Loved Buddy's Place!!Recommend: Without question!Place was on a Main Street corner, somewhat simple as a business front but don't let that fool you! Unique, eclectic interior, and quick to be seated. Menu was FILLED with options, super friendly service, meals were quick, perfect and delicious with zero issues on all four orders. To boot, the taste on all food was above par, and satisfying to my entire party. Absolutely stop in, nothing at all to note negatively, this is a down to earth, awesome restaurant that won't break your bank!

Interesting decor. Seat yourself. Service was a little slow at first and they would probably benefit from a hostess to help with that. But once we were recognized as sitting and waiting, the service was great. The food was plentiful and very tasty. Some of the best calabash shrimp at a non-seafood restaurant I have had. Cornbread and hush puppies were good and sweet. Even the fried squash was pretty good. If it were thinner it would have been perfect. A great meal and nice experience overall.

Our first time here. Parking is an issue for sure. Food wise, mine was great. But the onion rings had zero flavor and didn't taste fully cooked. My wife had chicken and dumplins and it wasn't good at all. Her mashed potatoes weren't good either. They tasted like they were made days ago and just warmed back up. Our waitress was really good, super friendly and helpful. I'd go back for the same meal but that's it. They have way too much on their menu. I don't see how this small place can handle that much food.

Located on the corner of a busy intersection, I stopped for a late lunch at this place while passing through. A small town with good country cookin was what I was looking for.They were not real busy when I was there, but there were many tables of various sizes. The place is huge inside. I loved the decor....really nice country vibe with a few "antiques" around. A waitress came and we talked briefly and she answered my questions and was helpful. The menu is huge...some of everything, including seafood, which surprised me.I ordered the chuckwagon dinner with brown gravy expecting a country fried steak with gravy. I also got fried squash and collards.The meat was a frozen breaded patty with canned gravy. There were two pieces, but I didnt eat it all. Just not what I expected at all.The squash was not cooked long enough. The breading was soft and squishy and just not cooked, so I fished the squash out and at that part and left the breading. It was from a frozen bag too. Ah, but the collards were good and cooked well and the tea was good.No one came back to check on me or I would have sent the squash back to be cooked. I had to ask for a tea to go at the counter where you go to pay the bill.A neat place....maybe I just ordered the wrong things, but dont think I will stop again.

The food is AMAZING! The service is fast and everyone is so friendly. Will definitely be eating here again!

Food is great service though isn't the best but still I go there a lot of times very much recommend it to people in the area you won't be mad.

Best seafood around! Great service at very reasonable prices. Menu has something for everyone.

Walked in about 2:45 on a Saturday. Not too busy. Sat down and waited for almost 15 minutes and nobody acknowledged me despite having walked past me to other tables. So I've taken my business across to the smokehouse.

Food was good but very disappointed in the environment. At least 7 tables needed to be cleared, floor was very dirty. Waitresses were having to clean their own tables making service slow. I don't like eating with dirty tables surrounding me and food on floor that people can slip and fall.
