Butter Crust Bakery

We came across them at the Belmont Winter Market in Stowe Park. I was drawn in by their ube Danish and ended up getting a mix of 5 different pastries. The older woman selling them was so sweet and explained each of the pastries. I tore into the ube Danish and it was so so delicious and tasted fresh! Will definitely recommend to others!

We found this bakery at the Uptown Farmers Market last weekend. We got there close to the end of the market, so they didn't have much left. We were drawn in by the ube danish. I love ube and it's not common so I was excited to see it. I really enjoyed the danish. It had a good ube flavor. I'll definitely check them out again and get there earlier next time to see what else they have.

Was visiting the area for the weekend, and I always make it a priority to scope out what ube offerings are available. This place came across on my Yelp search, and I reached out to butter crust via Instagram. They are incredibly friendly and accommodating. I was able to order a half dozen of ube danish for pickup at the uptown farmer's market. Butter crust also offers other danishes and croissants, and after seeing them at the market, I had to pick up another half dozen!The flake on the croissants are perfect. It is buttery and airy, with the perfect touch of sweetness. I also really enjoyed the ube danish. I am glad that it wasn't not overly sweet, and you could really appreciate the natural ube taste. These danishes/croissants stay good for up to a week and according to other customers they freeze well! Do not be shy and try all of the flavors. I am very happy I got to try this out while in the area!
