"Allegiance Coffee is such a cute surprise! I ordered their iced Americano and oatmeal cream pie. My coffee was really great and well made. And my oatmeal cream pie was so yummy, chewy, and sweet. Was it too sweet? Well, it was on the slightly sweeter side, but it paired perfectly with my Americano! I'd definitely order it again.P.S. The interior of this place is super chic and modern. If you're an Instagram influencer, you'll love taking photos here! They have a good amount of seating both inside and outside. Also, the parking lot is huge and paved. And they even offer drive-through. Very cool!"

"I've been a fan of this company for over 15 years. We began patronizing the Common Market in the Southend of Charlotte which had a wonderful shaded alley lined with chairs, plantings, and unique people. Sipping wine on a sunny afternoon and enjoying a sandwich was a simple pleasure that reminded us of Ronda, Mykonos, Rome or somewhere way cooler than anywhere called home.So, I was excited to learn that East Frank's is the same owner and has modeled this location after the others (NoDa, Oakwold, etc.). Same great food, quirky way to order (yet it works), vino, beer, hot sauces, and unique gifts with enough social spice to get the ladies from the prayer group all in a tizzy.Often, I will drop in on a lazy Sunday morning and order a breakfast sammie to go. I've tasted almost all of them and heartily recommend trying one, too. Grab a seat at the counter, order a cappuccino, and while the day away.As one of Monroe's unique go-to places for an experience outside the ordinary, my "Give 'em a whirl" meter is huffing and puffing, "Yes, yes, yes"! Go here."

"I've driven by this coffee shop thousands of times and always wanted to try it out. The other day I went in and was absolutely shocked how massive and cute the interior is. I ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte with whipped cream and it was absolutely delicious. I noticed that they had a lot of muffins, sandwiches, other drinks, and sweet treats. I didn't try any, but they looked very delicious. The young man behind the counter was so kind. Everyone who worked in there seem to have a kind of light about them!! Would definitely recommend Hope House coffee to everyone near the forest city area!"

"Aesthetic: Upbeat, bright brewery in the heart of Southend with a wide variety of beers on draft. My Favorites: It's not technically local, but I loved the Bludacris cider since it's gf friendly. Experience: We were waiting for a dinner reservation, and we decided to wait and have a drink at Wooden Robot. I've recently transitioned to gluten free, so the Bludacris cider was one of the only options I could have. It was delicious and not too sweet for a cider. The atmosphere was lively and bright, and we enjoyed our short hang out here. We will definitely try it again, when in Southend."

"CALLING ALL JAZZ LOVERS!! Charlotte has welcomed this amazing new cocktail jazz lounge and let me tell you, it's a whole vibe! Best of all....NO cover charge! the service was great, drinks tasty and music amazing! They open at 5 for the 21+ crowd for cocktails, and live band starts at 8. They will eventually have coffee shop items during the day. I highly recommend getting there early to find a seat because the place is small and intimate. There is free parking but the lot and streets can fill up quick. I'm so glad Charlotte now has a chill lounge to relax in without being limited to a ticketed show that only last for abt an hr and half like other jazz venues."

"Coordinates coffee was organized to come to our neighborhood (just message them on IG to set it up)! The came Saturday from 8am-12pm and setup the cutest little truck! You place your order from the Cloosiv app and they message you when it's ready. My husband got thee caramel ice latte and I got the vanilla bean lavender ice latte. Both were delicious, but we agreed the lavender took the cake. It was a unique flavor but not too overpowering. The lattes were served with whole, almond or oat milk. We choose the whole milk which made for a nice and creamy texture. The two owners were delightful and our orders were made promptly. The 12oz lattes will cost you $5.50, but they also offer a 24oz latte in a plastic "juice box" bag for $9.75. Right now the 24oz comes in a "black lives matter" bag. Great to support local, and a company that believes in what's right in this world."

There were lots of great menu items to choose from that all sound tasty. I went for the grilled chicken sandwich and it tasted great! I sat by the fireplace outside and enjoyed my meal and atmosphere. Employees were nice and hardworking to keep tables clean and customers happy. The only thing I wish was better was the layout and comfort of their tables and chairs. Most are hard metal chairs and for my old back I just wasn't as comfortable as I could be. I will definitely go back to try more menu items!"

"This place is adorable, bright and fun! I've been wanting to come here for a while so a meeting popped up and I suggested this spot. It's inside a building near uptown with an attached garage. Luckily they do validate parking for an hour or two, I can't recall the exact details. But the fact that they do validate was amazing. It's really so cute inside, you could work here all day and just enjoy the scenery. They have real plants and little cubbies you can relax in. The young lady behind the counter was super nice and helpful. I ordered a latte and since it was Halloween they had these themed cups that I just adored lol. I think they usually have pastries but they were out that day. That's really my only complaint cause I was hungry lol. Otherwise, this place is definitely a great coffee spot to check out!!!"
