"Family meal option 1 was the perfect amount for a family of 4. Chicken was flavorful, fries were wonderfully crispy, and the side of salad was a perfect blend full of color. The Mac and cheese was a bit too runny but otherwise had good flavor. Overall very happy with this choice and would come again"
"I'm actually really impressed with this place and their staff. I'm not sure what I was expecting when we showed up here but we were seated quickly and immediately received service. It's a kind of auto shop vibe and comfortable inside.Food was excellent. My husband ordered the buffalo belay and the chicken was super tender, super flavorful. I ordered the Health Nut with chicken and it was also flavorful. Maybe lacking a little citrus; it's a large helping of arugula. The kids got the Mac and cheese and loved it. It was like home style Mac and cheese, not the crap from the box the other places give. The hush puppies are absolutely the best we've ever had, hands down. Staff was all great and very personable."
"They have a large menu and I've never ordered anything that I didn't like. Concord needs more restaurants like Johnnys."
"We love it here. We stop by everytime we visit the Charlotte area. Their sweet tea and fried chicken is to die for. My husband loves the pulled pork"
"It was a nice experience. Food takes a while to come out but it was hot and fresh. The music was a bit loud so don't think you will be able to have much conversation. The sweet potato tots were amazing. The chicken was crisp and well seasoned. The mozzarella triangles were not great, could've used more cheese stuffing."
"Everything is awesome. I live the soup and the empanadas. They have great chicken and side dishes. Great prices and service"
"Stopped in at Pier 51 for some Friday night seafood. My family loves Pier 51, the food is so fresh and the service is great. There's usually no wait to be seated, unless you come on Saturday during dinner time or Sunday where family's and groups come after church and there's a discount if you bring the church bulletin and they give a daily 10% senior discount."
"This morning, my husband was singing the Johnny Cash song, Sunday Morning Coming Down. There's a line that talks about "the Sunday smell of someone fryin chicken". So naturally, I needed fried chicken, but I didn't want to do "the fryin". Through a search, he found Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q. The prices are so reasonable for the massive amount of food you get. The HUGE chicken tenders are juicy, they have great flavor and the breading is like Granny's without killing the roof of your mouth. The baked beans actually have a little pulled pork in them and the sauce was fantastic. The hush puppies were golden brown and crispy on the outside and tender and light on the inside. The white coleslaw was the perfect balance of vinegar and sweet, a little mayo, it had no onions or carrots (Yay!) and was fresh and crunchy. The BBQ was pulled and really flavorful, even without extra sauce. They allow you to choose your sides. We had enough leftover for my full dinner tonight and enough to share with our friend. He also loved it and plans to take his son this week. We also got banana pudding to go YUMMY. -You order at the counter but then they bring your food to the table and actually hand it out. They checked on us twice and will refill your drink. They even brought us To Go boxes and wrapped plasticware. -They have a Health score of 98 and they are earning that. The restaurant and bathrooms are VERY clean. -The women's bathroom has a light switch that says TURN ON IF BATHROOM NEEDS SERVICE. That is an ingenious and convenient way for them to monitor. -You know how the people running the cash registers, will stand with their back to the customer, while they stare through to the kitchen? That's pretty common to fast food places. This restaurant has a sign posted for the workers that says TURN AROUND. I love that!-Every person inside was friendly, helpful and efficient. We will definitely go back!"

I've had hello chicken about 3-4 times and I honestly always enjoy their food Everytime. Their food is always made fresh and their red pinto beans with the yellow rice is always so flavorful.

Lucky find on a road trip!LOVED the Flock Shop! The decor and vibe was right up our alley. Cool, retro, casual, like you'd wanna stay awhile. Plenty of parking, seating, and has a bar if you're wanting some beer and cocktails. Each employee we came in contact with was so dern friendly! But the food....wowzers. We shared the Southern Soul Eggrolls with the Cheerwine BBQ sauce. Packed with collards, Mac n cheese and chicken. Almost a meal in itself! We got the Chop Shop salad--nice portion, perfect amount of dressing, a light, flavorful vinaigrette. Also shared a 2 tender plate with 2 sides and 2 sauces. The Chicken was large, perfectly cooked but let me say, the Hot, was more like extra hot. lol The mustard sauce was grainy and delicious, the Alabama white sauce tangy, both seemed home made. The collards bordered on a little salty, but still very flavorful.Which brings me to the grits. Sent from heaven, and truly the BEST we have EVER had. Goat cheese? pecans? bacon? What is this magical combination and why hasn't anyone thought of it before? This is a place we hope to visit again. Go support this business!

Most of the food I've tried has been delicious, I don't recommend the fried chicken (all white) it's a little to big for my liking and isn't fully cooked/crispy enough for meChicken and dumplings taste like grandma made itService has always been good and staff is friendly Ambience gives family vibesOnly con I have is that the prices have changed but they haven't been updated on paper menu or website

I have to say that the Gentleman that assisted me in a previous order that had a missing item when arrived home was kind enough to refill my entire order at no charge after speaking with him on the phone.. The food is always delicious and the staff and management are kind and considerate always. I believe the gentleman's name was Giattia. Thank you Smithfield Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q!

This review is just based on today's service. Usually everything is pretty good but today was off. I ordered one of their $5 Long Islands and I didn't feel a thing after drinking it. I usually get the fish and fries and it's filling and worth the money but I saw a wrap on the menu and decided to try it. It's catfish on the menu but I switched the fish to whiting. The wrap was cool but not worth the money. I couldn't even taste the remoulade sauce and I had to order extra. The food was cool but I won't order the wrap again. The main thing that ticked me off is watching people come in after me and getting their food before me and they ordered fish also.

First of all the food was delicious. It was fresh, hot and served at the perfect temp.I ordered OFF menu! Yes, the owner/chef made a special chicken dish for me- smothered chicken tenders! These were no ordinary tenders, not some frozen product sold in bulk. No, these were hand cut, breaded, then fried and SMOTHERED with the best gravy, onion and mushroom combo!! I can't rave enough about how good it was. We were a party of 4 and everyone loved thier food! The staff was EXCEPTIONAL!! It's a very unassuming place, the building is older, but VERY CLEAN!! Iwould DEFINITELY reccomend eating here again and again, because this was my first visit, but it won't be my last!!

I'm a fan. This is a super consistent dining experience where you always know what you will be getting. I have never had any complaints. In fact the staff usually goes above and beyond and everything is delish. One of the only fast casual places I enjoy

"We finally tried this restaurant. While I was expecting a variety of pork selections, this restaurant offers bbq pork, fried chicken and shrimp selections. Hushpuppies are sweet with minimal seasoning. Pork is vinegar based. Coleslaw is roughly chopped slightly vinegary but nothing overpowering. Definitely will be back. I'm"
"Great oyster mushroom sandwich! The bread is so soft and the mushroom is crispy and seasoned well. I also like the side salad and house ranch. Only thing I have tried so far. Customer service is great they will text you and let you know when your order is ready."
"They need a new location but food and service great I love eating there I just never sit and eat I always get Togo"
"Bossy Beulah's newest location!I've been to their original and this one was just as good and just as cute. Everyone was so friendly and the food came out in reasonable timing. It is exclusively chicken but they have a couple different options. Their slaw is delicious and so are their fries. One order of fries is enough for multiple people- beware!!! It is a bit pricy for fast food, but it is really good. They also have a bar area with beers and TV's. We stayed for a WHILE just talking and never felt pressured to leave. Parking can be questionable but they do have several spots right in front of the restaurant reserved just for them."
"Yep... 5 stars because whenever I have a hankering for fried fish this is the only place I go to since Pier 16 closed down. The staff here are always friendly to me, the food is REALLY good. What's funny is I have not had their chicken yet!! What to try on your first visit: Salt & Pepper catfish mealFlounder mealBanana pudding(homemade) Now go eat!!"
"So glad we finally tried Chicken Bucket! The food was so good and the staff was super friendly. We got the fried chicken with sides. All very delicious. We used the drive thru and were served pretty quickly. Looking forward to coming by again!"
"Granted it's a hole in the wall. The atmosphere is not all that great. However the food was really good. No complaints here.I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with rice and an egg roll for about $6.25. The chicken was of excellent quality with beautiful solid white meat. The batter was perfect and it was deep fried to perfection. The rice was soft and moist. They had a 97% health rating and the place looks clean. They are obviously known for their take-out. We were the only ones eating there however there were numerous people coming in and out so you know their food is always fresh because they're constantly cooking. Which was a nice surprise seeing that we were there on a Sunday around 8 o'clock. Usually don't get much service on that day and time.It looks like they have a buffet that they probably run during the week at lunchtime. It was not open so I did not try that. Maybe on a future trip. I left there happy and full."
"Food here is really good and made to order! The wait on a Saturday was a little long, but they do allow call-in orders. They were cash only at my last visit! Will definitely be back!!"
"We always get our fried chicken fix at Smithfields.Since there is not one near our house, any time we travel and there is one near us, we always stop in.Friendly counter service. Chatted with the guy at the register to find out he was from Charlotte NC and was headed back this fall to go to school. Also found out both he and I both fish at Lake Norman.Wife and I get the same thing each time. Her 2 pc dark with baked beans and I the 2 pc white with brunswick stew.We both love the fried chicken here. Crispy, flavorful non greasy skin with moist tender chicken inside. The eastern NC vinegar dip on the table compliments both the chicken and the stew. The sweet tea was spot on, being just sweet enough with out being so sweet as to put you in a diabetic coma.We tried the banana pudding for dessert and this is the only time Smithfields has ever failed us. This was not even close to true southern banana pudding. Just banana flavored pudding with no bananas and very, very mushy vanilla wafers. Won't ever order that again. But as far as the fried chicken goes, like I said we always stop to eat anytime we see a Smithfields in our travels."
"Finally made it here. As a lover of Peruvian food I wanted to try this not so chain Peruvian restaurant out. Located where the former Moes was in the Pineville Matthews shopping center with Bonefish and Panera. The place looked pretty clean although after ordering my food I noticed the sanitation grade was a 91...yikes. Anyways I went ahead and ate there. So let me start by saying the menu is large, so many different items to chose from and not only Peruvian food. I saw some Colombian and Venezuelan items. With that being said I was very shocked at the lack of standard side items. Literally rice and white rice at that, pinto beans and like one other things. All other sides are considered premium sides and those premium sides would be basic sides at like hello chicken or viva chicken. I got the 1/4 chicken, white meat with reg side of white rice and premium side of plantains. For the dipping sauce I was limited to the yellow mild sauce or the spicy hot sauce. They were all out of the green mild sauce. Just for context I arrived at 11:40, they open at 11. Not sure how they ran out so fast but I would have loved to try it because the yellow sauce was just ok and the red was cold and just spicy no real flavor. Thankfully the chicken was flavorful and juicy, the white rice was white rice and the plantains were cooked beautifully. Also the cashier was great and provided excellent service. All in all, I would visit again but no rush to go back again. Viva Chicken still takes the lead for now for me. I would love them to mature their side menu, increase their sanitation grade and have the green sauce available."
"Great food, fast service. Employees are always polite. Easy to order over the phone, online or in person"
"Pizza is awesome!! I had a pepperoni y style . It was hot fresh and just perfect. I think the best pizza in statesville"
