"Went for dinner and we ordered the French onion soup, kale salad, duck confit, and beef bourg. The main entrees were fantastic! The duck confit is cooked to perfection as it is tender and moist! The beef bourg is also amazing. Also tender and moist. Both dishes were full of flavor. Great portion size! Great atmosphere and fantastic service!"
"Sampled a variety of sweets and baked goods from Villani's twice in the past year or so. The croissants have been my favorite and they are huge!! The butter and almond are both yummy and very easy to heat up leftover at home in the oven wrapped in foil. Their sweets and macarons have been completely hit & miss but I wouldn't not give them another chance."

"Best Apple Fritters on earth. Doughnuts are very good. Service is good. Ambiance is simple."
"Very cute shop in Baxter with delicious choices of desserts. We ordered three cupcakes for the kids and they loved them. They are pretty big and sweet so they ate about half, then took the rest home for later. The shop owner was there and she was friendly and helpful. There are places to eat inside. Cozy, cute ambiance."
"First timer here and boy oh boy did I enjoy my donuts and hot chocolate! The shop was clean and staff greeted me as I walked in. They had a great selection of donuts available in which I bought the milk & cookies and honey butter cinnabun donuts. Both were delicious! My hot chocolate was definitely hot and chocolate-y lol. It was perfect being that it was snowing outside. This was my first time patronizing this business and I'm impressed. I will definitely go back for more!"
"Sumaq is a little gem in an unexpected area of south Blvd. South American style food and desserts and an array of amazing coffee and tea drinks. Loved the outdoor patio with great chairs and heaters and spaces to sit and enjoy the food and chat. They also have ample parking which was nice . Inside is equally nice with the significant tree in the center. There is a meaning behind this I'm sure as I've seen it at other South American coffee shops too. Great open space with people WFH and others just enjoying their coffee . The service was standard and quick . All the sandwiches and wraps are made to order. We tried the wallpa quad, which is chicken, egg, lettuce, tomato and special house mayo . Wrapped in a thin wrap. Very tasty and filling! Loved the combination and the spices from the sauce. Also tried the cappuccino which was a lovely cup of strong coffee and pretty . We also had a mocha chino which was nice and creamy and nice cocoa flavor. Our sweet treats were the lemon tart which came on this fabulous crumbly shortbread with lovely lemon curd type cream on top with some whipped cream . This was just delicious and not over sweet. The Alfajores was also amazing. Shortbread that just melts in your mouth with a nice layer of dulce de leche in the middle and powdered sugar on top. Yum. The savory and the sweet were all really good and you can tell made in house. All their other sweet baked good looked awesome. So I definitely wanna go back to try that tres leche! Loved this lovely well run place. You can never love too many coffee shops !"
"This here is a review of the bakery itself, not the truck. Actually I'm not even sure if the truck is still a thing, but it would be cool to see it somewhere if so.Coming in is confusing at first. They're actually a part of the strip mall - at the very end. It's a cute set up. Very colorful and inviting. Parking is a pain. I recommend backing in. Inside they have a tall display case with about 8 different flavor concoctions. Seems like they change up most of these every day. They probably also have a daily limit where they shut down once sold out. They sell "day old" cupcakes on another shelf. I came in on Valentine's Day and they were going nonstop.I ordered a box of four which comes to $10. If the guy running the register didn't suggest it, I wouldn't have even known. (Even though there's a sign or it.) You can also buy just one for $3. So getting four is quite a deal. If I heard correctly, when you bring your box back in they'll give you a cupcake in exchange for it. I think that's awesome that they see the value in not wasting. Also, what a way to get people to come back in?I got a blueberry french toast cupcake with bacon on top. It was amazing. The bacon was just enough salt to pair up nicely with the sweet frosting. The filling of a sort of baked blueberry reduction was unexpected and scrumptious. I also got a banana pudding, red velvet and "death by chocolate" for my girlfriend. They were actually out of those but were making more in the back at that exact moment. They hooked me up. They put the cupcakes in plastic cups turned upside down. It's ingenious really. Clearly I'll be back!"
"Love this place! Best bahn mi I've ever had. I also like the pate chaud. The matcha milk tea with boba is also one of my favorites. I've tried the food hall in the shopping center for the same items and never again. Won't be cheating on Lula. Every single time I've ordered from here it never disappoints."
"Delicious coffee and pastries! Got a whole box of goodies for my customers that are in the area (and a coffee and piece of red velvet cake for myself). They has so many options! Everything looked amazing. The cookies are huge! Kind of wish I had gotten a cookie. The cake was good and there is a LOT of icing-- so if that's your thing --this is your place! Will definitely be back even if it's just for a donut and coffee!"
"Cute place but $5 for a donut?!? Heck to the no! I almost fell over when I was charged $10 for 2 donuts! And they were more like cake, not donuts."
"Tucked away down a busy bar filled street, this bakery is super cute! The staff and owners are so incredible friendly and kind. Their decorations are so cute. There is literally something for everyone! They have ice cream and pastries galore!"
"I ordered catering from here this past week for a baby shower and it was excellent! Everything was very easy about placing the order and Paolo was very kind and helpful. The food was delicious and it really made the event special! Thank you!"

Cafe monte serves absolutely delicious food without doubt . Service is amazing - very thoughtful waitress who gave suggestions and various option to consider . The waitress time was little over 20 minutes despite after a reservation. The crab / lobster and veggie crepes were too amazing . The place is a casual hangout place & noise level is little high considering it's not a very huge place . Overall experience is good

Yummy treats, including gluten free options. They offer coffee, macarons, cake slices and more! It's tiny inside with no seating inside so be prepared for grab and go. There is some seating outside and a good size parking lot too.

Absolutely knocks it out of the park when it comes to donuts. I like the feature of allowing customers to choose their own fillings. One suggestion, because I didn't see it there, would be to offer angel filling as an option. I'm not personally a fan of angel filling, but some people prefer it to Bavarian cream. It's a very clean establishment and the service was top notch. I'll definitely be back again soon.

Donuts are common but The Salty Donut is rare. These are not the inexpensive mass produced ones you get at the Krispy people or the Dunkies people. These are small batch made and they're awesome. After my Candied Pistachio, I suddenly realized that I couldn't return home empty handed. So on the way out, I perused the display and decided that Mrs. K. would be enjoying the Whipped Lemon Ricotta Bombolini. Not cheap at $4.30 but wow, amazing.Yes, I was warned when offered a bite that it had to be a small one so I did so. Strong lemon flavor and just like my Candied Pistachio, perfection. The Salty Donut also offers traditional glazed, Samoa Cookie, Cookie Monster and Cragels. They have Vegan and Gluten Free donuts too!Note that the address is correct but they are on the Camden side of the building. There is two hour street parking in front and they validate up to two hours in the building's parking deck.[Review 65 of 2025 - 4040 in North Carolina - 23633 overall]

This place....they just make me so happy! This trip I tried the strawberry matcha at the recommendation of my super cool homegirl. She's raved about it for a while so I couldn't wait to try it and it did not disappoint. I think about this particular drink regularl lol. It was so soooooo good! The strawberry in the matcha was so refreshing and a nice flavor variation from the matcha which was also delicious! This drink was the star of the show for sure.I also ordered the chicken sandwish and was thoroughly impressed by how great it was. The bread was soft and the sandwich itself packed a huge flavor punch. Super pleasantly surprised!!! Eating the nutella muffin at home was the cherry on top though. It was actual eprfection and I didn't even heat it up! It was massive and so damn good. Truly. Can't wait to go back and probably order the same exact things lol.

Great cupcake spot. This is a Hidden shop near Carolina Place mall. It's a pink shop in a shared shopping area with plenty of parking. They offer a variety of flavors in the cupcakes are very moist I quite enjoy the oatmeal cookie cream cupcake. Customer service was superb. I was informed about an incentive if I bring the box back I will get a fifth cupcake for free since I purchased four. Definitely recommend and will return! They asked that customers continue to wear a mask. What a smart idea when you're selling food in a smaller store. The cupcakes are put in a cup holder. Never seen this before it was very surprised smart idea. I hope you enjoy your tasty treats.

Banh Mi sandwiches are pretty hard to beat. Texture, variety of flavors and a great price point. So I had high expectations when I popped in to Lula to get a sandwich for dinner.I opted for their "Cold Cut Classic" which at $7 is a great deal. It had the vietnamese ham and cheese and peppers and cucumbers. The baguette was nice and crunchy on the outside, leaving a pretty solid bunch of crumbs on the table and even the floor around me. Yeah, don't eat this in the car. Fantastic texture with crispy vegetables and soft cheese/meat inside. The peppers were nice and hot enhancing the flavor of the sandwich.[Review 542 of 2024 - round number 3600 in North Carolina - 21574 overall]

"What a great find isn't Ballantyne area! Nice cafe with a good variety of pastries, sandwiches and drinks to choose from. The service was nice, quick and helpful. You get in line, make your selection, choose your seat and wait for your name to be called. I chose a nice hot lemon ginger tea, a vanilla and almond madeleines. They were so flavorful! It was hard to choose from the different options available. They also had madeleine variety boxes with different quantities that looked like a good present idea! It's a very chill and relaxing place when you can hangout with a friend, a place to get your reading updated or get some work done. So many options to explore and enjoy this cafe!I'm definitely coming back!"
"Looking for a sugar rush? This is the place! We don't go often but when we do it's amazing! Try putting 6 large, soft, cinnamon rolls of heaven then topping it off with the warm sweet cream you would get on a cinnamon roll. Then you select 4 toppings. You will see by the photos they look wonderful and they make a great birthday cake. The only surprise was the price. Wow! I wish I had the receipt but I walked out of there $80 less than when I came in Enjoy - it is truly amazing."
"Best Banh mi sandwich I've had!! Deliciousness Bread was crisp and fresh. Ingredients were perfection. Pickled Daikon was on point. Pate is my favorite."
"I was craving a pastry and decided to visit this local spot. I decided to get the blueberry muffin and cream cheese Danish. The muffin was delicious, but I there were hardly any blueberries in it. The cheese danish was AMAZING!! While a little pricey, the pastries were very tasty. Definitely worth a visit."
"This a gem located in Belmont. I didn't know about this place until I was on Yelp. I saw the pictures and was YES! I am on my way. My daughter, brother, sis-in-law, and myself arrived here one Saturday night. There was plenty of parking as it's located in a shopping center. The young lady working there was friendly and not annoyed by all the questions we had. There were about 4-5 tables in the restaurant. I ordered two cinnamon rolls. My daughter had the Smores and I had (I think it's called) the Turtle Dove. I bought these this past summer (2023) and I am just now realizing these are VEGAN. I have never eaten anything VEGAN, or so I thought. I always thought Vegan options were nasty, but this place has proven me wrong. It might be the only vegan option I choose again lol."
"Love the new owner! Friendly and welcoming. Doing great changes to the place. The food taste better then before. Love that now they also carry Waxhaw Creamery ice cream so I don't need to drive down to downtown Waxhaw. Also appreciate the outside sitting so I can bring my dogs !"
"Wonderful Birthday Cake.Decorated tastefully and delicious too!A perfect dessert ending after dinner at Choplin's"
"Food and coffee is delicious, great service, fun atmosphere and you can't top local charm! Great local gifts for sale as well!"
"Very good local bakery with several things to try. Their main focus is their coffees. We tried a couple pastries which were very good, but a little pricey. Nice for an occasional treat."
"Visited this great coffee place during a recent trip to NC. Their scones were delicious and their coffee was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive. Worth a visit!"
"I personally think these cookies were so good! Especially the cornbread cookie and the blueberry cookie !the cookies were warm crispy edges but soft in the middle ! Still cooked but soft and so good! The service was great! She greeted us and we were able to put our order In on the screen and get our cookies! The store itself is small but cute and pink! Pink is my favorite color! Over all I loved the cookies this week !"
"So it's been 3 years since I came back. The prices were mainly the reasons I decided it wasn't worth it. Today's visit was to have something different and this happened to be in our view. Bagels with cream cheese for me and bagel with eggs for the hubs. Today there aren't any add ons so I don't know if that part of this place has improved. I remember my last visit (3 years ago) the place charged me for lettuce and cheese on my sandwich and I felt a bit financially robbed. Basic sandwich ingredients shouldn't be an up charge. That opinion for me will never change. Today's visit was easy. The bagels were delicious and that's fantastic! So I'll let ya know if we stop by again to try a sandwich. . For now we'll stick to the main thing . Bagels ."
"There is nothing more satisfying than a cinnamon crumbl cookie! It is my comfort food. Customer service is always good. I'm so impressed. The store is always spotless and organized. I love being able to see the cookies being put together as ordered. I know that when I take that first bite it will be warm and fresh."
"Nice fresh soft treats. I would definitely visit again. Nice location and beautiful place."
"Okay so I seem to have become addicted to this place. There are a few inconsistencies I need to point out though. First is that like other Yelpers have noticed this bakery has three different names. The name above the front door, the name on the receipts and the name on the emails. They need to pick a single name and stick with it.The second inconsistentcy is that you don't have any idea what's available from day to day and if it's moist or dry. You might think that I'm only talking about the cake being dry, but oddly I've also experienced frostings that are dry as well. So it's really hit or miss when you visit.. I've sampled almost everything they have and I think that I'll stick with what's been proven to be good. The carrot cake and the Hershey chocolate cake were excellent. My friend also enjoyed his cupcakes."
"I needed some cake. Cake is one of my weaknesses. Smallcakes makes the most moist and delicious cupcakes around. These will fall apart as you try to eat them, but you'll be savoring every crumb. The cakes are perfectly flavored and baked and the frostings are sweet, smooth, and serve as the perfect compliment to their cake pairing. The staff is friendly and fast. They get orders out the door here. You can dine right inside or take your Smallcakes on the go. Pricy but the quality is so worth the cost. Go grab some today. You will not be disappointed."
"Overly priced Costco food more than likely warmed in a confection oven. The bread for tea sandwiches was dry. The owner /manager camped out in one of the booths and conducted business the entire time. Good tea selection. Decor was quaint but a bit crowded. Service was good, and that's why I gave 3 stars. However, they automatically add a 20% gratuity -I'm only accustomed to this for large parties not for 2 people. Let me be the judge of what you deserve for a tip."
"Best NY bagels in town! No lie! The owners are amazing as well. We've been coming here for years. We highly recommend!"
"I first had Abigail's when her business was from home. Our family was excited when she opened her shop in Downtown Salisbury. I love to see a Local expanding their business. Multiple daily options in her shop to pick up. Preordered cakes, truely showcase Abigail's artistic side as well as her baking skills. Check out her social media for pictures. My absolute favorite is the peanut butter frosted cupcake. The chocolate cake is so moist and the PB frosting is amazing!!! You can take out your sweet treats or sit and eat them in the shop. She does have coffee & water available. A definite must stop while in town!!"
"The limited edition/specialty cookies were really good. The chocolate chip cookie was amazing due to the size and cake like taste. The Oreo like cookie was good because it was cake like and warmed, but I had to scrape a lot of the cream cheese tasting icing off. The red velvet Willie Wonka inspired cookie was good as it was more of 2 cookies with cream in between. The last cookie was ok, but cold. I didn't bother trying it and let my daughter have at it. The service was fast, and the location was clean."
"Yum! My daughter chose a bunch for her 8th grade graduation! The service was great. The cookies were fresh and tasty."
"I had the Tandoori Roti and Chicken Tikka Masala. This Tikka was different than most others I've had in that it had large chunks of bell peppers and onions and it was a mix of breast and thigh meat. The sauce was tasty. I had mixed feelings about the veg chunks. The Roti was good. This place is easy to miss as it sits on the front side of a strip where most businesses have their entrance on the other side."
"I wanted to add an update to my first Review.I have made Tita's a favorite of mine! Alone with a delicious coffee, a sweet treat or empanada.....this is an amazing way to spend "Me Time!" Always the Best in the Yummy department....and equally importantly.....is the peaceful - "sit a spell" atmosphere.Make it your special place, too!"
