"So, I'm lying on the couch early on a Saturday morning trying to determine whether to get more sleep or to go get donuts. Cut 30 minutes later and I was at NC Donut Star ordering a dozen of what looked to be delicious, and huge, donuts. There was one person working the counter and she did a good job describing the different selections, and let me tell you some of the donuts looked "out there." There was even a donut with what looked like Cinnamon Toast Crunch on top of it. Intriguing but maybe not something I would order.The donuts in the middle of the display window can be filled with any of a variety of creams, custards, and jellies. However I think they do themselves a disservice by limiting the ones that can be filled. The donuts on the sides of the display are "as is."I ended up getting two each of maple bacon, s'mores, lemon filled, raspberry filled, Bavarian cream, and a couple with a toasted coconut/caramel/chocolate topping. The donuts were fresh, tender, and delicious. I'll probably come back again."

"This is a popular donut shop in a shared shopping area. There is plenty of parking they have indoor and outdoor seating arrangement for you to enjoy the treats. I quite enjoyed the glaze doughnut found my cinnamon roll doughnut to taste like an apple fritter that was very unpleasant and I was not expecting that. The staff appeared friendly. The establishment was clean. I hope that you enjoy your experience."

"So today I stopped at green brothers juice for a smoothie and a Move That Dough blueberry lemon doughnut. Let me tell YALL that was an amazing experience. The pop of the blueberry in your mouth compliments the moist and gooey doughnut. The fresh ingredients really come through in the doughnut. It is the perfect blend of flavors. The doughnut is moist and gooey and just wonderful. It's also made out of ingredients that are good for you. I can't wait to get it again."

There were a variety of flavors to chose from, decisions-decisions. The staff were very help answering any questions. All the donuts we bought were delicious, nice and fluffy in the inside. Can't forget they were reasonably priced for such great quality. This location is near my job, put the word out about the new donut shop in town."

"OMG. There are Donuts, then there are Yumm Donuts. Fresh, sweet, soft, delightful donuts. You can't miss. A huge variety of flavors from plain glazed to samoas, red velvet, butterfinger, maple bacon and beyond! They will custom fill your filled donuts with choices of lemon, raspberry, vanilla and pastry/custard cream (in plain and chocolate covered) . I don't think there is ANY donut shop south of Angel Food Donuts in the Twin Cities that's better than Yumm! Super nice folks, great service too!A box of a dozen works out to about $2/donut but they're absolutely worth it! Oh, and the donuts are huge! Yumm!"

The flavor was very good.... but not as good as Lang Van. The strawberry boba milk tea was the best part of the meal. So much flavor ! I also got a chicken and rice dish. Wowza, this was unexpectedly spicy. I love spicy food, so not a problem for me. However, for other folks, be warned. The chicken was dark meat. Both items had large portions. The menu looks interesting and I'd love to return and try out more items. I will definately be back !"

"Milkbread has croissants and bagels now?! That was news to me so I had to go try them. My partner had the ham and cheese croissant. The filling is baked in as opposed to layered on like a sandwich. He liked it but said he would prefer a little more flavor from the mustard. On the other hand, I thought the turkey sandwich on everything bagel was tasty but had too much mustard. It's the kind that goes straight to your nose. The bagel itself was quite good and the rest of the toppings complemented each other nicely - turkey, avocado, pepper jack cheese. The matcha was prepared well - earthy with a slight sweetness. However, the cup was only half full so I felt like I only got 50% of my money's worth. Ordered pickup through the app which was easy and ready on time. Took the food to go but noticed that they did have heaters setup for the outdoor seating area."
