"My apartment complex invited these guys over for a resident appreciation day and we were too busy to cook so we figured we'd give it a shot. Were not disappointed!We didn't do much menu exploration and kept it simple with the classic/traditional Greek pita. They put in hecka good, deliciously seasoned lamb, top with onions and tomatoes, and drizzle in tatziki sauce. Seriously one of the best gyros I've ever had. Maybe second only to getting one at the Greek festival in Charlotte.Service was friendly. They take cash or cards which is great and always kinda an unknown with food trucks. Prices are a little high but when I consider the flavor of this I'm alright with that. Can't wait to find y'all again!"

"I called Kendra on a Friday to cater a business luncheon for five on the following Monday. I gave her very little direction - that there were two vegetarians in the group, and that was it. She prepared a BEAUTIFUL meal of lemon pepper chicken (for the meat eaters) and veggie pasta salad for the vegetarians. The meal came in four courses: salad (she brought three dressings), entrée, dessert (cookies individually wrapped for each person), and fruit after our meal.She arrived 45 minutes before I did (I was flying in from Baltimore) to set up, and the table scape was beautiful. She brought her own linens, real ceramic dishes, glass glasses, etc. And on top of that, she served us throughout the meal. Basically, Kendra brought the four star dining experience of a restaurant to us (and on very short notice, I reiterate). She is capable of doing both small parties and larger functions such as weddings (up to 500 people). If you need catering in the Charlotte area, I highly highly highly recommend Kendra. You cannot go wrong."

"This is a pretty place to get hitched... They've redone the courtyard with a really nice stone layout... There is a literally a gravel pit in the back of the area for your smokers and a couple of wrought iron benches... The food was okay... It wasn't the worst I've had at a wedding, but it also wasn't the best... The fruit was fresh, the roast beef was flavorful and whatever sauce they had on the meatballs was pretty good... No one knows what it was, though... lol The ceremony and reception were both outside and it was a beautiful day, so that was great... They needed a little time to flip the space, so I figured they would have us go inside for the cocktail hour, but they kind of let us meander around the property... There's a really nice wrap around porch and all, it wasn't bad, but I kind of felt like I was in the way a bit since they had to set up around us... There's a nice mini field of lush grass directly across the street where you can go for pictures and it looked like they got some great shots, so I'm sure the bride and groom will be excited about those... The meh parts? Well, here they go... A couple of the beers we ordered were old... I'm talking 2010 and 2011 old... No one got sick or anything and once they were aware of the issue, they offered replacements with no questions asked... I thought they handled it well, but they should definitely check their inventory a little more thoroughly... And look, I know where I am... This is the South... And I'm sure this house was a plantation quite some time ago... But I still have to say, the pictures in the men's room were a definite topic of conversation what with the slaves, confederate flag and all... The rest of the décor was nice and I understand it's their property, so they can put up whatever they like... That was kind of a sad distraction from the rest of the happy day, though... Overall, it was a decent place... I'm not sure how much it runs for, but they have nice hardwood floors, the staff was very accommodating and the courtyard was picturesque... Just watch out for the parking lot, ladies... It is ALL gravel, so either walk in pairs or bring some flats... (Especially if you're a smoker...) Stilettos might not end well... lol"

Our server was quick to arrive at our table to check if wanted to place drink orders. They do not serve beer and wine, however, it is BYOB so we brought our own wine to enjoy with our meal. Our server then brought out wine glasses and bottled waters for us. The food was fabulous, fresh, and fast! We started with an order of the samosas which were nice and hot. Then for dinner we had the chicken korma with rice, garlic naan, roti, and a side of raita. All of which were delicious and so fresh. Overall, we had a great experience and will be coming back to dine here again very soon!"

Most recently they catered breakfast 2 days last week and lunch 3 days last week each for 20 people. each delivery was perfectly on time, and exactly what I ordered. They are always professional and the food is great. in the last week alone, I have eaten their fried chicken, beef brisket, pulled pork, sausage, egg and cheese croissant sandwiches, cookies, brownies and a variety of sides. Keep up the good work, we need more place like Waiter's Choice that understand how to manage good food and fantastic customer service at reasonable prices."

"I finally got the chance to try Ken Cooks today. From the moment I walked in, until I left, I was shown nothing but kindness and hospitality. I ordered the fried chicken, macaroni, and broccoli casserole. Each entree comes with either rice or mashed potatoes; I chose mashed potatoes. After about 10 minutes, my food was done. Ms. Ken let me know that there was a mixup and I was given rice on my plate instead of mashed potatoes but she gave me container of potatoes with the meal. When I opened the plate... wow! It was a work of art and smelled just as good. After sampling everything, I knew why so many people recommended this place. I really hated I had to go back to work because a meal of that caliber deserves a nap. Ms. Ken seemed like a sweet and genuine person and I wish her the absolute best. I'll definitely be coming back!"

It is a good choice to eat here.It's five dollars for a sweet egg roll and six bucks for a savory flavor. I enjoy the Uptown Chicken and always go for that. It's grilled chicken, onions peppers, provolone and mozzarella cheeses in a crunchy egg roll. There is consistency here and I appreciate that. You will wait about 13 minutes for your order, but it'll be worth the wait. For good reasons this has become a new fan favorite at the Laurel Park Friday Food truck event. For those of you who don't know what Babe Butcher is, they are a build, your own charcuterie and cheese place. They offer a variety of things such as mini boxes all the way up into a large boards wish you can customize anyway you like it. My office has catered boards from them twice already for two of our events and they have came out perfectly.They have really unique cheeses and super fresh charcuterie so this is always a great place for me to go and grab a snack or to even grab a little gift on my way to a house party. The only minor complaint that I have is just the prices... A regular box is about 25 bucks plus tip and tax, It's a little over 30 bucks. But it's worth it to me for a nice splurge every once in a while... otherwise im better off building my own box if i'm trying to be cheap.When: Saturday 11:50am, no waitOverall: 4.8/5Food: 4.9/5 - I am in love with their goat cheeses... the blueberry goat cheese on the honey goat cheese are my favorites. I also love all the accompaniments and the huge selection that they have. So many options to choose from! They also have high-quality cheeses and high-quality charcuterie. There is an option for everyone here. They also offer vegan cheeses and also gluten-free crackers too. I got a Regular box with honey, goat cheese, cheddar, pimento, cheese, dried apricots, pepperoncini, peppers, Montego, dusted chips, Marcona, almonds, jam, prosciutto.. the boxes came with crackers too. My only suggestion is to offer more options to select a meet. Instead of doing three cheeses and one meat for a regular box, maybe just say you can do four options of meats and/or cheeses... I personally would have preferred two meats and two cheeses for my box.Service: 4.8/5 - the staff is very kind and attentive and we're pretty quick to help me build my box. Suggestions: offer your own personal suggestions to anyone that hasn't been there before or offer suggestions on what might pair well together. Also, for those who can't see small text from far away to clearly, I would add small laminated, printed out menus for customers to grab and look at while they order their boxes. "I am occasionally tasked with event planning for work, and I recently needed three cakes for different events with very different budgets. I also work for a state agency, so I needed a place willing to work with the company's tax exempt status. After contacting several other bakeries for quotes, I landed on Honey Butter Bakery and I am so glad that I did. There is not a physical location for Honey Butter Bakery, instead the owner and chef, Brandi, delivers to you! The cost of delivery is included. Brandi was incredibly responsive via email, very flexible with delivery dates and times, and game to try to make every elaborate creation that I ordered. The pricing is very competitive, if not cheaper, than brick-and-mortar bakeries in the area. She uses PayPal for payments. For those with food allergies, she does make gluten-free cakes, but notable that she does not guarantee for cross-contamination. Each cake that I have ordered had a combination of buttercream icing with some fondant decorative pieces. Her cakes are a work of art! The flavors of cake that I've tried include Italian Cream, German Chocolate, and Strawberries and Cream. All have been super delicious with the right density, degree of moistness, and icing-to-cake ratio. I am definitely partial to the Strawberries and Cream cake because of the fresh chopped strawberries in between the layers of the cake. She also brought a free small tray sampler of her cheesecake bites with the last cake that I ordered. The flavors included the Cookies and Cream, Carrot, and Pumpkin. Cheesecake can be a finicky dessert to make, but once again, Brandi knocked those out of the park. Very delicious and so, stinkin' cute. I can't wait to order again for my next office party!"
