"Milkbread has croissants and bagels now?! That was news to me so I had to go try them. My partner had the ham and cheese croissant. The filling is baked in as opposed to layered on like a sandwich. He liked it but said he would prefer a little more flavor from the mustard. On the other hand, I thought the turkey sandwich on everything bagel was tasty but had too much mustard. It's the kind that goes straight to your nose. The bagel itself was quite good and the rest of the toppings complemented each other nicely - turkey, avocado, pepper jack cheese. The matcha was prepared well - earthy with a slight sweetness. However, the cup was only half full so I felt like I only got 50% of my money's worth. Ordered pickup through the app which was easy and ready on time. Took the food to go but noticed that they did have heaters setup for the outdoor seating area."

Absolutely knocks it out of the park when it comes to donuts. I like the feature of allowing customers to choose their own fillings. One suggestion, because I didn't see it there, would be to offer angel filling as an option. I'm not personally a fan of angel filling, but some people prefer it to Bavarian cream. It's a very clean establishment and the service was top notch. I'll definitely be back again soon.

We ordered two Honey Glazed Donuts and one Doggie Donut for our pup. Service was immediate and the donuts were sweet, crispy, and had a denseness and color that reminded me a bit of cornbread...I loved it.The coffee however, wasn't anything to ride home about. But if you're looking for something fast in NoDa, it does the trick.

I have spent the last 43 years scouring Earth for the perfect donut. My exhausting search ended at strip mall in Matthews, NC. Your Mom's Donut's had the answers (donuts) that I was looking for. Their delightfully soft donuts were the pinnacle of my life long donut trek. At times I almost gave up, but I powered through millions of pathetic cake donuts before finding the glorious square donuts at Your Mom's donuts.

Amazing. I heard about this place for years and it has always been on my bucket list but due to time and location I could never get there and try their donuts.I finally was able to visit the place today and it is worth all the hype.The lady behind the counter was very kind and happy to fill out my order.She answered questions concerning the donut types, and when I forgot to ask for a receipt she gave the store printed receipt. She even added a handful of donut holes for free. A wonderful woman indeed.I chose a half dozen to take with me.The were so delicious that I could not stop eating them.Each standard donut were light and airy. An easy chew that made it pleasurable to eat.They were:1) Glazed donut - A lightly sweet glaze without being too sweet.2) Chocolate covered glazed donut - Soft sweet chocolate flavor that washed over the and melted into the donut flavor.3) Butterscotch covered glazed donut - As soon as you bite into the butterscotch you can tell the rest of your day will be as sweet.4) Cinnamon glazed donut - Before biting into the donut, you can smell the cinnamon, and it permeates your mouth as you devour this pleasant donut.5) Chocolate glazed sourdough donut - a thick rich cake donut batter that is extra crunchy. Not too sweet but very satisfying.6) Vanilla glazed cake donut - as with the sourdough donut, a thick but soft cake batter that was not too sweet but you could tell that this was a cake donut.Overall, a check mark off the bucket list and a place I would highly recommend to anyone that wants delicious donuts.

Donuts are common but The Salty Donut is rare. These are not the inexpensive mass produced ones you get at the Krispy people or the Dunkies people. These are small batch made and they're awesome.After my Candied Pistachio, I suddenly realized that I couldn't return home empty handed. So on the way out, I perused the display and decided that Mrs. K. would be enjoying the Whipped Lemon Ricotta Bombolini. Not cheap at $4.30 but wow, amazing.Yes, I was warned when offered a bite that it had to be a small one so I did so. Strong lemon flavor and just like my Candied Pistachio, perfection.The Salty Donut also offers traditional glazed, Samoa Cookie, Cookie Monster and Cragels. They have Vegan and Gluten Free donuts too!Note that the address is correct but they are on the Camden side of the building. There is two hour street parking in front and they validate up to two hours in the building's parking deck.[Review 65 of 2025 - 4040 in North Carolina - 23633 overall]

Great selection of tasty baked items and gelato. I picked up a couple vegan cinnamon buns and some vegan lemon sorbet to go. Service was good. The cinnamon bun was amazing, moist, not too sweet, and huge! The wide selection of vegan options is a major bonus for the area and much appreciated.

We stopped in between our kid's soccer games for a quick bite. We loved the cozy atmosphere. It was like stepping into a grandmother's kitchen. The pastries are large and delicious. Service was friendly. I only lament this isn't close to our house. Definitely will be back!

Ordered delivery and it hit the spot. Got chicken tenders, chicken bites, kale Caesar salad and a biscuit. The only item I didn't really enjoy was the kale Caesar, it's made with baby kale and it was very soggy. This restaurant group also LOVES crumbles on everything and they always end up tasting like your eating sand with your salad/meal... it's not appetizing. The chicken and sauces were great though and the biscuit was delicious!!

"This is a popular donut shop in a shared shopping area. There is plenty of parking they have indoor and outdoor seating arrangement for you to enjoy the treats. I quite enjoyed the glaze doughnut found my cinnamon roll doughnut to taste like an apple fritter that was very unpleasant and I was not expecting that. The staff appeared friendly. "Donuts are awesome. Right now order online and schedule your pick up time ( at least 2 hours in advance). We ordered an assorted dozen. 2nd trip ordered 6 muffins. Muffins were tasty , but undersized at $2.50 each. Walk up window limits contact. My advice is to get a dozen of each kind of donuts and skip the muffins. There are some items available which do lot appear in the website menu, but get there early for best selection."

There was about three employees present and no clear order. The person making the donuts was putting a ton of sauce or glaze on the donuts. I had only one and gave the rest away. I would say the the one on kenilworth is better and the staff are welcoming there. No one said thank you or greeted me. They didn't have napkins and it was dirty. How do you just open and it's not too clean?! The staff had long strung hair no hair nets. You could tell they wiped hair after doing products as sugar glaze was on hat and hair. I requested staff to change gloves but I hope that someone from the other location can train or educate the team here for this to be successful. It's in a prime location."
