"I don't know why the reviews are so bad, this was great for Sunday breakfast with the family. We all got different things and they were good. Obviously it's no New York bagel but definitely deserves more than 3 stars. I got the nova and it came with a good amount of lox. They don't have specialty coffee but they do offer different kinda of regular coffee (French vanilla, hazelnut, decaf, etc.)"
"We quickly looked up a coffee place near by and we found this place and I have no regrets... best coffee ever honestly. Great service and a delicious taste to every thing ."
"Solid German and American Good. Excellent and Friendly Service. Pleasent Ambiance in a relaxed setting."
"Went to Bagel Boys on a Saturday Morning around 10:30 am the good news/bad news is they were not busy. We ordered two OG Bagel Sandwiches that were different meat, cheese and how the eggs were prepared. The sandwiches were $8.50 which comprised of bagel, egg, one slice of bacon and cheese. They were ok tasting... nothing I would rush back for especially since the orders were made wrong. We will keep looking"
"Great bagels... probably the best I've had.. was there at 8 was out by 8:01... the bagel is very tasty with a ton of cream cheese. Will definitely be back."
"Lots of customers. Latino music (Selena) resonating while reviewing the menu. Great selections of bagels available to choose from. Fresh ingredients. Large portions. Fast service. Lots of New Yorkers patronize this shop. Who knew this was in Mooresville? Friendly guy that took my order had good convo too. I ordered the Lox bagel and the lettuce was fresh and crisp. The tomatoes were juicy and the capers and red onions were flavorful and plump. I enjoyed my meal while waiting to have my car serviced. Good conversation. I'll definitely come again."
"Great place with friendly employees! I love the ambiance there as well as their avocado toast."
"Bagel Boat just does. not. miss. The bagels and bread is always fresh and tasty. I have recently been hooked on the Hoeny Bacon Sunrise, but my all time favorite menu item is the Turkey Cranberry. Do not sleep on the lattes and classic Black & White cookies."
"Always loved coming to Poppy's. They have wonderful bagels, and I enjoy trying out their many different flavors of cream cheese. On my last visit, I tried an everything bagel with strawberry cream cheese...much better than I expected! I will be coming back to Poppys."
"These are by far the best bagels outside of NY & Philly. We typically get a 6-12 to eat for breakfast throughout the week as they are not on the way to work. It's located in a shopping center and is pretty small inside - some counter height seating and 2 small tables against the wall are all there is, so don't plan on eating there. The lox spread could use some work, and sometimes the toaster seems uneven, but when it comes to the correct balance of chewy, crisp, and doughy - this is the place to go for a proper bagel!"

The people here are nice but the quality of their actual bagels are awful for a bagel shop. The last bagel I had here had the consistency of something that sat out for a few days - there was no way that it was freshly made... and it if was, probably time to reconsider whoever is baking them and start fresh, pun intended. They also don't seem to understand the smaller details like salt and pepper, hot sauces etc - some of the things that make a real New York deli special.

Let me start with - I'm not a huge coffee gal, except postpartum so I'm not one to get something like an americano. My husband and I have been coming here a lot lately for him to work and I'm so so glad we have.I get a caramel frappe and he has gotten a mocha or peach smoothie. Each one has been wonderful and man are they FAST at making everything. My favorite food is the blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese. The cream cheese is whipped and has some bits of strawberry within. Bagels are toasted to perfection and I could eat a million, they're so good. The drive thru is awesome if you're on the run, but if you want a peaceful work spot or meeting place the inside is great for that.Big fan!!

Running my errands this afternoon and I was craving a hot dog. Yelp brought me to the Good Wurst and it was a great choice. These are not cheap hot dogs. This is quality with a lot of toppings and served with a side. I chose the "Carolina" which is a grilled hot dog topped with chili and cole slaw and onions and mustard. It's super messy and super delicious. And with it, potato salad which was creamy and chunky.I opted not to get a drink. The Good Wurst is open super late - they have a "pick up window" that stays open until 3am. And there is some outside seating, just remember that there are homes and apartments nearby so keep the noise down, mkay?[Round number review 3700 in North Carolina - 1780 of 2024 - 22803 overall]

Based on the previous reviews, they seem to have made some recent improvements. We stopped in on a weekday morning for breakfast. The lady taking my order verbally confirmed my order twice and then asked me to check the order on the register. It was correct and I appreciated her confirming the order. Our order was ready in a reasonable amount of time and tasted great. I chose the Avocado Breakfast Bagel and paid a little extra to add an egg. The bagel and avocado were flavored well (on the spicier side) and I received 4 eggs when I had expected 1. This was great since I left happy and satisfied. The only thing I didn't like was that the avocado was ice cold when I expected it to be warm. For the portion size, the price was reasonable. Overall, we enjoyed our breakfast here and recommend it to others!

Yes yes yes! One of the best in the area! I am from NY and some of the closer ones I've had to back home ALSO they have gluten free bagels. I recently was diagnosed with celiacs and I am so happy they have GF bagels. Will definitely be returning!

I'm going to argue with a few of the other reviewers here... I grew up on Long Island, but it's been 20 years since I moved away. This was the best egg sandwich I've had ever since leaving in 2001. I kept it simple... 2 eggs over medium, sausage and cheese, on a toasted plain bagel. I don't yet know how the eggs would have been fried if I hadn't specified "over medium," but the end result left me dreaming of going back VERY soon. SO good! They had the best hazelnut coffee I've had in years, and the baked goods all looked dynamite! I jumped on a chocolate chip muffin before noticing the beautiful crumb buns. The muffin was outstanding, but there's no doubt that those crumb buns are going down next time!Keep doin what yer doin, and I'll see ya soon!

Tried this place for the first time. Welcomed by two friendly ladies behind the counter. The space is lovely and clean. Loved all the plants everywhere. The flight was delicious and the everything bagel was so lite and such a great flavor. Wonderful experience.

THIS BAGEL PLACE 10/10!!!!!! Their bagels are delicious! It's hard to find a good bagel place that's not a chain and has authentic New York bagels, but this place is so good. I don't recommend the drive thru. It is made to order and depending on your order it can take some time for them to make it and can make you waiting there for longer than expected for a drive thru, but if that doesn't bother you then do your thing.Definitely recommend this place!

"So it's been 3 years since I came back. The prices were mainly the reasons I decided it wasn't worth it. Today's visit was to have something different and this happened to be in our view. Bagels with cream cheese for me and bagel with eggs for the hubs. Today there aren't any add ons so I don't know if that part of this place has improved. I remember my last visit (3 years ago) the place charged me for lettuce and cheese on my sandwich and I felt a bit financially robbed. Basic sandwich ingredients shouldn't be an up charge. That opinion for me will never change. Today's visit was easy. The bagels were delicious and that's fantastic! So I'll let ya know if we stop by again to try a sandwich. . For now we'll stick to the main thing . Bagels ."
"Family Dough is DEFINITELY the move if you're in the mood for a New York style bagel. Now mind you, you can't replicate NYC water , however, this is the closest thing to a NY style bagel I've EVER tried outside of the city. Had to go with the everything bagel which was seasoned to perfection. As you can see from the picture, they loaded up with Lox, cream cheese, tomato and capers (I opted out of the onions as I had to speak with people lol!) The staff is super welcoming and you can tell they have that family atmosphere down. If you're ever on this side of town do yourself a solid and go check them out. I know I will DEFINITELY be coming back!"
"I love the variety in which this joint has to offer. I will say the blueberry bagel has absolutely zero flavor despite the bold, bluish color of the bagel. Any egg and bagel breakfast sandwich kinda sucks. There is such little egg and the bagels are SOOO DRY. It's like putting a goldfish (egg) on top of a triscuit (bagel). Also they are not gluten friendlY- despite what they say; They toast the gluten free bread in the same toaster as any other bagel or bread."
"When I was visiting my friend in Fort Mill, he went out to grab some bagels in the morning. I was not expecting much.I was PLEASANTLY surprised in the most delicious way. I took one bite of this bagel and cream cheese and was like, "this is a good bagel Travis." I took another bite of the bagel and was like, "this is like actually a really good bagel Travis." I probably said it like 5 times. The chew on this bagel was *chefs kiss*. I also decided to got a chicken caesar wrap because everything was so incredibly affordable. The flavor of the wrap was good... but the filling to tortilla ratio was a bit off. There was a lot of tortilla folded on other tortilla because of lack of filling. That said, the sparse filling inside was VERY good. The chicken was super fresh and the Caesar dressing was pretty darn tasty. There were just a few too many bites that were completely tortilla. Would go back. Just to emphasize... this is a pretty good bagel Travis."
"Such a cute spot in Uptown. Truly a gorgeous space. The large windows give it so much light. A perfect place for breakfast and teleworking. They have a short breakfast menu but it feels like they cover all the bases. I got the SEC bagel, which was good. I would've loved some kind of seasoning in the sausage though. There was a sauce on the side that paired really well and added some flavor. The raspberry latte was your standard, meaning delicious. They got my coffee and food out relatively quickly. All in all, the space, coffee, food, and service are decent and worth a visit."
"finally. FResh Real NY bagels in NC. Lovely folks that work there and run it who happily handed me my order when covid distancing."
"While the bagels and style of Mike's is typical of a bagel shop in NYC or Long Island, I was a little frustrated with the service. Typically, in NYC, when you order just a bagel with cream cheese, the person who takes your order will just go ahead and make your bagel (that's the way it was done for the 19 years l lived in NY). It just makes sense. Instead, it was put in with the orders for people who ordered several breakfast bagels. As a result, I waited almost 20 minutes for a bagel with cream cheese. Typically, I just get a dozen bagels and take them home which is what I'll do going forward. It's not a knock on Mike's or the people working there because it's a great place with good bagels. I just wish they would change the process of completing simple orders."
"Amazing food, old school deli at its finest, The service was great, punctual and delicious. The place is small with ample seating but the modern bright atmosphere makes for an upscale ambiance."
"We recently went to Poppyseeds Bagels to find deli comfort foods to cater my mother's funeral. The staff was amazing, and they worked with us to plan and place the order. On the day of the funeral, they recognized us when we pulled up, and started to bring the order to the car before we'd even walked inside. The smoked salmon platter and pastry platter were both beautiful, the salads (egg, tuna and whitefish) were delicious, and of course, the bagels and bialys were fantastic. We don't live nearby, but we will go back as often as possible to try everything, including their breakfast specials!"
"These are the best bagels we've found in Charlotte! We got an egg everything bagel (they were out of regular everything bagels when I was there - not a problem) with sausage, egg, and cheese. The bagel was flavorful with a great texture, and I loved the gooeyness of the melted cheese. This really hit the spot!I also ordered a Goodiebag, which ended up being a mix of a dozen plain, whole wheat, and (mostly) cinnamon raisin bagels. I decided to buy a 1/2 lb of sundried tomato cream cheese to enjoy with the savory bagels, and OMG I was not prepared for how good that cream cheese would be! It's loaded with tomatoes and tastes so fresh and lovely. We've been using it on wraps and in scrambled eggs too. Yum yum yum. The cinnamon raisin bagels are perfect with peanut butter and banana. I sliced them all and froze the majority, so now I can just toast up a half when the craving strikes. NY Old School Bagel has a pretty wide selection, including classics like pastrami and even pizza bagels. I'm looking forward to trying more of CLT's finest bagels!"
"Love the fresh baked bagels. The everything bagel is great but my favorite is the garlic. The only bad thing is the limited hours and days. I feel like go by there every time they are closed."
"I only had bagels but I read amazing things about their bakery and sandwiches. I'll try a sandwich next time. I know they make everything in-house and the quality of the bagels is high. The butter almost tastes unsalted--it's a light butter taste. That might be only negative for me but still delicious. The people that own this place and the employees are incredibly friendly. I will be happy to continue to give them my business. And they work very hard. One girl at the front was running all over the place but never got stressed and still smiled at everyone. So, not only are the owners good people, but they hire the right people. One of the best work cultures I have seen in Mooresville. The layout of this place is interesting. It's very small, which gives it an almost Cape Cod-type vibe (no clue where that came from but it's what came to mind). It's quaint, which gives it charm when combined with friendliness, but the line can get long and it's a tight space--and you don't have much place to stand while waiting for your food. If the register was pushed back a little, it might help, but I'm not the guy to listen to on that stuff--I just eat bagels. Overall, highly recommended! And I haven't even tried their best items yet."
"Great bagels (the best) and coffee Atmosphere is comfortable and I love the upstairs seating area."
"Ambiance is great here and the drive thru option is a major plus for a small local coffee shop. This is a rare thing for a coffee joint beyond the corporate giants. Coffee is always good although sometimes the consistency of the taste may be slightly off sometimes. But if you understand coffee and pulling espresso shots there can be very fine nuances that change depending on the grind, temp, time, and even the barista can affect the way a shot is made/tastes. So I'm not upset that it's not the same every time. It just shows that this is the real deal. I enjoy the Breve here and the Chai Tea is solid too. The blended drinks are always good too. We've tried the spicy cayenne pepper drink and it was too much spice. I know it can be done as I've had it at a different coffee shop and it had just the right amount of kick. But this could be very subjective as everyone's spice level is different. All around Hive is a great choice for local coffee in Shelby and they have another location near downtown right next to MiPubs Mexican restaurant."
"Wow! Been in NC for 5 years and this is the closest thing to a NYC bagel I have had. Really excellent!"
"I really want to like this coffee shop. It has great drinks, good food (limited menu right now), and friendly service. My main complaint is that sometimes they are blaring Christian music. I understand it's a church in the back on the weekends, but during the week they play it as well sometimes. Other times they play pleasant instrumental jazz or other streamline coffee shop music. I wish I knew which days to avoid - I don't want my coffee with Christian music."
