My son has been in their program since 10mo, and my daughter has been in the program since 3 month. My son is now 3.5 years and is doing wonderful! He's becoming an intelligent, compassionate little person. I feel that he's supported well, and not pushed into learning, but allowed to learn through playing. Today, we received pictures of the children playing in a cardboard "train" that they'd painted. The joy on their faces! My daughter is in the infant room, and I can truly say that she is LOVED. She squeals with delight seeing her teachers in the morning. They are always engaged in art projects, different experiences, toy rotation, etc. I've noted that many of the teachers who my children have benefitted from have been employed by the center for many years. They all seem to truly enjoy their work, and love the children they care for!

This place is so-so. Don't think they pay the care givers enough because there seems to be a cancer among them--bad attitudes, smug towards parents, and high turnover. Could get rid of half of them and start hiring fresh talent. My wife gets has an unwelcome feeling from staff in our preschooler's room, and my guess is this bad attitude extends into the care our kid gets. Will leave once our turn comes up on the waitlist at one of the churches Uptown. It's probably safe and fine, but we don't get warm fuzzies. Menu is fine...I think they serve organic milk. The Bank of America Bright Horizons has a great reputation, but its only open to BofA employees, sadly.Agree with the previous commenter: this place costs too much for what you get, and the parking IS a small hassle twice a day. They should install those video cameras in the rooms so you could log on during the day to see what your kid is doing. I would feel better about how the place is run.

I put my daughter in the waiting list when she was 2 month old in September 2014. Now she already turn 3 and Bright Horizons still not let her enroll in the school. I followed up from September 2015 and called them almost every month. The lady always say my daughter is in the first priority and as long as there is an open spot she will let me know. If I know we need to wait more than 3 years, I will not waste my money to put her in the waiting list.

Bright Horizons At Carillon has made several updates to this center. Starting with the leadership. There is a fresh new face and teachers with a new outlook on curriculum. The center is in the middle of 5 star rating and has really hard to receive a 5 star rating (our fingers are crossed). My children currently attend Bright Horizons and they offer a 10% discount for your second child. They also have several parent events monthly, monthly parent calls, and are really welcoming. During my tour the teacher staff seemed happy and all the infant room really stood out to me. The education and experience of reach teacher is posted outside of the door and the staff are all continuing with higher education. My first child's teacher is currently in school and continues to bring fresh new ideas to the lesson plan. The teachers also communicate with TSG tool that tracks both of my child's progress. I did read the reviews above but this is a completely different center since those review the updates happened in 2013. Me and my husband would highly recommend this centerPositives: Administrative team (Sonya and Nikki) Rocks, Teacher quality and experience is great, classroom organization is clean and neat, curriculum focus, parent involvement activities are awesome, the menu offers several healthy options, and the playground is in the process of renovations in 2014!Negatives: Parking (pulling up to the 10th floor, the playground turf, location (not in a traditional building), and the sick policyOverall we give this new and improved center 5 STARS!!!! Please check out the updates for yourself!

Bright Horizons at Charlott, NC, cancelled a confirmed whole day - 9 hour - booking with a 30 min notice by calling 7:30 am for 8:00 am start time. They promised to call back and find a substitute for a baby sitter but never bothered to follow through. Very unreliable.

The jury is out on this daycare. They received a 4 out of a possible 5 stars (as rated by the NC division of child development) on quality, but their educational programs for the children received a poor score of 3 out of 7. Some of their teachers are excellent, but others are uneducated, unfriendly / have major attitude, irresponsible, immature. I give two stars because the facility is nice: it's keypad-secured, most of the rooms (not all!) are outfitted with lots of age-appropriate toys, and it's relatively clean. The parking situation (in a garage - must validate your ticket when exiting) is slightly annoying, but hey--it's urban!
