Vee H. "I was in search of something different to do for my son's birthday so I stopped in to check out Escape Artist. At the time of my visit there was only one person working and she was in the back taking care of a group. She came out to briefly to answer a few questions and handed me a card showing the different rooms, she then told me to go on the website for more info then darted into the back as I snapped a few photos of the inside. I checked out the website and shared my findings with my teenage son who was not overly thrilled about getting trapped in a room and finding his was out through the clues therein! I guess I'll be back with a more mature group to check out Escape Artist."

I thought it was going to feel like a corny team old lol...but I'm so glad I was wrong! The games were well-organized, engaging, and so much fun. We laughed and enjoyed ourselves throughout the entire experience. I'd definitely go back again and highly recommend it for a fun group outing!"

Denese W. "We tried this place to get out of the house and we like escape rooms so why not. This one is in a little strip mall. There was plenty of parking. We had a Groupon for three. When we got there the lady explained everything to us. We did Sorcerer Quest and the room was very well thought out. It was over the top creative!! We loved it!!! It was not too hard but you definitely had to think and work together. She did help us when we asked. We would definitely do this room again and other rooms at this location when they become available."

LeKeshia D. "This was the first time I've been to a fully themed Escape Room. What I mean by this is that the lobby and hallway leading to the individual rooms had a haunted house/murder mystery theme going on. I very much enjoyed escaping (we did escape). It made our very large group get creative, think, and overall work together to solve all the puzzles and escape."

Donna B. "My Grandson and I visited Wantec VR yesterday. This place is AMAZING! It's very conveniently located on S. Main in Greenville near several good restaurants and Flour Field. The staff was very helpful and nice. The VR games were unbelievable! It felt like you were inside the game. The best part is feeling like you are in a skyscraper fighting zombies and having to cross a few boards nailed together to get to the next generator. It felt so real!!!! We managed to kill more zombies than I ever imagined and went back for the sequel. Then we tried the Virtual Escape room. It takes a little getting used to but once we got it, it was a blast and we managed to get out. There were a few glitches with the escape room, but remember folks, its technology, this is a new business and this can happen. The staff was right there to get us moving again. The Wednesday night special is AWESOME. $30 bucks per person for all this place has to offer and you get 4 hours of the most awesome experience ever! There are many Escape rooms and games to choose from. They also have a shooting gallery which was fun. There were can shooting, to duck hunting to situational scenarios. We took a break in there and had a blast. The Car Simulator, which is an actual simulator, not a game type, is harder than you think, but that's what makes it fun! Overall, I can't wait to go back again. As a grandmother, this was something I was able to do with the grands. They liked that I was willing to step into their world a little bit. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something different and fun. This is more for 10 or so years of age and up. Give it a go. You won't be disappointed!"

Michael N. "Pleasantly surprised with our experience here! There are quite a few positive reviews on both Trip Advisor and Yelp which prompted me to "pull the trigger" on bringing a bunch of kids here for a Birthday Party.Located in a "store front" in the Gaston Mall near the Dillard's Clearance Center.Reservations were made and paid for over the phone. All we had to do was check in. Easy Peasy. As with any escape room facility they have different themes and difficulty levels. We chose the Secret Agent Theme. Although they are not directly aimed at kids, as long as an adult is present to supervise, kids can work their way through the puzzles too (with unlimited clues to help). The kids had a blast and although they ran out of time, still felt like winners. The staff members were helpful and friendly. At the end your group gets to wear costumes and have a photo taken (which gets posted to their Twitter feed). On a personal note - one of my kids built their own escape room in our house and was super thrilled when he saw we were going to Xtreme Xcapes!"

Each clue you find leads you to the next thing to unlock. Daisy was a great facilitator. She gave us some hints when we were close and needed a slight nudge. We did the Pirate room and there was a great story. We will definitely come back to try the other rooms!"

Chris, was our game master he was very nice and quick with clues. The place was definitely clean and organized. My family really had a great time at Time Out Escape. I love how they each team posted on their website based off ranks. They even gave my husband a shirt for his bday based off the room we were end. Love it! I highly recommend this Escape place."

We asked for a few clues and were able to escape before time ended. These escape rooms are great in teaching people to work together and to use their brains. We had a lot of fun. People were nice and place was clean. We will definitely do it again!"

A J. "Hands down one of the best fun filled no fuss birthday parties we've ever thrown for our kids. From the moment we pulled up the staff and owner were outside helping us bring in food and get kids in the video game room. The setup is a gamers dream. From high end gaming chairs, a selection of Xbox, PlayStation and PC gaming devices to individual monitors, headsets and games projected on the walls, my kids and their friend had an amazing 2 1/2 hours of gaming fun. Our host (Mr. Reilly) was so knowledgeable and so patient. He stayed in the room helping get everyone setup accordingly and even shared some tips and tricks. The cherry on top of the day was the owner and his hospitable spirit that started from the time we arrived. He even put the NCAA tournament on the big screen so we parents could relax and check our brackets :). If you have a gamer in the family and want to do something fun, we highly recommend getting a dozen or so of their friends together for a battle royale at Escape Kings!!!"

Melissa Z. "This place is so fun and the perfect place to hang out with your friends and do something different or go on a date! It is $26 per person like most escape rooms, and you book in advance online. The staff was super friendly and funny, and my experience here was great. I only tried one room, but from the props, lighting, and overall quality of it I will definitely be back to try more rooms.I tried out Baruta's Revenge. This room has the lowest success rate, and is just as hard as they warn you it is. However, I always like a challenge so I did it anyways. The rooms were really creepy and they did a great job of executing the theme! The introduction to the room gave us a good scare too. One thing about this room that I wasn't the biggest fan of (spoiler alert) was that many of the challenges involved you chanting/saying phrases out loud, where you would then be heard by whoever was on the intercom and then they would unlock the next steps for you. This was different because most rooms I have played in involved more hands on activities and challenges without involving people outside the room (staff) so it took a lot of time for us to figure out we had to say things out loud rather than find a key or something in the room."

I'm watching them and my head hurts. But the staffs were really nice. Have us clues when they know we need help but too stubborn to ask. Place was clean and tidy.. Great space. Love to try other rooms without the boys."

But we definitely had a good time. They let you bring in your phone which we definitely needed for flashlights. The room is not very bright and apparently our eyes were getting older!"

I love that this place gives you a discount if you book another game before you leave! Not sure on when you'll return? Put it on a gift card to get that discount. Maddie K. "We had a blast (pun intended!) at the new Beat the Bomb in South End. It's a unique and fun experience that the Charlotte neighborhood needs for all ages. You can have a group of 4-8 people to work together to complete puzzles and escape rooms. The last room is where you try to "beat the bomb" or you get blasted with paint (or foam - you choose). The staff was friendly, explained everything clearly, and made sure we were all set up before starting. We went with VIP which you got a free shirt, free videos of your game experience, a free drink and appetizer. For all of that its a pretty good price! The signature cocktails were super sweet and sugary, I wasn't a fan, but they do have a full bar. The dips also all came out cold, but the pretzel bites were delicious. Our video footage wasn't sent to us so the staff had to re-download it all onto a USB for us which took about 20 minutes. Overall, I'd recommend Beat the Bomb if you're looking for something exciting or to bring out of town guests to. It's a great addition to the area, and I'll definitely be back!"

Charlie (IDK if that was his real name) was a great game master and we were very entertained by how he got into character. Bank heist is a really fun room and we escaped. We had such a good time we went again today before heading to the airport to go home. This time we did twisted. Super challenging and we didn't quite make it, but we had a fantastic time. Again, really enjoyed "Charlie" and his colleague getting into character. If you like escape rooms, this location is a must visit!"

We met Tara who lead us into our mission to find the doctor that could make the antidote to save humanity. If you like puzzles, and you'll have a blast. It's pretty interesting figuring stuff out and when you get stuck, just ask for help and a voice from the sky aka the -masters will give you. Clue to help you over the hurdle. I love the detail in the escape rooms, everything from the glowing letters and numbers to to drop down shelves and drawers that open. This is a Covid safe activity since you are only with your group; I highly recommend Valcarol Missions Scape room in Concord, NC. Thanks Tara for our escape and for helping us save the world!"
