"I recently visited La Belle Helene for a celebration, and it was a wonderful experience. The decor immediately stood out--high-end and stylish, creating a chic atmosphere perfect for special occasions. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive, providing top-notch service that made the evening even more enjoyable.I started with the French onion soup, which was rich and flavorful but a little too oily for my taste, so I couldn't finish it. The arugula salad, however, was fresh and delicious, a perfect balance of flavors. "This place has a little bit of everything! From coffee to ice cream to local goods! I loved walking through the shop and seeing what all they had to offer. It's super cute inside and very welcoming. There's lots of space and table to work or meetup with friends. It was a real chill atmosphere that I like a lot.I purchased some local honey that we love. It was really nice to be able to buy it there. We usually buy our local honey from the farmers market but sometimes it's hard to drive down there so this was super convenient for us. We also ordered a few of their seasonal lattes, mine was just okay. I also tried a breakfast sandwich, that was just okay too. Not bad, but lacked some flavor. I think next trip I'll stick to the sweets and see how those are. They had a large selection of sweets and that is right up my alley. I'll definitely come back to check out more items and a differnt coffee. Great spot overall!!"

"Pik N Pig has to be one of the best barbq joint in North Cackalacky . I swear to higher ups! Someone told me to come check this place out It's our there in the woods right by the airport To me, being able to enjoy some tasty yummy barbecue brisket, pork chops, smoked chicken and pulled pork while watching the planes take off and land is such a fun and unique experience for people of all ages. Service is outstanding and the atmosphere can't get any better. It was 80 degrees and no clouds. What a day to spent on a Sunday yeah .My favorite was the smoked chicken. Our table had the Shrimp Diablo, Eggplant Parmesan and the Chicken Marsala. All very solid options. The eggplant was layered between ricotta and the spaghetti that came with it was a perfect compliment. My friends also loved their entree. The best part was our server Noah, he was soooo sweet, nice and attentive. Really exceptional service. Definitely would come back next time I'm in town."

"I ordered to go delivery through a meal delivery service and this transported pretty well. We ordered two orders of the chicken tikka masala, levels 4 and 5 for spiciness. Level 4 was recommended on the ordering app and was advertised as mild to medium and 5 was medium. There was virtually no difference between the two flavors and they were beyond spicy. The flavor was great, sauce was creamy, the rice perfect so I 10/10 will order this again but I will probably tone it down to a 2. I can handle some heat but this was so too spicy for my liking and I was sweating. I'd like to think there was a mix up in the levels added and I'm not that big of a whimp but it was probably me just being a big whimp! The good news is the portions were large so I was able to save some for leftovers. When I reheated the next day, some of the spice disappeared and I was able to eat it no problem! I definitely recommend the garlic naan. It's buttery, garlic galore and flaky. My perfect bite with this meal is getting a piece of naan, a piece of chicken and some sauce and pop it right in! Amazing! I look forward to trying this again!"

"My girlfriend recently relocated from Huntersville to Troutman and while researching places to eat and drink I found Pellegrino's. Perusing their website it was nice to see they were originally from New Jersey as that is where we were both born and raised. Besides the food we were excited to see they also baked fresh bread and made homemade fresh mozzarella. We stopped in a couple of months ago and ordered a plain cheese pizza to go and a loaf of bread. Both were excellent. We returned to have lunch a couple of days ago and the pizza was excellent. On both occasions we had the pleasure of chatting with the owner. It was funny finding out that we frequented some of the same drinking establishments in NJ. Nice people and I highly recommend trying this place."

It reminded me of a super traditional Italian restaurant with a modern but still authentic twist. We got pizza, beef short ribs and Caesar salad with shrimp, everything tasted homemade and fresh. We celebrated someone's birthday and even got a free dessert. We went for the cannoli cake, picture a deconstructed cannoli but in cake form! It was one of the best things I ever had! I have tasted a few things, key lime tart (my husband's favorite and theirs does not disappoint), raspberry lemon tart - AMAZING, Oreo cheesecake - delicious, and a few other things. The staff is always super attentive and helpful, always willing to answer questions to help you decide. I will admit, they are pricy. I ordered a key lime tart for Thanksgiving, a small, and it was almost $40 with tax. It came out absolutely gorgeous (I told them they could be creative and do whatever they wanted with the top) but we could do with a simple pie for $20. I'm learning to make it now because I can't sustain my husband's addiction at that price. I would definitely still order from them for special events in the future though.They also sell wine, which we attempted to buy but were turned off by the selection. It seems they had some average wines, and then some pretty expensive ones but not a lot in the middle. My husband knows wine better than me and couldn't find one he wanted so we didn't buy it. He also said they weren't being stored correctly for the age of some of them, I'm clueless, maybe for the cork drying? Who knows, but go for dessert!!!"

I'm not a fan. Their meat selections was very good. I was surprised not to see any fish selections. But hey I'm ok with it. The customer service was phenomenal. She was alway on top of things. And very accommodating. For the ambiance. It's nice that I didn't have to dress up., because I really wanted to wear paternity pants with all the food that I was eating. However, my only complaint is the music. For a Saturday night. It being a full house. I can't even hear myself think. And there were 8 ppl at our table. There are about 7-8 soft serve stations to choose from with multiple combos. I had a chocolate-vanilla shake with fresh coconut and whipped cream added and it was EXCELLENT. My wife had a Tahitian vanilla sundae with numerous toppings including peanuts, cookies, hot fudge, caramel sauce, and whipped cream. Dynamite. The owner is teaching his kids how to help the customers and its great to see the whole family involved. We will definitely be going back to support this local small business."
