This place is absolutely beautiful to hold events/parties etc. decor is stunning. From what I understand a food catering group owns the place so you have to go with their food, instead of bringing outside catering. I admit I was not impressed at all with the food. Was kind of bland. I was here for a special event so I don't know who chose the menu or even what their menu options are, but it wasn't seasoned very well. Maybe they have better options that I don't know abt since I wasn't the one hosting the event.

Great space for luncheons! Have attended several events here, love the decor and great service. The exposed brick, light fixtures, natural light and wood floors give the space an industrial, but modern feel. For professional organization lunches they offer tables and chairs, buffet lunch as well the microphones, podium, screens needed for presentations. The only negative I would say is during the luncheons you can hear people walking upstairs. Parking options include a paved lot and parking deck nearby that you typically have to pay for, but they do offer free parking for the luncheons I attend.

A beautiful venue! I came here for a meeting with work and it is really just gorgeous. The staff is VERY attentive and professional The space is really just beautiful....did I already mention that? I was just impressed about how well it was set up and the interior décor. Outside there were pretty tulips and a stunning garden/walk through area. I think it would be a fantastic spot for a wedding.

A decent space. Lots of windows and natural light. It loses two stars because there's no parking. You have to wait in line across the street at a pay to park lot. In the rain, this could be a real pain. They should arrange for dedicated parking. An uneven area that is starting to improve.

I was here for a wedding that my fiancee was performing and the place is a beautiful spot for a wedding/rehearsal dinner. Exposed brick, unique spaces and responsive staff (last minute change from outdoor wedding to indoor due to weather) make this a great place to be.Parking can be confusing, but there is a dedicated lot across the street.

Per a recent Social Media Charlotte breakfast, I had the pleasure of finally checking out Byon's South End. And, frankly, it's a bit sad it took me this long as I live only a few blocks away. Whether you're hosting a wedding reception, large party, special event, etc. - this place is pretty cool. Neatly organized in South End, Byron's sports plenty of nearby parking options and walkability to some tasty watering holes if you want to continue the festivities. Inside Byron's is a very cool open air atrium of sorts with plenty of space and interesting fixtures. The main dining area (and I assume where a dance floor would also be) is spacious and comfortable. The breakfast I attended easily accommodated 100 people - I imagine Bryon's could fit 200+ without breaking a sweat. If South End is your jam and you're looking for a flexible event space with interesting outdoor and indoor options, the staff to manage a site and even a kitchen in the basement area - Byron's is a sure fire option.

I was here for a wedding reception. It was absolutely beautiful! The food was all very tasty! I loved the little spot outside in the middle of the building. It was the perfect setting for cocktail hour and listening to a band.

Attended a social event at Byron's South End. The main space was nice and open. The catered items were fine. I could see this space being transformed into a great event space but I wasn't blown away last night. The entrance was a little awkward to find but the attached courtyard was nice.

I've been here for a handful of company events over the years. It's an interesting set up. As you walk in there is a little coffee shop just before the courtyard. To get to Byron's you have to go through the courtyard. Once inside, it a beautiful space that would be great for wedding receptions, company events (like the ones I've attended) and any other function that would require space. The food is always wonderful and the staff is friendly. Parking can be a little limited but it's really close to the Lynx light rail (East/West Blvd stop). If you get a chance to attend an event here, go!

We held our wedding reception here and it was fabulous. The person we worked with was always responsive when we had a question and helped make the process as smooth as possible. We had raving reviews about the food and how great the service was from the workers. My only negative comment was how expensive it is but it was well worth the money!
