"Allegiance Coffee is such a cute surprise! I ordered their iced Americano and oatmeal cream pie. My coffee was really great and well made. And my oatmeal cream pie was so yummy, chewy, and sweet. Was it too sweet? Well, it was on the slightly sweeter side, but it paired perfectly with my Americano! I'd definitely order it again.P.S. The interior of this place is super chic and modern. If you're an Instagram influencer, you'll love taking photos here! They have a good amount of seating both inside and outside. Also, the parking lot is huge and paved. And they even offer drive-through. Very cool!"
"I've been a fan of this company for over 15 years. We began patronizing the Common Market in the Southend of Charlotte which had a wonderful shaded alley lined with chairs, plantings, and unique people. Sipping wine on a sunny afternoon and enjoying a sandwich was a simple pleasure that reminded us of Ronda, Mykonos, Rome or somewhere way cooler than anywhere called home. So, I was excited to learn that East Frank's is the same owner and has modeled this location after the others (NoDa, Oakwold, etc.). Same great food, quirky way to order (yet it works), vino, beer, hot sauces, and unique gifts with enough social spice to get the ladies from the prayer group all in a tizzy.Often, I will drop in on a lazy Sunday morning and order a breakfast sammie to go. I've tasted almost all of them and heartily recommend trying one, too. Grab a seat at the counter, order a cappuccino, and while the day away.As one of Monroe's unique go-to places for an experience outside the ordinary, my "Give 'em a whirl" meter is huffing and puffing, "Yes, yes, yes"! Go here."

"I've driven by this coffee shop thousands of times and always wanted to try it out. The other day I went in and was absolutely shocked how massive and cute the interior is. I ordered an iced pumpkin spice latte with whipped cream and it was absolutely delicious. I noticed that they had a lot of muffins, sandwiches, other drinks, and sweet treats. I didn't try any, but they looked very delicious. The young man behind the counter was so kind. Everyone who worked in there seem to have a kind of light about them!! Would definitely recommend Hope House coffee to everyone near the forest city area!"
"Awesome buttermilk bars and old fashioned donuts! Tasty and delicious without being greasy."
"Congratulations to Nick and Ashley on your permanent location in Fort Mill!Until January operating as a food truck.Located at the intersection of Tom Hall & Banks Road. They select and roast their own beans and have quite a selection. They also serve baked goods and pastries which are home made and hand selected. They have a nice selection of teas as well. They have designed a very comfortable space with small & large tables as well as a circular sofa sitting area. There is also a designated playroom for the youngsters.Small but free private parking."
"Aesthetic: Upbeat, bright brewery in the heart of Southend with a wide variety of beers on draft. My Favorites: It's not technically local, but I loved the Bludacris cider since it's gf friendly. Experience: We were waiting for a dinner reservation, and we decided to wait and have a drink at Wooden Robot. I've recently transitioned to gluten free, so the Bludacris cider was one of the only options I could have. It was delicious and not too sweet for a cider. The atmosphere was lively and bright, and we enjoyed our short hang out here. We will definitely try it again, when in Southend."
"Their chicken caesar wrap is really really good! I'd come back again for it- that was the only thing I tried."
"Really good place ... great food excellent service ... Very clean draws a nice crowd.Had not realized it is also Cowasake ...$$$."
"Super good!!! I have been here numerous times and every time it has been delicious. The service is great and they are super friendly. A great place to sit and do some work and have a nice tea or coffee! I definitely recommend the cinnamon bun!!!"
"What an amazing family friendly music venue! Bluegrass, singer songwriter and jam sessions.Great sound. If you like live music you need to check this place out."
"Food is always good. Coffee even better and stellar service. Would definitely recommend for a quick breakfast or afternoon pick me up."
"I was looking for a smoothie place close by my job & came across this cute spot . I have been here multiple times in the past two months. Friendly & quick service every-time. I have tried just about every smoothie they have with the exception of the fruit explosion & the ginger mango. The strawberry banana is my favorite! I tried the bacon, egg & cheddar breakfast sandwich this morning & it was delicious! Will be back of course :)"

This has become my husband's favorite go-to donut shop. I finally tried with a friend, and we loved the variety of donuts, choose-your-filling options and the variety of other pastries. I tried the bearclaw and it was one of the best I have ever tasted. Flaky, sweet, with shaved almonds. The cooler offers a variety of drinks. The counter staff are very nice, friendly and will take the time to chat with you. Conveniently located on a main thoroughfare in Salisbury, its located near other restaurants and stores.

What a gem in Fort Mill SC! Wherever I travel in the US, I visit locally owned coffee roaster shops. This is by far THE top one! What I love: Ambiance, quality, taste & art of my flavored latte, classic white ceramics coffee cups, a few homemade syrups. Comfort & variety of seating, they frequently roast their own beans. Knowing how to explain blends, & delicious home made cookie! Location, space ideal. Owner Nick easy to talk to! I really hope they continue to succeed for a long time to come! Support small business.

Charlotte is a brewery destination. It seems like there's one on every corner. I visited more than a handful of different places during our visit to Charlotte, and Wooden Robot was a winner. For starters, the staff here was amazing. We sat at the bar, and there was a great rotation of bartenders who were super friendly and attentive. It seems like the ones I talked to were longtime employees, which I feel like says a lot about a place. Additionally, one of the bartenders even gave us recommendations on which other breweries we should prioritize - and we valued that opinion a lot! The space is huge - bar seats, high-tops, and a sprawling outdoor space make for a fun hang. To my surprise, they also have a bustling coffee shop attached. There's nothing I love more than beer and cold brew: an essential to my food pyramid. For beers, there were many enticing options. We had a Botbier (foeder-aged farmhouse ale), Good Morning Vietnam (coffee vanilla blonde ale), QC Gold (golden lager), Strawberry Swirl It (fruited sour), and Riwak n' Roll (New Zealand-style pilsner). The Strawberry was a dark horse - it was recommended by the bartender, so we sampled a 5 oz. It was TASTY! I'm picky about strawberry beers, but this one was just the right amount of sweet + tart without tasting artificial. I also deeply enjoyed the Good Morning Vietnam - I love a good coffee beer! Everything we had, I would drink again. There are TVs playing local sports, and there are some funny art and photo ops, if those are your thing. Wooden Robot is a must-stop amongst Charlotte breweries.

I love Roots Cafe! It's such a vibe & I stumbled across it one day searching for coffee shops. I drive about 25 minutes just to get a bacon, egg & cheese croissant because it's so good. I've also tried their latte. There's indoor & outdoor seating. The dining area is so small but I never had issues with finding a table, regales of how crowded they seem. There's small and large tables with plugs for computers & phones. Love this place. Came here and was able to brainstorm on some projects & have a nice bite to eat on a few occasions.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Frothy Rooster in Hickory, North Carolina, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the inviting, rustic charm of the decor. The ambiance is warm and cozy, perfect for both a casual meal or a special night out.The menu is diverse and exciting, offering a mix of classic Southern comfort food with a modern twist. I started with the fried green tomatoes, which were perfectly crispy and paired with a tangy remoulade sauce. For my main course, I opted for the chicken and waffles. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and the waffles were light and fluffy, complemented by a drizzle of maple syrup that tied the dish together beautifully.

"This is a popular donut shop in a shared shopping area. There is plenty of parking they have indoor and outdoor seating arrangement for you to enjoy the treats. I quite enjoyed the glaze doughnut found my cinnamon roll doughnut to taste like an apple fritter that was very unpleasant and I was not expecting that. The staff appeared friendly. The establishment was clean. I hope that you enjoy your experience."
"Delicious small business that is always busy. From the breakfast to the hotdogs and even the coffee you will not be disappointed. And did I mention the desserts.... delicious, especially that banana pudding. The staff are friendly and so kind. Definitely a gem in the small town of York!"
"Good Cup is now operating inside The Loyalist Market, serving up incredible coffee with unique flavors that are perfect for the season. They also have baked goods from a local bakery and post about it on their facebook page regularly so you can keep up to date with what they have. Not only is the coffee delicious but it's served with a warm welcome from Josh and Debbie that really makes you feel at home. I love that they are in the Loyalist market - it's the perfect atmosphere to get some work done."
"The best place in the Albemarle area for breakfast or just coffee if you're not hungry. The only place in town serving real grits, not quick cook or instant, real grits, the kind you have to wait for because you can't rush a real grit. We've been several times for breakfast and had the grit bowl (country ham and eggs in mine), Becca crepe. Delicious. Chicken panini is wonderful too. The coffee and specialty drinks are wonderful and the baked goods at the counter. The inside is adorable and the resell local crafters and artists work."
"I love coming here to grab an iced latte. The line can definitely get long on the weekends but they keep it moving. Make sure to look at their seasonal drinks- their gingerbread maple bourbon latte is my favorite drink EVER!*note: they do not allow dogs inside of the coffee shop so make sure you have a companion to stay with your furry friend outside!"
"Very good local bakery with several things to try. Their main focus is their coffees. We tried a couple pastries which were very good, but a little pricey. Nice for an occasional treat."
"Yay!!! I'm super excited we have a neighborhood bubble tea place now in the gas house, something to satisfy my cravings. First, I got to say the truck is super cute and definitely displays an array of what's to come. The owners were really nice and walked through ordering our delicious bubble teas. They have a lot of different options, from milk tea to fruit tea and so much more. So stop by and get you some bubble tea from the small business."
"CALLING ALL JAZZ LOVERS!! Charlotte has welcomed this amazing new cocktail jazz lounge and let me tell you, it's a whole vibe! Best of all....NO cover charge! the service was great, drinks tasty and music amazing! They open at 5 for the 21+ crowd for cocktails, and live band starts at 8. They will eventually have coffee shop items during the day. I highly recommend getting there early to find a seat because the place is small and intimate. There is free parking but the lot and streets can fill up quick. I'm so glad Charlotte now has a chill lounge to relax in without being limited to a ticketed show that only last for abt an hr and half like other jazz venues."
"This is such a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!! Amazing coffee, wonderful service and several gluten and dairy free gelato and pastry offerings!!!!!"
"Excellent vape shop with coffees as well. Very knowledgeable staff helped my wife with her selections. Here in NC on vacation from Florida, it was great to find a good shop that had everything she needed. 10/10 would recommend this store and the Chocolate Cake CBD. Thank you!"
"AWESOME! The coffee is good & the breve is better . OMG! I was not expecting the breve to be soooo delicious. Hats off the older lady who made my Breve is Sunday morning. Also grab a Strawberry Lemonade Probiotic water! Good good! I will return when I visit again."
"Coordinates coffee was organized to come to our neighborhood (just message them on IG to set it up)! The came Saturday from 8am-12pm and setup the cutest little truck! You place your order from the Cloosiv app and they message you when it's ready. My husband got thee caramel ice latte and I got the vanilla bean lavender ice latte. Both were delicious, but we agreed the lavender took the cake. It was a unique flavor but not too overpowering. The lattes were served with whole, almond or oat milk. We choose the whole milk which made for a nice and creamy texture. The two owners were delightful and our orders were made promptly. The 12oz lattes will cost you $5.50, but they also offer a 24oz latte in a plastic "juice box" bag for $9.75. Right now the 24oz comes in a "black lives matter" bag. Great to support local, and a company that believes in what's right in this world."
"We quickly looked up a coffee place near by and we found this place and I have no regrets... best coffee ever honestly. Great service and a delicious taste to every thing ."
"I have been wanting to try this place for a while and I am glad that I finally had the chance to. The inside is brightly lit and well put together visually. There were lots of great menu items to choose from that all sound tasty. I went for the grilled chicken sandwich and it tasted great! I sat by the fireplace outside and enjoyed my meal and atmosphere. Employees were nice and hardworking to keep tables clean and customers happy. The only thing I wish was better was the layout and comfort of their tables and chairs. Most are hard metal chairs and for my old back I just wasn't as comfortable as I could be. I will definitely go back to try more menu items!"
"I really want to like this place, but there's no reason getting coffee should take 30 minutes in the drive-through. Corporate should seriously assess the operations, half the time you get to the window and they have your order wrong. Then they deliver your drink after waiting 30 minutes and it's a mess. Might be the last time I go here."
"Calories don't count over at Jelly Donuts, the donuts are just that good! A cute cozy space with cute donut themed decor and the aroma of fresh baked goods. There were a variety of flavors to chose from, decisions-decisions. The staff were very help answering any questions. All the donuts we bought were delicious, nice and fluffy in the inside. Can't forget they were reasonably priced for such great quality. This location is near my job, put the word out about the new donut shop in town."
"This place is adorable, bright and fun! I've been wanting to come here for a while so a meeting popped up and I suggested this spot. It's inside a building near uptown with an attached garage. Luckily they do validate parking for an hour or two, I can't recall the exact details. But the fact that they do validate was amazing. It's really so cute inside, you could work here all day and just enjoy the scenery. They have real plants and little cubbies you can relax in. The young lady behind the counter was super nice and helpful. I ordered a latte and since it was Halloween they had these themed cups that I just adored lol. I think they usually have pastries but they were out that day. That's really my only complaint cause I was hungry lol. Otherwise, this place is definitely a great coffee spot to check out!!!"
"These drinks have way way way too much ice. You can't even drink the boba at the bottom because it's FILLED with crushed ice. $21 for 3 small size drinks and majority ice lol"
"A real hidden gem in downtown Charlotte. Both a coffee bar and wine bar located on over 2 acres of urban garden. As you enter, you have no idea what is in the back. You order your coffee or wine ( We had beer..lol) and then you can stroll thru the gardens or just sit on one of the many sitting areas thru our the gardens. We went on a Sunday afternoon and waited about 15 minutes to order our drinks. There are no food options other than a few bags of snacks they sell along with bottles of wine.A real quant cafe/bar in Charlotte that is worth a visit."
"I have been ordering birthday cakes for the staff at my office, Michelle Allar Orthodontics, for a few months. The cakes have been beautiful, tasty, affordable, easy to order, and always ready on time. The staff is so friendly as well! As long as I am in charge of ordering the birthday cakes for my office I will use Cyntucci's!"
"Great service and boba tea options. Authentic food. Staff friendly. Clean establishment"
"The people here a super nice and everything is made in house. Large assortment of homemade sweets. Cookies, tiramisu, and cannolis. Saw some seasonal flavors too."
"This place is Charlotte's best kept secret. My husband and I walked over after noticing the sign and to our surprise they are OPEN! The lounge area is very cool and the service (by Aydin) is second to none. The choices are limitless, the creativity with the coffee craft is not just another smoke and mirrors gimmick, and the taste is BEYOND great! It's so hard to find a place with reasonable prices and the taste of coffee that hasn't been scorched. QCG is where you can go to find your zen. Thanks Aydin for your hospitality and high quality barista skills. This will be our new coffee go-to spot! And yeh, I'm bringing all my friends both Yelpers and Non-Yelpers alike! Side note, VERY clean space and easy parking!! THANK YOU ALL!"
