"Wanted something different for lunch and Banh Mi Brothers had a great solution to my craving. Ordered the Porchetta - Heo Quay at the counterand about 7-10 minutes later they brought the sander to my table. The bread can really hold up to the meat and sauce. The meat itself was flavorful. The kimchi provided a cool, crispy contrast to the meat and bread. Put it all together and there's a lot going on in this sandwich! There are several tables inside and even a few on the patio m. With the quick service this could easily be a go-to for a quicker, tasty lunch."
"I'm almost always craving Pho only this time I wasn't near my usual spot so I gave this place a try. I was pleasantly surprised, the food was great. Sometimes places can skimp on the seafood especially shrimp but I kept finding pieces when I thought I had eaten them all. The server was great, and patient with my son trying to order his specific order of nuggets with a side of ketchup . Their cocktails are pretty good too. I can't remember what I got because I asked the server for his recommendation but I know it was a margarita. There were other families there and I expected it to be loud and overwhelming but it wasn't at all. There's enough space between everyone that you don't feel on top of the other tables. I'll definitely go back if I'm in the area."
"First time- ambiance was nice- so many flavors choices - price is nice-popcorn chicken delicious- a must try."
"Soft serves were delicious and drinks were fun and delicious! Service was quick and it's always so fun to watch your drinks being made. I got the Tokyo drink which was super fun and pretty to look at. But also very refreshing and delicious! Cute, little place that is Instagram worthy. Great for quick grabs or little dates. Definitely recommend!"
"Great service and really sweet staff. I am looking forward to making this a place to come to often in Charlotte. Very thankful!!"
"This was my first boba tea, and I was excited. The place was immaculately kept. I noticed an impressive 97.0 sanitation score. The woman behind the counter was helpful and patient. Truthfully though, it was hard to understand everything she said due to her accent. After she carefully went over the different options I settled on a small pineapple/coconut boba. The tea was amazingly cold and delightfully refreshing. Not too sweet... A unique taste that I loved. I liked that each tea was made fresh to order, and the way they sealed the top of the cup so no spills! The wide straws were novel and just right for consuming this drink. The first few sips were great, until it just wasn't anymore. There were so, so many boba that it interfered with the enjoyment of the drink. At one point the boba seemed to be replicating itself. With each sip this experience morphed into a high-end drink nightmare! The boba tasted like chewy pebbles of goo that expanded in my stomach. It caused my stomach to ache. I began discarding the boba into a napkin until I finally gave up and tossed the entire drink out. I didn't even have 1/3 of it. I felt wasteful but really... No treat should be this much work! Five dollars directly in the trash. Will I ever drink boba again? There is a probability. Will I request less or NO boba? Certainly."
"We were in town for the weekend and saw that there was a pho restaurant just down the street from our hotel. The food and service were fantastic. The broth with the pho was top notch. Next time I am in town would definitely go back"
"Was not feeling well, so I asked hubby to pick up some beef pho. The packaging for carry out is impressive and perfect so that you can throw the fresh ingredients in when you get home. The flavor was very good.... but not as good as Lang Van. The strawberry boba milk tea was the best part of the meal. So much flavor ! I also got a chicken and rice dish. Wowza, this was unexpectedly spicy. I love spicy food, so not a problem for me. However, for other folks, be warned. The chicken was dark meat. Both items had large portions. The menu looks interesting and I'd love to return and try out more items. I will definately be back !"

Banh Mi brothers really blew me away with the flavors they packed into their meat and kimchi, had me wanting to take an order to go just so I can enjoy it again.Service was very good, quick and informative, they have their menu on the wall soon as you walk in and answered all my questions which made picking sandwich easier. The Thai tea was absolutely delicious as well

Best pho in NC. Problem is, they are tied with Thai House across the street. There you get coconut soup for two that tastes better than all of my rocket sauce. But I digress; Pho real and Thai house are just special for different reasons than their food. They are the backbone of my local value system; my religion. At these businesses you don't just eat well. They train the willing and able. And not how to pour a drink that costs $20 for them to gouge the market with booze. They train you to live a better life. One of the Tao. I love these people. But they may not love you if you order them around or don't tip well. Don't visit if you don't respect my friends. Do visit if you are respectful and hungry.

Their boba tea is very good. And I am a self proclaimes sweet tooth addict but the brown sugar milk tea was too sweet for me which is crazy to think. I still enjoyed it but could not finish the entire thing. Very cute inside, and would definitely go again but maybe with a little less sweetness.

The icrecream is amazing! I love it every time I get it. This is my second time being here and I have nothing bad to say about the icrecream, at all! Items ordered/purchased:2 orders of the Twist 1. The twist original2. The twist rolled in toasted coconutThe atmosphere was very "youth oriented" and "open". Everyone seemed to just come, have a good time. The restrooms were not very clean, which I understand with the access to the public but other than that, the ice cream tasted very well. I probably wouldn't sit and eat due to the cleanliness but this is one of those places, it's probably best to order and then head to your respective place. The customer service was really good though! They are super kind and nice people. They also allow you to sample the ice cream just to see if you would like it, before you order it, which is really nice! Overall, great place for ice cream, especially if you're looking for a lactose-free ice cream that still tastes amazing!

Nothing is overly sweet and they definitely do Japanese ice cream correctly. The inside is adorable and clean. One big down side of this place is the parking. It's located in Plaza Midwood so I usually have to walk a few blocks after searching for parking for at least 30 minutes. I guess it's a good way to burn off the calories you will be consuming. There is also a Vietnamese restaurant next door that this place share a wall (more like a window) with and we always creep on what the patrons at the restaurant are ordering. Overall, it's a great place to walk to and grab an ice cream or bubble tea.

I have been drinking boba tea for 20+ years since I grew up in China. I have lived in multiple US cities and had some mediocre or even terrible boba teas in cities with smaller east Asian populations. Charlotte was such a city until probably just a few years ago when a few legit boba tea franchises set up shops here. I am happy to report Quickly is one such legit place, judging by their taro tea alone. There are 2 self-ordering kiosks inside and I quickly got the hang of it but I imagine a boba novice might be overwhelmed by the options. Just remember a legit boba tea place let you choose ice level and sugar level. For me 50% sugar level is sweet enough. My friend decided to try taro milk tea for the first time and she liked it. There was only one lady behind the counter making teas. You can tell she is experienced and efficient since our teas came out quickly, unlike several other boba tea places I went to in the past year.

Actually found this place by accident and I'm so glad that I did. I remember a couple years ago seeing that it was a Boba place, but I never knew they had food. I was looking for pho in the area and decided to give them a try. When we came in, Crystal was so welcoming. She helped us with the menu and even suggested some things for us to try. I ended up ordering the chicken pho (pho ga) and my boyfriend got the weekend special (even though it was Monday) of seafood udon or banh canh. I also ordered a dragon parade fruit tea. For the three things our bill was $41.51. We decided to dine it. It's a nice space with plenty of seating and a cute grass wall backdrop. Our food didn't take long it was brought out to us on a tray. You could see the steam coming out of the pho. There was so much flavor to both dishes. I had the option to add stuff like Sriracha, hoisin, chili paste etc but didn't feel like i needed it. I did add some lime. My pho had plenty of noodles which is always something I find other places short you on. The fruit tea was absolutely delicious. I loved the taste and also enjoyed getting strawberries and other fruit through the straw with every sip. Crystal came to our table several times to check on us. She explained the business a little bit and said it was her idea to add food to the menu which I agreed was a good call because it's so good. Food and customer service were both a hit and I'll definitely be back again.

"When I went here it was good it's just they don't have lychee jelly but the after all the Boba was good it's just they didn't have lychee jelly, but the service was good and it smells good. I recommend you go here it's just I don't have lychee jelly."
"The location of the restaurant is in the perfect spot for those looking for Asian fusion in the Dilworth neighborhood. Parking is plenty as it shares a common parking lot with many other businesses. My friend and I went on a Saturday night around 7:00 and we waited for a table for maybe 10 minutes. We were greeted by our server within a few minutes of being seated. The inside of the restaurant is modern, simple, and well done. There is an open window where the dumplings are made. There is bar seating and also a tea/boba counter. Also, there is seating in the back of the restaurant as well. I started with an order of the bao buns, fries and a strawberry matcha. The bao buns were mediocre. They were lacking in the flavor department and if it weren't for the dipping sauce they would not have been enjoyable. The fries were crispy and the ketchup and mayo dip was so good. The matcha was the perfect mix of sweet and good flavored matcha. For my entree I order the pho nam. The broth was the best part- so flavorful. I did not care for the brisket as it was super fatty, which I know comes with the brisket territory, but it was basically all fatty meat, which I ended up not eating. Olive oil cake was good, but I would not order it again. I will say our server came around about every 3-5 minutes to ask how things were and if we needed anything, which was a bit much in my opinion. I also asked two different t people for napkins and never received them until our checks came. Overall, the food was good and I recently ordered pick up and this time for the pho with meatballs, which was much more enjoyable than the brisket."
"NEVER sleep on the strip malls.Literally some of the best bubble tea and boba found thus far!Monster boba was adorable, tasty and hits the right spot when the heat wave makes coffee taste like way too indulgent. The Hokkaido oolong boba was the perfect refreshing sip, that literally cools you a solid 20 degrees. The boba is perfectly sweet, well seasoned, with the right amount of chew. The girls there are helpful, quick and well versed in all the tea flavor combs you could think off!Did I mention they have a selfie wall too... Best of all, the price- unlike some places (I know rent is expensive) that would charge 9-12 dollars one of these delicious drinks the prices and fair and just. You gotta love the fact that it is also next to a great nail salon and a bommbb pho spot :D"
"This is a legit great spot to grab a well crafted Coffee! Comfortable couches and chairs in a cool environment too where one can relax or get some work in.Definitely worth checking out!"
"Really good Thai food considering the location. Didn't think such a place would exist in China Grove. I ordered the Pad "See You" with tofu and it was one of the better ones I've had. Fresh food for a Tuesday night. A little on the pricey side, but I'll be ordering from here again."
"Great service and boba tea options. Authentic food. Staff friendly. Clean establishment"
"I got takeout from here. I did their tofu bahn mi & it had little to no flavor which was disappointing. It came with a lot of tofu which I appreciate but pointless when there isn't enough flavor. The bread was also not crisp/toasted so it became mushy."
"Yesterday's culinary exploration led me to BTJ Wings in Gastonia. Opting for the 2pc whiting and wings combo was a decision that unfolded a symphony of flavors on my palate. The whiting, deserving of an unequivocal five stars, showcased culinary prowess with a perfect fusion of seasoning and expert frying. A dish that resonates with aficionados of impeccably prepared, succulent fish.Delving into the wings, ordered with a mild flavor, proved to be a delectable experience in its own right. However, I dare say, a tad more crispiness would elevate them to unparalleled heights. As for the accompanying fries, they adhered to the archetype of standard restaurant fare, bereft of seasoning. A polite word of advice: summon the shakers of salt and pepper to awaken these unassuming spuds.Anticipation lingers in the air as my taste buds yearn to explore the depths of BTJ Wings' diverse menu. The culinary journey has just begun, and I eagerly await the next chapter of flavors that this establishment has to offer. #Gratuityadded #CulinaryCritique #TasteMastery #BTJ #DiningDiaries #FishFry #FoodieFinesse #SavorTheFlavors #EatsAndTreats #TastingNotes #CLTFoodie #SatisfyingCravings #FlavorfulFinds #704Eats#GastoniaEats #GastoniaFlavors #ExploreGastonia #GastoniaFoodScene #GastoniaFoodie #704Eats #GastoniaFoodFinds #GastoniaEateries #GastoniaFoodJourney #QCFinds #GastoniaFoodAdventures #GastoniaGastronomy"
"These drinks have way way way too much ice. You can't even drink the boba at the bottom because it's FILLED with crushed ice. $21 for 3 small size drinks and majority ice lol"
"We had the pleasure of visiting TeaPlus in Bridgemill. The whole team there was super nice! Not only did they make suggestions but they went out if their way to share samples and gave descriptions of all the fabulous deductibles' they had to embellish our drinks. I am a big fan of the Taro and tried something new. I tried the jelly add-ins. It was very good. So good, that we have been back in several times. I have now turned my brother on to Bubble tea. They have a huge selection. Try the slushies they are smooth and not as icy as you would imagine. Their teas are refreshing when it's hot but all around good for an everyday drink. Dave made us feel so at home and knows the products inside out and upside down. Go visit and see for yourself. You wont be dissapointed."
