Mark C. "Old Mecklenburg brewery is a great family and dog friendly place to try. They just celebrated their 15th anniversary which I attended and had a great time. They offered a limitedEdition anniversary stein (for purchase) which allows you to have $5.00 refills for the rest of 2024(not including fat boy beer). What a heck of a deal! They even pass out free samples of their new anniversary beer! They had free music (multiple artists throughout the day) and their food options typically satisfyMost individuals. There is plenty of seating on long table benches, the place is quick large and can accommodate lots of people without feeling over crowded. There is a section that caters more to families and you are able to bring pets. They have fire pits also should the weather require it and their washrooms are well kept. Definitely a go to place."

Heather K. "I love this place, it's a great spot to grab a couple drinks & light bites before a panthers or Charlotte fc game. The charcuterie board was the perfect snack and actually really filling. The draft cocktails are STUHHRRRONGG. And I'm not complaining lol I had the strawberry mint julep special and I was one & done! If you're around on Wednesdays, I'd recommend visiting for half off charcuterie boards. The restaurant attached, Lincoln Street, is a great spot, too, with an awesome rooftop. Highly recommend both spots for light bites and delicious drinks. Their bev director, Amanda, is top tier!"

Caroline K. "Love the vibes in here. Plenty of seating and TVs so it makes for a great group hangout place. Tons of drinks so everyone is sure to find something they like. 1st floor is local brews, 2nd floor is international brews. Be sure to scan the QR code if you're sitting at a table and you can use their filters to find a good drink to order by sorting the ABV percent, IBU, origin, etc.!Always a good crowd here with a packed roof top. So much fun"

Rachel M. "This was a fun casual spot to check out! We got burger and fries with pimento cheese which is my favorite! We had friendly and attentive waiters. This was a good spot and there were some locals hanging out at the bar. I was thinking it was in Pineville due to the name, but it was not actually in Pineville. They had a good location and were close to get to, but off on a side road making it easy for parking. A lot of tvs for games and plenty of good menu choices, I wish I had tried more things!"

Stef S. "Visiting for a week, and we found this place for lunch. We got in there, there wasn't a waitress, and the bartender was taking orders so we ended up sitting at the bar. The bartender we had was great! He was very knowledgeable about beer and the menu.I had the Bahn Mi sausage sandwich, and a side of onion rings. This really was one of my favorite meals that I ate when we were in South Carolina. The sausage was housemaid with wasabi and ginger, which complemented the pickled vegetables on top perfectly. The sausage was lean, and the flavor had just the right amount of spice. The onion rings were great, and came with Alabama white sauce, which I love. The bartender, let me try many different beers as I had never had most of them. I ended up with an IPA from Holy City that was very good. My wife had a fried chicken sandwich with pickles on a sesame bun. The chicken was battered perfectly, and it was very tender. The french fries were homemade and very good.We learned that they have a butcher on site and sell all their burgers and sausages to go. I recommended the butcher to our friend that lives in South Carolina because their selection was extensive and our food was really very good. I'd absolutely go back here is we are ever in the area."

J S. "This is fantastic place for food and fun. It's dog friendly and my dog met a new pal. I had a delicious pumpkin cider. Three of us split 4 items. Chicken skewers with large grilled chicken chunks and buffalo sauce, jalapeño flavored sauce and a bourbon maple sauce, all great. We then shared an order of corndog bites on a stick and the batter was something special maybe had some maple in there and some really good mustard to dip in. And then we got a huge pretzel with two sauces. And we tried some of the hummus, which was very good . wonderful staff multi use space and their prices are very reasonable."

Tyler D. "I've probably been to ~50 breweries in my life, and this ranks near the top. I've visited about a dozen times and each has been great. Staff are friendly (have never been able to confirm, but I have a hunch the owner frequently masquerades as a server), they offer a diverse set of good to great beers, and their rotating food trucks are choice. Self serve water station, patio + turf and doggie bag stations and more than enough parking in the area make it an easy choice anytime I want a beer. Glad it's local!"
