a Wendy's frosty in that they are thicker and pretty challenging to drink from a straw. They are still really really good though. I like the M&M one and sometimes get the peach one, too. The one thing that can be good or bad is this location serves their trays in paperboard boxes rather than the classic styrofoam boxes. I love they are helping the environment but do miss the nostalgia of the old boxes. Overall, this location is clean and quite busy which is always good to see."
"Torn between 3 stars and 4 stars overall. Food = 3Atmosphere = 5Burger was good. Fries were ok. Onion rings had a nice flavor but were too greasy. Love that they have fountain Sun Drop. Staff was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was perfect: located in a quaint town with a classic diner/soda fountain feel with excellent memorabilia. Definitely worth stopping in if you are in the area."
"Try the sausage dog all the way and bacon cheddar fries was delicious. I'm definitely going to order again."
"It has been months since updating. The rating stays the sameFood is always the same, especially the amazing jalamango wings! The sauce is bar none. I have tried other places who claim the same name, there is no comparison!!Since the beginning have discovered the queso white cheese sauce on top of the fries. What a amazing combination! If you are in the mood for some comfort foods this is the locals place to go! (Of course if you are not from here make sure to stop in!)"
"Best hot dogs in town. Super clean food truck and good prices. He's at the corner of S. Elm St and Bragg St. most days. I'm becoming a regular customer."
"As someone who travels to Chicago often I had to try this Italian beef in my hometown. This sandwich was AMAZING!!!! Already planning my next order next week lol. Thank you for being the only legit Italian Beer in town."
"Have only ever tried the dogs at Crave but based on those alone, combined with friendly service and the fact they come out quick, Crave gets 5 stars. The hot dogs are good quality and good size and my go to is one with mustard, chili and slaw though I have tried a couple of their specialty dogs and have found them to be good as well.If you're in the area and looking for a good hot dog. Crave has you covered."
"Okay hear me out, this is the place to go when you are craving the oooh so good bad food we all crave once in a while or if you me often!! Chili is good. No beans! Everything was fresh made to order. Burger was good but the hot dog was very good. The girl at the counter answered all my questions kindly. It was the perfect date nite dinner we at in our truck. Was take out only. Just hit the spot! And very budget friendly!!"
"Best Philly Cheesesteak I've ever eaten! The flavor was incredible. I didn't even make it out of the parking lot with out taking numerous bites, my copilot held it for me as I drove because it was just so good. Soft and tender meat with flavorful spices all made to order by the very nice owner of Wagner's steak. It is worth the drive most definitely and we will be back to try the smash burger! So yummy!!! Be sure to get a tea to drink with your food."
"Surprised the hell outta me. I don't do food from gas stations...periodt!!...but this gas station has got some delicious food. From the breakfast to the lunch. A real grill with someone cooking. I recommend everything on the menu!I've had the cheese grits, big boy breakfast or whatever it is called its good, the BLT, the double and regular cheeseburgers, their fries are very tasty and onion rings. I think I hit them up at least once a week. I'm gonna get fat with them being so close!"
"I don't eat red meat but will make an exception for this places burger- hand formed, lean and delicious. Best French fries too- crispy and not oily ( they change oil often). Don't skip over this spot because it's a gem in Claremont."
"Queen City Wings is by no means a fancy place. They have wings (and fries) and they have a couple of tables. That's it. What more do you need?My daughter wanted wings and so we headed here. It's a simple storefront. The gent behind the counter took our order and we paid (Square) then took a seat. Our wings were cooked right then and there, sauced as requested and handed over. It didn't take but five minutes. One dozen buffalo and one dozen lemon pepper. Meaty, hot, the buffalo was hot and the lemon pepper was both lemony and peppery. We still had a few left over and the gent was happy to hand over a small box and another sauce for us to take to go.The sauces are packets - Ken's Blue Cheese Dressing and the like - but at least then you know what you're getting. As opposed to a what pours out of a giant jar at other wing places.Bathroom was bathroom. I just needed to wash my hands and not smear buffalo sauce on the steering wheel.[Review 10231 overall, 1819 of 2018.]"
