"This is definitely something I can't get in Cary. One of my friends recommended it and it was relatively cheap and so good! I got the chicken rice platter. Whatever that white stuff is, it's delicious! The food came out steaming hot, too, so I ate it outside and it didn't cool off too much."
"This here is a review of the bakery itself, not the truck. Actually I'm not even sure if the truck is still a thing, but it would be cool to see it somewhere if so.Coming in is confusing at first. They're actually a part of the strip mall - at the very end. It's a cute set up. Very colorful and inviting. Parking is a pain. I recommend backing in. Inside they have a tall display case with about 8 different flavor concoctions. Seems like they change up most of these every day. They probably also have a daily limit where they shut down once sold out. They sell "day old" cupcakes on another shelf. I came in on Valentine's Day and they were going nonstop.I ordered a box of four which comes to $10. If the guy running the register didn't suggest it, I wouldn't have even known. (Even though there's a sign or it.) You can also buy just one for $3. So getting four is quite a deal. If I heard correctly, when you bring your box back in they'll give you a cupcake in exchange for it. I think that's awesome that they see the value in not wasting. Also, what a way to get people to come back in?I got a blueberry french toast cupcake with bacon on top. It was amazing. The bacon was just enough salt to pair up nicely with the sweet frosting. The filling of a sort of baked blueberry reduction was unexpected and scrumptious. I also got a banana pudding, red velvet and "death by chocolate" for my girlfriend. They were actually out of those but were making more in the back at that exact moment. They hooked me up. They put the cupcakes in plastic cups turned upside down. It's ingenious really. Clearly I'll be back!"

"The food here is fast and delicious. They have many choices of meats to choose from. The barbacoa was really good and had lots of flavor while the tripa was not seasoned much it was good. The salsas they have are spicy but delicious and the pepper is hot too beware. The burrito was really good with lots of fillings. Definitely a great place to get Mexican tortillas dishes from."
"This truck has a following and I now know why . It was Muy Bueno Mi Amigo !!! The parking lot carried the delicious aroma of the food they sell and my nose would not let me pass on this one ! The menu was simple and the prices were very reasonable ! Four tacos for $10.00. I chose the barbacoa with corn tortillas and the hubs had the chicken with corn tortillas, Warning the sauces will light you up ! Too strong for this palate but I am sure they're good if hot sauce is your thing. Delicious food served hot with all the right packaging! This will definitely be on my radar next time we're in the Huntersville hood ! Two thumbs way up !!!"
"I love everything about this coffee shop. It's a family owned and run business. Local artists work is displayed around the shop. When I was ordering I was handed a little yellow duck, that made my day. The coffee is amazing!"
"Birria tacos were pretty good. Their dipping sauce was not bad either. I was VERY stuffed after. Definitely worth a try."
"A group of us, were taking forever to decide what to eat, because we all wanted something different. Someone found this menu and then we all said yes and got the same Lobster Mac n Cheese, just different side items. Two of us ordered fried shrimp, someone got chicken. I also ordered a side of zucchini and squash. We ALL Loved the Mac n Cheese. Flavorful, not too cheap with lobster, and seasoned. Pretty much everyone was loving their plates. For those who wanted veggies, the zucchini and squash was even good. Only negative. I ordered and paid for a specialty drink and didn't get it. It's partially my fault, because I forgot to check. Support this business. It's not hard with their amazing food."
"Pizza and sandwiches are great! I love that the ingredients (even the chicken) are high quality and organic... you can really tell the difference. Also recommend getting a homemade chocolate chip cookie, if you're in the mood for something sweet! Added bonus- everyone that works here is super friendly, which is rare these days! Definitely check them out if you're in the area."
"Damn good and authentic version of a Philly cheesesteak. Got a beef version wit onions and Whiz. Staff was friendly and the food came out quickly.A few seats/tables if you want to eat it in house. Got mine to go and it was excellent."
"Definitely try the Cabeza, cachete and gorditas. Hands down the best tacos and Gordita in Charlotte, I'd advise to call in your orders ahead of time via Google"
"When I decide to take a long extended walk, I'll come here to finish the night off. No complaints, always good. I get the same order every time, it's made the same each time. This place is very consistent for me. Although I visit the one in Uptown more frequently but for some reason that location isn't on Yelp."
"I've ordered from here for lunch and dinner so many times. Weekends usually require about a 45 minute wait but lunch isn't bad. So they are my go to for: fish and also waffles. Consider it a fast food spot but they do have seating in the restaurant. I eat a lot of seafood so typical fast food spots for lunch don't work for me but the fish at Cuzzo's??? MAN! Sooooo good. My husband loves the bbq fish which I haven't had. But check this out. They have a peach waffle. Yep I said it. Peaches are cooked right into the waffle and drizzled with cream cheese frosting. So the fish and waffles don't come together but I often order them both just cause I love them and I do t eat chicken. Please oh please cuzzos consider making it a combo...Btw my family has ordered pretty much everything off of the menu. Yep. Delicious. Try the cauliflower mambo wings!"

The halal food truck craze has taken Uptown Charlotte by storm as there are multiple trucks on standby to provide lunch to busy office workers or a welcome drunk meal to late night parties. The most prominent of these is the Halal Food Cart which is usually posted up in the heart of Uptown on the intersection of Trade and Tryon. Unfortunately they are cash only which is puzzling because you are able to order from them on Door Dash so you would think they would have the ability to accept card payments. I've found that the quality varies from different visits, most recently I was a little let down. I ordered on Door Dash the lamb over rice, which usually is excellent. This time however I felt that it was simply over salted and lacked the flavor I had enjoyed previously. I suppose everyone has off nights. The lines you will often see forming outside the truck really speak for themselves, and I can tell you from experience that after a long night out, a lamb over rice can hit the spot like no other.

Great cupcake spot. This is a Hidden shop near Carolina Place mall. It's a pink shop in a shared shopping area with plenty of parking. They offer a variety of flavors in the cupcakes are very moist I quite enjoy the oatmeal cookie cream cupcake. Customer service was superb. I was informed about an incentive if I bring the box back I will get a fifth cupcake for free since I purchased four. Definitely recommend and will return! They asked that customers continue to wear a mask. What a smart idea when you're selling food in a smaller store. The cupcakes are put in a cup holder. Never seen this before it was very surprised smart idea. I hope you enjoy your tasty treats.

Great things come in smalls packages. This place does not disappoint. This Mexican food truck is nestled in the BP gas station. I was able to call in my order for a chicken burrito pick up. No wait no major line. It moves quickly and is very efficient. The burrito was $12 and it came with a green (mild) and red (hot) sauce and they will give you the kick you need. Tasty and they pack it with more than enough protein in my case chicken. I wish had wrapped it better so the food would stay in the burrito but the taste more than made up for it.

A+ Excellence services this morning as we approach the ordering window at Backyard Brew. We were greeted with an extra Saturday vibe morning to welcome us into Sunday. To keep the customer energy going into the day before workweek. Love it! We explained that this was our first time here and gave us a detailed rundown of the place. Then he placed two little ducks in front of us as we looked over the menu. Cool, right! We both ordered the Golden Latte one hot and one cold. It definitely had a great fresh coffee herbal blend taste. Now, them Jordanian Cakes were a light fluffy rose sweet taste with a hint of cardamom and flakes of pistachio. Which made each bite rewarding. There were plenty of alphabetical parking spaces in the back. They even have a place to take a cool selfie spot near the parking. Nice for any type of outing.

Okay, I'm a fan. First of all, give me a good food truck and I'm there, but it took me way too long to try this place but only because I'm not a huge fan of Hoppin'. I came for the Oxtail Birria and added the birria consommé, which is a must. I drank that stuff after I was finished dipping and pouring. It also has chickpeas in it so honestly could be eaten as a side bc it's pretty filling with amazing flavor. The oxtail serving was extremely generous and was served on a bed of yellow rice with two pressed cheese tacos with onion and cilantro. For a food truck, the presentation was great! Loved their little flag logo, it adds a nice touch. The kitchen was extremely accommodating because I didn't realize they had the oxtail and changed my order after the fact. I just paid the difference and there was no fuss! Plus I got it right before the sold out. WIN!My partner got a chorizo quesadilla and it was delicious. It was served with some lettuce and pico, and the flavor for immaculate. A little smaller than most quesadillas, so if you come hungry you will want to order additional sides or another dish. I definitely plan on coming back for the birria pizza and some wings. Someone was eating them beside us and they looked bomb. Food came out quick so overall a great experience!

Still one of my favorite food trucks in Charlotte. Great comfort food and customer service. In a previous review, I did have a bad experience. But hey, mistakes happen. The truck was near work again today and even though I packed my lunch, I thought some shrimp sounded good. I placed my order and was ready to pay. The young lady taking orders was then like we messed up your order last time and owe you some tenders. The fact they know their customers that well shows me great customer service. I was still in the mood for shrimp so they took care of my meal. I ordered the kids size shrimp and lobster Mac. This is a trick I learned. I never can finish a full size meal and feel stuffed if I do eat it all. They feed you well here. This meal is consistent. Still the best shrimp. Perfectly fried and seasoned served with a Cajun tarter sauce. And lobster Mac has chunks of lobster, creamy and tons of cheese. One day I will make it out to the restaurant. Until then, I hope to catch the truck around town.

This is the good stuff. I had their buffalo chicken pizza and it was a very tasty pie. Yeah, not keto compliant at all. But with the three beers I enjoyed over the course of two hours, I was already going to be out of ketosis so let's enjoy some pizza crust, hmmm?Just a bit of blackened on the edges to show that it's cooked properly, nicely topped with spicy chicken and served with a small pot of blue cheese dressing.Five stars. "I shop at this Walmart alot recently since I just moved to the area. I've seen this restaurant inside, but never stopped in. Today, I had some time and I'm glad I did. The Special today was the Seafood Pasta Salad. I was greeted with a sample the second I walked in. It was sooo good. So I decided to get that along with the fish, which was Swai. I'm big on customer service, so being greeted with a smile and a run down of the menu had me sold. The wait wasn't long, I had my food and was on my way. The seafood pasta salad is very tasty and had good portions of seafood. The swai was seasoned and fried perfectly. I'll definitely return."
"It was a clear October evening in Concord. At the parking lot of an elementary schools "Trunk or Treat," event I attended, I saw the black food truck with cool white lettering. It stood out nicely against the fall theme. I typically like the novelty of food trucks. They seem to try harder. Especially with a name like , "Nacho Average Food Truck," I expected exceptional eats, but that's not what I got. Thirteen dollars later, I realized I'd vastly overpaid for a very average Quesadilla with a Greek tasting, white dipping sauce. I am used to pairing Quesadillas with sour cream, guacamole or salsa. It was a very thin sandwich, with a few minuscule slithers of shredded chicken here and there. But on a happy note.... Service was super friendly. I needed a refund of one of the items, and they cheerfully and accurately processed it. If I were to patronize this truck again, I would try the nachos. The Chicken Quesadilla was a bit of a letdown."
"Fantastic. Best New York style thin pizza in the Charlotte area. The 10 inch Mew Yorker Porker was amazing. Our second trip there did not disappoint either! Will definitely return."
"Actually I thought I had already left a review for this place.Classic '50's and '60's drive in and most have inside dining.I am going to date myself but this is the type restaurant I grew up with. McDonalds was the same with Burgers for 15 cents. Burger Chef and others long gone were the same. This local chain should not be confused with the Texan What A Burger Chain and has evolved into a regional competitor It's a regional chain with a limited number of store across the Carolina's.If you're old enough to remember going to the drive in during the '50's, '60's and part of the '70's where you pulled in and place you order and a cheap but good burger was delivered shortly thereafter.Sonic has tried to duplicate the overall experience but nothing including sliders can recreate that experience.Gourmet dining with white Lenin - Answer is noBack to the basis drive in - Definitely yet"
"The food is DELICIOUS! We had a large order for 30+ people. The service was a little slow but it was worth the wait. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. If you want themTo pull up to your event or your office give them a call or check out their schedule. Thank me later!"
"Love these tacos they are so good! I drive all the way from Ballantyne for these! They are located in a good truck right in the gas stations parking lot."
"Mamacitas food truck is great for a quick yet delicious bite to eat.I love coming here with my mom to enjoy some amazing tacos . I've had the torta sandwich, and it's always flavorful. My husband loves the burritos and the sauce. Oh, and the freshly made churros are super good. I also enjoy the horchata (rice milk) almost every time I come. Thank you for the consistently amazing customer service as well.April 9th, 2024...I just enjoyed the Taco Tuesday special of three tacos with a soda for $5.99, and I thoroughly enjoyed the tacos al pastor (pork) with extra cilantro. My husband is more of a fan of the asada (steak) tacos , and he loves the red sauce because it has a nice kick. It's great that in 2024, you still have options to enjoy something different that won't break the bank.I was just pondering how interesting it is that there can be many places with similar cuisines yet be so different. What I may enjoy here, another person may enjoy elsewhere, and I think that's the beauty of food."
"After moving here from LA a few years ago, I missed authentic southern californian mexican. Chanchos did not disappoint! I tried the shrimp tacos, veggie burrito and chips and salsa. Everything was so fresh and just delicious! I could drink that salsa it's so good. We did wait a bit, but I would just wait in the car next time. This food is worth the wait! I believe they have two trucks and now I know why. Check them out now!"
"Wow this is an açaí bowl! No one else compares. Josie was so nice and friendly. Great fresh food, nice atmosphere for a food truck in ft mill."
"I've been hearing of chatter about Mariah's Taco Spot which is a food truck filled with taco goodness. Marriah's offers five varieties of tacos; chicken, beef, chipotle surf & turf, salmon and shrimp and for the chicken wing lover they offer chicken wings with your choice of two tacos and seasoned rice; be sure to get the baby oil to dip the wings in and to drizzle it on the tacos.Marriah's is not like your average food truck, if you miss her at her Freedom Drive stop you literally have to follow her on instagram to see where she'll be next. Besides having great fresh cookedfood Miles and the rest of the crew still take time with the customers, even with the lines wrapped around the corner you get service with a smile."
"Local food truck that parks next to the Neoretic Brewery! Very nice food truck! They are friendly; extremely helpful with menu suggestions and selection and fast! I couldn't try much since everything is cooked with fish sauce but what I did have was great! Lil tip if you don't like ANY spice get the full flavor option because even the mild was HOT LOL"
"Excellent coffe, friendly staff, and fun atmosphere! I highly recommend and I'll be back soon!"
"This place is an AMAZING BBQ joint!! The food is just fabulous. My favorite things are the Prime Rib sandwich and the Jalapeño grits. You just go on in and find a spot in one of their big long picnic style seats ( there is always plenty of room for everyone to sit together), and enjoy being served by their happy, nice staff! Enjoy!!"
"I got a feeling people are afraid to try this food truck because let's face it's not much to look at. Then there's not many reviews on it. I was short on time during a lunch break so I stopped by I tried the carne asada tacos 2 bucks each. They were awesome so stop by don't let appearances fool you."
"Fried turkey wings were dee-lish, 5 stars! Strawberry lemonade, loved it. Steak fries too. Salt the okra & y'all are perfection in my book. Service was second to none. Can't wait to try some other menu items."
"Lately I've been on the hunt for birria tacos. Stumbled upon this food truck for lunch. Whoa! I didn't know they would be this good! The perfect mix of authentic Mexican food and food truck vibes. The food was ready in about 5 minutes. BIRRIA...I LOVE YOUUU! Also had 2 al pastor and 2 chorizo tacos. Very fresh and tasty! You can't miss this food truck. It sits between Home Depot and Firehouse Subs near South Blvd and Woodlawn. Thank me later!"
"Best hot dogs in town. Super clean food truck and good prices. He's at the corner of S. Elm St and Bragg St. most days. I'm becoming a regular customer."
"Very different. The Birria tacos were excellent but the prices were a bit high. We will try it again without the kiddos!"
"Got here at 12am and service was still amazing and attentive. My sandwich was packed with a lot of stuff and had plenty of flavor. The employees were extremely nice and I was really grateful to receive such wonderful service late at night!!"
"Great service, and some of the best shrimp I've had in a while. Fries were tasty, and the sauces they provide are delicious. I'll be back!"
"Straight up simple tacquerio that's been here for years. Quite popular with local workers, they even have a few folding chairs to get out of the sun. Today I ordered a carnitas taco for $3.50. Hot off the grill on a double layered soft, corn taco it was packed with juicy pork, diced onions, radish slices, lettuce, cilantro, lime wedges, and sauce on the side. I thought the price was fair. Yummy, too. This stretch along Woodlawn Avenue can appear sketchy, but Tacquerio Rosita is one of the taco stands I say "give 'em a whirl." Maybe you'll like them, too."
"Just stopped by this food truck the other day and let me tell you, the food was phenomenal!!! There were quite a bit of people waiting for food and in line; however, the food didn't take long to come out. I had a torta with chorizo and my friend had the chicken quesadilla and both were so good! Highly recommend! 10/10"
"Aesthetic: Authentic Mexican food truck with great birria, staples, and desserts. Experience: I ordered out an order of birria and flan, and the meal was absolute perfection. The birria was tender and the consume dipper was delicious and flavorful. I loved that the flan came in a little heart shaped design, that was a sweet touch! I ordered delivery, but I read on Google that the food truck is located in Pull-A-Part on Tryon. Conclusion: If you love authentic Mexican classics and flan, check this spot out, it's a hidden gem!"
