"I've been to this place a few times in the past...but due to the long distance from my home, I haven't been back in a long time. Plus, I never wrote a review for them back when, so here's one now!The place is still quite small, but they have a cool seating layout...with some nice patio seatings as well. I remember enjoying their patio dining. I could be wrong, but I thought they changed up some decorations (??). For a super-late lunch at around 3 pm, I was surprised to find the place fairly busy.I ordered their Lettuce Wraps (w/ Chicken) and Szechuan Chicken (w/ Rice). Lettuce Wraps were good...but surprisingly, I've had better at P.F. Chang's. I say that because in the eeZ's version, the chicken isn't minced really small, but rather large chunks....and the flavor was rather bland. Luckily I liked the sauce that came with it. Now I LOVED their Szechuan Chicken dish! First of all, it had a very polished presentation...possibly because of their generous usage of green peppers to top the rice? I loved the dry texture of the rice...and the chicken was really good! This dish was also quite generous...easily big enough to serve 2!!Service was quite friendly and attentive...and the foods came out quickly. Although the Lettuce Wraps were a bit disappointing, I loved everything else...and have no regrets coming here again. I always liked the foods here...and I actually prefer eeZ over their sister restaurant Cowfish. If I lived closer to the north part of Charlotte, I can see myself returning here often!"
"10 out of 10. Service was great!! Seated quickly, server was quick and personable...not just an order taker. I ordered the Beef Bulgogi with a side of Kimchi. Outside of Korea, this was the best I've had. The kimchi wasn't as spicy as I was expecting but had good flavor. Strawberry boba was a tasty treat to have with my dinner as well. There was a larger party sat next to me which got kinda loud but it wasn't horrible. It was an overall very nice dining experience with great food. Y'all definitely need to check it out!"

"I was in town for a conference and my hotel was just down the street. Spice Asian Kitchen has a great menu full of delicious choices. I ordered for pick up and then walked to the restaurant and had a drink at the bar while I waited. The people were friendly and my meal was ready much earlier than expected. The food was delicious and just as perfect to-go.I LOVED the Spicy Edamame (don't worry, they have a non-spicy version, too!). There is nothing better than Spicy Edamame, it reminded me of Hawaii! The Spice Fried Rice, was yummy and I added Chicken and Shrimp!I cannot wait to visit again on my next trip!"
"If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food/pho, this is the place for you! I have been searching for a place like this in Charlotte for a long time! Their broth is phenomenal - both depth and flavor. The meat is surprisingly tender and delicious. Portion sizes are good. Service is usually quick, with the exception of my last visit. I have been disappointed by many places in Charlotte for pho, but this place does it right. Best pho in Charlotte! Highly recommend!"
"I loooooove their pho! So good! I come with my friends or sometimes by myself! Love the little place, the service is great and so is the food!!!!"
"The best sushi I've had in a long time. In town from California and looking for a sushi spot, was not disappointed! The sashimi was like butter! Also, a plus that they were playing worship music!"
"Spectacular. Just spectacular! This place has made it for over a decade in uptown Charlotte, which has been a revolving door for restaurants. It's quaint, and no frills, except for the food and service. They just grind here. One of the best sushi spots I've ever been to. Brandon, the manager, runs a tight ship.Go here!"
"Came here with a friend for dinner on a Sunday night. They were pretty busy and notified us that it would be a 30-minute wait for a table or immediate seating at the sushi bar, so we opted for the sushi bar.Unlike mini sushi bars, this one is well-spaced with great comfortable chairs. The ambiance is much like any other sushi restaurant with few notable decorative enhancements. We were promptly acknowledged by our server, who was friendly and gave terrific suggestions. For drinks, we ordered the blushing geisha and the Tokyo Mue. We both enjoyed our drinks, and they were strong. We started our meal with the gyoza, which came out quickly, was served piping hot and was very flavorful. We each ordered one sushi roll. I got the Naughty Akami, which was delicious and a great mixture of textures and flavors with exceptional culinary execution. The other roles on the menu didn't seem as complex, which I tend to go for when looking for a particular roll. I was still a bit hungry after the roll, and ordered the calamari, which also came out promptly, and we were piping hot season and well portioned. The only criticism I'd have is that it was all rings and no tentacles which I'm not as much of a fan of but it was still really good. All in all, we had a great experience, and I will definitely return ."
"Soft serves were delicious and drinks were fun and delicious! Service was quick and it's always so fun to watch your drinks being made. I got the Tokyo drink which was super fun and pretty to look at. But also very refreshing and delicious! Cute, little place that is Instagram worthy. Great for quick grabs or little dates. Definitely recommend!"
"One of my favorite restaurants! My kids love the chicken friend rice, my husband loves the chicken pad tai, and I love the crispy California roll! The appetizers are also great!"
"I don't think my review should hold a ton of weight on this one because me and my son don't eat sushi, and I think a lot of people come here for sushi. For food, my Spicy Mongolian Beef was a solid dish. I love that little spicy kick--always wakes me up and makes me feel alive. Just too many vegetables for me, but I'm sure most would like that. My son's Hibachi Chicken was good but dry. Very dry. Not sure why. House Salad with ginger dressing was on point. You can also ask them to add some cucumbers and tomatoes. Our first waitress wasn't very attentive but was covering a lot of tables. When the next waitress took over, she was very good. Despite being a tight spot with a lot of tables in a small space, the vibe here is good. I don't think my son would try it again but I would, and I would order something different. Prices are very fair!Overall, recommended. Might need a few visits to figure out what works for you in regards to food."
"I absolutely love this place and make a point to visit anytime we're in the area. We always opt for take-out, and it's always ready quickly. Their pokè bowls are on point. Everything is fresh and seasoned/cooked perfectly. It's such a refreshing, light meal but the portions are big enough that you will definitely be full or have leftovers. One of my favorite places!"

We are frequently dining here, but, when it is for a birthday dinner, it is still very special. I like the modern vibe here, with lots of window seating to look out at the busy Birkdale Village foot traffic. We were here on a Monday night, but it was still very busy. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday and she likes coming here. Favs on the menu are the crab Rangoon dip and the Korean spring rolls. Many of us order from the Stir Fry bar, where you can customize your bowl with choice of protein, veggies, sauce, noodles or rice, etc. and we tried the Fusion Bento Box. It is a lot of food! Always delicious and great service here. Our server, Mikayla, heard we were celebrating a birthday and brought a lovely slice of chocolate cake and singing to go with it! The gong was the best touch!! So much fun, made my girl laugh, glad she wasn't embarrassed. Thanks for making it a great experience.

Wow this place was delicious. I enjoyed the homemade chilli oil. I ate it with everything. The seafood soup was yummy, I ate the whole thing. The duck and the curry was good too! Service was awesome. Made sure that our drinks were filled and always check on me. The restaurant was clean and very relaxing. So if you're in the area stop by and give it a try!!!

I recently dined at Spice Asian Kitchen in Fort Mill, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The ambiance is modern and inviting, making it a great spot for both a casual meal and a night out. The service was excellent--attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu.I ordered the Miso Salmon, and it did not disappoint. The salmon was perfectly cooked--flaky, tender, and full of flavor. The miso glaze added the perfect touch of umami, complementing the dish beautifully. It was served with white rice and vegetables, which balanced the meal well and made it satisfying without being too heavy. The flavors were fresh, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared.Overall, Spice Asian Kitchen exceeded my expectations. If you're looking for flavorful, well-executed Asian cuisine in the Fort Mill area, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be back.

I had the great pleasure to dine at Doan's during a recent visit to Charlotte. Our friends dine her often and told me it was amazing, however as I have styled myself as a pho connoisseur I was skeptical. Luckily my skepticism was solidly, completely, entirely unfounded. The menu is extensive and has an entire vegetarian section which includes dishes such as spicy lemongrass tofu (delicious) and vegetable rice noodle soup (VERY YES). We tried both, and I was truly flabbergasted by the soup. The broth is incredibly complex and flavorful, and the addition of cauliflower to the typical veggies was a welcome surprise. The serving size of the soup is generous; those of us who ordered it were able to finish our bowls and were very satisfied. The inside is cozy, the servers are efficient and patient, and the pricing is quite reasonable for the quality and quantity. Doan's - if you're ever looking to open up a second location, I hear Louisville is a good place to be.

I've been wanting to check this place out for years! They always rank on Yelps top places to eat and they have great reviews!I ordered a few sushi rolls and crab wontons for pick up. Inside is super tiny, but they were pretty full. The staff was very friendly when I went in to pick up my order and they even had a Yell trophy on the register. How cool!My sushi was good, but not the best I've ever had. I think I may have enjoyed it more if I ate there instead of to go. I did eat it immediately and there was no issue with anything not being hot or whatever. It just seemed to be missing a little something. However, it was still good and I'd go back for sure!

"We are new to Asheville and decided to try Mr Sushi because it's close to where we live. We always enjoy supporting local 'Mom n Pop' businesses, as opposed to corporate, and we were not disappointed. It almost feels like grandma is lovingly making your favorite dish from behind the sushi bar. The service was excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. He didn't seem to mind at all that we ordered sushi 3 more times after our initial order. The sushi is fresh, well prepared, and delicious. The atmosphere is laid back, unpretentious (it's located in a small strip mall) and simple in decor. This is a welcoming place with great food and my family and I were able to relax and enjoy our time together after a long week. We're definitely going back for more."
"A friend recommended this place for dinner one evening. I have already been back a second time. Everything about this spot is perfect. Nice ambiance, really great menu, and the food is just addicting. Riley was our server the first time - and he really just was the icing on the cake. Very familiar with the menu, made great recommendations and service all around in both trips was superb.I really love how many "small plate" options they have, as well as lengthy list of entrees. Prices are very reasonable as well. Everything was so good, but the Roti and Curry will keep me coming back - so simple but SO good. This is a great choice for a date night or just happy hour with friends. So happy to have discovered it!"
"TLDR: Hibachi was good, fried rice was great, sushi was disappointing. Service was fairly quick. We were initially seated in the back, overflow type seating, and it was uncomfortably hot so we moved to the bar.I had the filet hibachi and it was nice. Portion was huge. The steak was tender but bland. I salted it and was pretty good. The fried rice was fantastic! Perfect balance of veggies and sticky rice.Sadly my wife's sushi was not very good at all. Crab roll was mostly rice, her other roll kept falling apart when she picked it up. Neither were constructed very well.In the end, there is much better sushi nearby but I am sure I will return as the hibachi is convenient."
"So many choices for dinner in the Optimist Hall! My eye was drawn to the ramen and so this was my decision.Placing my order with a friendly young lady, my phone buzzed at me a few minutes later and I picked up my meal. A bag containing all the needed parts and I found a seat nearby to assemble. Yes, everything was ready for transport so that it would still be fresh at home so it was even better to have it immediately.Opening the bowl of noodles and fixings, I poured the broth into the noodles and dug right in. Still hot of course and so much flavor. Mushrooms, fresh sweet corn, al dente noodles. It was beyond excellent. Absolutely delicious and fun to eat![Review 2090 of 2024 - 3764 in North Carolina - 23109 overall]"
"Was meeting up with my best friend and she wanted me to try it because she knew how much I loved Sushi!Upon exiting the elevators you have arrived at the Hestia rooftop experience and trust me it is just that whether you sit indoors or out. We went in the evening so the lighting was just right. Not too bright and not too dark.Started the night off with appetizers: Spicy Edamame and the Japanese Curry Crab Dip. Then ordered a few rolls because well I love sushi and when in "Rome", along with a bottle of J Lohr Cabernet. Our waiter was excellent and he checked on us frequently but not too much of that makes sense. I can't wait to go back when it's warmer so I can experience the outside vibe!"
"This place has some delicious options for food and sushi! The menu is huge. It is very quiet at lunchtime and you can get in & out pretty quickly. The server was very nice and attentive. One thing I wish they would change is they do not offer iced tea of any kind and the soda tastes weird. I love getting the sushi rolls. There are so many good ones it's difficult to pick. They do charge extra for any little mention of extra sauce or anything extra to go. Just FYI."
"Finally! Delicious hibachi in Charlotte. The sauces were really fresh and flavorful, all the vegetables had a great taste and texture, and the meat was tender. I ordered a medium, rare, filet mignon, and it was prepared more on the rare side.I thought that fifty two dollars for one entrée with one veggie roll was pretty steep pricing for takeout. The portion size were reasonable, but not large, and hibachi includes fried rice, but not noodles.Would definitely return for the flavor, less jazzed about the pricing."
"Ok so I came here on a Saturday for a birthday dinner with a few friends. This place was packed! The bar was full and all tables were taken so a reservation is the way to go. My entire table seemed to really enjoy their sushi and the street corn. I would skip the "fried rice". It wasn't worth it in my opinion. It lacked flavor and was just extremely basic. I tried the chicken skins and I mean it tasted just like how I expected so if chicken skins are your thing, go for it but I don't see a need to order again. The decor was cute, nice chairs and tables, flowers hanging from above, the typical IG aesthetics honestly. Parking is next door, it was $15 or you can try to find street parking but it was difficult on a cold Saturday night. Overall. I enjoyed my time out. I am not a huge sushi fan so I am not sure this would be a frequent occurrence for me."
"This is a rare find and a delightful treat! The ambiance is chic, clean and modern. The service is incredible, all the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The food was INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS. Authentic Asian food. This is a true Asian dining experience. There are multiple staff members rotating through the restaurant offering a very wide variety of dim sum to try. From shumai, to roasted duck, stuffed eggplant to braised chicken feet. You name it, they probably had it. You can choose to order from the menu, order dim sum or both, both menu items and the dim sum are excellent. Must tries are the dumplings, the Thai chili eggplant and the bolgulgi. But honestly, this is a place where you want to explore the menu. It's sure not to disappoint!"
"We tried Sabi for the first time this week, we got a to go order on Sunday evening. We had Tofu and Broccoli and Tofu Kung Pao. Both were good, everything was cooked nicely, and the order was ready right on time. They have a large menu, there are other items I would like to try. I will visit them again."
"Totally surprised to find this hidden gem after living in Waxhaw for more than 11 years! It's sometimes hard to find good Chinese food but this place is great. I ordered hibachi shrimp (minus mushrooms). I love that their food is somewhat "plain". The salad was simply lettuce, carrots, cucumbers and really good ginger dressing. I ate it before I thought to take a picture. The hibachi shrimp was filled with a decent amount of huge shrimp. The fried rice was also "plain" like I love it! Hubby had the white chicken (comparable to general tso) and our son had chicken fried rice. Everyone really enjoyed their meals and the customer service was top notch. We have found our new spot for great Chinese food!"
"Gluten free offerings! The service was great and the restaurant was super clean. They were very good about GF and it is marked on the menu. They even provided GF soy sauce! Didn't love what I chose - but it was well prepared. Just tried something new... my husband aside dumplings soup was good!"
"A last minute Friday night hibachi dinner with my boyfriend! We did not have reservations, but were promptly seated upon entry. Our server & chef were both fantastic. Extremely attentive and sweet, our drinks never empty and yum yum sauce always filled!Side note: one of my favorite ginger dressings!!!I got the hibachi chicken. I did not have ONE dry piece, not even the big pieces (iykyk)!! My boyfriend of course, the filet mignon cooked to a perrrfect medium. The seasoning was garlicky , but not overbearing. They also use fresh minced garlic on both the noodles and fried rice. 10/10. Beware!! They flash the restaurant lights often; during every birthday celebration. Do not be alarmed. Just some good vibes. All in all, we will be back. THANK YOU FUJI!"
"The restaurant has cute casual decor. Our service was very kind and patient as we worked our way through the menu. I was pleasantly surprised by the salted pork rice dish, it was the star of our brunch/dim sum. The soup dumplings are also a must try."
"We ate dinner here last night. Was able to go right in and sit down. We wanted hibachi. The salad came out with ginger dressing. After I started eating it, there was water in the bottom of the bowl. The salad was prepared earlier and the lettuce had watered it down. The clear soup was ok. I ordered the veggie plate, it was alright. So much food was left over. My husband ordered steak and lobster. The steak was the size of my palm, so was the lobster. I'm going to give it 4 stars. It was clean and the staff was friendly."
"Rustic atmosphere which I enjoy. 2 seating areas and a small bar. Fantastic pear martinis! Can't find them in most places. Terrific spinach and artichoke dip. Huge chunks of artichokes in it. The burgers were more burger than bun which is always a plus. They seemed short a server as everyone pitched in."
"I'm not sure why I haven't reviewed this place yet but Champa is a great option for those in the Hendersonville NC area looking for solid sushi options among other Asian cuisine. The place has a ton of seating and we've never had an issue being immediately sat. For those interested in a more unique experience, ask to sit in front of the sushi chef and what him work. My go-to is the Yummy Yummy roll and a cup of the Tom Yum soup. It's the perfect amount of food and never disappoints. Check it out today!"
"Baan Thai perfectly satisfied that craving I've been having for authentic Thai food at a reasonable price.Located in an easy-to-access strip, it's small inside with an open kitchen design I haven't seen before in any Thai or other Asian-cuisine restaurants. While apparently open for dine-in, the restaurant was empty when I came to pick up my takeout order on a Monday night. On order was a starter of their vegetarian fresh rolls, an order of pad thai with tofu, gang kiew wan (green chicken curry), and larb gai. The fresh rolls were simply made and bursting with their namesake freshness. You definitely need to dip them into the accompanying peanut sauce as they're otherwise unseasoned, but an excellent example of a light, delicious appetizer. The pad thai (which had some extra veggies added by request) was terrific, and a very large portion to boot. The green chicken curry was creamy, spicy, salty, and overall my favorite dish of the evening. Served over perfectly-cooked jasmine rice, it really hit the spot. The larb gai was serviceable, though the chicken tasted suspiciously like canned chicken I've had; perfectly edible, but not something I'd seek out for use in larb. Luckily, it was only around $7 and more of an appetizer-size portion so it was fine overall. The total came to under $40 for several meals worth of food, and the chef (and I'm assuming owner) was brusque but nice enough when I picked the food up. I'll definitely be trying their local Thai restaurant competition, but I know for sure I'll be coming back."
"Ordered togo food through their website and Chowtown. The process was very simple. I can well after my pick up time. Everything was still hot except the spring rolls. Overall I would say the food wasn't as flavorful as I remember it to be. The portion size was good and I was impressed with the aluminum foil trick to keep the food hot. Thai Orchid is still one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the city. Thai Orchid 4223 Providence RdUnit 7Charlotte, NC 28211Monday November 22, 2021 7:45pm(Review 621 overall, 165 in 2021)"
"Since moving to this side of town we have made Rai Lay one of our regular spots for dinner. Everything about Rai Lay has been wonderful. The restaurant itself is clean and feels welcoming and comfortable. The service is excellent, each person is kind and on top of things. The bar is nice and they make some fun, tasty cocktails. The sushi menu and regular menu are superb, both my husband and I have been trying different things and so far we have liked every single thing we have tried. We will continue to come back again and again!"
"Food was standard for chain sushi, service was okay. Appetizer came out the same time as the entree even though it was ordered well before. Paid $14 for 2 crunchy rolls and this was the amount of crunch I received which literally made me laugh, I would have had better results shaking out an empty bag of potato chips. It wasn't the meal that bothered me so much as the insulting lack of effort for someone paying for a meal."
"What a delightful Asian Restaurant, comfortable and pleasant. The food is amazing, delicious and a very nice presentation. The service was excellent!! We had a very kind and courteous service."
"Excellent service by Jamiaha. We had two delicious rolls. The Alamo and Pete's Treat along with fried pot stickers. Oh my goodness delicious! This is our go to for sushi. Relaxed atmosphere, very comfortable. Only thing they might need? A window cleaner. Otherwise it was wonderful!"
