"I was craving a good sandwich and found this place. I love it here! They are always fast! I love the chicken salad sandwich --- NO RAISINS! The sweet treats at the register are dangerous, they are always so good. Parking is tough around here but their speediness help you get in and out!"
"When I was visiting my friend in Fort Mill, he went out to grab some bagels in the morning. I was not expecting much.I was PLEASANTLY surprised in the most delicious way. I took one bite of this bagel and cream cheese and was like, "this is a good bagel Travis." I took another bite of the bagel and was like, "this is like actually a really good bagel Travis." I probably said it like 5 times. The chew on this bagel was *chefs kiss*. I also decided to got a chicken caesar wrap because everything was so incredibly affordable. The flavor of the wrap was good... but the filling to tortilla ratio was a bit off. There was a lot of tortilla folded on other tortilla because of lack of filling. That said, the sparse filling inside was VERY good. The chicken was super fresh and the Caesar dressing was pretty darn tasty. There were just a few too many bites that were completely tortilla. Would go back. Just to emphasize... this is a pretty good bagel Travis."

"I've had this bookmarked a while and let me tell you it should be moved to the top of your list!!! This is the best avacado toast with egg I've ever had!! Fluffy avacado and - I dont do spicy so it's just a hint of spice and picked onion! Wow!! Incredible. The sandwich as well- top of the top! Do it!"
"Fun store and deli. Excellent fresh sandwiches made to order. Small cooler fridge with fresh salads from pesto pasta to curried chicken and tuna salad. Large selection of chips, fair trade chocolate, drinks, wine and beer. They also have soups. We had the #9 on sourdough with Thai chili chips and the pesto pasta."
"Charlotte's mediocre NY style deli. The pastrami in my sandwich was lacking flavor, too soft and over steamed. The round potato knish was underbaked and greasy also. The rye bread however was excellent, soft with a good crust."
"Fiancee and I stopped in craving a close to authentic NY bagel, and we found so much more!!! Didn't expect to be invited to sit down in their cozy little dining area. We loved the sports decor...but the food!!!Ordered a build your own omlete that was so good I ordered a Cuban to go.At home eating the Cuban now while leaving this review and the Cuban is all NEW YORK!!!!!BTW, we both were blown away with the authentic NY bagel. This is a must try and we will return!!"
"As always Rusty's Deli never fails to satisfy! Food / Service / Staff are excellent as always! I've been coming to Rusty's since 1989 and today my youngest daughter got to come as well and absolutely loved her chicken salad. Thank you!!"
"Had the wild mushrooms ravioli and they were delicious!! It came with 8 pieces i believe. The food here is sooo fresh. Cesar dressing is home made and DELICIOUS! i'm obsessed The workers are kind and very helpful I also had the turkey sandwich and the italian cold sub, both were delicious. This restaurant is amazing, very clean food."
"We recently went to Poppyseeds Bagels to find deli comfort foods to cater my mother's funeral. The staff was amazing, and they worked with us to plan and place the order. On the day of the funeral, they recognized us when we pulled up, and started to bring the order to the car before we'd even walked inside. The smoked salmon platter and pastry platter were both beautiful, the salads (egg, tuna and whitefish) were delicious, and of course, the bagels and bialys were fantastic. We don't live nearby, but we will go back as often as possible to try everything, including their breakfast specials!"
"This is the OG Pasta and Provisions location. I remember coming here as a child/ teen and getting the delicious cannolis. They were always stuffed full of the sweet ricotta cream and full of chocolate chips. It was a lovely treat as a kid. They have a wide variety of pasta and a small grocery area of fine Italian goods. We would mostly get the homemade ravioli (Butternut Squash and Lobster were my favorites), Basil Goat Cheese spread and Focaccia The only bad thing about this location and the reason I don't visit now is the parking. They have a few spaces up front and the store front is on busy Providence Rd. Pasta and Provisions 1528 Providence RdCharlotte, NC 28207"
"Our sandwiches were delicious! Reminds me of Italian delis back in NYC. Highly recommend. Pictured is the Italian and it was phenomenal. The service was also on point. Very welcoming."
"I love the variety in which this joint has to offer. I will say the blueberry bagel has absolutely zero flavor despite the bold, bluish color of the bagel. Any egg and bagel breakfast sandwich kinda sucks. There is such little egg and the bagels are SOOO DRY. It's like putting a goldfish (egg) on top of a triscuit (bagel). Also they are not gluten friendlY- despite what they say; They toast the gluten free bread in the same toaster as any other bagel or bread."

Great spot for cheap drinks and to begin a great night. At cost beverages and a good crowd, good music and their breakfast deli is fire!!!

Believe the hype - This place is truly legitimate. This is the closest that you will get to a New York/Long Island Style Sit Down Bagel Shop in the Charlotte Region. I'm amazed how close this place is to our apartment in Charlotte. Bagel sandwiches are made to order and these guys actually will get your order correct. They have a wide array of fresh bagels. Toasting is not necessary! Staff/Crew are incredibly friendly, efficient and polite. I can promise you, you won't get strange looks from staff when you ask for "Scrambled Soft, Everything Bagel - Salt, Butter, Pepper & Ketchup" - Thank You! Great selection of Coffee and Coffee Drinks; - Excellent set up with just the right amount of space to sit down and relax. Staff are efficient and keep things moving right along. Limited "Bottle Necking" - which is a relief. Nevertheless, this place can get very busy. Impressed with the wide assortment of cookies that are sold in the front. Owners are pleasant guys from Massapequa, Long Island. They "Insisted" that I try the Macaroni Salad; - Yes, it was fantastic. We are definitely returning! Calming vibe; All too often, places like this - everyone gets overwhelmed and stressed. These guys really hit the nail on the head with their design of the location and flow/traffic management. Again - Staff are very friendly and customer focused! Bagels were great! Coffee was great! Plenty of parking - don't stress!

Why have I never been here before?! It's been on my list for so long, but something always came up and just never got around to trying it out. I am so glad I did today. The staff is friendly, service is great, and sandwiches are phenomenal. Their flavor profiles, creativity, fresh and quality ingredients, and house made spread are amazing. I cannot say enough good things and I cannot wait to come back. I know this is where I'm taking friends any time they're craving a good deli sandwich.

Real deal my wife and I go there for breakfast early in the morning and his breakfast sandwiches are cheaper than McDonald's and Wendy's and better. His raspberry crumb cake from New York is the real deal. It's awesome.

Some of the best chicken salad you'll ever have! They catered for our meetings with a large telecommunications company for many years and always try to drop in and get my fix right from the source. They are quite friendly and the service is always quick. It's a very homey and relaxed atmosphere that is quite reminiscent of the 80's deli restaurant. You'll be blessed by stopping by this lovely establishment.

This is a small but mighty store! I LOVE the goat cheese and pesto spread, it's rich in flavor. It's great on sandwiches or dipping. They also have great chocolate cookies from Italy as well. I picked up a rosemary loaf for dipping in EVOO and to pick up extra sauce my pasta missed. AKA - una scarpetta. Date Night Idea - pick up some wine and pizza dough (or a kit), some spreads and toppings for a pizza night. Everyone there is super friendly too!

"This is a good spot to grab a quick casual breakfast or lunch. I had the Cindy's Turkey sandwich. Sounds like blah but it's not at all. The mix of flavors and textures was really good- try the bollilo bread that they make in- house. Also the staff was super friendly- the type who remember you and what you usually order. This was my first time here. I'd definitely go back."
"I've been to the Common Market Oakwold on Monroe many times and decided to try this place since I was in the area. Similar vibe, maybe a little calmer on a Thursday lunch time. People here are friendly and the food is just as delicious as it is on the other location. If you're in the area, give this place a"
"While the bagels and style of Mike's is typical of a bagel shop in NYC or Long Island, I was a little frustrated with the service. Typically, in NYC, when you order just a bagel with cream cheese, the person who takes your order will just go ahead and make your bagel (that's the way it was done for the 19 years l lived in NY). It just makes sense. Instead, it was put in with the orders for people who ordered several breakfast bagels. As a result, I waited almost 20 minutes for a bagel with cream cheese. Typically, I just get a dozen bagels and take them home which is what I'll do going forward. It's not a knock on Mike's or the people working there because it's a great place with good bagels. I just wish they would change the process of completing simple orders."
"The homemade sour dough grilled cheese was . The tomato soup was warm and saucy. My gf loves the pumpkin pie french toast. Im bit a big pumpkin guy but I took a bite and it was great (get the syrup) The vibes here were great, it was a nice warm day in Feb and there were a lot of people but it was not too busy. Our waitress was amazing and some other staff members helped out as well who were equally as nice and cheerful. Only issue was finding parking but theres a garage attached to the place and it has "free" parking as long as you remember to ask them validate when you leave which is great. We will certainly be back"
"Mean sandwich, so tasty and worth the drive. I had a hot pastrami sandwich and it was so freshening to have a really classic proper pastrami on marble rye. I felt like I was in a real Jewish NYC Deli there for a second. Atmosphere is about average. Food (Black Angus Pastrami on Marble Rye) is excellent. Service was excellent."
"Lunch special 2dogs and a side $9 bucks. NY deli style. Good dogs. Great service. NY owner. Could tell because of the 9/11 FDNY pics. I can relate. Love the ambiance."
"Charlotte's best meatball sub, at least in my opinion. While getting my lunch I also always grab a pizza and some tiramisu for later. This is a local staple and you won't be disappointed."
"This place popped up on my Yelp feed. I don't think I had ever gone to a Yelp Feed place before. But I was excited because there are bagels! Aside from here, there are only two good bagel places in the area. One is far and the other doesn't have the friendliest customer service. So I was happy to find The Counter. While at the counter at The Counter, they asked my name. I literally didn't know what to say: Dan or Tyler (pen name). At this point, 95% of people call my Tyler. It has unintentionally taken over my life. Somehow, this led to a mini life conversation at the counter at The Counter. Both employees were super chill and friendly. And we agreed on some life philosophies. For the food, the bagel was super buttery, which was great. I don't know why I love butter so much but I own it. Respect to the anti-herd butter crowd. The Turkey Sandwich on a Kaiser Roll (reminds me of sitting at a table by a pool in Florida) was very good, and the seasoned chips are made in-house. Most people would choose the sandwich and chips, and that makes sense. But I will go with the bagel on future visits--gotta get that butter! Definitely recommended."
"Good value and great food! Love the Turkey Rueben Sandwich and Matzo Ball Soup! Service is always good as well."
"A great place. Food is delish. I wish they were open on Sunday. Love their ribeye night"
"Love the Villager deli... it's where the locals eat and our favorite! We have been bringing Ellie our beloved Sheltie since she was a puppy!!"
"First time trying Mommas place for lunch - got the club and fries- it was delicious and was a hefty portion size (yay -leftovers!!) Owner and staff were super friendly!! Will be back!"
"GUY PREPARING FOOD WAS NOT WEARING A MASK!!! It's not a chin strap/Diaper..... WEAR IT CORRECTLY WHEN PREPARING FOOD!!!Sandwich was very good. 5 stars otherwise - but I like staying alive after eating. Don't make me sick from your laziness."
"It was my first time eating here and I'm very impressed. I went during lunch hour and I was out within 7-10mins, tops! I got a cheeseburger, fries, and a bottled soda. The burger was fresh and made exactly how I wanted it and the bun was toasted just slightly which was satisfying. There is plenty of seating for dining in however, I took my order to go. They accept card and Apple Pay which is very convenient. Nice place to grab lunch if you're near the airport."
"Hands down best Philly cheese steak I've ever had. The flavors are everything. The bread, the meat, the cheese, the veggies. 10/10. This sandwich might be my death row meal if given the option. Do yourself a favor and order this sandwich. Don't have a pic because I ate it too fast"
"So so good. While they could use some updating to the lobby area, the food and service was wonderful. We ordered bacon egg cheese bagel and a sausage egg cheese bagel. I also got a French toast cinnamon for my very picky boys. They loved it. I got a cinnamon raisin with butter. Omg. So wonderful and filling. Loved it. Our service was lovely. I wish I had ordered bagels to take back to OHIO."
"First, the people were sweet at Levine. Very nice. The stars are for them. The food on the other hand was terrible. TERRIBLE as in no stars. Stopped by for a sandwich at the end of the day (maybe that is the reason for poor quality), ordering a Club Sub, no cheese. I had high hopes, but they were soon dashed. The turkey was gray and the ham was dried out. I've eaten a lot of turkey (including some a few hours ago from a neighboring Sandwich Club), but I've never seen they let this shade of gray. Both had that sour smell of cold cuts that sat outside for too long. I tossed all of the meat rather than risk eating it. The bacon and tomato jam were mysteriously missing. How do you have a club without bacon? They did include a few tomato slices. The herb mayo tasted an awful lot like Miracle Whip to me. I asked if could replace the cheddar and Swiss (I hate Swiss) with mozzarella. The mozzarella wasn't bad, but they added Swiss too (it joined its meat cousins in the trash.)Thankfully I grabbed a bag of chips and a $4 cookie to tide me over for the night. So $21 for a cookie, bag of chips, two slices of bread that were falling apart, two slices of tomato, a chunk of mozzarella and some Miracle Whip. Never again."
"Been going here for years shout out the owner she's an amazing and super kind individual and buisness is always great"
"Food was good. The fries were just okay, not very fresh, and the hush puppies were average. The patty melt was delicious. The service was excellent, however, the menu had much to choose from, and I really appreciated the fact that they were playing Christian music."
"Never got the chance to experience Meshugganah before, so today was the day. Ordered the Pastrami on Rye with mustard, potato and onion knish, Matzoh ball soup. Pastrami was rich and tender and they gave good cuts, not much fat at all. Not stacked as high as what I was used to seeing up north for $18 to $27, but very tasty. Knish was one of the best I've had. Soft, warm, very hearty. 4/5 stars only because the soup wasn't up to par. I make my own, so I know the care that goes into it, but there was no seasoning (very much lacked salt) and the carrots and Celery were crunchy, meaning they were added at the end and not part of the stock. We Didn't have the chopped liver or the cakes or bobka but they looked real good.Advice: Hidden gem, emphasis on the hidden. Go to Dresslers, walk to the right of it toward the trails and around the back to the right. There are just a few tables outside, so plan for it to go unless the weather is nice."
"I never got to try this place when it was Adam's 7th street market, but I noticed that it has since reopened as 7th St NY Deli. As you can tell from their name they appear to take inspiration from the bodegas and delis NYC is known for. I will let a native New Yorker opine as to whether or not they meet this criteria, but after trying some of their food I am intrigued and certainly willing to explore their menu some more. They offer a long list of traditional deli sandwiches, as well as breakfast sandwiches, wings, burgers, and gyros. I most recently ordered their Crispy Clucker wrap and a side of 6 wings. I thought both were solid and wouldn't hesitate to order again. They have a lot of toasted sandwich options that look intriguing to me so I will for sure be back. If you are in need of a quick lunch or breakfast sandwich I would for sure recommend stopping in."
"I can't even begin to articulate how GREAT this place is. The food is amazing and very reasonably priced.I highly recommend going for breakfast. The biscuits are out of this world. And don't even get me started on the country ham. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.Oakhill is also a small family run business and a places where everyone knows each other. Get there early though, they close the grill at 2 pm."
