"This is my second time here and every time I come it blows my mind! The food is always seasoned and served hot and fresh! The service is fast and efficient. The staff took very good care of us. It's a cute space downtown with ample parking."
"My wife and daughter selected Eddie's and so it's time for an update and upgrade. Not nearly as busy at 3pm on a weekday, we had very little wait. Food did not sit in the kitchen long before it was brought to us.Red bean nachos. Good but needed more cheese. Blackened salmon salad. Very good portion and presented nicely though it could use more dressing tossed through. And the corned beef reuben was assembled nicely with plenty of meat and cheese.I'm glad to return. This was a nice late lunch.[Review 342 of 2024 - 3593 in North Carolina - 21375 overall]"

"YUNTA is an absolute gem, offering a unique blend of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine that takes dining to another level. The food is incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the cocktails are equally impressive--beautifully crafted and delicious.Though it's a smaller spot and can be challenging to snag a table without a reservation, especially for groups, sitting at the bar is the way to go. The vibe is fun, casual, and perfect for soaking in the experience. This is one of those places you'll keep coming back to. If it were closer, I'd probably be here all the time! I highly recommend it for an unforgettable dining experience. Yucca tostones and ceviche are always great, & don't skip the sushi!"
"It was good. I had the cucumber margarita at the $7 happy hour price. I would have had another one if my server came back around. Then I had the tequila braised beef enchiladas. When delivered it looked like it had been sitting under the heat lamp, but it was good too. Unless you like "bowls", there isn't a lot to consider on the menu."
"We had an amazing meal at Chillfire. The service was great from the moment we entered until we left. Especially our waiter. The food came out fast and was delicious. The restaurant was beautiful. Restrooms were clean. Everything was perfect. I was afraid there would be a long wait given it was a weekend evening, but the restaurant is much bigger than it looks from the outside. There were plenty of available tables and staff, even at 6 pm on a Saturday. We had the poutine appetizer which was very good. It was piled high with toppings and piping hot. I was a bit surprised that the fries seemed more like McDonald's fries than the ones cut in house but they were cooked nice and crispy and worked well with the gravy. For entrees I ordered the Oak Island, which was a 6 oz filet with scallops and side of creamed spinach. My husband ordered the prime rib that was one of the specials that day. He was going to order the queen cut but the waiter said it was only $4 difference for the king, so why not go big. He chose the potato hash as his side. Everything was delicious! The scallops were cooked perfectly, as was the filet. It had a perfect sear while still being a perfect medium through the center. The bacon vinaigrette was a perfect sauce, sweeter than I expected from a vinaigrette which I thought complimented the scallops well. The prime rib was a huge cut and cooked to be a perfect rare. I'm not usually one to order rare myself but being prime rib, it seems to be the way to go. I tried a few bites and it was very tasty. Especially with the au jus to dip it in. The potato hash was a great choice for fhe. The sauce was so creamy and the portion was huge. We both left miserably full but enjoyed every minute of it. I'm already planning my return trip!"
"My husband and I had such a great first visit at Calle Sol! There have been many restaurants in this location (The Penguin, NC Red, and a few others), and we are hoping Calle Sol is here to stay.We started with beverages--a club soda with lime for me, and a No Name Mojito with passion fruit for my husband. The mojito was nicely balanced and not too sweet. We tried their Yuquitas de Queso as an appetizer. The yucca was very crispy, and the cheese inside with nicely melted. The green sauce they served it with was exceptionally good, and we used it with our entrees, too. For our entrees, I had the Vaca Frita, and my husband had the Lechon Asado. Both meats were tender, flavorful, and NOT overly salty (yay!). The rice and beans were perfect sides. Their portions are generous, and we were both able to take some of our meals home. Our server was very friendly and helpful. It got very busy when we were there, so another server jumped in to help remove our plates and bring our check. I like how they work to help each other out when busy!A note about parking--there are only a few spots directly in front of the restaurant, so you'll be lucky to get one of them. There's a public parking lot just down the street on Thomas (across from Dish), and street parking throughout Plaza Midwood. We ended up parking on the street near Supperland, a quick walk to Calle Sol. Just give yourself extra time to find a parking spot if you arrive during busier dining hours. We'll definitely be back!"
"I ordered uber eats from here tonight for the first time. I ordered "normal spicy " but extra sauce on the side to control my own spice because I've never ate there so I wasn't confident in their spicy levels. However, they didn't send the sauce and the pad Thai had little flavor with NO spice at all! I'm so upset. They do give you a good portion of food though and that is the only reason I didn't give a one star"
"Let's get this out the way. $5 bottomless sangria. Now, before you get too excited, they aren't super strong (expected), but they are delicious. Now, the food to fuel your Sunday Funday.Fish tacos: 5/5Yes, yes, and yes. The reviews led me to the fish tacos and they did not disappoint. The tacos are full of tempura-flashed fish with veggies. I left satisfied.I was told that the steak and eggs were good. The place was pretty empty around 1:30pm. Definitely worth a visit!"
"We tried Napa on Providence for the first time and for the first night of Queens Feast. We went with the choices on the set menu. Great casual atmosphere, very warm & welcoming. Our server did an excellent job and took care of us. We will come again for their normal menu."
"My friends took my wife and me to this must-go BBQ joint in downtown Winston-Salem. First of all, there is an arcade and some tables even have Nintendo games to play! That's awesome! My wife and I shared the 3 meat tray. Everything was phenomenal and we had enough for a 2nd meal. The ribs were my favorite as they fell off the bone and they had a sweet tangy red sauce. The pulled pork was next as it was what you would expect from North Carolina BBQ! I loved the vinegary sauce! The brisket was really good too as it had the same sauce as the ribs. For our sides, I loved the BBQ slaw. I never had a slaw like it and could not get enough of its BBQ vinegar base. The sweet potato casserole was phenomenal and made me feel like it was the holidays. We also got the 3 cheese mac and it was homemade casserole style. Slaw comes with the platter but I would have a hard time choosing between the sweet potato casserole and Mac and cheese.Sweet tea was extremely sweet but refreshing for this Bama Boy!Camel City is a must-go BBQ destination."
"This is the OG location as the server put it and I've passed it so many times but never visited. This spot is very quaint and intimate and romantic. It can be a girls night out or a hot date and night cap. Ordered the olives and chips and everything is shareable over either wine or cocktails. They have been around a long time so the ambiance and service reflects that. We were immediately greeted and did not need reservations this particular evening so we were seated immediately. Spacious so you're not in your neighbors convo. Will return for sure."
"We stopped by Jekyll and Hyde for a beer & appetizer one Saturday afternoon. It is a little outside the Matthews main drag and down the hill but worth the extra short walk! I really liked it here! They have a large beer selection with several taps featuring local beer. We ordered a chicken bacon ranch flatbread and it was really good! The toppings were piled high and drizzled with ranch as well as hot sauce. We really liked the flavors here. It was a tad difficult to eat with your hands, and I ended up taking a fork to it. I want to go back and try more things, will report back."

Stop it! How has this place stayed amazing for decades?!? It's as good as we remembered from our younger years - though very little has changed in terms of decor and "divey" vibe, the service, consistency and quality of what comes out is why this place has a never ending line. If you question it, YES this is one of charlottes best breakfast joints around. We wish we were early enough to be opening regulars - as we'd be there every single weekend if we could make it happen. Buy we tend to wait too long and get forced into a wait - (ugh, hangry is never good). The shredded hashbrowns are the crunchiest around and omelets are made with TLC - (not just slapped on the grill and tossed around into an unrecognizable mound). We love you Eddie's and will fight to keep you a Charlotte staple.

I had the pleasure of checking this spot out over the weekend. My sister and I were in the area and both of us were starving. After browsing a little on Yelp we landed on Yunta( means Friend) . My sister told me she had been a few times and the food was amazing! We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. However , the staff did step away to seat other patrons. While she was gone another staff approached us to ask if we had been helped! This first impression of recommendable service was impressive! The original staff returned to the host stand. After confirming we did not have reservations she advised we could sit at the bar or there was one table available but it was directly across from the restroom. She said she wanted to be completely honest and transparent about the table. We took the table next to the restrooms (it really was not a bad table). Our wait staff came to the table shortly after we were seated. He asked us about our water choice and also dropped off the complimentary fried corn ( somewhat addictive). My sister and I both opted for mocktails. I ordered the Dirty Chai Martino. Admittedly, it lacked flavor. I took one sip and realized it was not for me. The wait staff was kind enough to ask if I wanted to try something else. What he suggested was amazing, but I don't recall the name of the drinks it had a hint of smokiness to it. To start, I ordered the sesame salad and my sister opted for the edamame. My salad was a win! It was basic ingredients but put together created something special! I honestly could have made a meal out of the salad with a side of salmon! For an entree I had the Peruvian Seafood Risotto and my sister ordered the Ramen Chicken Soup. The risotto was flavorful and had a decent amount of protein in it. I did not try my sister's ramen, but she said it was good. I do want to mention again that the service at this restaurant is giving Michelin star quality! It is clear that the staff works together as a team to ensure that the guests needs are always met. Last, but not least, the aesthetic of this restaurant is a vibe! From the vibrant wall paper contrasted against the stone wall and light wood table and chairs to the entrance with faux moss and gold letters! The design is nice! Overall- this spot is a win in my book!

My husband and I had Friday night plans that fell through, but when you have a babysitter (thanks, Gramps!) you make the most of it! I called to make a 7:30 reservation about 4:30 the same day. We would have been happy to sit at the bar, but when we got there, our table was already available, so we got a bottle of wine to split. The server told us about the off-menu appetizer special that we always get: delicious bang bang shrimp. It had been a while, and we were excited about the new menu options. My husband had The Rockefeller (6 oz filet with fried oysters and creamed spinach), and I had The Oak Island (6 oz filet with 3 scallops and mushrooms). I was a little surprised about the mushrooms because they were barely sautéed and a little garlic seemed to be the only seasoning. I would have loved them with the Pinot reduction on the scallops, or some balsamic vinegar. Regardless, we had a great meal, and decided to have dessert while we finished our wine. I couldn't pass up the coconut creme cake (good with strawberries added on top, but not necessary for those of us who love coconut cake). My husband got the bread pudding (a huge portion) and we took bread pudding home to thank the baby sitter. The atmosphere was great for date night: great service, and quiet enough to hear each other.

This place is fire! It is hard to find good vaca frita where I am from. It was very flavorful and crispy. The salad was excellent as well. I also had to try some fried yucca since that's my favorite dish. It's a fun place too, we came during lunch and due to the lunch special seems to draw a decent size lunch crowd. We enjoyed the back room with all the string lights. One of Charlotte's true gems!

We visited Verde on a Saturday night. We heard about it via our Offline membership and then all the great Yelp reviews sealed the deal. We grabbed a couple friends and decided to take the one hour road trip to check it out. The night we went was downpouring so the drive was longer than an hour, but it turned out to be well worth it! The hostess was friendly from the moment we walked in the door. We requested a table in the back and she was happy to accommodate us. Thank so the miserable weather on a Saturday night, we had no wait despite our prime dinnertime arrival. Score! Our server was a lovely as could be and made a few menu suggestions that were spot-on! My husband ordered a traditional Mojito and it was the best we had outside of South Florida! Each couple ordered Empanadas for an appetizer. One chicken and one chorizo. I had the chorizo and it was excellent. The meat had a wonderful flavor and the empanada pastry was light and flaky. The green sauce that accompanied the empanadas was creamy and delicious with a nice little kick of spice. Two of us ordered Mar y Tierra and loved it! Everything was seasoned perfectly, the vegetables were cooked perfectly, and the arepa was the best I have ever had! My friend never had an arepa before and now she's hooked. Everything about the arepa from the taste to the texture was amazing! We especially loved the light caramelization on the outside. Oh man, it was good!! Another person in our party ordered Pibil and ate every bite. My husband had fajitas and asked for both the Tamarind chicken and Chimichurri steak, which they happily obliged. I had a taste of both the proteins and they were delicious! All around, it was a perfect dining experience! We will definitely go back to try their brunch w/bottomless sangria!

"Located in downtown Concord, Havana Carolina is worth a drive to experience Cuban food. Cocktails are a highlight along with a menu that includes traditional Cuban fare. The menu is varied enough to please a variety of diners. The Cubano picadillo and tamal en hoja were tasty but the tamale was somewhat oily and the picadillo was sparse on olives & raisins. Service was friendly. Note - the restaurant is currently more difficult to find due to road construction."
"The fried fish sandwich is spectacular, and I think they have the best mac & cheese that I have ever tasted!"
"My fiancé's grandpa is a regular patron at Red Rocks so anytime we are in town to visit we always make time to go to Red Rocks (they even have a burger named after him!) The servers are always so kind and friendly, and the ambiance is great for a family outing. We came in for brunch/lunch and we had a lovely time!"
"Good food and great service! They make you order all your food at the beginning and they course it out for you. We shared the salad (really good), the pepperoni and sausage pizza (good), and the scallops with crab cakes entree (good). I wish we had tried a pasta dish as well for the full experience. The restaurant is dark so makes for a nice date place. There's a small parking area in front of the restaurant and a larger parking area behind the restaurant (by RuRu)."
"I met up with my girlfriends at Bernardin's for a birthday celebration, and the ambiance set the tone perfectly--intimate, moody, with soft music playing in the background. We started with a trio of appetizers to share: Duck Confit Spring Rolls - Duck confit, mushrooms, foie gras, cabbage & plum sauce Fried Calamari - Served with a spicy aioli Fried Brussels Sprouts - Fried garlic & shallots, bacon, Manchego, bourbon soy sauceThe duck confit spring rolls were definitely the standout for me, with the fried calamari coming in a close second. Both were flavorful and perfectly cooked. For my entrée, I went with the Chicken Fettuccini Carbonara (grilled chicken breast, sun-dried tomatoes, prosciutto, green chickpeas, mushrooms, and parmesan). I was craving pasta, and our waitress assured us the portions were generous--and she wasn't wrong. It hit the spot, and I even had leftovers to take home!As for drinks, I tried two cocktails: French Soixante Quinze (French 75) - Hendrick's Gin, champagne, lemon juice, simple syrup. This was my favorite--well-balanced and refreshing. Suite 100 - Vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup, strawberry purée. It was decent but leaned a bit too tart for my taste. My girlfriends enjoyed their cocktails too: Blackberry Collins - Jack Daniels, muddled blackberries, lemon juice, simple syrup, soda water South Tryon Gimlet - Vodka, muddled fresh basil, simple syrup, lime juiceOverall, we had a great time celebrating, though nothing stood out enough to make me feel like I need to rush back. It was a pleasant experience, just not one I'd call unforgettable."
"We went for national Margarita Day. We sat at the bar and had a couple house margs for $6 which were really good. Premade on tap. You can add any flavor as well. We got chips and salsa to start. I ordered the Cobb salad which was great for the price. I couldn't eat it all. We were sitting at the bar and both bartenders were really nice and attentive. One was giving me history on Mezcal and the other gave me a little sample of what that use with their frozen marg. We will definitely be back."
"I'll be the first to say, I came here when Drift first opened and was not impressed at all. However, I finally gave them another chance and I'm so glad I did! Brunch was delicious!! We had a few orders of oysters, french toast, salmon caesar salad, and lobster benedict. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was outstanding. Shoutout to Bill and his trainee, they worked so well together to make sure we had a great experience and you could tell they took a lot of pride in the service they gave. 10/10 all around. Will definitely be back!"
"My partner and I visited for an Offline promotion. We arrived for an early dinner on a Thursday. The place was mostly empty but there was a corporate party in the bowling area. We picked a table that was dirty and moved to the next one. Our waitress was very kind and helpful. We ordered a couple beers for $10 each, not a great start. Cocktail and wine were even higher price. The menu was a decent variety of pub style food, wings, burgers, dis. I ordered the variety platter with cauliflower buffalo bites, brisket sliders, and wings. The cauliflower bites were soggy, the brisket sliders barely had any meat, and the wings were ok.The server applied my promotion from Offline but entered the wrong amount so I had to have them change it, sigh. I tipped well but won't be back. Pins Mechanical and Dave and Busters are highly superior to this place. The place is all gray and boring, little art, no window treatments, no plants, no cool lighting. The bowling area looks like the only decently decorated spot. The other room is full of games with some interesting furniture."
"Food and service was very good and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is also pleasing to the eye."
"I've already been back because it's THAT good. One complaint - they got rid of their Cheerwine slush machine. I was pretty upset when I noticed. I hope it's just getting fixed or replaced because it pairs so well with their burritos. I got a burrito this time and we got some queso and guac to share. You seriously can't go wrong. My friend got a burrito bowl and IT WAS MASSIVE."
"We made an early dinner RSVP at 5:30 pm, so were seated right away. This time I ordered their Korean BBQ Mahi Mahi, which came with Sweet Potatoes and Edamame...and all of it was really good! Very spicy too, of course, with the Gochujang sauce on the fish. My husband tried their Cajun Fried Snapper...and he loved his dish as well. I love how they changed up the menu since last time with many new, juicy seafood options. We got this complimentary bread with red-based sauce, which my husband loved. We also ordered a cup of She-Crab Soup again. We thought they were a bit too salty, but good. I also tried this Blueberry cocktail, which was good...but not sure if I'd get that again. Service was good as well. Our waitress kept things moving fairly easily...and even a manager stopped by our table to check on our meal. The thing that disappointed me was that the ambiance was off. Maybe because we came too early, but the place was still a tad too bright, even as we were leaving...and there was no overhead music. I remember they played really nice overhead last time we were here. Also, the A/C wasn't too strong, and it was a super-humid day.Overall, we really enjoyed our meals here...and I'm sure we'll be back."
"Great service at this very small spot in Ayrsley that overlooks the movie theater. We arrived at dinner time on the way home from food shopping and popped in for a snack.I had a tin of beer, my wife had a mocktail which she said was excellent. Lots of options for non-alcoholic drinks here if that's your preference. A few minutes later, our order of fried cauliflower arrived. A little sticky with a sweet sauce but nice and spicy and very delicious. I'd have this again when I come here next time.[Review 2513 of 2024 - 3966 in North Carolina - 23525 overall]"
"La Victoria is a lively upbeat Mexican restaurant in the heart of Ballantyne! We stopped by one night for dinner and had a great time. I ordered ACP Texano which is basically ACP with chicken, shrimp and steak. The shrimp were perfectly cooked but there was no queso on the plate at all. My favorite thing about ACP is all melty liquidy queso over the rice and chicken, but not in this case. The cheese was shredded cheese melted over top that just became hard as it sat. I asked for a side of queso to dump on top. The side of queso was tiny and more than $5 which I thought was a little steep for what it was.I enjoyed my margarita and they have a great beer selection as well. This particular night, they were setting up for live music as we were leaving. Bummer! Overall, a great neighborhood spot!"
"The food here is fantastic, and it's the perfect spot for watching games! With plenty of TVs around, the atmosphere was lively and everyone was having a great time. Plus, it's dog-friendly, which was ideal for us since we brought our two dogs while visiting the CLT area--I absolutely loved that! The menu offered a wide variety of options, and we were thrilled with our choices. We started with the dip trio, featuring hummus, tzatziki, and a delicious spinach and artichoke dip. I ordered a shrimp avocado salad that was fresh and flavorful, while my husband enjoyed a smash burger with sweet potato fries. Everything was delightful! Our server was incredibly kind--she even brought out a large water bowl and some treats for our pups, which made our experience even more special. We left feeling completely satisfied and would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area!"
"Got takeaway seafood boil with 1/2 lb of snow crab, sausage and head-off shrimp with medium cajun garlic butter sauce. I paid a little under $40; I don't know how much these things typically cost but I didn't feel cheated. My order was prepared in under 10 minutes. The afternoon that I went in, there were several full tables of big parties enjoying their meals. The host was pleasant and efficient, as well as the cashier. No complaints with the service.Once home, I grabbed my salt shaker before I sat down to eat and quickly realized I wouldn't need it--the sauce was more flavorful than I was expecting. If you're salt-sensitive, the sauce I selected is NOT for you. I enjoyed it because I think shellfish needs it. And I would rather have salty-ish food than bland food.I do wish that the potatoes and corn (both free) were cooked in the sauce but other than that, I enjoyed the meal and will come back when I'm craving seafood again."
"What a delicious spot!My husband and I both opted for the hangman's rare roast beef. I got the small and he got the large. The small is about the size of a burger and the large is HUGE!!! My husband eats all and he could only finish half! The horseradish is delicious and the roast beef is tender and so fresh. I loved the French fries, which have to be hand cut! The little girls loved their hotdogs and were asking for seconds. The environment is casual, laidback, bar type environment with indoor and outdoor seating. Kid friendly! Our waiter was so kind and helpful! Definitely a must visit while in wilkesboro."
"Absolutely amazing just as the one downtown and the on central ave ! This place never disappoints the food is always fresh and delicious!"
"Getting our food was slow but our waiter was super great and kept checking in with us! We started out with yeast rolls and oh my YUM. I had a cranberry mule that was delicious. For our entrees my husband had a filet and sweet potato which he said was great. I was recommended the Snapper by our waiter. I expected a piece of snapper on a plate but no it was an entire experience! The snapper came in a bowl with chorizo, cornbread pieces, clams, some things I am not sure what it was but was delicious, topped with fried leak pieces and the waiter poured a broth over. Oh. My. Goodness. It was delicious. We will definitely be back! Such a cute spot for hickory!"
"For a pizza place, the beer was damn good. The pizza wasn't as good as I was hoping for: the crust was great, but there wasn't much in terms of toppings (I got the four cheese topping pizza, and I liked the mix, but it maybe covered a third to two/fifths of the pizza).I'm not a big fan of the restaurant itself, either. It was claustrophobic, and the wooden chairs are not comfortable on - well - your butt.I might try it again, although probably not unless the friend I was with wants to go there again; she liked it more than me, so I just smiled and said it was great. I really did like the beer thought - that was exceptional."
"Hostess/bar service was so friendly and accommodating. An easy, quick burger/dog spot. Glad they're quick to swap my bun too, inhaled it"
"First time here after the previous rebranding of the past restaurant. We booked a reservation for a Friday night and was seated fairly quick. There was plenty of seating but not a huge fan of the low table that we were sat at. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. No issues there. We ordered the carbonara and Alfredo pasta. I'm big on saucy pasta so I'm happy about that. You can tell that the pasta was made fresh and al dente (it was slightly chewy). For drinks we ordered the Tiramisu martini and boy let me tell you... they were made strong. Overall I would say we had a good experience."
"Love the Common Market vegan options. Always delicious. Great service and atmosphere too. It is a regular go-to for me."
"Came here with some friends for a lunch. They were busy but we were lucky enough to find a table. The food is good and pretty unique imo. It wasn't just regular burgers. They were well made with fresh toppings. Our server was great! I wish the parking situation was better! We had to park across the street behind another business."
