"Oh boy! The one good thing is the server was friendly!My husband is limited to time because of location for his lunch break. So his team and I went to a diner a few miles from the Plant.Yikes! The food did not look appetizing at all. I knew immediately and didn't order anything.My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and corn and green beans. Portion size extremely small.His partners ordered a Turkey sandwich, Specially Spaghetti and meatballs and not sure what the other two ordered since it all looked the same to me.They say home cooking with a touch of Dutch cooking. Never had Dutch food so not sure what the touch was. My husband said it was nothing to rave about. Spaghetti was not great. Turkey sandwich was fried on outside and our team member ate it all so I assume it was ok. My husband wanted a chocolate shake, shakes offered on the menu. Server said oh I'm not sure if we offer chocolate shakes, in the 3 years she has worked she never seen one made. I strongly advised my husband not to get one since that probably meant the ice cream could be pretty old as well.The unsweetened tea was so strong that the guys had to order a soda because it was upsetting their stomachs. It seems to be a local favorite, saw several people who look to come here often. Maybe if you don't eat out as much as we do this place would be just fine for you."

"This place is Charlotte's best kept secret. My husband and I walked over after noticing the sign and to our surprise they are OPEN! The lounge area is very cool and the service (by Aydin) is second to none. The choices are limitless, the creativity with the coffee craft is not just another smoke and mirrors gimmick, and the taste is BEYOND great! It's so hard to find a place with reasonable prices and the taste of coffee that hasn't been scorched. QCG is where you can go to find your zen. Thanks Aydin for your hospitality and high quality barista skills. This will be our new coffee go-to spot! And yeh, I'm bringing all my friends both Yelpers and Non-Yelpers alike! I knew we'd be seeing my son for graduation in the coming days and admittingly hoped I hadn't just made the best dinner plans without him in attendance, it was so tasty I began to feel bad being there without him. Luckily, we did share some other great places with him.I started with a chocolate orange old fashioned, creature of habit ;) It was great! My son teases me about how much I love dark liquor and it's true. This drink reminded me of something I'd had at Jameson, in Dublin so I had to try it.We shared the fried green tomatoes to start with, and they were fantastic. I love that they sandwiched pimento cheese in-between the stack of them. Two of my favorite items, in one dish.My bestie and I went halfsies on two entrees because we wanted to try the meatloaf but I also wanted catfish. Our two entrees were delish!!! We love meatloaf and make it often, but we always try to make it a little "healthier" and use turkey meat so having Mr. Friendly's was a REAL treat. My bff mentioned it really didn't need the sauce, which is true it's solid on it's own but I did like sauce. Their collards, grits and mashed potatoes are all very yummy too.I think my Mom had the oysters and my sons girlfriend had the grit cakes, but in all honesty I can't recall. We had just had wine and light bites before we came here, but my appetite is non stop unlike most normal peoples. My drink and two entrees were so delish, they were my sole focus but I think my Mom and my sons girlfriend enjoyed their choices as well.Service was great and very friendly too :) I would definitely recommend dining here. I'm so grateful we did."

"I'm always pleased when dining at First Watch. Each one has a different layout but they each give good food and good service. They're always busy but they always work hard. Glasses are always full because they bring you a bottle of water for the table. They offer flavored creamers for your coffee, not just milk. Each one has lots of windows to keep it bright and well lit. Some have bar space while others only have indoor seating. The decor is rustic and comfortable. When it's time to pay, you pay at the register not the server so you don't have to wait around. I enjoy eating here whether by myself or with friends."

"My experience was just okay. Intermezzo was on my list and driven by a lot, but I never stopped in. On a rainy Friday night, I decided to stop in. The hostess wasn't the friendliest but did give me an honest wait time. She sat me out on the patio, and it was a bit chilly even with the heaters, but I made do. The cocktail was my favorite part of the meal. I don't remember which one it was, but it was good. The server was nice enough but a bit slow coming and going, and could have been more attentive on a cold night. I ordered the piroska, which is essentially a stromboli with sour cream. While the sour cream gives it a nice twist, it's still nothing to write home about. While eating, I decided that I wouldn't order again and was underwhelmed by the experience.It was also overpriced given the mediocrity of the service and the food."

"Café Lentz is a European style café in downtown Mt. Pleasant, NC serving craft coffee, paninis, smoothies, and pastries, according to their Facebook page. All I know, is little Mt Pleasant has stepped up their game from a snoozy, nearly invisible hamlet to a stop worth making. Apparently, Café Lentz is associated with 73 & Main (across the street), and possibly the bakery next door (but it was closed when we visited). The offerings are typical of most large cities (hand crafted coffees, sandwiches, etc.) which may make some of the locals frustrated that a basic coffee and BEC biscuit is not available (the Hardee's is still up the road). I like that.As of this writing they have been open about six months. I think they still have some wrinkles that need ironing: the counter area is contentious with the sole bathroom, as well as the condiments counter and ordering station, all competing for the same space. Claustrophobic. The coffee was delicious, but I think the "small" size is one click above a communion cup serving--I'll call it petite. Step up to the larger sizes for a better value.My first visit to Mt Pleasant was 25 years ago and it was all one could do to find a pizza shop. Much has changed and is getting better. Some local hangouts remain (e.g. What-A-Burger #13--yeah!), but Café Lentz is a forward move that I say, "give 'em a whirl." Support the nouveau investors willing to spend some cash in their pockets."

"I've seen Romeo and Juliet Brazilian Cafe on the Goodiebag app several times. Then I saw a TikTok for them and I was intrigued. So the next time I saw them on Goodiebag I jumped. When I went to redeem my Goodiebag offer the guy working the counter was amazing. I got there very close to closing and he was so sweet. He went into the counter and filled our bag was savory treats. There was around 7/8 items in the bag. Everything he put in the bag was a surprise to us. We noticed a few of the names but they looked alike in the bag. Now we had 2 with hamburger meat/ground beef. They were our favorites. One had ham and cheese and one had corn and cheese. Both were delicious. Small round cheese breads were very chewy. Our least favorite was the hot dog but it wasn't terrible. We opted to get a sweet treat also and loved it also. It was a milk and coconut twisted bread. All in all I was super impressed with what we got and all the delicious flavors. Ambiance was cute, open, and airy. Service was very friendly. Only con of this place is that the coffee is on the pricier side. Plus, the oat milk substitute costs $1, which is on the steeper side too--add that up over 3 drinks, and it's not cheap ‍ Hence, docking 0.5 star."
