"Amazing coffee, great service. We asked for a long press (lungo) and despite not knowing what it was they served us one of the best we've had (after learning how to do it)"
"Menus are located in a stand by the door. Once you know your order, walk up to the counter. There is a pick up area to the right. I ordered a retro biscuit plate. It came with eggs (made to order), bacon, smashbrowns and biscuit with jelly or gravy. I ordered a maple mocha latte. The maple mocha latte was too sweet for me, but that's ok. I'm sure it is perfect for the right person. I will get plain coffee in my next visit. It didn't take long at all to receive my order. I thought the breakfast was good. The bacon was fresh, the eggs were good. The biscuit was fluffy. The smashbrowns were interesting and they had a really nice flavor and texture. Overall, I would visit this location again. The manager made sure things were flowing as they should. He came to my table to make sure everything was to my liking. I thought that was very nice of him. All of the workers provided great service."

"Sampled a variety of sweets and baked goods from Villani's twice in the past year or so. The croissants have been my favorite and they are huge!! The butter and almond are both yummy and very easy to heat up leftover at home in the oven wrapped in foil. Their sweets and macarons have been completely hit & miss but I wouldn't not give them another chance."
"Best Apple Fritters on earth. Doughnuts are very good. Service is good. Ambiance is simple."
"Located in downtown Concord, Havana Carolina is worth a drive to experience Cuban food. Cocktails are a highlight along with a menu that includes traditional Cuban fare. The menu is varied enough to please a variety of diners. The Cubano picadillo and tamal en hoja were tasty but the tamale was somewhat oily and the picadillo was sparse on olives & raisins. Service was friendly. Note - the restaurant is currently more difficult to find due to road construction."
"This place has a little bit of everything! From coffee to ice cream to local goods! I loved walking through the shop and seeing what all they had to offer. It's super cute inside and very welcoming. There's lots of space and table to work or meetup with friends. It was a real chill atmosphere that I like a lot.I purchased some local honey that we love. It was really nice to be able to buy it there. We usually buy our local honey from the farmers market but sometimes it's hard to drive down there so this was super convenient for us. We also ordered a few of their seasonal lattes, mine was just okay. I also tried a breakfast sandwich, that was just okay too. Not bad, but lacked some flavor. I think next trip I'll stick to the sweets and see how those are. They had a large selection of sweets and that is right up my alley. I'll definitely come back to check out more items and a differnt coffee. Great spot overall!!"
"Some of the best donuts in town. Have to always stop when I'm in the area. Customer service is great!"
"Nice environment and quiet. Good place for meeting or chatting. Staff and service was friendly. Coffee was just ok."
"The best coffee shop in Charlotte. Staff is over the top friendly and personable, the drinks (especially matcha) are so so flavorful. Small batch and local! The shop has tons of seating, and I love to come for board game nights, book clubs, and writing club! The only thing I would improve are the food options! There are restaurants and Harris teeter nearby, but I'd love to stay in house."
"Best donuts ever! My husband is picky with desserts and treats and he tried donuts he doesn't typically eat. We ordered to pick up through goodie bag, and the atmosphere is really relaxing. It's a nice coffee shop vibe and there's plenty of seating to get some work done. The woman behind the counter was really friendly and inviting when we walked in. We'll definitely be back."
"Best waffles I've had in a long time! It's a small place, but if you're in the area, it's worth trying at least once. I had the Cinnamon Roll Waffle (Belgian waffle topped with vanilla buttercream and brown sugar/cinnamon mix, $5.75), which is one of their specialty waffles. It was incredibly fluffy, moist, sweet, and full of deliciousness. It did feel like being served from a food truck when it arrived in a small paper container rather than a plate (and the prices resemble that of a food truck too). Don't expect the whole restaurant experience - you order at the front, seat yourself, your food is brought to your table, and then you clean after yourself. But don't judge it solely by its simplicity; the waffles are pretty good!"
"This was my first time back here in years. I thoroughly enjoyed it this visit. I came by with a friend to catch up over coffee, it was late in the day so I decided to get their decaf lavender latte. It was as beautiful as it was delicious. I also ordered a topo chico. We sat outside on this gorgeous day, until it got too chilly and we moved inside. Their inside area is super cute with funky seating and long couch type chairs. This was super fun and comfortable. It's shared sitting style so there were some folks sitting nearby that we didn't know and it was so intimate you couldn't even tell. There was a really great musician playing the guitar and singing live. They were doing an amazing job with various genres and music selections. It really helped to create a ice vibe. We stayed here for like 3 hours. It was a great time!"

Not Just Coffee is always a good choice! I got to try their matcha for the first time and it was pretty good. I did add oat milk and vanilla which was perfection. I love that the market validates parking in the attached garage, makes it so much easier to go and enjoy the businesses inside.I love that Not Just Coffee is inside the market, along with Resident Culture. So you can get a coffee and later on a beer lol. Great service, great spot inside the market!!

Please do yourself a breakfast favor and stop on in!!!! They are remarkable with their use of maple flavoring. I am a major maple lover, and love the use of it in drinks as well as the food. I seem to consistently order the squawking goat! Why? The goat cheese combined with the maple pepper jelly-on a fresh biscuit with "chick-fil-a" level chicken! What else is needed for a perfect breakfast?! Inside is adorable. The restaurant uses the farmhouse theme-which just takes the whole experience over the top for the Concord Mills area.

Yummy treats, including gluten free options. They offer coffee, macarons, cake slices and more! It's tiny inside with no seating inside so be prepared for grab and go. There is some seating outside and a good size parking lot too.

Absolutely knocks it out of the park when it comes to donuts. I like the feature of allowing customers to choose their own fillings. One suggestion, because I didn't see it there, would be to offer angel filling as an option. I'm not personally a fan of angel filling, but some people prefer it to Bavarian cream. It's a very clean establishment and the service was top notch. I'll definitely be back again soon.

Wow! I'm not surprised very often but this was a treat. I didn't take a shot of my meal because it was soooooo good. I got the Piccadillo Cubano and my date got the Ropa Vieja. Both were excellent! The plantains were carmelized and sweet! Drinks were great. I had a Cuban old fashioned. Atmosphere was the topper. They have a tv playing someone walking through the streets oh Havana. With the music playing, makes you think you are there.

I really enjoyed the ambiance, service , and coffee selections here . This is a perfect place to have a cup of coffee in a REAL cup and take in the day , chit chat with a friend or conduct business. Armani was our cashier and server and was extremely pleasant. I really liked the sofa area .

We ordered two Honey Glazed Donuts and one Doggie Donut for our pup. Service was immediate and the donuts were sweet, crispy, and had a denseness and color that reminded me a bit of cornbread...I loved it.The coffee however, wasn't anything to ride home about. But if you're looking for something fast in NoDa, it does the trick.

Early afternoon and my wife would like a coffee, so we wandered to the Central Coffee Company. I huge selection of caffeinated and non-caffeinated options plus pastries and bagels.I stood in the queue which moved quickly enough and ordered the latte. It was prepared and called out a few minutes later.Very firm foam as you can see in the picture. Delicious rich coffee, but perhaps too much (chicory?) for my taste.Comfy spot with lots of places to sit and power away with the laptop. And a nice urn of ice water ready to go.[Review 15391 overall, 893 of 2021, number 2941 in North Carolina.]

"First timer here and boy oh boy did I enjoy my donuts and hot chocolate! The shop was clean and staff greeted me as I walked in. They had a great selection of donuts available in which I bought the milk & cookies and honey butter cinnabun donuts. Both were delicious! My hot chocolate was definitely hot and chocolate-y lol. It was perfect being that it was snowing outside. This was my first time patronizing this business and I'm impressed. I will definitely go back for more!"
"Fun store and deli. Excellent fresh sandwiches made to order. Small cooler fridge with fresh salads from pesto pasta to curried chicken and tuna salad. Large selection of chips, fair trade chocolate, drinks, wine and beer. They also have soups. We had the #9 on sourdough with Thai chili chips and the pesto pasta."
"Their chicken caesar wrap is really really good! I'd come back again for it- that was the only thing I tried."
"Giddy Goat is just unmatched in terms of coffee spots around CLT. Their empanadas are so flavorful and the perfect morning bite- especially if you're on the go. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and doesn't have that cold sleek feeling you'll find in so many shops. It feels inviting and makes you want to spend time out on their patio out front. They host a run club, yoga, and dancing which really brings an added element of community. Their coffee is so fresh, with having the roasting machines right in the front of the shop. We buy their espresso beans for our machine at home and it's always so smooth and delicious. It can get crowded around 10am on weekends but still a ton of seating and the line isn't too long. Definitely worth the wait. This is always my go-to recommendation place when people are looking for coffee spots!"
"I've been waiting to try this place; honestly, it did not disappoint. Service was friendly and prompt, and the ambiance was super cute and bright. It would be a great place to work or study. I ordered the matcha soft serve in a cone, which was so good. It's not too sweet and comparable to my matcha soft serve in Little Tokyo in LA. I am so glad I finally made it, and I look forward to returning. If you're a matcha fiend like me, this is your spot."
"Sumaq is a little gem in an unexpected area of south Blvd. South American style food and desserts and an array of amazing coffee and tea drinks. Loved the outdoor patio with great chairs and heaters and spaces to sit and enjoy the food and chat. They also have ample parking which was nice . Inside is equally nice with the significant tree in the center. There is a meaning behind this I'm sure as I've seen it at other South American coffee shops too. Great open space with people WFH and others just enjoying their coffee . The service was standard and quick . All the sandwiches and wraps are made to order. We tried the wallpa quad, which is chicken, egg, lettuce, tomato and special house mayo . Wrapped in a thin wrap. Very tasty and filling! Loved the combination and the spices from the sauce. Also tried the cappuccino which was a lovely cup of strong coffee and pretty . We also had a mocha chino which was nice and creamy and nice cocoa flavor. Our sweet treats were the lemon tart which came on this fabulous crumbly shortbread with lovely lemon curd type cream on top with some whipped cream . This was just delicious and not over sweet. The Alfajores was also amazing. Shortbread that just melts in your mouth with a nice layer of dulce de leche in the middle and powdered sugar on top. Yum. The savory and the sweet were all really good and you can tell made in house. All their other sweet baked good looked awesome. So I definitely wanna go back to try that tres leche! Loved this lovely well run place. You can never love too many coffee shops !"
"Best chai in Charlotte! Always delicious. Amazing customer service and nice place to work."
"Yum! This is a busy breakfast spot in the aboredum Shopping center. There is plenty of parking. It's small on the inside. The seating is close together the food is good. The decor is a classic cafe style. The staff are friendly and they typically have a wait as they are popular. It doesn't take long to get your food. When I have gone here everything I have tried has been good. You pay at the front. Hope you enjoy as much as I have."
"OMG!!!Kudos to Maddy. She was manning the store, solo, during trop storm Helene. She was open and ready to help customers, while rearranging inventory to keep them from the flooding water that was inundating the barista booth. She was smiling and gracious as always and told other employees to stay home and be safe since she was there anyway. What a great employee and face of the organization. Give that girl a raise!!!!!"
"Delicious coffee and pastries! Got a whole box of goodies for my customers that are in the area (and a coffee and piece of red velvet cake for myself). They has so many options! Everything looked amazing. The cookies are huge! Kind of wish I had gotten a cookie. The cake was good and there is a LOT of icing-- so if that's your thing --this is your place! Will definitely be back even if it's just for a donut and coffee!"
"I had this nice coffee shop bookmarked and decided to check it out on a rainy day. They a a BIG latte and that was a winner for me, their food options were good as well, limited, but good. I had the breakfast sandwich with bacon, cheese and egg on a sourdough bread and it was just a good addition to my latte. They also have a sister store, you can access from inside for smoothies and juices. I'll come back for that next time as I do love this neighborhood. The shop wasn't packed as they have a good sitting area both inside and outside, but their crowd seemed to come in and enjoy their drinks while walking. It's a nice spot to dog watch as most of their costumers had a dog and they were all sooo cute.I'll definitely will come back!"
"This is a good spot to grab a quick casual breakfast or lunch. I had the Cindy's Turkey sandwich. Sounds like blah but it's not at all. The mix of flavors and textures was really good- try the bollilo bread that they make in- house. Also the staff was super friendly- the type who remember you and what you usually order. This was my first time here. I'd definitely go back."
"Milkbread has croissants and bagels now?! That was news to me so I had to go try them. My partner had the ham and cheese croissant. The filling is baked in as opposed to layered on like a sandwich. He liked it but said he would prefer a little more flavor from the mustard. On the other hand, I thought the turkey sandwich on everything bagel was tasty but had too much mustard. It's the kind that goes straight to your nose. The bagel itself was quite good and the rest of the toppings complemented each other nicely - turkey, avocado, pepper jack cheese. The matcha was prepared well - earthy with a slight sweetness. However, the cup was only half full so I felt like I only got 50% of my money's worth. Ordered pickup through the app which was easy and ready on time. Took the food to go but noticed that they did have heaters setup for the outdoor seating area."
"Great service and really sweet staff. I am looking forward to making this a place to come to often in Charlotte. Very thankful!!"
"The staff was friendly and the chicken sandwich, buffalo chicken wraps and fries were delicious! It was our first time at milkbread after hearing so many wonderful things. It lived up to the hype!"
"I've been a fan of this company for over 15 years. We began patronizing the Common Market in the Southend of Charlotte which had a wonderful shaded alley lined with chairs, plantings, and unique people. Sipping wine on a sunny afternoon and enjoying a sandwich was a simple pleasure that reminded us of Ronda, Mykonos, Rome or somewhere way cooler than anywhere called home. So, I was excited to learn that East Frank's is the same owner and has modeled this location after the others (NoDa, Oakwold, etc.). Same great food, quirky way to order (yet it works), vino, beer, hot sauces, and unique gifts with enough social spice to get the ladies from the prayer group all in a tizzy.Often, I will drop in on a lazy Sunday morning and order a breakfast sammie to go. I've tasted almost all of them and heartily recommend trying one, too. Grab a seat at the counter, order a cappuccino, and while the day away.As one of Monroe's unique go-to places for an experience outside the ordinary, my "Give 'em a whirl" meter is huffing and puffing, "Yes, yes, yes"! Go here."
"What an amazing restaurant! We got in around 1:15pm knowing with a group of 6 we were pushing it. At no point did we feel unwelcome or rushed. Deborah was an absolutely amazing server and such a sweet lady. The food was phenomenal, we were recommended the lemon crepes for the table and they were by far the highlight of my morning. We are in town for a few more days and I fully intend on coming back to the hen and egg before we leave."
"Food is always good. Coffee even better and stellar service. Would definitely recommend for a quick breakfast or afternoon pick me up."
"The homemade sour dough grilled cheese was . The tomato soup was warm and saucy. My gf loves the pumpkin pie french toast. Im bit a big pumpkin guy but I took a bite and it was great (get the syrup) The vibes here were great, it was a nice warm day in Feb and there were a lot of people but it was not too busy. Our waitress was amazing and some other staff members helped out as well who were equally as nice and cheerful. Only issue was finding parking but theres a garage attached to the place and it has "free" parking as long as you remember to ask them validate when you leave which is great. We will certainly be back"
"I've been a customer of the Palms Cafe since it opened, and have always loved whatever I ordered. The everyday special is fantastic to pickup for lunch during the work week, but the reuben is one of my favorite comfort foods. The omelettes, waffles, and hash browns are also amazing! The staff is always friendly, and the kitchen is quick to get orders out. Locals already know this is the restaurant to go to, but I highly recommend it to visitors!"
"Awesome buttermilk bars and old fashioned donuts! Tasty and delicious without being greasy."
"I was really skeptical about this place but it turned out to be better than expected. Food and drinks were delicious and staff is friendly and welcoming. I would really recommend this place to try out if you haven't."
"The food was five star. The owner and chef greeted us and spent a few minutes to get to know us. He gave us a sample of his BBQ sauce after finding out my wife was from Texas. The complex sweet full flavor followed by a soft heat met my wife's approval. They use quality ingredients. I had the Reuben, a special for the day. The corned beef was excellent, not stringy, a common problem if you don't know how to cut the meat. The cheese was melted on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside along with the perfectly toasted bread. My wife had a flatbread pizza with sliced apples, blue cheese and bacon bits. This was a delicious and sweet combination that was to die for. The blue cheese was soft and not to overpowering. Another sign of quality ingredients. My daughter had the salmon. She devoured the perfect portion that came with a remoulade sauce that my picky child loved. My only critique is on the asparagus that came with the salmon. It was a little wilted and the pepper seasoning can be a little strong for those that don't like a lot of pepper. As the name suggests, they have a large wine selection. We rarely drink, but the vibe I got just walking into the restaurant made me want to try a glass of a local North Carolina Childress blackberry sweet wine. It had a soft sweet flavor, perfect for someone who does drink wine frequently but looking to experience a local flavor. This is the well kept secret that is inviting and intimate, with a quiet and simple setting. Their prices are very reasonable. Honestly they should be charging more as I felt it was a steal to walk out easily under $90 for a family of four (two teen girls). Keep in mind that included one glass of wine that was priced under $10."
