Bun Appetit!

Had the pleasure of trying Bun Appetit's small batch cinnamon buns!!! I got the Caramel Pecan Sticky Bun. This was the softest fluffiest cinnamon roll I've ever had. The caramel is scratch made and grabs all of the toasted pecans. The taste is heavenly. The cinnamon buns are served warm and with love. They are delicious when they are at room temperature also. I definitely will have to stock Bun Appetit. They have some other flavors that I would love to try and my co worker continued to rave about a cinnamon apple bun they have. Thanks for braving the cold and allow the workers at mental health to have some of your fluffy cinnamon buns!! When I found out that Bun Appetit was dropping off Sunday morning treats at my apartment complex I was thrilled. I mean who wouldn't enjoy a cinnamon bun in a box being delivered to you! We were notified Bun Appetit and Coffee Tin, a coffee food truck, would be available from 8:30-10:30.On a rainy Sunday morning I went down at 9 ordered my coffee and picked up a Vanilla Bean Cinnamon bun.They have several flavor options but I went with the classic Vanilla.The bun was light and fluffy, with a good bite, the brown sugar and cinnamon lingered in my mouth, and the vanilla bean sugar glaze topped everything. Sweet, with just the right touch of vanilla.Keep an eye out for them at Matthews Community Farmers Market on Saturday's, and check out the website and Instagram for other locations.

Ok, hear me out! I've been chasing this truck for months! But now they have a brick and mortar home at Toucan Louie's (insert happy dance). Ambience: Tucked away in a Uber cute, nostalgic diner off Rozzelles Ferry, this location is great. There is plenty of parking, and the kitschy deco and music makes for a great experience. Service: Not much to it, since they share the space, they have a corner, adjacent to the kitchen. Service was great, I arrived early (7:45) Saturday morning, as they usually sell out quickly. I was greeted warmly and thanked genuinely. The food: Good lawd y'all!!!!!!!! Now I understand the cult following. These were THE BEST cinnamon rolls I've ever tasted! I got one of each to share at my salon. The daily flavors were caramel pecan, blueberry, cream cheese and vanilla glazed. The blueberry blew my mind! The cream cheese was perfection. Just the right amount of sugar. Super fresh and soft. Ridiculously moist. All in all, I can't wait to go back! Like, this week. Like, tomorrow if I could! Their flavors rotate, so be on the lookout for what's new!

This is another popup I discovered via Instagram. Who doesn't love cinnamon rolls? They recently were at an apartment complex near me, so I stopped by. I pre-ordered a 4 pack. If you want to pre-order, it's 4 packs only. I got one of each flavor they had that day: Vanilla Bean Glazed, White Chocolate Buttercream, Caramel Sticky Bun, and Apricot Jam. They were all fantastic. They serve them warm which is pretty awesome. We only eat at night, so I just reheated them a bit. The White Chocolate Buttercream was my favorite. It melts in your mouth. I love these buns.....WARM bun delivery by the nicest people you could imagine! I'm excited these folks have weathered the storm and I hope they continue to partner & flourish! Perfect surprise delivery for colleagues who need a pick me up (and don't have gluten issues). Every single flavor has been spectacular. My husband & child can't get enough as they've started to send me reminders for delivery days! :)

My. Goodness. The buns are soft, the flavors are immaculate and getting these fresh on a Saturday morning at the farmers market? Unmatched. I had these for the first time yesterday and if I only got to the farmers market for one thing it will be these buns! Everyone was so kind and efficient even with a line down the sidewalk!

I bought a variety pack to send to my neighbors and they were delighted! After seeing the picture they sent me, I wished I had gotten myself a box too! Quick service and delivery on Thursday. Will definitely order again.

The cinnamon rolls are so yummy! I ordered a variety and was pleased with all of them. My favorites are the pecan and the chocolate chip. They delivered to my office building and sent a text letting me know when they were going to arrive. The ordering and customer service was great.
