"This spa is my favorite place. The staff is always so welcoming and kind. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. The food is blah but the drinks and appetizers make up for their lack of good food. This spa is perfect for a solo trip, girls day, or with your loved one. You will not be disappointed."
"Came here on a Friday around 3:30pm for a late lunch. There was no one else dining it at this time but we chose to sit outside. Service was good. The staff wore masks, hand sanitizer was available and I saw table cleaning/disinfecting happening. Food was good and the Groupon I had covered our nachos, calamari and steak bites (not pictured) leaving only a couple dollars left + tip. We ordered solely off the appetizer menu but portions were shareable. I can't say much about the place outside of that the food was good because again we were the only people there to dine and it was mid day. Overall nice lunch experience though."
"Five star course at a three star price. I absolutely love Rocky River golf club. The greens are always in immaculate condition even in the winter. One of the best and such an important feature that is not available at a lot of other golf courses is that they have navigation on the cart, and it doesn't just give you the yardage to the center of the green, it gives you exact yardage to the pin, the front and the back of the green. The course is challenging but definitely gives you an opportunity to score as well. If I have to nitpick, I will say that after a few days of rain the course can be very wet. I have noticed that is the case with a lot of other courses in the area as well but I do think the rain may hurt this course a little bit more. The facilities are great as well with a nice driving range and a great practice green. Since I have moved to Charlotte I have probably played approximately 35 rounds of golf, and about 25 of them have been at Rocky River. I kept coming back because of the value and how great the course is, but I definitely have to say I was always made to feel special when I would show up here. After my second time I would be welcomed with hello Sami how are you today? I definitely have to give credit to Joey and Christian, as those two gentlemen have been great to me since day one. If you have never played here I recommend you making it the next course you play."
"I would give 5 Stars, but it's a bit pricey on the weekend $75. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. Kate, Alex and another young man who work the desk at check-in are super nice! The rangers keep play moving expect 4:15 round even on the weekend. The only two knocks on course is golfers do not repair ball marks on the green either they ignorant and just plain lazy. Either way I wish somehow they would learn some manners and golf etiquette. Theother is poor drainage. On plus side the course offers allot of risk reward. Great variety of short and long. Par 3's are fair if play from the right tees. Big difference from Blues tees and black (which are white tees on most courses). Course plays much longer than scorecard due to many elevated greens. Condition wise the fairways and greens are great, tee boxes could use some more grass..Overall great golf course. Reachable par 5's and many good birdie opportunities. Greens are mainly flat however if pins are close to edge be weary of slight breaks and big lip or collar."
"I'm a huge fan of Eagle Chase!I've played here 4 times over the past couple years and will continue to come back. The course and greens are always in great shape and I feel like I've never really had a bad lie when playing here. One thing I will say is that their cart paths need a lottttt of work. But as long as you are okay with driving just inside the path in the rough you'll have a smooth enough ride. The course is pretty decent length and there's a large variety of holes with doglegs both directions and a ton of elevation changes. All in all, a challenging course and a fun test!"
"Nice to have a golf place near the office so you can hit the range now and then during lunch. Not a "huge" golf club, but big enough and gets the job done. The staff is pretty friendly... though I haven't played the course, I have frequented the range and the putting green a lot. Most of the time, when I play golf I am usually in the woods so I just keep practicing for the time being.I have not seen a chipping green yet, but I haven't looked very hard for one. By the time I get my clubs, drive up to the parking lot, and get the balls ready - I've got limited time to waste.Careful turning left out of the parking lot since Mallard Creek Church Rd/Prosperity Church Rd gets busy at times. Not to say you can't hang out at the median, but the way people drive around there is with a purpose and not to accommodate a nice little range session at lunch. There are a good amount of canadian geese that hang around here, but they maintain the walkways and stuff pretty good so you don't step on any land minds."
"If I am not mistaken, this is an Arnold Palmer design. And if you remember Arnold Palmer's game, it wasn't exactly based on precision off the tee but he could make make some birdies and eagles along the way with enough space. Oak Valley is like that. I hadn't played golf in almost a year and I made 2 birdies on the front 9 playing from the white tees. If you want more of a challenge you can head back to the blues or blacks.Course is interesting and fun, and is in good condition. It meanders through a housing development, so you're not exactly out in nature, but it is pleasant enough.Best of all, watch for "hot deals" on Golf Now. We got our 18 holes with cart basically for the price of a cart. Would go back any time."
"Caddyshack.........period. I've been here a few times for a beer. At least 2 bartenders that each time.Beer is priced OK, food is the same. What I find interesting about this place is that you can play 18 holes and get stoned to the be-jesus in the bar afterward.........which I've seen on each occasion. Folks so drunk they could barely stand.Families....guys staying away from the wife at home (for like the last 10 years)...older guys that have just enough liquid courage to chat up my GF while I'm right beside her.Add in decor from the VERY early 80s/Late 70s and you have a place with a lot of character.....................and pretty much not much more."

What a beautiful experience! I was gifted a spa day for my birthday and Rock Barn did not disappoint. My Mom, daughter and I spent an entire day getting pampered. The service was amazing, the food was tasty, the pools were enjoyable. It was a great time. I had the Queen for a Day package which included a massage. The massage was not the best to me but everyone else enjoyed theirs. I will definitely return!

Stopped by on a Wednesday night for their live music session. I was surprised that this place open to public. I have it bookmarked for the longest time.. You can easily reserve a spot in the music area so you can get better access to the music playing. As we step in, I was greeted the owner John, he helped greeted people and seated them if necessary. We opted to sit outside under the covered patio. Which was a nice night for it., We order quite a few apps. Onions, edamame, dips, mozzarella sticks. And a round of drinks. I really didn't like my French 75. It didn't serve with gin like I thought. So I didn't order it again. For my main course. I order fish stuffed with crabs. It was very bland. So I didn't finish it: I like how laid back the place was. A lot of the drinks were nicely priced. And plenty of options on the menu.. I would like this to be the place I go to either eat after a round of golf or relax while listening to music.

Challenging layout with excellent greens for putting. Well appointed pro shop, nicely merchandised with competitive prices.. Electric carts with built in GPS are a big plus - you can even listen to hip-hop, Mozart, or cool jazz using the Bluetooth option (Wha?!). Large rocks come into play on several holes, particularly #3.On the downside, this course is carved out of lowland woods so your ball is easily lost just a few few feet off the fairway (but you can usually find someone else's ball!). Some holes are cart path only due to soft fairways, negating the cool GPS carts. Grill room is okay, although during slow season the menu is very limited. Probably would be better if more golfers (and non-golfers) stayed for sandwiches.All-in-all, a very good golf experience - one of my favorites in the Charlotte area. I highly recommend this course and please stay for lunch and a draft beer.

Hidden gem outside of Mineral Springs. Beautifully manicured, the grounds crew are obvious pros. Great value, very nice staff and friendly marshals. Pace of play is amazing, finished in under three hours!

From Arizona - I've golf many courses and this course is AWESOME! It's a trek or shall I say pilgrimage every golfer should take to THIS course! LOVE the elevated tees, challenging bunkers and water hazards! The Greens are wonderful so are the fairways! When I come back, I'm playing here! And bringing my Golfer husband

Love playing Tradition, especially on slow midweek days. It's pretty much a private round and very peaceful. Maybe a form of practicing mindfulness via golf. Never played a round here where it was slammed, but I do avoid weekends and holidays. Really love the lady's energy in the pro shop every time I visit, big shout-out to her. Fairways and greens (slow) are in good condition. Affordable, fun golf course.

I had my first official golfing experience at Oak Valley and it was amazing. I've been on many golf courses - as a volunteer, working for a sponsor, networking and conferences, and as a spectator, but I've never actually golfed. This course was beautiful and play was very reasonable priced given the quality of the course. The carts were quiet and comfortable. The holes were well-labeled and the course was easy to follow. The staff was welcoming and kindly directed us to our first hole and cart. I really enjoyed this experience and appreciate Oak Valley for making my first golfing experience really great!

I have not played 18 yet, but this review if for their driving range.Pros- Grass TeesOpen till 7pmCons-Really old and horrible range balls. $14 for a large bucket, about 120balls.The folks at the clubhouse was nice enough. There is a chipping green andn putting green. All that is great. Except for the condition of the range balls. I got frustrated at hitting them becuase they felt like wet mud. So much that I dropped a few of my own titleist at the end of practice , hit them to get some sanity back...Otherwise, good place, price is decent. But pleease... get some new range balls...

"I always enjoy a round at Emerald Lake, they make it real easy to book a tee time and the course is always in great shape. Medium challenging course, and greens are always in great shape."
"Great rennovationThe Mooresville Golf Club was closed for a period of time as it was undergoing a major renovation. My wife and I had a brunch there last Sunday and got a chance to see the results. I played this course a number of times over the years but have not played here in probably 8 or 9 years. They had one hole where the fairway parallel Wilson Road and it there is a hazard, my ball would head that way. Never hit an oncoming car but bounced a couple off the pavement and came close to hitting a car one time. That said, we did not play this course at this time and it's going to be awhile before I can because of upcoming hip replacement surgery. They did a great job on the course and I will definitely try it out when I am able.Pro Shop which is next to the restaurant looked well stocked and may try that out as well when I can."
"Great golf course, great staff. You will enjoy your visit here and can practice anytime on the driving range!"
"I really enjoyed Fort Mill golf club when I played there this past Sunday! The course is extremely walkable and is a really fun layout and challenge. The front 9 is a little more open and gives you some leeway with your teeshots but the back is much tighter and will punish you for not being accurate off the tee. It's $75 riding 18 and $45 walking 18 so a really good deal if you are able to walk. Mid-April '22 the greens were really firm and the fairways could use some work but I think they just needed some rain for the course and it'll be in great shape. Will be back!"
"Purely from a person that doesn't play golf regularly, I'm a fan of this golf course. It's been around for a while and probably has changed management hands over the years, but it seems like a really decent place to play - Some people say the course is pretty challenging with all the par 5 holes here, but its not an open lynx course where my ball usually ends up on another hole and other golfers are in danger of being hit by me.I'm also familiar with the course since my family holds an annual golf tournament here in remembrance of my late father (who was an avid golfer). Most of his friends and friend of friends come and play... have a good day.. and also raise money for my dad's high school back in the Philippines. The funds create a scholarship for those kids that were not able to finish high school due to their family situation (they have to work...) so the moneys raised by the tournament allows them to go to school in the evenings and complete their educations. The staff here is super friendly and nice - even more so due to this crazy even we hold here and they definitely are very accommodating in making the golf tournament happen. The clubhouse is pretty standard... small golf shop in the front... and a bar/dining area in the back. Driving range, putting green, and chipping area are all near the clubhouse and the cart is included in your golf outing and green fees."
"Wonderful golf course in the Western part of the Piedmont where there is rolling countryside and the peaceful quietness of nature! What was once an old dairy farm, now it's a beautiful open concept golf course! With an old silo or two that's in the middle of the fairways, the charm of this course is unmistakable!Over the years of playing this course I can say, if it's been raining for a couple of days, this course can be quite mushy!"
"This beautiful course is built around Lake Wright. The area exudes natural beauty. My only tiny complaint is that some of the holes are spaced very far apart but if you are using a cart it doesn't really matter. The carts are equipped with a GPS mapping screen that relays an amazing amount of information to the golfer. It also has a screen where you can order food and beverages from the Champion Grill. The food from the grill is great. I suggest the Angus cheeseburger. Holes # 7 and 8 creatively bring water hazards into play.Several holes situated to insure that water comes into play. Bring a few extra balls- you may lose them in the water."
"We just played Westport yesterday for Fathers Day. For times such as this when courses are flooded with golfers, this is a great place to play. You don't back up much and aren't on top of other golfers. Staff : 5 Stars : Very friendly! Food Options : 1 Star : Ham or Turkey Sandwichs or extremely basic hotdogFairways/Tees : 3 Stars : Overall good shape and well kept.Greens : 1 Star : Covered in sand. Incredibly slow due to sand and pitsOverall : 3 Stars : We had a great timeValue : 4 Stars : $35 for us and $29 for senior. Thats a certain plus!"
"My group always has a great time at River Falls. The course is always top notch. Very challenging and fair. Greens are always well conditioned. Club house staff friendly and polite. Great selection of fashion too."
"This is a really nice, semi tight municipal golf course. Like most municipal golf courses, it plays slow. It was in nice shape and fun to play."
